Am i the slackest person alive? Has anyone else not done their thank you cards yet?? Wasn't this late with the girls but feel i am almost at the point where it is silly to send them?? Feeling very rude

lmao I'm half way through making them & will be posting them, along with Christening invites INSIDE my Chritmas cards haha I told DH I dont care if people think its rude, people who love you understand that its expensive sending so many letters/cards, let alone 3 different ones to all the same people.
I'm just sick of trying to keep everyone else happy atm, so they either accept the cards together or not at all, doesn't make a difference to me.
People who love you will understand you've had your hands full with your kids. My MIL said "better late than never", so mine are going to be (very) late

We are well. Liams been pretty good, and he's getting sooo big. It makes me kinda sad cause he's my last bub, well according to DH! I'm trying to soak up every single moment with him, and Lily of course! She's such a character and comes out with the funniest things sometimes. Such a monkey.
Ok gotta go and prepare dinner while the kidlets are both asleep...

gosh i am flat out here atm ... v

nixon is driving me crazy with his sleep .. and i cried at him asking him "why wont you sleep .. is it something ive done is MY bed not good enough for you .. " he had been day napping in my bed because his room is so stuffy in the day and we have the air con in there ... but in the end we caught a train to brisbane and in the end nix was so overwhelmed , i asked him to put his head on my lap and have a sleep .. not thinking he actually would .. .but a few secs later i looked done and he was asleep .. on the train .. with ppl and noise .. omg the things toddler surprise you with ..

we went and saw santa in the myer centre .. big waste of time that was ... we were in line for about 1.3 hours and it was crap .. nixon liked the stuffed reindeer better than santa ... and in the end the pic had to be taked with all of us in it and my legs look soooo fat and white and my hair was friggen fluffy from the rain ..
on the upside i know my birthday present came from myer .. because i got asked to walk away for a few mins while DH got stuff from my favourite makeup counter .!!

Gabriella is going fine .. she is such a stickybeak ... she will turn her head as far as she can to see something thats caught her eye and stare at it ..

and she is always sucking on something .. like a washer or her hands or the strap on the pram ..
but shes growing waaaay to fast .. and is small but chubby .. even though she is quite plump to me , atm she is in a 0000 suit ... (im guessing its big sizing !! )

I have a video of her BF and in the video you can see her bite my nipple and pull back with her head ... she loves to do that and its a weird feeling .. i hop she doenst do it when she has teeth ..
I will put it on you tube ... and let you know where to find it . id put it on FB but i dont want some of the ppl on there to see my nipple

dh's xmas party on tonigt ... what am i going to wear !!!

    Hellooooooooooo girls

My goodness, i just dont get time to come in here and catch up and reply anymore. Things are SO busy, and its not just cos of christmas, i think its having 6 kids Who would have guessed that would make you so busy.

Lots been going on here. Have been going to a couple of information days for Briella cos she starts kindy next year. She has to go to mainstream kindy as well as a language development centre (LDC) because of her speech delay. Lucca (7yr old DS) slipped in the shower a couple of weeks ago and snapped both his front teeth in half..................adult teeth hmmmmmm, i was not impressed. So we have been going to the dentist a few times to get them rebuilt. Its just been non stop appts for different things, ive been flat out.

I got news my mum, stepdad and his parents are coming to Perth to visit about a week ago, so i have been trying to sort things out and clean. They get here on tuesday. I havent seen them for 3 1/2 yrs.

We finally have a patio. Its very exciting for us. We built our house, so we are slowly getting things done.

Chardonnay is going well. She is the most gorgeous thing. She is full of smiles and talks to us. She loves her hands and is reaching out to touch things. Lately she has been a poo machine though.........no sooner do you change a dirty nappy then she has another one..............and in the middle of the night/early morning..............I have to get up to change those even if she stays asleep because you cant leave her sitting in it. But other than that she is a joy

Me, im still having ALOT of problems with my stomach. I am going to make an appt with a gastroenterologist tomorrow and see what can be done, because i am pretty much still on the same dose of meds i was on when i was pregnant. I am taking 60mg at the moment, i probably need 80mg to make the pain stop. I was on 80mg when i was pregnant. You are meant to be on 40mg. So the dose is very high and giving birth hasnt really improved it.

