LOL, LEa, maybe it's just boys?? Lily was rolling by now but nowhere near like Liam does, he rolls to get places! She was just rolling over from tum to back and back again, not moving. I could leave her in one spot and come back 5mins later and she'd still be there. With Liam I can't leave him anywhere he moves too fast already!

Kel " I cant believe that Lily is almost TWO, i remember when she turned 1 and that seems like only yesterday i was saying...just wait til she is 15months!

Thomas is a rolly man too. SO funny we have had to move him into his own room and big cot as he is just so big. i can remember that the girls were much much older before i would find them up the other end of the cot or with a leg sticking out LOL. Thomas only rolled for the first time on NYE but now rolls and gets up onto knees and elbows and trys to move...loads of face plants around here. I keep saying to DH we need to get bunks for the girls so there is some floor space in their room to play with small stuff as Tom already moves to get things to put in his mouth! He dribbles SO much it makes me sick LOL not teething just gross

MY baby starts school in 22 days.....not that im counting

Boys , the dont stop .. Nixon was up with the sparrows @ 4.30 am , when DH left to go to work he was watching tv .. i said , yea i'll be up in a minute ...

whoopsy .. it was 7 am when i got up he was playing with his train set .. I dreaded leaving the room because i didnt want to see what he had destroyed .. but everything was fine !! phew ..

he finally zonked at 11 am .. and so did gab .. but she cat naps .. so i had 20 mins to wolf down lunch before she fed again ..

2009 is the year for me to do some study .. I am soo excited , In Feb , i will be doing a CERT course in INFANT MASSAGE ... how cool is that ... I love massaging GAb and have done it since birth .. once im qulaified i can teach in mums groups, classes etc ... then after that i will do further study in NUtrition , so i can advise and promote healty eating , as im petrified that this world will turn in to the obese abyss , and its already becoming the generation of fat kids where they will die earlier than their parents ..

sounds odd to be worried about such thing , but food is soo important , and its just what im into

    Hi everyone

Tobias had his 4 month immunisation yesterday & we spent most of the night awake. I ended up feeding him at 5am to help him settle, which worked a treat, thankfully went back to sleep until 9am. Brianna was up at 8am, she came in & gave me a 5 min cuddle then asked if I could make her some breakfast, she said "mummy can you please make me some breakfast, then you can go back to sleep" sooooooooooo sweet!! So I did, until 9 LOL
I also had Tobias weighed yesterday.... 7.3kg!!!! hahaha I was a little surprised but knew he'd had a few growth spurts recently. How much are the others weighing now? Everyone thinks Tobias is 6 or 7 months old

He's started say "golly golly golly" which is cute (my niece did this too) & sometimes he mimmicks what we say & makes a sound like "I love you" or "hello" he's not saying the words but makes the sound, I keep trying to get it on video but no luck so far!

Hows everyone been with the heat? We've mainly stayed inside.

We bought Tobias' baptism suit last night, he's getting baptised on the 17th Jan. It's sooooo cute! He looks very handsome in it

So quiet on this thread, hopefully everyones too busy enjoying their babies to post!!

how cute of tobias .. gab is blowing raspberries evet chance she gets lol

atm she is weighing in a 6.5 kgs .. shes a shorty and is still in 000's .. which is great as i i dont have many 00's ..

Gabs nose is running like a tap , and she spends the whole night coughing .. and choking .. not sure whats going on . but its makes life fun when im cleaning up snot and reflux..
I found a bottle teat that Gabriella will actually take EBM from its MAM brand and "anti colic" .. yeah right .. it was only NB teat and after she had the EBM . she had the worst hiccups and farts and pain ..

DH and I are going to the centerpoint tower resturant in sydney next month and we are going the fine dining option. rather than the buffet .. so we'd like to have some time to ourselves and not have to have Gab with us ..
my mum is coming down too and is my sis , her ds and DH .. we are going down for Top Gear show .. and were taking mum to be the baby sitter !! \

better go and look after my kids .. feed them and all that ... my house is a pigsty too !!

