heys ladies - still waiting on the specialist to tell me when i can get the mirena removed :(
OMG, Pip did the silliest thing on Saturday afternoon - we went to woolies and he was quiet at the end of an aisle - too quiet. I looked at him looking at the easter bunnies and picked him up, he can complete with easter bunny in his mouth! When I bought it the checkout operator asked if I knew it was broken .. she saw Pip and went "oh. OK." When DH went in later, he said there were another 3 bunnies which had the ears bitten off ... cheeky monkey!
Kris - you are so busy! I get tired just reading about you! And Mel, how's O going now, settling a bit?
Foxtel man finally came, time for me to go to work!
-
Mel, that's great that the girls are still sleeping better. Happy to hear that the cake was a hit :) I"m thinking I will just order one of those edible icing disc thingys and stick it on a cake. Last year we spent $50 on a cake! Not doing that again.
Kris, you need a sleep! I could NOT survive without at least one nap a week and I only have two kids. Good luck getting rid of the mummy guilt. I don't know if it's possible. I know I feel guilty over the silliest things!
Kaz, I don't really blame Pip for chowing down on the bunnies. I've often thought of it myself
We had another good night last night :) Spent all day at home today. Managed to make the house mildly presentable, which was good because my mum dropped by on a surprise visit with one of my nieces and then my dad, brother and nephew dropped in as well! When Craig got home from work and realised mum was here he whispered to me "Glad you did some housework this morning!" Yep, it really was THAT bad from the weekend
I"m getting so many smiles and laughs from Jared. It's awesome. He's SO easy to get to smile or giggle. We used to have to really work on Ben, but J is a smiley boy. Ben is starting to take a bigger interest in him now and is even sharing his cars with him, which is a big achievement since he LOVES his cars :)
As for birthday presents, Ben is getting more Thomas stuff to go on his big track. It's set up in our home theatre room and we'll just add these pieces to it. Craig can't wait
-
We went to the teddy bears picnic today and had fun!!! Olivia didnt want to go home. This arvo Olivia pushed her little cart into Beccas head...ofcourse she screamed...for ages and has her first bruise. Then Olivia banged er mouth and has a fat lip. Olivia went to bed at 615 today, she was so tired I suppose from the big weekend and big day we had today... hopefully she will have a great sleep and will have a happy day tomorrow.
Kristie....what was that clock you had? Think I might go shopping tomorrow and have a look. Hugs.... I can look after the boys while you get some rest?!?!?
Kaz- good to hear from you. Thats so funny about Pip and the bunny. Olivia doesnt miss a trick now with chocolate. I had some m&ms today (snuck them in). She must have smelt them on my breath as she was looking for choccie frog!!! Good luck with the specialist.
Mel, glad the boys are sleeping well. And arent those smiles great! Beccas laughing a lot now too, so cute. Ok shes up....chat soon:)

Hello!
My silly mobile broadband is so bloomin slow, I have to wait till I am patient enough to try and post!
We went to playgroup yesterdayday (its on twice a week at the church if I want to go twice...) because we didnt get to go on Thurs cause of Beau's meltdown (and mine), I have decided its a healthy way to start the week instead of cleaning the house or similar! Puts me in a better frame of mind. Anyway, we have been pretty good, had a girlfriend here all weekend which was great, got to catch up on lots of goss. On Friday night my back was really sore, and my arms and I woke up shivering in the middle of the night in pain - I thought I was getting the flu but nothing has eventuated - weird. Today I have a massive migraine - we went to the shop and it was a bit stressful, Beau is very aware now of doughnut king etc and its a bit of a tantie fest now days when he doesnt get what he wants.
Kaz - Thats great advice with the door/step - I think I am still treating him like a baby a lot of the time IYKWIM? I change our house around so much - it might have to be a doorway or something cause there isnt one chair that stays in the same spot for long!!! I walk away from Beau when he is throwing a tantie, and move form room to room ignoring him but it doesnt have much effect by that time I dont think. You sound like you are just on edge atm, its fair enough you feel like you are looking after everyone else and no one is looking after you - say it! Do it in a cheeky way if you think it will start a fight - let him get the message though!
