Wooohooo I'm first!!!!! I think it's the first time I've ever been first, LOL!!

Anyway, not much to say, had a horrible night last night. Lily has come down with a cold overnight and was awake half the night. I've had about 5hrs (if that!) of broken sleep and I'm sooo tired. I'm going to lay down in a mo while she's asleep.

That's it really....can't remember anyone's post in the other thread...I hope you all have a lovely day

Tah tah, I'm going to have a rest.

    Hi!

Had a big day shopping today...we were all tired by the time we got home...poor Dylan fell asleep sitting up in the trolley so I had to lay him down on the trolley floor...lucky I hadn't done the food part of the shop yet! LOL! They were good boys though!
I managed to get the house tidied tonight which is a miracle...I so haven't been bothered with it the last few days...I'm babysitting my nephew tomorrow morning though so I thought I better give it a tidy tonight so I can vacuum and clean in the morning...

Mel - Thats great you've made a decision with work etc. I'm sure you'll manage to fill in your time as well!! The days manage to fly by some how!
Yep...our house is in the estate behind Safeway which is right near bunnings...kind of in between sth gipp hwy and Narre warren/cranbourne rd...Dh and I aren't even really talking much about it...it just feels so far away it's like I can't quite get excited yet! LOL!

Kel - Hope you get a better sleep tonight and Lily's cold improves...

Jen - Grr at all this cleaning...hope you can relax more tomorrow!

Oh yeah and went to target and pre laybyed a cars adventure ride thing for Dylan which looks super fun and a wiggles playpen thing for Ethan!! 2 down and a whole lot more to go next Thursday! Not sure how I'm going to manage it yet cos they open at 8am and then are open until 12am...I better not miss out on anything! LOL!

    Hello....
Very quiet around here isnt it?
Bit weird at my house too as my boss of many years lost his 10year battle with kidney cancer last night so have spent much of today on the phone with old collegues. He fought a big fight for so long so it is doubly sad and he has two young boys aswell. Me on the phone has made Beau very cranky at me for showing him minimal attention!
Lol Kris at Dylan falling asleep in the trolley - typical of most men and shopping I would have thought! Glad you have a stocked fridge now tho. It must be a releif the place you are moving to is already renovated.
Beau did the cutest thing last night - lined up his minnie and mickey figurines and was properly kissing them with fish lips and everything! He opens the fridge now when his juice bottle is empty too and grabs the juice! Can you beleive how clever these kids are?!
Ok better get back to more cleaning.

    Oh how sad Jen...
The kids hate it when we're on the phone hey? My mum called today and Dylan yanked the phone off me and threw it on the floor while I was talking to her! I had to try hard not to laugh...
Yep - they are very clever!! Dylan doesn't open the fridge himself yet but he gets in there so quick when I do open it...always to grab yummy stuff he really isn't meant to be having...
He's just woken up from a a good 2 hour sleep so we'll have an afternoon treat of donuts soon...so bad but you've got to get something naughty out of shopping day I figure! LOL!

Did a bit of housework but I just can't be bothered...I feel tired and it's raining here and all miserable...A bit blah really...think I'll just spend the arvo playing with the kids and enjoying myself!
Dh and I are having "date night" tonight - which means watching a dvd snuggled up which will be nice...I won a double pass to a movie next wed night as well so mums going to babysit so we can go out...

    Ok...I'm blabbering now! Chat later!

    Hi everyone,

Jen, sorry to hear about your boss. That's just so sad. Cancer has to be the suckiest disease in the world.
Lily is the same with the phone, otherwise she'll stand there and want to talk, but when I give her the phone to talk she just stands there and grins like a cheshire cat!
How cute that Beau kissed all his toys. Lily is starting to take more notice of what her toys 'do' now, rather than just looking at them, kwim? Like with her doll she'll hug it and pat it's back sometimes, and kiss it too. Rather than just bite it's fingers!! She's also starting to pretend, she gets a cup or plate and spoon and pretends to put things into it and stir it, or pretends to tip her drink itno it and stir or 'eat' it. Its so great to watch things click in her head, and then she just 'gets' it.

