    Morning Ladies,

OMG at you all getting clucky-what are you all drinking lol

We have had a bugger of a few days. These storms we are getting are really frightening the hell outta Phoebe so Ive not slept much in the last few days. My mum, bless her, is taking Phoebe for her first sleepover tonight so I can get some rest.

Its really starting to warm up too. I love now being able to put Phoebe in just a singlet and shorts and show off her chubby wubby legs and arms, so cute!!

Kris- hope your DH cousins bub stays put for a bit longer. They can do wonders with the bubs born early these days. My sis's little one was born at 26 wks and has had her hiccups but is still going strong and putting on weight. She was 669grams at birth and is now over 2.2kgs

    Hi!

Jen - You poor thing you must be exhausted!!! Doesn't sound like too much food...Dylan probably eats the equivalent of 2 jars for brekky and dinner! hehehe. I've cut out his lunch though as he just didn't want any milk!
I've decided we'll let things go for a while...it's not really fair on Louis to do the cc thing...He grew out of it all about 9 months so I'm sure I'll cope until then!! hehe.
    Have fun shopping!

Melissa - It is nice to have some rain - we still so desperately need it! Wow - your video sounds fantastic! Thanks for the well wishes.
How exciting doing a test! I wonder who will be the first p/g again?? Prob you by the sounds - hehe. Just remember - I went off the pill when Louis was 9 m and got p/g that month - so you may very well be p/g for your wedding! hehe

Tiffanny - LOL! How exciting phoebe having her first sleepover! Ooh I hope you sleep really well!!
Don't the kids just look so cute in not much!! hehe. I can't wait for it either! I love the little rolly legs!
Wow at your sisters little baby!! It really is amazing what they can do - thanks!

Not much from me...just chilling out at home and doing a bit of work...Boys are well!

Kris it is truely amazing. When I was pg with Phoebe I was admitted at 28 wks for my bp. They managed to control it for a further 3 weeks until my kidneys started to go haywire and hence I was induced. In the mean time though I had been given 4 steroid shots to help her lungs along. It truly made a difference to Phoebe once she was born as she needed no assisstance breathing also having a natural birth at 31 weeks helped push the fluid from her lungs. SHe spent a total of 5 weeks in hospital. Compare that to my sister who had her DS at 30 weeks, he was on CPAP and had problems breathing and spent 8 weeks in hospital and now with her DD she has been in for 9 weeks or so now and no where near ready to come home.

Wow! I know they've been giving her the steroid injections so sounds like it will make a big difference!! Right now no news is good news because it means bub is still in tum!

Hi all, again I've been a bit busy...still not liking it up here much anymore, but we will push through a bit longer. We have pd of our 2 c/c & almost DH car - so we are doing this for a reason I suppose.

Wow on you guys getting clucky...as for me NO THANKS, LOL. Just enjoying the new things Charlie does each day & taking it one step at a time. Also need to get myself back into shape before I fall pregnant again, so could be a while (I've been eating way too much chocolate, I do that when I'm feeling down).

Charlie's 2 bottom teeth have cut through, one yesterday & the other today, wow I can't believe it. That explains the horrible sleepless week we had just recently. The poor bubs prob would have been fine with some teething gel, but we were away & not near a chemist & I didn't realise he was teething...poor bubs. He's only up to solids twice a day, arvo & night. And bugger me since that he has slept all through the night & not just a once off, the past 4nights in a row. YIPEEEEEEEEEEE!! & also only up between 7-8am. Charlie had his needles today & didn't even cry, I was most impressed. I just bought a walker for Charlie & am very peeved, as they sent the wrong one & now am being told the one I wanted is not in stock, arrrrrgh!

Kellie - Charlie does the same thing with his rolling & it gets extremely frustrating at times. That's why I've bought the walker/rocker. He seems to like being up right & banging toys, he gets too frustrated left on the ground now.

Hope eveyone else is well, got to go & finish the mega loads of washing I haven't done in forever.

    Oh my god Mel!
I havn't filled my prescription FOR the pill yet - let alone going OFF it!! You are hilarious!
Thats so great with Olivia's sleeping - and the fact she is doing that with the dummy might see me put off my plans to get rid of it...I am so over the pop ins!

