Kel - congrats! how exciting!! My friend had a baby on Sat morning - Maggie Belle - I went in to see here and she is so small - I forgot they pop out that small - she's 7 pounds so average size but it scared me how tiny she was! I'm used to my big bruiser now!

Oh Mads that is so so cute oyu should put it on Youtube. I havebeen trying to teach Dylan to wave but no luck yet he can do a high 5 and can almost clap though.
Everything is going okay here. Every night is different with Cooper. Yesterday he slept straight through until 5.40 am. This morning he only made it to 4.30 am (quite common these days) but then he would not go back to sleep!
He's down for his first nap of the day now – went down at 7.30 am! He might end up having 3 naps today now. Who knows. Big nap though - nearly 2 hours now.
Otherwise he's just great. Eating is okaaaaay. Could be better! He gets a bit cranky at dinner time and won't eat properly but as soon as I offer him fruit and yoghurt he just scoffs it down. Breakfast seems to be the easiest meal of the day.
He's also breastfeeding normally again – taking both sides and not pulling off at let-down. Thank goodness! It was getting messy!
He's standing up on everything now. He doesn't even need anything to grab onto (ie he can stand up at a glass door). We were at a friend's house yesterday and he actually climbed over this big toy truck! Then he tried to get his leg up onto a seat! He's going to be very mischievous I think.
baiza – Hey there! Sounds like your business is booming! Congrats.
kmh – Wow first tooth and clapping hands! What a big day. I think it's adorable when they clap hands.
Mads – OMG that video is just TOOOOOOOO cute! What a cute wave and how clever say hello. I can't get over it! Cooper learned how to wave ages ago but only did it a few times. We're trying to re-teach him. As for saying "hello" – woweeee!!! Cooper babbles a lot but doesn't really say any clear words. You should definitely put it on You Tube!
I love the photo in your ticker. Just beautiful!
Fraser – Is Charlie still waking a lot in the night? He's looking like such a little man in your ticker.
Just got back from the MCHN, as Charlotte lost weight last week, and again she has lost another 65 grams this week, so we are off to see the pead this thursday. Hopefully they can tell me whats up with her.
My HN also said that I can give Charlotte banana for breaky, lunch and dinner if I have too, as its the only thing she will eat.
Mads- that video is soooo cute. Freya is beautiful.
Fee- wow 4:30am is way too early for getting up, have you tried pushing back Coopers bed time.
oh Fee that's so cute when Cooper puts his head down on the box - what a clever boy with the walking!!! he's getting very very good at it!
Kel - I hope you can find out what's going on with Charlotte - good luck on Thursday
Cassie - We've been trying to teach Charlie to wave too - but at the moment all he does is this sort of 'oh no you didn't' hand wiggle - like some of the chicks on Jerry Springer or something!
Kel - lots of hugs to you and bubby Dont panick darling, the pead will get to the bottom of it...some bubs are just very fussy eaters..it will be fine im sure.. and in the meantime, big hugs to you both and positive food vibes xoxo
Fee - Cooper is a little star with his walking!! Georgia is pulling herself up on everything, and walking along the couch edges etc, but i have not tried to let her get up on anything that moves! Great idea, I might try the huggies box too!! Was the one he was pushing full or empty? I think Georgia would crash if it was empty!
We have has four great almost full nights sleep!! Georgia has only been waking for one early morning feed at about 6am, then shes back off to sleep for another hour or so...then up again for breaky and a play, then off to bed again at about 9am...four around an hour and a half.. then 2pm nap for about an hour... then bed at 7pm.... this routine seems to be working for us 'at the moment'...
Mads- Still cant get over that 'awwwow' and the waving!! So cute!!
Fee - couldnt get motivated in the Gym! I was sooo tired... this new little bubby in my belly is making me sooooooooo tired! I could fall asleep at a seconds notice... gee i forgot how it makes you so sleepy being preggers.... !!