Kris, I don't know how you go shopping with two bubs! I go insane with just Lily...she's getting to the point she doesn't want to sit in her pram or trolley any more she has to walk everywhere, and likes to 'help', such a PITA! Especially now that I just want to get in and out, I hate shopping at the mo being so big. I get really tired doing shopping and waddling around.
I soooo need to tidy my house, I will do some tonight. Since my huge burst of energy, I haven't done anything! Though Lily got sick and I'm not feeling so great with lack of sleep, headaches and (I suspect) a chest infection. But DH has been home today and I feel a bit better having slept for 2hrs this arvo!!
Nope, no luck with the sleep here. Lil's still not well, though alot better than yesterday. I was so tired last night and this morning. I fell asleep watching In the night garden and playschool with Lily. I'm lucky she is so entranced by those shows and didn't get into mischief!
Where do you fit all of these toys you buy??? I can barely fit the ones I have here and that's not many, and I'm wondering where I will be putting any new ones for bubs. You're moving in the nick of time, just before chrissy to fit all of the boys toys in, LOL!!!
Enjoy your date night. I hope you have a nice time . And Yayyy @ winning tix to the movies. What will you see?

As for us, we've had a really lazy day at home. Nothing exciting happening other than DH being home for a few days to help (wooohoooo!!!!). Baby is kicking the cr@p out of me tonight and my tummy is sore from coughing so much. He has turned for me, off my back which has eased my back pain a bit, but now he's laying straight down my tummy and I have to sit forwards with my belly between my legs....very lady like, NOT! And my ribs hurt! Complain, complain, complain!!!
Anyway, gotta put the monkey to bed, she's going sleep crazy....that's when she goes psyco like an overexcited puppy running and yapping like it's insane!!
    Night, sleepy vibes to everyone!

    Hi All,

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying their weekend.

Yesterday was a very interesting day, Olivia refused to sleep, despite being in her cot for nearly 2 hours. She was almost alseep at dinner time, but I managed to keep her up til just before 7pm and she crashed big time. She woke at 130, jumped in bed with us and slept til 630 this morning. Shes been sooky all morning and I just poped her in bed wih a bottle at 1145. Hopefully she'll have a good sleep now. We have my neices 2nd birthday to go to today and its dhs birthday tomorrow. We have heaps of birthdays coming up too.

Ok, better run and do lunch.

    Good Morning....
Hope everyone had a nice weekend....ours was ok - I was a bit emotional/pre-menstrual for some of it and DH copped it! Apart from that it was ok - over too quickly! We had our first open with our new agent on Saturday which had two contracts go out and 2nd insp. with builders on Wednesday night (thats what some of the PMT was aimed at LOL).
Beau has been waking an hour after he has been put down the last few nights (and staying up till 9pm)- I have started putting him into bed with the rest of his bottle as its the only way he will settle atm so I thought he might havebeen getting burps from that but last night he slept thru no worries so who knows? 9pm is far too late tho for my sanity - I get into bed straight after basically, god talk about no life!
Kel - Thats so cute with Lily and her "eating" - B likes to fill your drink up with an empty milk bottle and he loves to say "din" with everything as "cheers" and touches your glass with his bottle - he will even cheers you with toast! Too funny! DH has tought him that one! You sound like you are in so much agony at the final stages of your PG! You poor bugger - hope DH being home the past few days has been nice.
Mel- Hope Olivias sleep patterns have sorted themselves out for you and you ate lots of fairy bread at your neices party! Yay!
    Hi to everyone else x

    Hi girls!