Look at my pic of Dylan - he's so nearly crawling - getting up there and moving backwards all around the room (well until he hits a couch!) I can't believe it!

Erin - Wow on the toothy pegs - Thats great! Bugger that your not enjoying where you're living - sounds like your doing really well with your money though! I've decided I'm not doing any shopping until December - I'm going to try really hard to stick to it! hehe. It's going to be tough though!

    HI girlies,

    How are you all??

We are well. We have had a pretty quiet at home day. Lily is an angel....she's such a good bubba. We has an ok sleep. I say ok cause we woke at 1 for a feed then waking every hour from 3.30. I gave her a feed at 5.30 she went back to sleep with me and slept til 8.00!!! I couldn't believe it when we woke up...she was very restless though. Then she had two really good day sleeps as well as a 40min nap. What an angel, though I could do with out the hrly wake ups.

Kristie, sorry to hear about your cousin's bub, but since you haven't said anything more, I assume things are ok for now? And about your friends baby, at least now they know what's wrong and can hopefully treat it. It must be soo hard for them. I can't believe Dylans almost crawling, Lil is still trying to figure out rolling from tum to back, though she does get up on her knees with her bum in the air...very cute!

Jen that sucks that your DH has been away. And yes...night shift are a PITA, big time. How scary with the fire too, I always get a bit jumpy when DH isn't home, but I'm only like that now Lily is here, I used to love time alone without him.
About the food, when you think about it, half a jar would probably only be two or three tbsp. That's about how much Lily has in one sitting. But she's only on one solids feed a day.
Yes I'm getting clucky again, but shhhh don't tell my hubby...No I wouldn't have another one yet anyway, I still want to have Lily all to myself. She is still the light of my life. I'll give it a year or so yet...

Mel, I hear you on not minding if you were pg. I don't think I would mind so much either, but I'd rather not to yet. I still have to go back to work so we can have another baby!!

Tiffany, lucky you having a baby free night. My DH has been nagging me to leave Lily at mums, but I just can't yet for some reason. I don't think Id sleep anyway cause I couldn't hear her next to me (her cot is in our room, right next to my side of the bed). I think for me, it'd have to be baby free until bed time, then I'll have her back!! Sleepless nights and all, LOL!

Erin, sorry to hear youre having a tough time. I hope you're feeling ok now. I can't imagine being so far from family and close friends. It must be difficult for you with no support and your DH working long days.
How brave of Charlie not crying, macho little man!! I'm not looking forward to Lil's next week
Lil was the same with her teeth. Both of hers popped out at the same time and then all of a sudden the devil baby I'd had for the past week was my little angel again! I'm thinking she might be getting some more teeth after last night's performance. That was how it started before and progressively got worse til one night Igot maybe three hours of sleep. Then her teeth popped up.

Ok gonna go after this epic...

Hello to everyone else who I have missed. I hope you and your bubbas are going well

    Hi!

Well, I had a bit of a better night - he slept from 7pm with a couple of wake ups then dummy at 11, nearly 3am, then feed at 5.20!! Wow!! Thats the longest he's gone ever! But it's kind of mucked our day up as he wasn't hungry when he woke up at 7am...so he's had solids and then a top up of milk so not sure what will happen for the rest of the day...I can't remember what I did with Louis when that was happening...

Kel - I'm glad Lily is going so well! Love the photo - she's gorgeous! Thanks..yeah I haven't heard anything more...

Having a fairly quiet day - I'm off to do a party this afternoon for a friend so that 'll be fun! Then tomorrow we're off to Melb zoo for our Oct baby buddies birthday party! Should be lots of fun! Hopefully it doesn't rain on us!

Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

    Hi All,

Oh the joy of being baby free for a night. I loved my sleep in even though I still woke up around 6am but was good to just stay in bed.

