    Hi!

Had a great day today after a shocker yesterday...gosh I think the hormones got to me as well and I spent most of the day sooo upset...a good chat with my mum last night and a chat with dh has helped a lot though...
Then both boys slept through the whole night last night - I'm thinking it's the first time ever although I can't really remember...either way it's been a long long time!
We had a gorgeous day today playing play-doh and painting and having a laugh! Dylans coming out with all new words every day which is soooo cute! He's such a little character...He's still very cheeky but does seem to be starting to listen a bit more which hopefully means the persistance is paying off...

Mel - I'd love to catch up! Sounds great...now to organise a time...do you still have Kaz's details??
Big hugs for you as well...it must be all this miserable weather that doesn't help much either. We all need a good dose of sunshine!! LOL!

Disgirl - Go right ahead - I'm happy for you to plan it! It will give us something to look forward too! LOL! Glad you've had some good sleep!

Jen - Beau sounds so cute all dressed up! Hope you got some pictures! Poor little things does sound a bit in the wars...
Sounds like you had a great day yesterday! LOL at needing new dvds...My kids Looovvveee new mcdonalds farm as well but I'm just as bad and encourage it! hehe. Louis has just got into movies which is a nice change and loves ice age and ice age 2 - don't know if you've seen them but he can recite parts and Dylan started doing a little funny part from ice age 2 as well...never thought a 15mo would be copying movies...such a boy thing I think! I know my dh can remember things so well from movies but they go in one ear and out the other with me...hehe.

Kel - Big hugs...I'm glad you managed to get a good sleep and have a break for some time on your own...The kids do get into everything at this age which is draining sometimes...Nearly time for bubs to arrive though which is so very exciting!!!

    Hi girls!

Kel, you poor thing. I think the reason you had the meltdown was because you're so tired. Well, that and the hormones of course! If you slept for three hours, you obviously really needed it Hope you're feeling better soon.

Mel, I need some warm weather too! Sick of the cold! It's bloody freezing at my place in the morning. 0 Degrees when I got up this morning. As if I need more reasons to want to stay home!

Jen, I bet Beau looked gorgeous! They're just so fun at this age. It's kinda sweet that he missed you so much, but a pain because you know what he's feeling when you're gone IYKWIM?

Kris, Ben's coming out with new words every day now too. It's amazing how much he's developed in a few short weeks. He tells jokes too. No idea what he says, but he says "Mum...." followed by a bunch of gobbledegook and then cracks up He's going to be class clown - just like his father!

Does anybody know if they're supposed to be having a growth spurt right now? Ben is eating like a pig. No idea how I'm going to afford food when he's a teenager! He eats four weet bix for breakfast and then has toast!!!! No way could I eat that much!

    Hi girls,

Well, I have been having some promising signs of bubs coming the past few days. Lost my mucous plug over the past two days and had some pains through the night, pretty sure they were contractions, every 20mins or so. Needless to say I had a pretty sleepless night. I had my ante natal appt today too and dr said bubs is 4/5ths engaged, yay!! Though it feels like I have a ball between my legs! And when I sit I feel like I'm sitting on his head... So I'm hoping bubs will be here before the weekend. My Due date is friday...hoping he's not late.

Kristie, sometimes, we all need a good breakdown to get the point across, LOL! I'm glad to hear you sorted things out though, and that you had such a great day.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Lily is a bit more adventurous than the average toddler...In terms of finding places she shouldn't get into anyhow. She's now learnt that if she stands on her little bikey thing she can get up to things that are higher, like the kitchen bench, my tall boy, the book shelves, onto the lounge, then onto the side table...she also pulls out all of our clothes from our drawers, pulls out the shoes and my hand bags....yada yada. If I don't follow her everywhere she goes and put things away or stop her from pulling it all out, the place would look like a tornado had been through here! And at the mo I just can't keep up.

Dis, I can't believe how much Ben eats! I'm lucky if I can get one whole weetbix into Lily at the moment. She's been off her food seriously lately. Only grazing for the day, eating crackers, cheese, small tubs of yogurt or custard, small chunks of apple etc... I can't even get her to eat a propper dinner. But she's happy for the most part, so no worries.

Hello to everyone else, I hope you are all well. If I'm not on in the next few days, you'll know I've popped! You can check out my belly buddies if anyone gets curious, 15-31st August.

    Hi!

Mel - Probably Mon or Fri suits me best but can be flexible if that doesn't suit you guys...Mornings are probably better so I can get the boys home for the arvo and Dylan can sleep but again I'm happy to work around you guys...

Kel - I'm so excited for you!!!!!! Oooh I hope he arrives soon! It's so nice when all the starting signs are there and you know it won't be too far away!!! Good luck!!
I don't blame you for not being able to keep up with Lily! It's hard enough at the best of times let alone when your so p/g!!!