Lea dinner sounds lovely.. just you & DH. We've had dinner there a couple of times, it's yummy! (You're talking about the revolving restaurant aren't you?) Taking grandparents as babysitters is great, we're doing that for our trip to the Gold Coast in March, we're going for 2 weeks & PIL are going at the same time as us so they can watch the kids for us while we go on the "big rides" which will be great. We've also got interconnecting rooms so they will be able to watch the kids while we check out the night life, they always offer, they love watching the kids... makes life easier for us (so handy!!)

Enjoy your trip to Sydney. Let me know if you want to catch up for a coffee (Max Brenner at Manly Wharf is a MUST LOL, just a ferry trip across the harbour), it would be lovely to meet (Only if you have spare time of course, you're prob all booked up for time!)

    Hi All...
I was getting so excited... Jorja slept through the night before last... then last night she made up for it by waking every 30-40mins... Think shes had tummy pains going on...
Haven't weighed her for a few wks...but i'd say about 6.5kgs???? Still having trouble getting milk supply up so i'm beginging to face the fact i will have to go to formula
Shes been having lots of floor time since i hurt my neck... just can't lift her without it hurting like crazy!
Lots of rasberry blowing going on here too.
I'm back to work on the 19th for 3 days a wk. She seems pretty happy with her daycare mum though. I DON"T WANT TO LEAVE HER YET!!!!

I've got her in 00's and some 0's just so the MCN will fit ok with what she's wearing.

lea - no nappy rash, still unsettled after feeding and i don't feel full at all. Will see how things go.

danielle - hope the baptism goes well.

    xx

Feeling a little hormonal at the moment... just had an OMG moment..thought i'd share.

DF is out for the night so it's just Jorja and I at home tonight. I went to put Jorja into her bed and found myself standing next to her cot with tears running down my face, watchign her laying there sleeping thinking to myself how lucky I am to have such a beautiful angel in my life. How can one little person bring about all these feelings of joy, excitement and an overhwelming feeling of love?? I could never imagine my life without my "beautiful angel girl" and can't understand how there are some people in the world who have babies and not give them all the love in the world.
Being so close to my pop who passed away more than 10 years ago... i also found myself thinking about him and how proud he would be of me. I was always his baby girl and now his baby girl has a baby girl of her own.

Oh how life changes...and i wouldn't change any of it for the world!!!
I want another one!! I LOVE THIS FEELING!!!.. now just to convince DF...LOL

    Sorry...jsut had to tell someone

Hope you all have a great weekend. xx

I'm totally the same with standing over your baby close to tears thinking of how much you love them.... & it doesn't fade as they get older, dare I say it gets stronger every day! My little girl turns 4 in April & I stare at her while she's sleeping & sneak in & give her a kiss before I go to bed every night. I also sneak into DS's bedroom & admire him but too scared to kiss him yet as I'll prob disturb him & at his age he'll prob just wake up from it unfortunately... I definately make up on the kisses during the day though!

I too wonder how parents can not love their children, especially those who hurt/kill their children.... little innocent angels.

LOL@ you wanting another baby already. I still have days (like today) when I think "lets do it!" but deep down I think I'd prefer a 3 yr age gap minimum like I had between DD & DS as I really got to enjoy DD through those 3.5yrs & she got me all to herself, I'd like to experience the same with DS. (no offence to those of you who had them close together, different strokes for different folks, I admire that you have the energy to have more than one littlie!)