Kaz - Sounds like Pip has good taste!
Mel - Thats great Olivia had a cool party, good on you with the cake! She sounds adorable with her tins and pegs not 'real' toys. Ikea used to have wooden tell time clocks, not sure if they still do. You sound like you need some down time, its a bit scary getting dizzy, look after yourself! Her sleeps sound way better, I think if you can get through the day ok, at least you know you have a better night sleep waiting for you IYKWIM? (other than Becca of course!)
Dis - Jared and Ben's photo sounds super sweet, nice to have them in the same poses too - the kids sound cute calling out to Ben! You are like me, I am keeping Beau outside while it is fine...I am dreading the rain, hope it doesnt eventuate! A whole week indoors is.....eeewww! Hope Ben's hives are better - I use Hydrozole on Beau's excema when its bad, its pretty strong so I only use a bit but it works well - does it help his athletes foot? (ps how did he get that?) His train sounds awesome! We have the Ikea set (me and my simple design....) which he is starting to get into.
Anyway, the computer is hurting my head x
-
Oh oooh.. I went shopping on my own for 4 hours:)
I got Olivia a double pram for her dolls, a leap pad thingy, some bigger crocs, and I founf a clock in Kmart..... I also have books and puzzles, so shes getting a bit. AND i even made muffins, just to give her tomorrow instead of another cake!!!! I m getting domestic with all this baking......
-
Wow you are doing well Mel! (So is Olivia!) Wishing the little Princess happy birthday for tomorrow!
-
Happy birthday little MissyMoo for tomorrow!
Well today Pip's sick, I was hoping to go to the garden show by myself but not to be. And he will only sleep on our bed! Lucky it's a king!
Mel - well done on the shopping, isn't it liberating! And I've only got one - no idea how you're coping with 2, or Kris with 3 !!!!!!
Jen - good luck with the discipline, its so hard isn't it? Pip bit me really hard on Saturday and I still have the bit mark ... right on my shoulder, its quite sore too.
cya!
-
Its my moo moos birthday! I am so excited, I made banana honey and prune muffins and gave her one with 2 candles in it so she could blow it out again...think we lit the candles about 3 times!!! She loves the pram, has her dolls in it! And is wearing her new shoes with her jarmies!!!!
Hope Pip is feeling better....and yes I feel like a new woman doing all that shopping!!!!
Well got to run and enjoy this beautifiul day....
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!!!
Far out, two already!
Mel, enjoy the day! Good on you with the baking. Must be something in the air as I've made both muffins and cupcakes in the past week!
Lucky you with the shopping. I got two hours last week but it was in total so with the drive time I only had an hour in the shops. Better than nothing though!
Jen, no idea how Ben got athletes foot. It was while we were camping, but he never went into the amenities block so I don't know! It seems to have cleared up now though. We have stronger cortisone cream for when Ben gets bad eczema.
Isn't this rain horrible? I'm over it already, it just hasn't stopped at all! The boys have been driving me nuts this morning. The good news is that Craig's soccer training has been cancelled for tonight - yay!
Take care of yourself. That bad feeling/back pain could have been the precursor to the migraine. In hindsight I can always see that I felt icky on the morning before a migraine hits.
Kaz, hope Pip feels better soon.
We have a horrible rainy day here :( I was going to take the kids to a playland, but Ben was being a pest before he went down for his nap - early today he really needed it. I'm hoping he'll have a marathon nap because he had a big day yesterday playing with his cousin at my mum's.
Jared had an awesome night again. I slept SO soundly that I didn't wake up once. J went from 11pm until 6am again! I woke up before him because my boobs were hurting and leaking all over the place  I'm loving his long sleeps.
