Jorja is walking everywhere now which is great because it means I don't have to carry her now. Shes getting so heavy! Looking forward to her christmas this year as she;ll have lots of fun

Pg is going well. M/S has settled and starting to enjoy it now.

    hello all !

wow this year has flown !

Xmas this year is going to be full on , we tried to keep it low key , but i guess you can never really do that with kids !

we just bought them a big bag of mega blocks and nixon will be getting a scooter and then gabbi will get pressies that i have in the cupboard already ... ( shhhh .... im re gifting from her bday she is too young to be "needing" anything so gifts that she was too little for at 12 mths , she will be getting under the tree !! my friend gave her a purse set with a toy phone and mini handbag thing , so she' ll be getting that ! ) sounds bad , but we also bought a spring free trampoline and i dont think they will know its a pressie as its not directly under the tree kwim ??

anyway i just know they will be spolied by the family , so its up to them to buy them toys

and as for the actual day and boxing day well , im stressing ... im panicing almost , with gabbi's food issues , i panic someone will feed her and i'll be dealing with the vomit and tummy cramps for the next couple of days .

im thinking about an id braclet that says "do not feed me this or that "

is that silly or overprotective ..... will telling people be enough ??

apart from that and the usual slow weight gain , Gabbi is just devine !! boy oh boy is she a lil miss !

i have to watch her with everything .. she is a climber and want up on everything and just loses it when its not going her way her words are aplenty with "iceblock" a new addition lol

heading back to the pead and dietician in Jan, so i'll be keen to see her BT to see any changes , sounds dumb but ive seen gabbi florish on her diet so im excited to see her changes in her BT !

hope everyone is coping inthe heat ... we nearly melted in 39 deg yesterday so we bought portable aircons for 3 rooms .... we all slept so well last night ! lol

    have a good day xx

    Hi all,

Well, we are going well! Except that the kids both have gastro today....ick! Liam is getting waaayyy too big, waaayyyy too fast! I can't believe he's the same age Lily was when I had him. 16mths.....wow!
He is such a character and has discovered that he can make us laugh by making funny faces. Little clown he is. He's such a cack!
He is into everything and follows Lily like a little puppy. He absolutely adores her and would follow her to the ends of the earth! He is a climber too and I find him in the most ehart stopping positions at times! On the dining table, standing on the edge of the toilet, standing on his little bike like evil knevil. Keeps me on my toes that's for sure!
He is getting teeth like no tomorrow, no sooner does one pop through than he's getting another. But he's sleeping through the night sporadically and he is in his cot full time now too. I will be movinghim into his big boy bed soon, over chrissy when I have holidays and while DH is home on holidays too. Both kids are going to be moved out of our room and into their own! We have just brought a portable air con too, Lea! For their bedroom because it's like a sauna in there on hot days. IT gets the full arvo sun and gets waaayyy too hot to sleep in there without an aircon.

Ok gotta go and change a pooey nappy........oh the joys!

Welcome Mrs S! Nice to 'see' a new face

Well, my baby is not so little anymore either! He's growing wayyy too fast for my liking. He's starting to talk sooo much and is parroting so much. He is such a daredevil too and does not stop. When we are out I am constantly chasing him. The other day we went to the kids preschool chrissy party and Liam was stealing people's food and after santa came he was taking everyone's books the got! But he was sooo cute singing and dancing and when he saw santa, he practically stood on top of him waiting for his turn, lol!
Ok that's it for now. I hope everyone is well.

Hi & welcome Mrs S Claire shares the exact same birth date as my daughter Brianna!!!! It's a beautiful age isn't it, is Claire starting school next year? Brianna is

Kellie haha @ Liam loving Santa... Tobias didnt mind him but wasn't too keen sitting on his lap. I guess I should be happy he "sits" there for the photo as I've seen alot of children scream & not go near him, at least I've been able to get the anual pic with Santa Brianna on the other hand LOVES him & was just like Liam... has done from the start!

Tobias isn't really talking alot. He seems to have gone backwards a little to be honest. I'm not worried as since June we have moved to QLD, then moved back & stayed with XH until we found a place to live & have now (only a week ago) moved into our new place... I've been told that "big changes" like moving house etc can set them back a little. He's more grunts when he wants to say something, like he'll point to the tree & grunt. When he sees something he loves, like animals or xmas lights he does a little chirp very cute. I'm guessing his words will start to take off in the next couple of months.