Not much from us...Just cruising along...

    Hey All

Kel- thats great news, I cant believe you are due already, that came around so fast. Good luck and I hope you have a great birth.

Mel- Ben eats loads. Olivia will eat a weetbix with pureed fruit and occassionally she will have some more fruit after that. She eats constantly throughout the day though. Shes probably about 12 kgs now and very healthy

Kris- that sounds good to me, i'm not sure if Kaz works full time though. Will text her tomorrow. I am keen to do mornings as Olivia still has an afternoon nap, which I am happy to keep going Will be good to see your growing belly.

Hey jen- hows things? Hows Bs teeth? Yep cant wait for the sunshine to enjoy my new deck and pegola.... whens the move???

Me- I went to the midwife yesterday, alls good. She is referring me to physio for my pelvic floor issues. I am still having bleeds when I strain to go to the toilet. I cant believe how constipated I am. I have had coloxyl with senna for the past 3 nights and still nothing. Every time I push I feel like my front is going to pop out. Maybe i am using the wrong muscles. Thing havent been right since having Olivia. Plus I have started weeing sometimes if i sneeze too quickly. Great!!!! Bubs is well shes been kicking like mad...on my bladder. My legs have been *****ily itchy lately too and am having a bit of trouble gettinbg some good sleep. I havent got any stretch marks so far, but crossing fingers I wont. I have been looking at names too coz I cant make up my mind!!! I like Kristen Elizabeth at the moment.....does that go ok with Olivia? DH and I havent really talked about it lately. We are off to brisbane on the weekend for a wedding so will have a few hours on the plane to chat. My aim is to have one or two names by the time we get home.

Ok I think I have rambled enough. take care and good luck Kel

Mel - I can make a weekend catchup if that works better for Kaz...no dramas!
Sorry to hear your having a few issues...Hopefully a physio can help a bit...
Ooh I like Kristen elizabeth - it sound really pretty! Yeah on no stretchmarks...I haven't got any new ones yet but I'm not holding my breath - LOL! Hope you get some sleep tonight! I'm very lucky that in all my p/g so far I've always had great sleep (other than my boys waking me of course!)...

Mel, I really, really like Kristen Elizabeth I think Kristen, Kris, Kristy all go well with Olivia. I really like both those names. I have a SIL Christen though and DH doesn't like the name Elizabeth *sigh* We're so bad with girls' names! So far we're kinda liking Amy (I think you liked that a while back too), Kathryn/Kate and have at various times like Natalie too. We're not adventurous at all with names - obviously! I mean Ben isn't exactly out there is it? LOL For a boy we have Jared Ray and our daughter will have the middle name Anne. That's about it though.
I had issues with my pelvic floor muscles early on after I had Ben and I had to work really hard because I was just so embarrassed. I had no control at all - despite doing all the exercises before having Ben - it was awful. I hope the physio can help you, it must be frightening seeing blood every time you go to the loo
I had awful constipation with Ben too. Mine was mostly caused by the vitamin Elevit though so this time I've stayed right away from it, increased my water intake and eat more fibre. So far so good, although I have some after-effects from my issues with Ben and the birth. I guess that will be there forever -yuk! Good luck at the physio.

We're going along great here. Ben slept for 12 hours last night! I had a great sleep too and that makes all the difference in the world. The better Ben is though, the more I worry that this bub is going to be a nightmare!!!

Yesterday he learnt to say "Righyho Joe!" What a crack up!

Hey Mel- thats so cute, Bens coming out with cute stuff. So far we've got Olivia to say love you...it come out lubyo!!! Oh I do like Amy as well, but I cant decide. I like kristen alot. DH thinks its too close to his cousins name, Christine, but I think I can budge him on that!!!

Yeah I hope physio will fix things up too. Its a little embarressing wetting yourself sneezing. Thankfully it hasnt happened too often and when it has its been at home. If I can feel the sneeze come on, I am usually ok, but if its a sneaky one..ohoh!! Fourth night of coloxyl and we have had some success!!! I'm on the Blackmores gold, so Im not too sure if its that. I am drinking heaps of water and I eat high fibre for breaky. Lets hope it will settle....soon!!

Well my day is cleaning and getting ready to take Olivia to my mums tomorrow night. I like to be prepared for the women who warms my daughters yoghurt in the microwave...iykwim?!?!?! I have got all her food and bedding to organise, just need to write up a routine. Hopefully she can keep to it, or there abouts!! I'm more frightened of coming back and Olivia has been going to bed at 11pm and sleeping with my mum!!! I'm sure it will be fine...only 3 nights

Have a great day...oh and I have text Kaz too

    Hi!