The gym is going really well. I'm finding that I can run just a little bit longer on the treadmill already. It's still just a teeny amount of time running, but it's getting a bit longer each time so I'll be able to run for a normal amount of time soon. I'm feeling really good after every session - but sometimes it's all undone on the drive home. Jared just doesn't like being in the capsule. I have to admit he looks really uncomfortable as he so big already. We've ordered a Maxi-Rider for Ben so as soon as that arrives we'll move J into Ben's seat.
Okay, I've waffled. Time to go and enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts :)
-
Oh I'm sick with the flu...i feel like crap. Just wanted some sympathy!!! Olivias birthday was great, pitty i was feeling bad in the arvo. I got a sleep in though this morning.
Ok gunna wollow in self pity
-
hey Mel hope you are feeling better today....at least the weather is crappy so you guys arent missing out on anything outside! Glad Olivia had a nice birthday. I think Beau will be getting a trike/push bike and a car garage. Has anyone seen a good car garage around? He loves the one at playgroup. And maybe a big boy bed too - before winter. I am hoping I can tuck him in better with a proper matress and he might (might) stay under the warm covers.....
Dis - Yeah a booster seat is on our list too, especially after being told by a new mum at playgroup yesterday how huge Beau is (he is the same exact size as another boy his same age there) - She then apologised later! Does this ever stop??? Glad you are getting some decent sleep and enjoying your gym sessions. I have stopped drinking alcohol, thats my big concession for fitness atm!! How over this weather are you? I just looked at the long range thingi on foxtel and its showers all next week.....AGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
-
Hi!
Happy Belated Birthday Olivia!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad she had a great day - Yeah at all those pressies!! (The boys have a Fisher Price clock)
I'm soo sorry to hear you've got the flu now! A sign you've been running around too much!! Yeah at the 4 hours of shopping on your own! Woohoo!
Mel, thanks for the offer of babysitting but I couldn't do that too you! LOL! I appreciate it though!!
Jen - Glad you had a great weekend! Bugger Beau likes donut king a bit much - LOL! Maybe try and give him a snack when you get in the centre - some cut up apple or crackers or something and he might be too distracted to notice???
Sorry to hear you've got a migraine - that sucks! Hope you're all better now!
We have had beautiful weather down here lately but I think the rains on the way! I'm thinking we may be making a few treks to some play centres over winter...
Kaz - Sorry to hear Pip's sick - Ouch on that biting! You poor thing - I hope he stops soon!!
Disgirl - Glad to hear you're going well! Yeah on the running - I usually start off by going run 1min, walk 4 then when thats easy run 2min, walk 3min and so on - that's how I build up to running for 30min straight (before kids - LOL!)
Glad the boys are sleeping well for you!!!
A reminder to Mel/Kaz if you want to come over tomorrow arvo your more than welcome - 2-4pm...it's all very casual I'm just going to have some books out and it will be a gasbag really... Let me know!!
As for us, I'm feeling much better this week! I think it must have just been hormones or something! I went shopping last night and bought up at Esprit!! Omg - spent way to much but I have such nice clothes - I've never done such a big (or expensive!) shopping trip for myself...so nice!!
Dh is away for the weekend and I've got a huge one! Everyone coming around tomorrow arvo for my Book Look and then I have girlfriends coming over for a SATC movie night and drinks and sleepover!! About 5 of them so it will be so much fun! Then Sun is my niece's 10th b'day party and then I'm maybe babysitting for Cindy Sun night...So...probably won't chat until Monday! LOL!
Dh told me he's got 10 days off over Easter though so that will be sooo nice!
Boys are well - Ethans hardly slept all day yesterday and was hard to settle last night but he then slept from about 9pm - 7.30am! No complaints there! LOL!
Dylans just so gorgeous - he's counting to 20 and starting to recognise some letter and numbers. He's talking sooo much!! (although you usually need to be mum or dad to understand him sometimes! LOL) B'day presents I'm struggling with - I got him a little dinosaur, big finding nemo floor puzzle, star stickers for the ceiling and a dinosaur book....beyond that I'm stuck...Might just have to be a little birthday - mind you - he's having a party so he's going to get lots of presents then as well...
