I havent been able to log on here for four days!! Not cos of my net connection, cos i cant get my bum into gear.
I had my endoscopy on monday, they took 4 biopsies and let me tell you i swear i can feel where they took them from. My stomach is so sore. It feels like i have open wounds in there, which i guess i do. I dont really know what the results are yet until i see my GP but the report says i have thickened mucous and an inflamed oesophegus/gullet which is consistent with reflux. I dont know what they will do about that. It should have corrected itself when i gave birth but it hasnt. I still get heartburn and reflux almost every day. So that whacked me out and i slept all day monday.
Tuesday DH went back to work and ever since i just dont seem to have enough hours in the day to get everything that i want to get done, done. It doesnt help that my stomach hurts so much though, which is making me more slow.
On top of all that Chardonnay has been terrible. Sunday night she kept us up all night, we barely slept.
I still have insomnia where im doing these 20 min power naps and i just feel so teary all the time. I dont think i have PND though, i think its just the insomnia which means sleep deprivation, and an unsettled baby that upsets me cos i cant fix her.
On a brighter note though, Chardonnay started smiling at me this morning. She has been smiling for awhile, but not actually directly at anyone. This morning she looked at me and smiled. Best feeling in the world. Makes it all worth it.
I cant beleive all your babies are going into 000 already. We are still fitting 0000 nicely here. She weighed 3.3kg last week.
kell- Serenitee had chronic ear infections, including several eardrum perforations, from the age of 4 mths. We were lucky to have one full week off a course of antibiotics before she got another infection. She had at least 2 courses of ab a month and in the end became immune to main ab she was always on and they had to change it. In the end she wasnt allowed off ab, she had a continual prescription until she got grommets. She got her grommets at 11mths old and has been fantastic ever since. She has had a few infections since having her grommets but the fluid just drains out now and we can usually just leave it to drain. So if you need someone to talk to about it, i have been through it and am more than happy to help out if i can.
I hope you are all well :)
Kristi :D
