We had immunisations today. It wasn't too bad though Lily did cry for a while. She has been pretty good since- sleeping more than normal, which isn't a bad thing! She's in bed now and will hopefully stay there until 12ish. We also went to the dr today about her reflux...well I think it is anyway. The Dr wouldn't give me anything for her telling me to continue to top her up with the anti reflux formula since that seems to help her. Even though I told her that I wanted to try to exclusively bf again. Stupid woman. I'm going to try to find another Dr. She did give me some motilium, but only after I convinced her I had been on it in hospital to help with my milk then. She kept on telling me it was an anti nausia drug. I know it is but it also increases prolactin....I knew more than her. I told her I was going to get some herbs to help too (fenugreek and blessed thistle) and she said not to worry about that just to feed her more. I know I need to feed her more but I need something to feed her- I just don't have the supply at the moment. She gets too frustrated if shes sucking nothing! Did I say she's stupid?!
Krysalyss, wow on Iggy rolling! I try to show Lil how to do it but she's got no idea!! Hehehe...
Melissa, we have a similar routin here with night sleeps. Though she is usually in bed earlier and up at about 5:30ish (eeekkk!) I'm not a morning person not a 5:30 in the morning person especially!!! She'll sometimes drop off again until 8ish with me but only sometimes.
Christy, it sounds like you've settled into life with Hazel a bit more. It's tough huh? Such a huge change. I'm so used to being busy in such a different way with work and studying. I feel a bit the same with my dh at times when he's being especially lazy. They really don't have any idea how it feels to have a little person on you all day! LOL!
It sounds like you're getting a good network of friends and things to do, it helps with being at home all the time. I was getting frustrated at home and had to organise my week so that I had a few things to do, otherwise I'd go bananas!
Kaz, hello! Glad to hear things are going well. I hope it helps with your bf now Patricks tongue tie is gone. I can sympathise with the bottle feeding and breast feeding, it's not easy. Lil's the same with bf she really likes it for comfort but I'm not sure she gets all that much from me at the moment. I'm hoping the motilium works again for us. And I'm hoping that the supply continues... Lil's still having formula too, usually about 100-140mls.
Wishing everyone a great night's sleep!
Kel.
I'm jealous that he sleeps so well you lucky thing!