Louis is well - he's just so grown up...and so clever! He's usually explaining things to me now!! LOL!
Ok...better go and get some stuff done! Chat later!
-
Hi girls, we had a shocker here last night. I've had two and a half hours sleep! Just popped in to let you all know we're still alive and (relatively) well :)
-
Hello. well I'm still sick, but much better than last week. Just a head cold now. The girls are good, although Olivias sleep has been topsy tervy over the past few nights, with a few tanties in the wee hours all because I wont sleep on the floor next to her. Beccas sleep has also been sque-if....shes been very unsettled and the other night she took a good hour to settle. She is not a crying baby, but she cried and sobbed for the whole time, I have no idea why, but I eventually got her to sleep by holding her so tight to me. She was sooky all yesterday too. She doesnt like it when we leave her. At least last night was the best sleep shes had in ages. Actually last night was the best sleep I had in ages too.
Well I got a cross trainer off ebay and it fits in the corner of the lounge. Its a bit loud, but it does the job and I have already lost 1 kg by doing exercise. We dont eat bad, I just dont exercise.
Anyhow, hope everyone is doing well. We are off camping for easter, up at halls gap, which is about 4 hours drive. Not looking forward to the drive and have some reservations about going... with sterilizing bottles, with night feeds, with Olivia sleeping.....oh its doing my head in, but I have to just do it!
Ok got to run
-
Hey alL,
Phew been busy here today so I am relaxing while B is sleeping - we mowed the lawn and swept up all around the house and have been washing yada yada yada:p
Must be something in the air, Beau missed a sleep on Sunday and has been up so so early since daylight saving ended, he has been a bit happier however and the naughty step seems to be helping (thanks Kris)
We have my BIL and SIL and there kids over this weekend (they invited themselves) and we are off to my bro's house to house sit all next week - lots of nice stores and cafes and things in there area (Northern Beaches) I just wish I had some cash
Dis - Sorry you had a bad night, hope you and the boys are ok!
Mel - You are pretty brave going camping so good on you for that, I am sure you will have fun and I am sure Becca will ove all the fresh air and new sights - who knows, you might get some good sleeps in if Olivia is exhausted from all the exploring....at least you will have Dh right there...mine is going to be on our boat all easter I think!
Kris - Good on you for spending up! With three little boys, mum should be the princess! Enjoy your 10 days with DH over easter - hope you guys have a great time.
Anyway - have to go and change the beds xxx
-
Well a much better night last night so I feel sane again today :)
Jen, DS ending has buggered us up a bit too. Ben is now getting up at 6:30 again which really sucks when Jared goes back to sleep at 5:45! Oh well, hopefully he'll adjust slowly.
Mel, camping probably won't be that bad. I've been camping for the past two Chrissy's. Ben was 8 months last year and 20 months this year, with a very pregnant mummy. I admit though, we didn't have to worry about formula and stuff so that made it easier. This coming year I'll have two toddlers, now THAT will be interesting!
Hi to everybody else. I'm a bit short of time and want to get dinner in the slow cooker and maybe a nap. Wonder of wonders, both boys are asleep at the same time. Don't know how long that will last though!
Jared moved into his cot last night. No hassles. He was too big for his bassinette. LIterally touched it with his feet and head at either end - oops! I was not ready to move him out of our room though. Got him weighed and measured this morning and it's official - he's a boofa. Weighed in at an amazing 7.3kgs which is what Ben weighed at 4.5months. Jared is barely 2.5 months. Even Ben calls him "Chunk" now
Take care all!
-
Where is everybody? It's been almost a week since anybody posted?
Ben and I have colds :( It's only Ben's second ever cold - and the last one only lasted a day. This one seems much worse and the poor little guy isn't coping too well. He's like his father  Hopefully he'll be better by the weekend. We're having his birthday party at The Train Shed where the kids can have rides on Thomas and his friends. Ben's going to LOVE it :)
J has been fantastic. We've had a really busy weekend with family commitments every day except today. He's been passed around like a footy, in and out of the car a million times and he's been great. We changed him from his capsule to a convertable rear-facing seat and he is MUCH happier in the car. It's no wonder he wasn't comfy in the capsule, there isn't much padding and they're only designed for bubs up to 8kgs - when I weighed him on the Wii Fit this morning he was 7.8kgs! Far out! He's sleeping heaps at the moment too so mummy is getting some rest.