Well, in preperation for the new baby, we thought we would start setting up Georgias 'big girl' bed!! HAHAAA! So funny, cos shes still so little!! But by the time the new bubs is out of the bassinette and needing the cot, Georgia will be around 17 months old...so i hope shes ready by then! Anyway, bought a beautiful timber bed, and tall boy, and i spent today setting up her bookshelf and stuff..was fun... premature, but fun none the less!!
Apart from that, im totally stuffed, so im off to bed for an early night!
kmh – Yeah I've tried putting Cooper's bed time back a bit but he still usually wakes early. Doesn't make a difference. 4.30 am is definitely too early to get up but hopefully this morning was a one-off and if he does wake at the same time tomorrow for a feed he will go back to sleep after.
Sorry to hear Charlotte has lost more weight. I know you must be feeling bad. My friend is going through the same thing with her DS. She had to take him for blood tests today.
carlys – It's an empty Huggies box. He loves it and picks it up and turns it over and over again. Then yesterday was when he started pushing it along by walking.
Sounds like fun setting up all the big girl furniture – even if it is early!
We are good I have a cold but apart from that all is well with us. Dylan has slept through four times in the last fortnight which is a big improvement for him and he is having longer day naps sometimes (as I type this I can hear him stirring after only 45 minutes grrrr) but mostly his day naps are better. He usually has about an hour and a half for morning nap and the same after lunch and only some days needs that afternoon power nap. He is still doing the commando but is very good at it and quite quick. He has started to become interested in pulling himself up on things but has yet to master this and he has managed to sit up from tummy a couple of times but I have missed it so not sure quite how he is doing it. He can nearly do this He is still having four milk feeds a day but from 9 months I am going to drop the overnight feed which will be tough but hopefully will help him sleep through more often. He still loves his solids and is having many different finger food and mashed stuff now not pureed. Gee they grow up so quickly.
Carly How exciting for you getting prepared for your new bub and getting Georgia's 'big girl' stuff ready wait til she is really aware of it she will super excited to be a big girl.
Kel Sorry to hear Chalrotte has lost weight you are doing all the right things I am sure the paed will help you and work out with it going on with her.
Fee Gee 4.30 that must be hard for you I can barely stand to be getting up before 7am. It is so cute in the second video where Cooper has a little rest and then starts again what a cutie.
Fraser Love your new ticker pic Charlie is such a cutie and looking quite blond. I love the oh no your didn't hand wiggle that Charlie is doing you should get it on video.
Baiza Good to hear things are going well with you.
Our Sorrento renos are still happening slowly and it is driving me mad I just want my hubby back and I want to be able to buy a house and we can't so that until is finished waaaaa! On a more positive note Dylan is moving into his own room. We live in a rented two bedroom flat and the second bedroom is full (I am in there now) of guitar and amp equipment, tools, papers, the computer, stereo, etc and has crap dirty carpet and the paint is flaking off the walls, anyway we discussed it and we are moving all the stuff out and distributing some of it to other parts of the flat and some in storage and the landlord has very kindly agreed to put new carpet in and paint the room so Dylan will have a nursery at long last, it is very much long overdue. It means we can stay here longer as I had started to look at renting another place but it is all too expensive so I guess we will be here til we buy something.
Not much happening here. Charlotte is still not srawling, but rolling all over the loundroom, I went into the kitchen and came back to check on her and I could not find her, she was nearly in our bedroom.
We are off to see the pead in the morning, I will let you all know how we get on. We have a busy day tomorrow, Pead in the morning, going to my BIL tomorrow after lunch to drop off some baby things for my SIL, and so i can have a cuddle of Olivia, and then off to my MIL for dinner.
Cassie- We have been meaning to take Madison and Charlotte to the zoo. I love the pics.
Mads- Hope you have a wonderful time away.
Carls- A big girl bed already, Madison was in hers, when we had Charlotte, Madison was 20 months, She was great when she went into her bed.
Well, I will talk to you either tomorrow night or Firday.