I hope you are all well and have a good christmas if i dont get back in here before then to say it because the next few weeks are flat out for me and my kids are finishing school soon.

hey Kristi. sounds hetic down your way ..
Gabriella is sick for the 1st time , she has a chest infection and is on AB for it .. she is soo phlegmy from it and it get hard for her to breathe so out come that nasal sucker thing and we have to suck alot of junk out of her nose too , i wish i could get rid of the stuff on her chest. she is so snotty and grizzly , and the poor thing is covered in mozzie bites .. our colionial doesnt have flyscreens so , and this weather is prime for mozzies ..

me , well i went sshopping yesterday and just spent .. and spent .. i bought about $400 on clothes and about $200 on DH's xmas pressie ... I also went to get my teeth whitened but i couldnt becasue im Breastfeeding .. and my tooth has broken and fallen apart so i have to go see the dentist.. since being PG my teeth have become a disaster zone , i brush 2-3 times a day(esp after lots of sugar) and they are just getting worse..I hope its not a sign of diabetes .. as poor oral health is a sign of it .. and heart disease too .. but surely im fit enough to aviod HD???

luck i just got health insurance and hosp cover , so i can get my 3 compacted wisdom teeth out and all the fillings other wise id be soooo broke ..

i thought after all the crap i miss out on and put up with looking after 2 kids (not that i mind but ykwim) that its time for me .. so the kids got nothing yesterday.. and tonight we are going to the comedy club for my birthday , we have a table of 10 booked and i cant wait !!

nix only goes to kindy on a wed and only for about 5 hrs ... but each time i mention the word "kindy" and that hes going .. he flat out tells me NO .. and gets super clingy and doesnt want to go ..

i hate hearing him sad , but im told (my friend is his carer) that hes fine (he wouldnt be going if she didnt work there) i hope it passes as i want him to go 2 days mid next year ..

other than that its all good

Lucy slept for the first time unwrapped last nite!! so now ive got to go get some sleeping bags cause she kicks blankets off. she is so close to rolling and is getting so frustrated that she cant the poor luv.

Lea: i hope you had a fantastic birthday!! ive been having issues with my teeth too...thank god for insurance, its not something we budgeted for at christmas time, i had 2 off my wisdom teeth out last year and oh my it was such a relif. how is Gabriella ? i hope she is on the mend...it must be so horrible having a sick baby. Nathan hated daycare when we went for a look he screamed and screamed so i endend up putting him in family daycare while i worked when he was about two and he loved that .

Kristi: how lovely that you get to see your family after not seeing them for so long

guess what?....we are talking about trying for number 3!!!!!!

It has been a long time since I posted - sorry!

Millie - good luck with TTC very exciting.

Danielle - Hope you enjoyed your kid free time! V. jealous.

Lilias - how did the move to the big boy bed go? Looking for tips! =)

Charmlea - am jealous of Gabbi's vocab, Beth has no words really just gobbledegook- but she understands lots of what we say and can follow instructions (when in the mood!)

    Hello to everyone else!

AFM We are having a boy! Found out at our 20 weeks scan just after new year. I had decided that I wanted another girl so was a little disappointed that it's a boy but I am slowly getting used to the idea and as long as he is healthy that's all that matters.

Morning sickness eased up around Christmas which was nice. I now feel pretty good most of the time but the heat does take it out of me. I have a sleep everyday when Beth goes down after lunch and I am usually so looking forward to it!

Beth started walking (finally!) a couple of weeks before Christmas and I am just loving this new skill. So much easier to walk into the supermarket with her than have to carry her or get out the stroller. Plus everyone smiles at her when we are toddling around so I feel I am contributing to a happy planet! =)

Need to get organised for Grover's arrival (working title). As lots of our newborn stuff was borrowed from other people in Norway. So am trawling ebay for a bassinette as I don't want to kick Beth out of the cot immediately but we are thinking of slowly moving her to a single bed some time soonish. Also need to buy another car seat - a cheapish one which Beth will use and Grover can go in the convertible one that Beth has been using. There are other bits and pieces like a baby bath and some boy clothes. I think a trip to ikea is needed as I also want to get beth a little table and chairs.

If I wasn't pregnant I would be thinking about going back to work. I love Beth with all my heart but I am taking very little pleasure being a SAHM. I am not houseproud and struggle to do housework. Cooking is a chore and DH is hardly ever home in time for bathtime so I feel like I am doing everything for Beth.

It's not helping that I still don't have many friends here in Perth. I have a lovely playgoup but I only see them on Friday and I have made a friend at Rhyme time at the library and we do catch up for playdates but other than that it's just Beth and I. Hence why a joined a gym - just for something to do to fill in the day.

Sorry don't mean to have a whinge!

    See you all around!

    Hello Ladies!

It's so great to hear from you all!!

We are going well. Liam is a cheeky little monster and is such a climber. He climbs everything. The other day I found him on the bathroom cabinet. Lily let him in when she went to the toilet and (naturally) didn't think to bring him out or to tell me he was in the bathroom. I can only assume he climbed up the drawer handles He had the toothpaste and was eating it, ick!! He had also thrown a few toilet rolls into the loo. Moster! He will climb on anything. The other day, I had taken all the toys he could climb on and put the away (mean mummy!!) and there he was piling things ontop of each other- two pillows, a doll, his little lounge, his guitar.....aall so he could reach a texta I had confiscated and put onto the dining table! He is almost always happy though, and is such a joker. He loves to make us laugh. I can see his school report cards now, 'class clown.....easily distracted.....distracts others......great ability when he applies himself....' lol!!