Mel, sorry to have you worry - I've been off work for a week and had a shocker at home with Ben so didn't even have time to turn the computer on all week

My scan went well on Monday Bub is VERY active - moreso than Ben which has me a bit concerned since Ben bruised all around my belly button when I was around 30/35wks pg! The poor sonographer had a hard time getting the measurements as bub kept squirming and moving away from the soundwaves - just like his/her big brother use to! At one stage, Twobob even mooned us - it's just like it's father!!!!

I'm sorry, I won't have time for proper personals today - just quick ones:
Kel, Mel and Jen, I can totally relate to the crappy sleeps of late. Last week we had a terrible night nearly every night. Ben got two more molars though so I'm hoping that's the end of that - last night was a bit better

Kris, congrats on the house - it looks awesome!

Kaz, glad you're feeling better. Sorry to hear about your uncle

As I said, we've had a shocker. Ben had terrible nappy rash that was weeping last weekend and took days to clean up. He didn't sleep through the night for most of the week and wouldn't take afternoon naps - or morning naps for that matter. Morning sickness has made a late surge with me and I've been vomitting every night quite badly, although I wouldn't be surprised if I've picked up the tummy bug that Ben and DH had earlier in the week. So much for my lovely week off!!!!

On the bright side, we did go to Disney On Ice on Thursday and my son is definitely my son!!!! He loved it all - totally mesmerised, even though it was his third time going. He especially loved it when the fab five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy) were out. He's totally obsessed with Mickey and Donald at the moment - that's my boy!

Anyway, I have a week's worth of work to catch up on. I'll chat later

    Hi girls,

Well I don't have the energy for personals at the moment. This is going to be a poor me post too... I feel like cr@p, with a chest infection and throat infection. Lily has a chest infection and both of her ears are infected too. So we're not doing so well here at the mo.
DH brought her into our bed last night and I had THE WORST sleep ever. I owuld have preferred to be getting up every hour than have her tossing and turning and hitting and kicking me! She slept right next to me huffing and puffing into my face with her crazy hair everywhere in my face! I had an arvo snooze for about an hour or so, but I'm ready for bed again. I'm so over being pg and just want to curl up and sleep for a year.
Lil's been ok considering, but I just have no patience left for anything. She has moments of just whinging and whinging, but it's to be expected! DH is going to work tomorrow so I have to get up to her all night. I have to keep on telling myself that that we'll have a good night and day tomorrow!
Anyway enough with the whinging, I'm going to bed!!
I hope you all had a better few days than us!!

    Hi!

Not much happening around here...gearing up for another shopping spree on Wed night at the Target sale...the local one is opening at midnight so stupid me is going again...I would go through the day but I don't know how long it will take and I can't take the kids so it's easier for me to head out at night.
Dylan's well - he's such a smart little cookie! I think I overlook it sometimes having Louis being that bit older and knowing so much more...makes me feel a little guilty - he's also stubborn sometimes so will only do things when he's good and ready whereas Louis was always ready to entertain!
He's doing all the actions to "rock a bye your bear" and starting saying bob today for bob the builder and naming tools - hammer etc, He also says "excuse me Louis" if he wants something and thank you - but again only when he wants to! He's such a gorgeous boy and I got big cuddles after his nap today which was nice...he gives big ones when you ask but now won't give us kisses will only give us his cheek...little monkey! He loves helping out as well which is soo cute! The boys are getting along really well also and are always giving each other big cuddles and doing really well sharing their toys...
We took them out yesterday - Louis got to ride on the train with his dad while Dylan and I met them at the shops...we watched kung fu panda at the movies and they did really well considering how long they had to sit in there for! Both had a big sleep in the arvo which was nice as well...
It's been great they've been sleeping in as well - generally about 7.30-8am which is soo nice - then I put the tv on for them and go back to sleep for 30min!! until they come in harrassing me for some brekky! hehe.
I really am such a lucky mum!! It makes me so excited to meet my little Ethan...I know it's so tough to start with but it doesn't take long before it gets easier...