Craig has been home all weekend and although he is working again tonight, he has the next week and a half off which will be fabulous. He's planning on pulling our pool out at long last, but at least if I have a bad day he'll be here to help out a bit. :)
Hope you all had a happy Easter!
-
Hey all...happy easter!
We are at my brothers house in Sydney dog sitting - it is full on - they have a new cavoodle puppy and we have my mums dog here too (ours are with my BIL) and Beau is very rambunctous with them both, they arent as tame as our Jack Russels either - with watching him like a hawk and making sure he isnt breaking anything or opening cupboards with no child protection it is going to be a long week!
Dis - that sounds great, DH having some time off, Sorry Ben has the flu, Beau seems to get it when he is teething - maybe thats the culprit? Jared sounds like a little champ coping with your social schedule! Is the Wii fit good? My brother has digital scales here and I weighed myself before and I am back up almost to the weight I was when about 7months with Beau - v v v v v v v v depressed:cry:
Anyway, clearly I have eaten way to much chocolate and easter buns - DH just told me I am one hot muma so I am focusing on that! Here is hoping it doesnt rain too much in Sydney so we can get out exploring all the nice homes around here and be inspired for our renos!
Hope everyone is well!
-
Ahhhh Jen, sounds lovely, should be fun with the child-proofing etc!
DG - J sounds like a champ. Must say, poor B with his cold, although his b/day party sounds amazing!!! Hope he's well for it.
I haven't even planned Pip's b'day yet, am thinking a bbq somewhere neutral. Maybe Jells Park? Dunno, will check it out tomorrow @ work.
Have a good day all.
-
Hello all. I am waiting for my 6th load of washing to finish so I can hang it out and go to bed. We just got back from 4 days of camping at Halls Gap in the Grampians. It was fantastic. We went with a girl from mothers group and her husband and 2 year old daughter. Olivia had a ball and slept fantastically!!! On the first day she got bitten by a European Wasp on her cheek....so it was all a bit scary, then when we were hiking down to the water fall, I slipped down about 4 steps with Rebecca on my front pack and jarred my shoulders and twisted my ankle!!! I just cried. I was so scared that she was hurt...but she was fine! Other than that, it was great, even the issue with the bottles wasnt too bad. We decided not to bother with sterilizing for that time as she was rolling in the dirt anyhow! We cleaned bottles and boiled water.
Adam and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary yesterday. We sat infront of the camp fire and drank a bottle of wine we got from germany 3 years ago and ate chocolate and looked at the stars. It was realy nice.
Other than that, our colds are almost gone. Dh is going away for work, just over night though, he will be back on Wednesday, thats why I am trying to get everything done tonight....ok....washing is ready, hope you are all well
-
Hey Mel, where did you stay in Halls Gap? We left there on Tuesday morning, was staying in Grampian Gardens, they were marking out an additional 200+ sites, apparently all fully booked too!
Hope the ankle's OK, and you didn't hurt yourself too much *hugs*
-
Hey Kaz, not sure what the camp site was called, but it was just near the swimming pool. We had a fantastic time there and have rebooked for next Easter. I cant believe how much washing it generated though!
Ankle is fine, think I just got a fright!
-
Mel, I was the same with washing after camping over Chrissy :) At least you guys have nice weather for drying. It's been rain, rain, rain here. Today is looking hopeful - fingers crossed!
How's the ankle? Sounds like you guys had a great time.
Jen, bugger about the weight :( As long as your DH thinks you're a hot mumma it's all good though isn't it? It's so hard to find time for yourself though to get healthy.