Had a great day out to see Cindy's new house - there was a whole big group of us with kids (mostly forum mums!) and they had a ball! It was a big day for us all though...I managed a 10min snooze when I go thome which was much needed! I got cuddles with a little 2 1/2 m old which was soo nice - I so forget what they're like when their that small! LOL!

Disgirl - I like your names! My middle name is Ann...Sorry to hear you had troubles after having Ben..it couldn't have been nice at all...
Glad you got a good nights sleep! I'm sure bubs will be good for you!!

Mel - I'm sure your mum will be right with Olivia - I didn't realise you weren't taking her - that will be a nice break!!!

K...off to chill out...dh is heading to bed in a minute so I'll no doubt have to get off the computer (can't wait until we have a seperate office - It's horrible having everything in our bedroom!) Might have a read...

Hi girls, I'm still around, still having some contrax and losing my show, but still VERY pg! I'm really over it. And really tired.
Lily is getting sick again, grrrr! Very bad timing. I'm hoping it doesn't get any worse. I took her to the dr but they have changed their hours and don't open on Wednesday arvos!! I was p!ssed! It takes so much effort to get her out of this place, carrying her and going down all the stairs....and to have them be closed! Not happy.
Any way I'm going for a shower and going to try to sleep for more than 2hrs at a time.
Hello to everyone, and I hope you are all doing well.

Kel, you poor thing. Let's hope Lil doesn't get too sick and is back to her regular self soon. A sick toddler is the last thing you need

Kris, you won't know what to do with yourself when you are in your new home with all that space

Mel, have you left liv overnight before? I booked us into a hotel at Bowral for a wedding in November and it will be the first night I've been away from Ben. I must be nuts because I'm already worried about it

Us, I booked a weekend away at the Blue Mountains for next weekend!!! Woohoo - I haven't been away for so long! Ben's coming too, but he's no problem when we go to new places.
I've also made an enquiry for an observation at a Montessori Pre-School near us. It's for 3-6 year olds and apparantly I'm a bit late to put his name down, but I'm really keen to get him in. I'm nervous though - I feel like I know nothing about schools etc!!!!

Oooooh Ben FINALLY said "uvoooo" this morning! I've been trying to get him to say it - "Love you" that is - for ages! This morning though he finally said it, and then wouldn't STOP saying it Don't think I'll ever get sick of hearing it though

    Morning!

Disgirl - I know! We're going to have to buy bean bags for the second lounge room to start with - LOL!
It's normal to be worried about leaving bubs...I think I've had 1 night without Louis and haven't had a night at all without Dylan...I keep thinking dh and I should get away for a weekend but then I can't get over leaving the boys...so silly really...I know they'd be fine with my mum it just my own issues stopping it from happening...I will have to start thinking about letting go at some point - I was really hoping to get a weekend away before bubs arrives and I'm tied down for another 12m b/feeding but haven't organised it yet...with the house move and everything it just feels like there's too much on to bother with iywkim?
Good for you planning a weekend away! It will be such a nice break! Yeah you do have to get on top of the school thing pretty quickly - I think pre-school/kinder is a lot worse than Primary as they don't usually cater to so many students...
How nice Ben says love you - Can't get that out of dylans mouth yet...it's hard enough to get a kiss from him - he only gives me his cheek! LOL!

OK...better go and have a shower - have to do food shopping today but soooo can't be bothered...after such a big day yesterday the boys are already feral this morning...might have to leave it until Dylan has a sleep...

Kris, you've made me feel a million times better about worrying about leaving Ben overnight I sometimes think that I'm too clingy

The whole pre-school thing is crazy! It seems far too early to even be thinking about it, but I know the Anglican schools I was looking at have waiting lists already for Prep :nono: Waaaaaaaay too expensive though - over $5000/year for a four year old!!! Geez!

Hey Mel I have left Olivia overnight a fair bit. First time was back in November with my mum so I could go to a hens night. I remember leaving and crying all the way home!!! She was only 8 months or so then. I have left her with DH over night, which was supprisingly good!! he told me that you cant get any thing done!!! Then we left her again with my mum for our honeymoon in April for about 6 nights....missed her so bad, then to come back and she had learnt to walk!! Now this time its for 3 nights with mum. Not too brave to give her to anyone else yet! She'll be good, its always just me, i miss her so bad.

thats so cute bens started saying that. I think I said the other day thats all I can get Olivia to say. She says it all the time and in the car...she thinks its funny, she cacks herself up.

I wonder how kellie is going??? Hope shes ok. I am off to brisbane early tomorrow so I might just quickly jump back on tonight to see if all is good with her.