Anyway...sorry I'm a big sook at the moment...just with all the stress of the house stuff gone I'm just feeling back to my normal self...so much more relaxed and enjoying the boys and even enjoying dh a lot more!! LOL!

Kel - one word for shopping with kids - FOOD! We get to the shops and go around in a bit of a circuit and always stop at bakers delight for some bread and and go to boost to get a smoothie - this keeps them occupied for a while and then Dylan gets the dummy if he's cranky after that...works for me and we're often out for up to 3 hours without any major dramas!! In saying that - not sure I'll cope with 3 shopping...will probably leave bubs at home until he can sit up in the trolley and then take whichever 2 want to go...or maybe try and fit it in while Louis goes to kinder next year...will have to see...They learn so much though from shopping - Louis can put things in the shopping and presses the buttons on the eftpos...he also knows heaps of fruit and veg and I'm trying to teach those things to Dylan now as well...It also teaches them manners and saying hello and thank you to people...I find it really worthwhile...Also Louis has learnt that he can't have everything he sees - I always let him have a look at it or press buttons but he knows it has to go back on the shelf...he got a bit upset over some sunglasses the other day but he came up with putting them on his santa list and then put them back - He was upset but he still did it so I was happy with that!
Sorry to hear you and LIly are so sick...I hope you both feel better soon...poor things...Hope you get a better sleep tonight...
LOL on fitting in toys - there room is so jam packed!! Especially with them sharing so there's a cot and single bed and change table etc in there! I can't wait til we move and then we're going to have a toy room!! (well at least until Ethans bigger anyway...)
The free tickets are to a special screening of a movie called taken...not one I would normally got and see but it's free so may as well!

Melissa - Bugger Olivia missed her day sleep! Makes things hard thats for sure! Hope your dh had a nice b'day today!

Oh Jen! Good luck with seeling your house!! I hope you hear some good news soon! Hope Beau settles back with his sleeps soon as well...I definitely appreciate that time out at night so I agree with you - 9pm is way too late!! I'm sure he'll go back to normal soon...

Disgirl - Yeah at a great scan! LOL at him being super active...hope he doesn't belt you up too much!
Sorry to hear you've had such a rough week...Hope this one improves for you! Yeah at going to disney on ice! Sounds fantastic!!

Ok enough of my rambling...chat later!

    HEy Girls,

Good to hear from you Mel. Glad your scan went well. Bugger though your having a rough time with Ben. Ouch on the nappy rash. Have you tried the Zinc and caster oil??? I saw it at Big w the other day for around $5. I use that alot and just stops the acid from getting on the skin.

Kel- big hugs to you. Youve been having a rough time of it lately and to top it off youre both sick. Hope you get better soon.

Kris- your boys sound lovely together. I hope my girls will be that close. Olivias doing pretty well with words too, although for the life of me I cant remember what they are at this time of night!!!!

Olivia caught up on her sleep and slept welll last night. Today she went back to the allergy specialist. The yeast free diet did nothing, so now she is doing a patch test- she has about 10 different allergens dotted on her back until thursday morning. shes been grumpy ever since. I cant give her a bath either til then. Hes also put her on a stronger antibiotics- eurethromycin- coz he is fairly sure there is a bacterial infection in her skin as well.
I have had one of those days. Its been a mad rush to get things done and everything I tied doing, I did something to make it harder. Like drop stuff on the floor, or explode stuff in the microwave. Then DH made me cry because he is so cynical about doctors and their treatments. And his dad aslo made me cry this arvo coz he was yelling at me giving me instructions on how to reverse out of the drive way....I am not an idiot. All I wanted to do is cry and we had a house full of people over for dinner for dhs birthday. At least that turned out ok...I made mexican. Not that I got to eat much coz I was too busy making stuff and cleaning up. Now I am exhausted and ready to go to bed.

Sorry that was a me post too....good night.

Oh girls! Sounds like everybody is having a bit of a bad run!