I LOVE the Wii Fit! It's so fun and you can really work up a sweat too. Craig likes the balance games best but I like the step classes, especially step-boxing :) Hula hooping is hilarious! We were playing that with my SIL, FIL and the kidlets and we were all in stitches :)
Kaz, Good luck organising Pip's party. I was so hopeless, we only organised it on Sunday! We were lucky they could still take our booking. We've been to the Train Shed before for a nephews birthday. It's good because they only charge you a small fee for BBQ gas and you pay for train rides and that's it! I'm really excited about it, I just hope we get over our colds before then :(
Yep, still sick. Ben had a really bad night last night. Up nearly every hour. I think he kept getting scared because his nose is all stuffy. I'm feeling worse too, but J seems fine so far - fingers crossed he stays well.
Gotta go, J is asking for sleep :)
-
Well I put on the 7th load this morning and I am so lucky it was nice hot wind. I have got all of it inside and packed away:) The ankle is fine, just my shoulder....I must have jarred it grabbing onto the rails!
Hope youre feeling better soon Mel. I was sick with the flu/cold for 2 weeks and I am still really snotty. The girls are snot machines too. Olivia likes to pick her nose now and looks for "ooga boogas"....oooppss. maybe we shouldnt have taught her that one!!!!
So whos birthday is next??? Is it Bens or Pips? I still cant beileve Olivia is 2. You know what....and i am saying this touching wood but, I think she has calmed down a bit with her tantrums, I mean they still happen but not as frequently. I think it has a lot to do with her speech as she is articulating a lot better and all of the sudden.
Oh and after being stung by a wasp, she now is frightened of most flying things. Poor little girl. I dont blame her. She was so brave.
-
Mel, I think Ben and Dylan are next. Their birthday is on Monday :)
-
Beau wont sleep here at all in the day - this is day three with no day sleep, he is in there (my nephew's room) wailing now and has been for 20min.......:wall:
-
Hugs Jen- we went through the same thing with Olivia. She usually doesnt have a day sleep any more, although shes passed out on my bed right now!!! If she sleeps for too long she wont be asleep till about 11pm tonight. If she goes without her day sleep she will be in bed anywhere from 530 to 8pm at the latest. Its hard when they want to start dropping it. I suppose just see how he goes.
Rebecca has started rolling from her tummy to her back...yay. Now when she gets stuck on her tummy, hopefully she wont scream for me!
-
Oh Jen, you poor thing. Ben is only sleeping for an hour or two at night right now because he's waking up coughing and it's driving me nuts  I'm used to super long sleeps from him during the day.
We're all still feeling like crap. I think I can say that Jared officially has a cold now :( Ben didn't get his first one until he was 21 months old and poor little J already has his first one at not quite 3 months :( He's still such a smiley little thing though.
-
Mel, Pip's settling down with his tanties now too, last night he was calling out for milk, only started crying when we didn't appear for a few minutes. And then he cried the night before and stopped when I got into his room, he told me he wanted milk again, stopped crying!
Oh no, dropping day sleeps? But its good when he sleeps, when do they usually do it?
Still haven't really 'organised' Pip's party, although looks like we're having it at his aunt's house, she has it set up for parties just fine. Pip still loves his moon (it's Badrad's moon!) and lots of singing "twinkle twinkle" too. Aren't they cute now they are talking?
-
Kaz, they're adorable! I'm also loving that they can follow instructions. It's so handy to have Ben do stuff for me while I'm feeding Jared.
Still all sick here :( Ben and I are definitely on the mend though. Craig is getting it and Jared seems about the same, so hopefully this is the worst of it for him.
Really looking forward to Ben's party on Sunday now. It's supposed to be showery, but I'm hoping they are as wrong as they usually are about such things!
-
Hi!
Long time no post! Hope you all had a great Easter!
We had Dylan's b'day party today which was great! We gave him his pressies as well even though his actual b'day isn't until Monday...He had such a great day!! We had a "cars" party and had a pinata and big foil helium balloons and I Made a bit double storey cake which was huge!!! Was all lots of fun with family around as well!
