I give it to him in a bottle![]()
Evening all,
Just an update, Wyatt is going great. I think he is out of spurt...(fingers corssed) He's sleeping for 2-3 hrs at a time during the day, granted that is if DS doesn't wake him up. It's school holidays and DD and DS are at each other all the time. She thinks she is in charge of everybody.
Anyway it's give me a break, and I can some stuff done. Nights he's still fine that was never a problem.
Anyway DH and I are going out on a date along wit Wyatt. We have a got a GF coming to look after DD and DS for the evening, and have planned it so the kids should only be up for about an hour and half before they go to bed. So shouldn't be to much drama, but if so I have told DD to call me and will come home.
Clothes Sizing: Wyatt fitted in 00000 suits, for first 2-3 weeks, not bad for an almost 10lb baby. Then up into 0000 and I have only just changed everything over again, into 000 the are hugh on my little huffalump. (got some room to move still in them). He is now 58cm long and 5.8kg. He also hold he head up really really well CHN said for a 6 week old baby, she seemed really impressed. It's cute if you hold hishands he stands up for a few seconds, then floop onto him bum, then up again. He think's he is so clever... Males
Well I have finished doing Iron and putting clothes away. Have done dinner dished and just about to go to bed, after I out more washing in machine to do over nightish. When does the Washing ever END...
Well I hope you are coping and doing well. Everyone getting enough love? What about getting some adult time with friends?
Will chat more 2morro if I get time. I have been read all post just as you all know noe enough time to post.
Cheers
Sarah
HI all
Just a little update from me. Baxter had his follow up paed appt yesterday, paed is pleased with his progress and doesn't want to see him until he is 4 months old.
Had him weighed earlier in the week and he is now 4.150kg. Smaller than all your babies but has had two good gains in the past fortnight, 215gms and 195gms, so hopefully my little one has turned the corner.
He's in the 10th percentile for his weight, but in the 50th (57cm) for his length whih is pleasing.
Overall, going quite good, he could sleep more during the day but self settles beautifully at night time and sleeps for around 7 hours so I'll take what I an get.
Joining Weight Watchers Online this weekend to get rid of these 6kgs of pesky baby weight.

grubi - actually all medical procedures seem quite gruesome to me and i can never bear to watch, not even a blood test! did you feel a lot of pulling during your c/s? first time i felt absolutely nothing, but second time was awful - not painful, but felt like my insides were being ripped out (which i suppose they were). Hey with the swaddling, did you wrap Greer the way it said to in the article, with back rounded and feet tucked up? How do you do that? When DD is in the sling that's pretty much how she sleeps, but I don't know how to do it with swaddling.
babywrangler - dd does make all sorts of sounds before pooing, but only for a short time, except after waking up for the morning when it seems to take longer. why don't you ask your mchn about it?
sorry no time for more personals - must get to bed.
Hya girls,
have been out all day and have only just got home!!!
Russell slept through last night 7:30 - 4 am i was so impressed with my little man. he is still in 0000 day suits and 2 peices and 000 jump suits at 7 weeks.
will do personals in the morning as i just wanted to share my good news re sleep!!!
Night
Hi Mgm,
Yeah I asked her the other day, she said to give him more water cause he's constipated.
I went to the Dr today, and while we were there he was grunty and whiney and stuff and she looked at him and said "Thats not right, we'll book you into a paed".
She sent off a sample (cause I showed it to her and she agreed, it should not cause pain going out), and reduced his dose of Zantac by half.
Its a public holiday here monday, and if we can't get in early next week I have to call the Dr and she'll get him in as an emergency....
He was good tonight, it was a goodbye for one of my workmates (well, ex workmates) we all went out for dinner, he slept for the first half, then when he woke up he charmed everyone with his smile, talking and laugh (more of a gaspy breathing in thing but I'm pretty sure its him laughing), came home (hysterical in the car) had a bottle of EBM, and went to sleep very quickly....just waiting to see how he goes overnight!
Look at all you ladies up late!!!
My friend lent me the Dunstan baby language CD and It really works... if your baby is crying this isthe thing for you. It breaks the cries down into words that you can really hear. I know all to well the ow word... which means tired... hear that word, put him to bed and .... MAGICAL sleep!
Also borrow one of the baby whispera books, and have had lots of success with the sleeping too. Two recommendations from me!