So I absolutely LOVE my new place, it felt like home from day one which is always a great sign We've got a "3rd room" so to speak which is for storage but is quite large & I'm setting it up as a games room for the kids as the lounge room is very small & not much room for toys. I have to buy a safety gate now so I can put Tobias in there safely (you have to climb up about a metre to get in the room) Tobias has already learnt to push one of his chairs over & climb up into the room that way so the door stays closed until they're supervised or the safety gate is installed. I must take a photo of him climbing into the room, its quite funny & actually surprised me when I was in there sorting things & turned around to find Tobias at my feet!!!!

I'm going to the Gold Coast next Sat until the 2nd Jan kid free!!!!! I'm really looking forward to having a break, even though I love my kids to death I am in real need of a break now.

I hope everyone is doing well

Hello, where is everyone? FB really has stopped us catching up in here!

    Well about me...

TTC not happening so far... only have 8months left before we are going to stop (we dont want a big age gap) Am seeing an accupunturist and naturopath that specialises in fertility here in brisbane so we;ll see if she is any good LOL. Weird after falling first time with the 3 kids and 1 MC... Gods will i guess. I also think that losing all that weight last year and exercising hasnt helped and i am still BF Thomas.....

Talking of Thomas. He is such a cutie. Still only 9.5kgs but SO tall, poor little skinny thing. He just doesnt stop and there is no way to tell him no. He is so happy all the time that he even smiles when put in the naughty corner! I give up. He eats like a machine, if he thinks its someone else meal. We have had to put him on a booster chair cause the high chair was just no fun any more. He still wake up loads at night but i dont care. Evie is 3.5 now and still makes her way to our bed so why shouldnt he. Grace started year 1 this week and loves it. All the kids are back to their activities so i am broke. Bloody swimming for 3, kindy gym for 2, Jazz, tap, ballet! Its insane and then there are the school fees. LOL nuts! If i dont have number 4 ill have to get a job! I mean a proper job not just the few hours i do at the gym!

I had a skin cancer cut off the other day. Scary stuff waiting for the results. They said that they got it all but still scary to be 31 and think that if i hadnt done anything about it id be dead! I am not allowed to do ANYTHING (hence i am on the computer a lot) for 3 months. It was such a big wound and i could easily open it if i do much. Which means the kids are off cause im not normal mummy and im going nuts being 'looked after'. No exercise or anything. And i know i shouldnt ***** but whenever i imagined that someone would do all my cooking, cleaning and look after the kids i really didnt picture it being like this! Anyway enough of poor me!

Welcome Mrs S: My daughter was born 25/4/04 and my 3rd 21/8/08!but i also have one in the middle of those too! Congrats on TTC your number 4. Hope all goes well for you!

I hope everyone comes in now and says hello and lets us know what you are up too!

It has been a long time since I posted - sorry!

Millie - good luck with TTC very exciting.

Danielle - Hope you enjoyed your kid free time! V. jealous.

Lilias - how did the move to the big boy bed go? Looking for tips! =)

Charmlea - am jealous of Gabbi's vocab, Beth has no words really just gobbledegook- but she understands lots of what we say and can follow instructions (when in the mood!)

    Hello to everyone else!

AFM We are having a boy! Found out at our 20 weeks scan just after new year. I had decided that I wanted another girl so was a little disappointed that it's a boy but I am slowly getting used to the idea and as long as he is healthy that's all that matters.

Morning sickness eased up around Christmas which was nice. I now feel pretty good most of the time but the heat does take it out of me. I have a sleep everyday when Beth goes down after lunch and I am usually so looking forward to it!

Beth started walking (finally!) a couple of weeks before Christmas and I am just loving this new skill. So much easier to walk into the supermarket with her than have to carry her or get out the stroller. Plus everyone smiles at her when we are toddling around so I feel I am contributing to a happy planet! =)

Need to get organised for Grover's arrival (working title). As lots of our newborn stuff was borrowed from other people in Norway. So am trawling ebay for a bassinette as I don't want to kick Beth out of the cot immediately but we are thinking of slowly moving her to a single bed some time soonish. Also need to buy another car seat - a cheapish one which Beth will use and Grover can go in the convertible one that Beth has been using. There are other bits and pieces like a baby bath and some boy clothes. I think a trip to ikea is needed as I also want to get beth a little table and chairs.

If I wasn't pregnant I would be thinking about going back to work. I love Beth with all my heart but I am taking very little pleasure being a SAHM. I am not houseproud and struggle to do housework. Cooking is a chore and DH is hardly ever home in time for bathtime so I feel like I am doing everything for Beth.