Boys are well...I really am such a lucky mum!! Had a bit of a time with Ethan last week with him being sick but he seems to be on the mend now and sleeping a lot better...also seems to be getting to sleep a lot easier without rocking him like crazy which is good!!
Disgirl - Wow on bubs being so big!! Ethan was only 6kg at 4 months! LOL! At least you know he's growing well! LOL! Hope you guys are all feeling a bit better now!!
Jen - I'm with you with eating too much choccy & buns! LOL! We've also had so many bbq's and parties lately...I'm lucky I'm bfing as it's the only thing keeping the weight off at the moment...I always tend to put on a kg or 2 over winter as well...hmm...I might really need to start scheduling in some exercise! LOL!
Mel - So glad you had a great holiday!! Good on you for going camping! Congratulations on your anniversary - sounds like a very romantic celebration! Sorry to hear about your fall - I can only imagine the fright you got!!
Hi to everyone else...I must go and get some stuff done before I fall into bed!
Chat later!
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN AND BEN.... hope you boys have a fantastic day.
-
Yay Ben and Dylan!!! Happy No 2!!!
-
Thanks guys!! We had a birthday surprise of one of Dylans eye teeth popping through! The other one is not far behind and two more at the bottom look like they're getting closer as well...
Happy Birthday Ben!!
Hi to everyone else!!
-
Hey All.....
Nothing much going on around here....Beau has settled back into his day sleeps now we are home from my brothers, he has taken to waking REALLY early though, like 4am-5am:rolleyes: We had friends over this weekend, they have a boy Beau's age and a baby girl, 4months. It was lovely getting lots of cuddles in as she is the most settled baby I have ever seen! Didnt even cry once the whole weekend! Very chilled indeed.
Beau is popping out new words all the time which is fun, yesterday it was "Eyebrow" - some of the words are so cute that I prompt him to say them just so I can hear, like 'butterfly" and "bubbles".... I had a lady I work for over yesterday to plan for windows/design the baby clothes/store layout stuff while Beau was here of course....lets say it was interesting!! I am going to there place on Friday to finish off....I told her it would be unproductive with Beau here but some people know best:D I paid for it after she left as he was paying me back for zero attention, got all our solar lights out of the garden bed and through them on the concrete little bugger!!
Hope Ben and Dylan had great birthdays, lucky Dylan popping through some teeth! I am sure he got loads of pressies too Kris knowing you! Who is up next for birthdays? I think we are having a low key bbq here with the Grandparents for Beau next month
OK, better go and get dressed and get out somewhere with this boy, hope everyone is well.
-
HEy all,
We had a crappy night with Becca, she ended up in our bed from 3am. Anyway shes fine now!!! Olivia is still asleep and has slept through. She went to mums yesterday so I think 3 flights of stairs have tired her out. She actually took a tumble down them and banged her head and then she slipped in the bath and hit the other side!!!
Jen isnt it nice with all the new words.....unfortunately mine parrots everything, including when I said "for f's sake'....now she says it all the time, but I told her its "oh cake cake"...seem to work. Then yesterday my brother dropped the f word and she said it right back. Oh no!!! I have to change my ferral habbit.
I chopped my hair off yesterday, about 6 inches worth. Its sitting on my shoulders now. At least Rebecca isnt pulling it. I have so mch book work to do, looks like I will be up half the night tonight, as the book keeper is coming tomorrow to do the BAS. I just have been so busy with the girls, being sick for ages, going away....sleepless nights!!! Anyway, am off to an indoor play centre today for mothers group. Finally get to meet the new addition to our group, a little boy named Isaac.
Ok breaky time...oh has anyone heard from Kel??? I'm not sure if Lil has had her birthday or Pip is next.
Tale care
-
Hi!
Jen - Bugger at the early wake ups! My boys are up a bit earlier at the moment - around 6.30-7am but bubs was up at 5.40am today- grrr! I agree with all the words also - Dylan was sitting at the table the other day crossing his arms going "I'm very cross" and we just laughed so much and he got all cranky and then looks at us and goes "not funny guys" needless to say we laughed a whole lot more and then he joined in! LOL! so cute. I also love the singing and dancing - everything about this age - this is what I love about having kids!!! I could easily skip the baby part - LOL!!!