I'm also not sure what the future holds for us here so another baby probably wouldn't be a wise decision atm (thats a whole other story though)

    Anyway, enjoy your night hun!

oh jenni, yes sometimes it is all just way too much....all those millions of emotions flowing and they are all so intense... Danielle, i too kiss my little ones on my way to bed, dh gets the ****s when i wake them sometimes but i just cant help myself.....sometimes i have to have a break from watching the news when there is too much stuff on about kids being hurt.... take the dog thing and the drugged 8week old and i am on over load! no news for me for a few weeks.

id love another too but the 2.4yrs break between the girls was better than the just 2 between tom and eve.... i sometimes feel guilty that eve missed out on the time being my baby.....

    Hi Lea, I'm around

I've been sick the past few days, DH actually asked me to take a HPT this morning while I was throwing up LOL (BFN... phew) I think its from the pain I get in my chest that made me vommit. I had a booking for a pelvic u/s this morning but as I was too busy vommiting I had to call & cancel because I couldn't drink the litre of water in an hour like I needed.

I have Tobias' Christening on Saturday. It's a huge thing to me as we had something traumatic happen in the family on DD's Christening day which has stopped me from even putting her Christening photos in the frames she was given... I will do it soon, I'm starting to "accept" it happened & theres nothing I can do about it but I have to "get over it" so I can enjoy Tobias' big day.

Anyway thats a whole other story.......

    I hope everyone is well

Nimah- good to see you back ... id love to see pics of Eireann now !! Gabriella is soo cute and a little character .. she is waay more smiley and giggly than DS was ..
I got the necklace from the Austrailan Breastfeeding Ass. store , its called Mothers Direct ..
it was $34.95 and looks like something E would bring home from kindy one day .. but the beads are non toxic and the necklace is tested to take 45kgs in weight , so if a bubs yanks it it wont break!! Gab loves playing with it !!

Yay on the weight loss .. we are going to wet an wild on sunday, i got a spray tan and I have a few dimples in my backside and feel a bit self concious .. i got a groovy 1piece set of togs that make me look semi decent ... just have to be brave enough to take off the litte sarong/skirt im wearing over it .. there will be all the trophy girlfriends there with pert boobs and small thighs .. and then theres me .. hmph .. i wish DH had of chosen a better venue to have the social club family day .. perhaps and glow worm tour .. at least its dark !!

    Hi girls,

I'm around too, I am keeping up with posts, but just don't have much to say I guess. And I've had a tough few weeks after chrissy and new yrs with DH working alot to cover people on holidays. BUt he's had a good few days off now and we're going on holidays in about 10days. I'm really looking forward to it, our first holiday in about 2yrs!! YAY!

Danielle, I hope you feel better today. And tobias' christening goes well!

Ok gotta go my baby girl is awake!

Hi everyone. Thanks for the well wishes. The Christening went really well... MUCH better than DD's & nothing bad happened on the day to ruin the memories of DS's day... I only wish I could erase the memories of DD's so I could only have GOOD, HAPPY memories of hers. I am trying & hopefully one day I will only think of her pretty little face on her day instead of what I currently see.

I have an u/s tomorrow on my pelvis so I'm hoping to get some answers on my recent health problems. Although I do think the pain comes more when I'm stressed or nervous (like leading up to DS's Christening), anyway I should have answers within a week. (I think I mentioned about my recent problems here.... long story short, attacks where its hard to breath, causing vommiting & has left my left arm & fingers numb for 2 days after one of the attacks).

I picked some baby carrots from our garden yesterday & pureed them for DS, he hasn't had any yet, I'll probably mix it with potato. He's had pumpkin & loves it (so did DD) so next I'll try the potato & carrot... maybe tomorrow night. I'm only giving him one solid meal a day for now as I dont think he needs anymore than that, he's a good weight LOL

Lea How was wet n wild? We are heading there in March, cant wait!!! Although I'm a tankini & boardshorts girl, my legs are way too ugly!! Hope you had a fab time

Kellie I hope you enjoy your holiday.... first one in 2 years... you certainly deserve it!!!!

Niamh Good to hear you've lost a bit of weight, I'm currently trying to lose weight too

    Hi to everyone else