It's not helping that I still don't have many friends here in Perth. I have a lovely playgoup but I only see them on Friday and I have made a friend at Rhyme time at the library and we do catch up for playdates but other than that it's just Beth and I. Hence why a joined a gym - just for something to do to fill in the day.

Sorry don't mean to have a whinge!

    See you all around!

    Hello Ladies!

It's so great to hear from you all!!

We are going well. Liam is a cheeky little monster and is such a climber. He climbs everything. The other day I found him on the bathroom cabinet. Lily let him in when she went to the toilet and (naturally) didn't think to bring him out or to tell me he was in the bathroom. I can only assume he climbed up the drawer handles He had the toothpaste and was eating it, ick!! He had also thrown a few toilet rolls into the loo. Moster! He will climb on anything. The other day, I had taken all the toys he could climb on and put the away (mean mummy!!) and there he was piling things ontop of each other- two pillows, a doll, his little lounge, his guitar.....aall so he could reach a texta I had confiscated and put onto the dining table! He is almost always happy though, and is such a joker. He loves to make us laugh. I can see his school report cards now, 'class clown.....easily distracted.....distracts others......great ability when he applies himself....' lol!!

Erin, Liam is doing ok in his bed, though lately he's been visiting in ours! He teething really badly at the moment and he won't settle without his booby's. He is a bit hard to settle in bed and I lay with him til he's asleep, he also has a bf before sleep in bed too. I don't really have any tricks for you, lol! I just put him in there one day and that's it. If he's too hard to settle when he wakes through the night, he come into our bed. The only real rule we have is that he goes to sleep in his own bed! Good luck
Congrats on having a little man!! How exciting for you!

Niamh, I hope you kids were ok after their jabs! I always hate getting my kids immunisations. I hate them crying and I hate them possibly being sick after them...

Tegam, lol, you sound like me with your ttc. I told DH if we don't fall pg with #3 by around June-ish, then I will stop trying. I don't want my children to be more tha 2-ish years apart. He thinks I'm strange. But I am 9 and 10 years younger than my brothers and we don't have much of a relationship. I imagine it was like having a new family for my brothers when I was born.
How scary for you having skin cancer I am always worried I might get it too. DH is always nagging me about having my moles and things checked. I have very fair skin, and was never really taught to use sunscreen much. I was often sunburnt as a kid, sometimes fairly badly! I make sure now my kids are always lathered in sunscreen cause they're very fair too. So is DH but he refuses to wear it cause he gets too sweaty and it goes in his eyes....just don't put it there??!! Men! Annnyyywwaay! I hope things are going ok for you. Take it easy and let people take care of you! You'll have 4 kidlets soon and you'll never be able to sit for 5mins after that!!

Danielle, how things hun? I hope all is well.

Hi to anyone I have missed. I hope you're all well. Have a great weekend!

Hey beth, PM me your address, i might have some hand me downs for you!

Im feeling a bit better, chest is healing well but i am at the ungrateful cow stage and am so sick of others helping me. TTC is driving me nuts. I was saying to DH that it is so lucky we fell with Grace so quickly. I dont think i could have been a LTTTCer! Infact i know i couldnt have been. I just really want another one AF is all over the place (I have been miss regular all my life) no idea whats going on

was admitted to hospital last night with probable eptopic. Seems AF wasn't all over the shop & I really was UTD. Really not the way I wanted that BFP to end. DH was so happy when I rang and said I was UTD that he didn't hear the BUT. Drugged up to the eyeballs so that's kinda nice. Had to spend my 1st night away from tom his still Breastfeeding so I am very stressed and can't wait to hear from DH as to what sort of night he had. Seems so unfair that I have to lie hear loosing one baby and missing my other one. Also unfair that I have to do this in hospital....

You'd think the skin cancer and op would have been a ****ty enough way to start the year, I am really starting to wonder what I did to get this sort of karma. Sorry feeling very sorry for myself.

Hey girls those on FB I don't want this on there yet please.

Oh and on a brighter note, those who remember Melstar, she had another little girl yesterday! Natasha will look on FB again soon to get all the details.

Milly. I'"lm so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope the year gets better for you.

Wow - all our "little ones" are growing up so quick. TBH i'm having a hard time dealing with this ATM - maybe it's prg hormones??

DD is still only saying my mum, dad abd bub but is trying to mimick things we say. She can understand what we say and knows the words yess and no because she shakes and nods her head when she wants/doesnt want something.

This pregnancy is going well apart from all the back problems i've had. No idea what we are having - big surprise!

lilias - funny you said about the report card. Ours here will say "needs to follow directions more, can be stubborn" LOL

DD has just woken up so i'll come back later and do more personals.