I actually didn't do much for pressies at all - we have so much already I didn't really know what to get - he got a big floor puzzle of finding nemo (which he can do in a flash already!) some other little puzzles and a gorgeous little dinosaur that are new out at the shops - so cute! He got quite a bit from family though as well so he was more than happy - he's really not that fussed about pressies I must say...
Mel - Have fun heading out today! Yeah at getting a hair cut - I need one desperately! Poor Olivia falling down the stairs and falling in the bath - Hope she's ok!! LOL at her copying the swearing...Dylan says s**t but in a way that luckily no-one really picks up on! LOL!
Hmm - Was thinking we haven't heard from Kel for a while - Hope everythings ok!
Better run and finish getting them brekky...Chat later!

Hey All...
Wow Beau is really pushing my buttons today! I thought we would stay home and do some gardening together - mistake! Throwing the sensor lights, squeezing the dogs around the eyes, picking up dog poo....you name it! I gave him a few taps on the nappy as he had already been on the naughty step and I was so frustrated! Not that they can feel it through the nappy I guess....how is everyone else going with discipline?
Mel - Sorry to hear Olivia had a few bumps! Stairs are such a novelty at the moment arent they? (when you dont have the at home) I got a scare at the park the other day cause Beau landed on his arm off the big slippery dip, its back to holding my hand for a while on that! Good on you getting your hair chopped! Oops at Olivia parroting certain words.....I guess having babies cleans up our speech!
Kris-Ummm Dylan sounds like he is 20 years old! Not two! Hilarious! Yeah I think they get so much just regularly, toy wise, aswell, like Beau has a new obsession with cars and I cant wait to keep them for next month so he got them yesterday - I am hopeless! But you know, whatever keeps them happy for a while sometimes!
I have to go to the lady I do work for occaisonally house tomorrow to finish the planning we started on Tuesday, DH is having the day off to care for the dog poo handler!! Good luck!!

Hi guys :) Sorry, no personals today, we're just back from the hospital and I'm a bit short on time.
Sunday at Ben's party, Jared took a turn for the worse so we headed off to emergency, cutting poor Ben's party short. We were sent to a different hospital with a referral for immediate attention, which we almost got  After the pead saw Jared he was admitted right away and put on a special new oxygen machine thingy that they're trialling to replace 'head boxes' (those humidified crib thingys). So that was Sunday... yesterday he was taken off that machine and put on normal oxygen and he came off that last night. He's done really well to recover from the illness (RVS virus which lead to Bronchialitis (sp) ) so quickly, the doctors were rather impressed. He was really ill on Sunday and Monday but the oxygen machine did the trick. The doc also said that he recovered sooner because he was being breastfed and because he was such a big boy for three months - I knew his chunkiness would come in handy some day
Anyway, we're home now. Ben finally got to open up his pressies after his party was called off as soon as the cake was cut - poor boy! I spent my first night away from Ben the night before his birthday, so he woke up without me for only the second time on his birthday! The first time he woke up without me was when Jared was born.
BTW, Craig did a fantastic job while I was gone! I came home to a tidy house and laundry almost up to date! I'm just happy he didn't attempt to do the ironing, that could have ended badly

Oh Mel hon am so glad that hes ok, poor little mite. Wow it must have been scary. Hope Ben evetually had a good time and enjoyed his birthday. How did you hold up?
Jen- hugs to you too...I HATE dog poo, especially when its in their hands! Olivias been climbing mums stairs sice she could...around 10 months old and shes quite competant. I think she was actually holding things in her hands. Shes ok though. Tough little tacker.
Kris- still have to catch up with you, times going so quick. Last time we saw each other we were pregnant!
The girls went to occassional care for 3 hours this morning. OLivia wasnt to impressed, but managed. I got lots done, I have clean floors!
kel and kaz....where r u?
