Welll thursday night was horrid. Pip fell asleep ... then threw up. DH & I argued over that (he'd aparently just checked him and told me to let him cry it out) but his cry was weird, and the coughing sounded chunky... vomited 3 times - once in his bed, once in our bed and then once in the clean bed.

Doc said he's got "a virus" but apparently the little mark under his nose which I thought was from him picking his nose is actually staff so we've got ointment for that.

    Hiya girls,

Wow, I've managed two posts in a week! Yay!

Mel, yeah, I like these tickers too, they're much bigger and brighter! So everyone can see my little monkeys
I hope R's hips turn out to be ok. I guess the positive is (I think??) thatthey don't seem to be as bad as O's were? And I hope O is better with her thrush and wheezing. All that smoke around must be awful.

Kaz, I hope you and Pip are feeling better. And that Pip has stopped biting you!! Little monster. That's actually one thing Lily never did, thank goodness! Mind you she made up for it in other ways!

Dis, yeah, I've had some pretty major meltdowns lately with the sleep deprivation. I'm really bad if I don't get enough sleep and well lately that has been alot. Because I can't sleep int he day anymore with having to work, I'm really feeling the days I get less than about 4-5 hrs! (God hasn't that changed......a few yrs ago it would hve been more like 7-8hrs!!) One day I only got 2hrs nd I hd a really bad breakdown, sobbing and teary all day. Poor DH is getting the same sleep, maybe little more, but not much. But he can cope alot better with little sleep he's more used to it from having been in the navy.
You're lucky you have someone to look after the kids. I don't, my mum won't even do it if they're sleeping! One thing I can count on is that they both sleep from bout 7-11pm. Just enough time for a nice dinner out for DH and I, but mum just won't do it...what if they wake up??? I seriously have no idea how she parented me and my bro's!
Glad to hear things are getting a bit better for you too. Things do get easier. It's so hard the first few months. I didn't really feel properly human til Liam was about 4mths! Now I feel ****ty again cause of lack of sleep!! Ugh, I can't wait til one or the other of them sleeps through the night every night!

We are doing ok. We had a great night sleep last night, Liam slept for almost 6hrs straight, and one of his teeth is through, so I'm hoping I get some time off the hourly waking for a while! Lil did pretty well too, once she came into our room, she slept 11pm til 4am straight. So I'm feeling pretty human today! Yay!! Must go and make the most of my mood, lol! Hope all are well.

Well I wrote this huge post the other day and BB packed up, so I lost it Oh and I had to take my ticker off coz the picture was too big Never mind. It was good while it was there!!!!

I think I was talking about hips....yes, I had Hip Dysplasia when I was born, so both my girls having it has been unlucky. Its more common in first born girls (I was 2nd girl and my sister didnt get it and neither did my 6 brothers) and its also common in breech bubs and bubs with feet problems....both my girls have had feet problems (positional tallipes...Rebeccas was called something different, but hers was bad...its kind of straighter now!!!). Yeah rebeccas hips are no where near as bad as Olivias, which is good. I just hate waiting to see the specialist...joys of public system!!! Oh well thursday will come around soon enough!

kaz- hope youre feeling better soon. If you want I can look after Pip for you/

Kel- I dont know how you do it. You have been blessed with crappy sleepers. Am hoping the sleep well soon for you and can totally understand your meltdowns. I would be a basket case!!!!
Olivias been sleeping in her toddler bed the last few nights. Sometimes its great...the other times are bad. Thismorning DH and I woke up coz Rebecca was awake playing in her bassinett at 830. We were saying how good it was that Olivia had slept in, then all the sudden from the floor we heard her start talking. We didnt hear her come in!!! I checked on her after beccas last feed at 615 and she was still in her bed!!!! Must have come in and got no response from either of us and fell back asleep on the floor! Today I had to take her out for a drive to get her to have her arvo sleep...thats how I have to do it atm!!!

    Ok...enough rambling!

    more fires

    so, so tired

Woke up to find something smelling really bad. It was Pip - he had pood and it all went up his back (erk) - DH's fault as he put him in a sposie overnight.

Have you noticed our little munchkins are becoming little boys and girls instead of babies?
