Good morning. Well we had a very unsettled night. A good sleep from 7pm-midnight, quick feed, back down til 3am then she just wouldn't settle in her cot again. It was absolutely blowing a gale here, so noisy, and I think that was the problem. She eventually went back to sleep at 5.30 in our bed, but then slept til 8.45 so in all not really too bad.
Thanks Kris, I know she will be fine and it's only for an hour, but you know how it is! Got mu Bubacise class this morning, I'm very interested to see what this will entail! Will have to make sure Hazel is well fed and drive around for a vit longer so she's well rested so she's a happy girl during the class. Will we be lifting our babies like weights? I will let you know!
Kaz, great to hear from you! I'm so envious of your long sleeps! Well done for persevering with the bf despite it being so hard. A lot of people would have packed it in now, and Patrick will thank you with his good health and super brain in the long term! Hopefully things will get easier and you'll begin to really enjoy it. It's only a few weeks in to what could be a year or more of bf, so hopefully the worst is over. Where did you get the bonds t's from, I desperately need some functional but funky stuff as all my winter gear from the UK is not made to accommodate lactating boobies and baby weight!
Kellie, glad the vaccinations went well. I guess it's like everything else each baby reacts differently to them. Hopefully Hazel will be ok too when we go next week. I am pretty shocked at the ignorance of your gp. She should be much more supportive of you trying to breastfeed exclusively. I would definately find one who is more on your wavelength and who actually knows what they're talking about. I have been hearing horror stories from my sister, who is a psychologist with centrelink, about lazy and incompetent gps, especcially the bulk billers (but of course not all of them) including one who stuck a depressed teenager on antidepressants but would not book her in for counselling because it took too long to fill in the paperwork! Stick in there with the bf, I am finding the oats in the morning are great for milk supply
Morning Danni!