Kel, geez you are having a really bad trot. Lets hope that you and Lil both start feeling better soon. Not long to go now until you meet your little boy

Kris, Dylan sounds so cute! Ben's words are really coming along too, although most of his words tend to be food items The fatso had four weet bix and four pieces of toast (or toat as he calls it) for breakfast yesterday!!!
Hmmm, I noticed you called my bub 'he' and 'him'. Do you know something that I don't It's funny because I've always pictured myself having three boys for some reason. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I can't believe you're going to another midnight toy sale! I haven't even looked at the Target catalogue yet. I really need to get my act together - I have 9 nieces and nephews all under 10!

Mel, Poor Liv with her allergies. I hope they find out what she is having problems with and that it's something easy to manage. My eldest niece is allergic to egg, dairy and nuts and she misses out on so much!
Poor you too! You're a bit of a hero cooking for all those people. When I'm pregnant I do nothing like that. If people want to celebrate - we'll go out!

I'm doing a billion times better today. I think I know the reason I was so sick last week and I'm a bit embarrassed about it....I think I was dehydrated! Yesterday I drank a lot of water and by last night I felt a million bucks. Even had dinner! Feeling good again today too so I'll make sure I drink plenty of water. When I'm at home I find it really hard to keep track of what I've had to drink, but at work I just sip water all day so it's easier. Feel a bit sheepish about it all.

Ben had a good night last night. I had to wake him up this morning which I absolutely hate doing. Less than 19 weeks left of work though and then he can sleep as late as he wants

Hope you're all warmer than I am - it's freezing here today! Have a good day

    Hi there....
I feel really dizzy and am typing this in bed while B is kipping - I am waiting for AF and skipped a days pill this month so I hope I am not PG!!!!!

Kel - Hugs to you and Lil, I couldnt think of anything worse than what you are going thru - I was sick a lot when PG with Beau, its like a double whammy all the time when you are so secceptable to flu and infections when PG. Not long to go now - it will all thurn out ok just keep telling yourself that, Lily is going to have to sort herself out a bit more herself when her little brother comes along. Hope you survived DH working last night ok.

Mel - Geez, cooking for lots of peeps when you are PG! Dont you have the worst time when you have lots of people over? I always do! We should go out like Disgirl says. Wow, I look forward to giving B a bath cause it gives me a break for a half an hour - it must be annoying not being able to give Olivia one, lets hope this test proves to help and DH will eat his words. Tell your FIL not to harass a pregnan woman too! Sheesh!

Kris - You are a department stores dream customer LOL! Gosh Dylan sounds so advanced! Your circuit at the shops sounds eearily like ours! Bakers delight thrn Boost juice if I want to do a few things - b was a shocker at the shops this morning - he just wants to walk everywhere! Kicks and screams to get out of the pram. I cant beleive Dylan says "excuse me Loius" I am over the moon with Beaus "yuck yuck" at the mo! Ha ha!

Dis - Glad you are feeling better and sorry you have been having some crappy nights with Bens molars. Glad you all enjoyed Disney on Ice, thats super cute! I hate waking Beau for house inspectios - he is all cosy under the blankies in his cute posi's and all - breaks your heart! bens nappy rash sounds like what Beau gets too...I remember when you had bruises around your belly last time you were PG. i remember I had no stretch marks until about the 34th week too and then whammo! Just no more room in there by then!

Us - Well Beau was awake at 11:30 till midnight - I tried to let him cry it out but he wouldnt stop and was in consolable when I got him up - so I turned on the light and we played with his toy animals then I put him down again. They are so weird those wake ups. The house is looking promising but I am not going to jinx it.
Ok feeling crappy so going to rest.

Jen, I won't say anything to jinx your house, but good luck!

OMG, do you really think you could be pg?

Don't talk to me about stretchmarks - I don't want any! Thankfully I didn't get any with Ben and I'm hoping to stay the same. Mum said she didn't get any until her 4th bub (my sis has always been a pain ) so I figure if I stop at three I'll be right