Erin, Liam is doing ok in his bed, though lately he's been visiting in ours! He teething really badly at the moment and he won't settle without his booby's. He is a bit hard to settle in bed and I lay with him til he's asleep, he also has a bf before sleep in bed too. I don't really have any tricks for you, lol! I just put him in there one day and that's it. If he's too hard to settle when he wakes through the night, he come into our bed. The only real rule we have is that he goes to sleep in his own bed! Good luck
Congrats on having a little man!! How exciting for you!

Niamh, I hope you kids were ok after their jabs! I always hate getting my kids immunisations. I hate them crying and I hate them possibly being sick after them...

Tegam, lol, you sound like me with your ttc. I told DH if we don't fall pg with #3 by around June-ish, then I will stop trying. I don't want my children to be more tha 2-ish years apart. He thinks I'm strange. But I am 9 and 10 years younger than my brothers and we don't have much of a relationship. I imagine it was like having a new family for my brothers when I was born.
How scary for you having skin cancer I am always worried I might get it too. DH is always nagging me about having my moles and things checked. I have very fair skin, and was never really taught to use sunscreen much. I was often sunburnt as a kid, sometimes fairly badly! I make sure now my kids are always lathered in sunscreen cause they're very fair too. So is DH but he refuses to wear it cause he gets too sweaty and it goes in his eyes....just don't put it there??!! Men! Annnyyywwaay! I hope things are going ok for you. Take it easy and let people take care of you! You'll have 4 kidlets soon and you'll never be able to sit for 5mins after that!!

Danielle, how things hun? I hope all is well.

Hi to anyone I have missed. I hope you're all well. Have a great weekend!

nixon has the nickname "nixon no sleep" or "energiser kid " or amongst the adults its "i wonder who his dealer is , where can i get some "

he is sooooo full on .. and tires me out just looking at him .. we go to a bbq or something and DH runs after him .. i just cant be bothered ..

its funny its like DH can only handle one bub at a time ... put 1 in his arms (gab) and one on the ground (nix) and he crumbles .. pmsl its funny to watch !!

us mums we sure can multitask waaay better !!

well i am finally convinced i have to take nix to the doctor . yesterday my mum looked after him and when he came home mum said , he got conjunctivitis .. we woke up from a nap and mum (and her DH) both said it was all over his eyes .. and his right was worse then the left ... well this morning he was crying and asking for his dummy , and was trying to look under the couch .. but the poor bugger couldnt see !! his eyes were caked in junk !!

and his cough is getting worse .. and i was eating brekky and on the net (with nix next to me ) picking at his food , then i looked over to him and OMG the snot was everywhere !! and green as too .. ugh doctors suck ... the doc gave gab AB and her chest is still full of flegm ... i even went back to reasses her med but the doc said she was fine ..

i will try another doctor maybe!!

off to clean to banish germs or i will be sick too !!!

    Wow, we're all so quiet.....heeeeellllllooooooooooo?????

I guess everyone is busy with chrissy stuff.

Danielle, Liams head is now peeling and it looks so disgusting! The skin is hard and flakey, yucko!
LOL @ Brianna dobbing on her pretend friends, hehe!! Lily has her gorgeous moments too
Yay @ getting your house sorted! I can't wait til we have enough money to be able to spend a bit on our place. We've had it for almost 4yrs and haven't spent anything on it since then....it's a brand new unit, so it looks ok, but I want to do it up a bit more.

Lea, my DH is the same with the kids. He sooo can't multi task with them. He can only concerntrate on doing one thing with one of them at a time. It annoys the s*** out of me cause I can look after both kids and do the house work or cook dinner or whatever at the same time!
I hope Nixons eyes are better, conjunctivitis is so gross! And that his cough is gone.

    Hi to everyone else!

We have been pretty well. I have had a few mummy melt downs. DH has been doing lots of night shifts and strange hours with little time off and it has been doing my head in. I have been getting about 4hrs sleep on average when he's working, which is sooooo not good for me. I don't handle no sleep very well .
We got our chrissy shopping finished yesterday, yay! I love chrissy, but doing shopping with two babies, so really not fun, even with DH.
Lil is a monkey, though has been pretty good the past couple of days. Before that I was having a tough time dealing with her. We seem to go in waves. She is such a joy sometimes and such a character, then she does something monstrous, like getting a dining chair, getting the bread knife off the bench and bringing it to me while Im feeding Liam saying 'Nononono' to me....I guess at least she brought it to me, though she wouldn't give it to me and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw it in her hands.
I brought an ergo the other day, OMG! They are heavenly!! I carried Liam in it all day around Parramatta westfeilds (a biiig shopping centre) and couldn't feel his weight on me at all. Then I carried Lil in it on my back down to the shops for a few hours and again, it was great! I am in luuurve with it!!! LOL. I have a peanut shell sling and a baby bjorn and the ergo is sooo much better than either!
Anyway I should probably go and hang out the washing or it'll never get done...and if some of you don't drop in for a while,

    Merry Christmas!!!
I hope santa is generous for you all!
