It has been a long time since I posted - sorry!

Millie - good luck with TTC very exciting.

Danielle - Hope you enjoyed your kid free time! V. jealous.

Lilias - how did the move to the big boy bed go? Looking for tips! =)

Charmlea - am jealous of Gabbi's vocab, Beth has no words really just gobbledegook- but she understands lots of what we say and can follow instructions (when in the mood!)

Hello to everyone else!

AFM We are having a boy! Found out at our 20 weeks scan just after new year. I had decided that I wanted another girl so was a little disappointed that it's a boy but I am slowly getting used to the idea and as long as he is healthy that's all that matters.

Morning sickness eased up around Christmas which was nice. I now feel pretty good most of the time but the heat does take it out of me. I have a sleep everyday when Beth goes down after lunch and I am usually so looking forward to it!

Beth started walking (finally!) a couple of weeks before Christmas and I am just loving this new skill. So much easier to walk into the supermarket with her than have to carry her or get out the stroller. Plus everyone smiles at her when we are toddling around so I feel I am contributing to a happy planet! =)

Need to get organised for Grover's arrival (working title). As lots of our newborn stuff was borrowed from other people in Norway. So am trawling ebay for a bassinette as I don't want to kick Beth out of the cot immediately but we are thinking of slowly moving her to a single bed some time soonish. Also need to buy another car seat - a cheapish one which Beth will use and Grover can go in the convertible one that Beth has been using. There are other bits and pieces like a baby bath and some boy clothes. I think a trip to ikea is needed as I also want to get beth a little table and chairs.

If I wasn't pregnant I would be thinking about going back to work. I love Beth with all my heart but I am taking very little pleasure being a SAHM. I am not houseproud and struggle to do housework. Cooking is a chore and DH is hardly ever home in time for bathtime so I feel like I am doing everything for Beth.

It's not helping that I still don't have many friends here in Perth. I have a lovely playgoup but I only see them on Friday and I have made a friend at Rhyme time at the library and we do catch up for playdates but other than that it's just Beth and I. Hence why a joined a gym - just for something to do to fill in the day.

Sorry don't mean to have a whinge!

See you all around!