I had to have a giggle at my mum when I called her to see how bub went over night. She had been up since around 4 am coz someone woke up very playful and playing with her Pa kept her occupied for quite a while apparently. She(my mum) now knows the meaning of having a nana nap in the arvy

I missed her though, especially in the arvy coz once she was gone I just didnt know what to do with myself. Steve came home late that night too and found me pacing in the kitchen lol I was hoping for a romantic night with him but he had his dinner and went straight to bed

Erin- Yay on Charlie's teeth. I cant wait for the toothy grin.

Kris- What a clever little man Dylan is. Hehe there's no stopping him now.

Kel- It was hard to see her go and I missed her like crazy, I was itching all night to ring my folks just to see if she was OK. They only live across the road- mum thinks its kinda sad lol It was a test run also coz in a couple of weeks I have to have my wisdoms out and she will be looking after bub as Steve cant get time off. So I bit the bullet and let her outta my sight for the night.

    Hi!

What a gorgeous day in Melb today! I'm buggered - we've been at the zoo all day. Louis loved it though and Dylan was really good considering he's been in the car/pram all day!

Tiffanny - Yeah - so glad you enjoyed your time - I can totally relate to not knowing what to do with yourself and pacing the floor - I've done that before! hehe. Even if I don't have 1 bubba now I feel a bit lost! hehe. Bugger at having to have your wisdom teeth out!

    hey ho everyone!

Been a bit busy here (as has everyone else). But looks like everyone's keeping well, so thank goodness for that.

Good news is that we've now moved "upstairs" and Pip is sleeping in the puter room - so I guess I'll actually be able to use the puter again!

Milestones: Last friday, first tooth broke through the gum at the front - he now has 2 teeth. Then on Saturday he rolled over! Now I wish he'd stop rolling as I need to babyproof everything!

Kris - great day yesterday wasn't it! Shame I missed it, with the tidying and all. YAY on the zoo, did Dylan appreciate it at all?

Melissa - yay on the sleeping through! Pip's been sleeping through for ages, but I wish he'd sleep from earlier in the evening to earlier in the morning - he's sleeping from about 11pm to 9:30am, a 7am wake-up would be heaven!

Welcome Emily! Where in Brissie are you? I'm ex-Brissie and totally miss the weather up there.

We have stopped feeding over night now which is great, but still unsure as to why he continually wakes.

    hope everyone is doing well

Just a quick one - I'll reply properly later!

Danni - Who knows?? hehehe. Dylan woke about 8-10 times overnight last night! Grrrr. Fed at 3.20am...then slept a bit better until about 6 I suppose. Needless to say I'm wrecked today but going to visit my friend and her bub in hospital...all I can say is Louis did it as well (I must do something wrong - hehehe) and he great out of it about 9 months and is an excellent sleeper now!! I'm trying not to stress out about it too much - it won't last forever!
Someone told me that bubbas think they're attached to you until they're about 9 months so can get worried when your not around and just want the comfort. So maybe that has something to do with it. Hope sleep school helps though! Thats amazing that you've stopped feeding overnight - that must feel great!
Good to hear from you though!

    Hi Everybody!

Beautiful day here - we have been up since the crack of, Beau is waking all the time at the moment so I too feel like a train wreck...I am trying to wean him from the dummy and am starting to use one muslin wrap done a bit looser as i am really sick of the cry-fest evreytime I wrap him up - he hates it!!
He is having Bonjela when he is a cranky bum so hopefully we will see some cute teeth soon - has anyone posted a pic of bubs with toothy pegs in the photo gallery?
We have a swing for him now in the backyard and he is most impressed with his new sunhat - see pic in gallery.

Solids still going really well - I am trying your method today Erin of arvo and night - if it works for charlie - maybe Beau will dig it too!!! I would kill for a sleepthru - DH says he will do any wakes ups until midnight but he never hears the baby! Or pretends not too!

Other than that we are pretty ok - has anyone tried rusks yet? they say 6months and up so beau isnt quite there yet - is it beacuse bits come off?

Welcome Emily! Hi to everyone else! Big cuddles for all us sleepless mums and hi-5's for all the well rested ones...

Oooh... Olivia just started to move. She was on her belly, with her arms up and she pushed her legs under many times, enough for her to move across the mat. How exciting. Then she just rolled. My little moo is on the move....Do you call that kind of crawling!!!!
