    Hey folks
Squiddy - I have checked I seem to feed her 7 times in 24 hours, and 20 mins on one side then 5-10 mins on the other. She would go all day if I let her, but I try to keep it to that cause I have overfed her in the past . If you squirted yourself in the eye after an hour of feeding, it doesn't sound like it's a supply issue. Hopefully it sorts itself out but if you're really worried about his weight gain maybe see a paed. you certainly seem to be doing all the right things and it seems your supply is good so maybe what mel said....
mm great that your DH is on board about moving! funny how sometimes you get these things in your head isn't it!
MT have fun at the baby expo.... haven't heard if it is coming to Sydney. Although this week it is good food week, so we are going to the night noodle markets tonight
I'm so slack... my stepmum is going to clean up my house while I get a spa treatment.... but I don't think its going to happen till next week. In the meantime I don't want to clean up properly cause I know she'll do a much better job than I will! But the house is getting dirty so trying to figure out how to clean just a little bit so I still get full value from the stepmum-clean but don't have to live in a whole world of dust bunnies. I'm a bad girl!
Vic - hugs about your dad .... hope he's getting better real fast honey
Leash - hope you're getting that abscess seen to babe, you'll feel so much better when it's gone.
big hello to everyone else.... have a great day!
Mel - Woohoo! for the self-settling!

MM - nooo.. not stanthorpe *slap slap*.... SUNSHINE COAST..... hehehehehe
it's a stretch getting DP to consider QLD at all, considering he spends half his bl00dy life there!!! Why should he have all the fun??? lol!!

Veygas is quite good at self settling - better than the others were ... maybe it's just in their nature, being winter babies (my other 3 are all summer babes!!)

EDIT - also just got DD a school uniform cause one of her friends is wearing uniform for the orientation days Bl00dy girls!!

Here is a bit of a summary of my families week....

Here is an update on what has been happening.....

Dad had his surgery Tuesday, they ended up repairing the valve in his heart, through key whole surgery - best case scenario!!! Woot!! He was in ICU for 24 hours, double Woot, and is now in HDU, things were going really well, then last night his heart rate kept dropping so that have given him a pacemaker, good news about that is that apparently about 80% of cases get one temporarily, and we a luckier that is was on day two, as it is worse if he needed it on day one. He is having a pretty tough day today, they got him up to walk hima roudn the bed and crashed, so he is feeling pretty worse for ware at the moment, and it looks as though he will be in HDU for a while longer.

With my sister, she is still waiting for an MRI, but they have confirmed that they caught the Stroke jsut before it happened, they have now put her on a new medication but it isn't on the PBS, and it costs wait for it..... $1000 a day - OMG it is ridiculous. The neurologist is filling in all the paperwork so that hopefully she can get it subsidised/funded as it is impossible for her or the family to be able to afford $1000 a day

It really sucks why do the meds have to be so much.. there are some alternatives which aren't as effective. The expensive one would give her approximately another 20 years, the rest we are unsure about.

So we are hoping to get some good news about it all.

Today I saw the specialist GP and she has upped my Motilium to 6 a day!!! From 1 a day!!! Woot, so I will get the results in a couple of days, and on Sunday I need to feed Nakita as much as possible, I have two markets and a Tupperware party to go too... could be interesting!!! But worth everything. She said that I shouldn't have been told to comp and they my Motilium should have be upped at the time... grr but she also needed to put some weight on as well. Her expectation would be approximately 300 grams a month for Nakita - woot!! so I am not going to get stressed at she, she is really happy with her (first time meeting her) thinks she looks wonderful, round and happy, until she started screaming for boob halfway through, lucky I could feed her!!

The brick on the house are going really well, they have done the office, home theatre, laundry, kitchen and part of the billard room - Woot!!!

I have just an hour and a half reprieve from doing things for dad and mum, started the dishwasher as I forgot when I went out, hung out the washing and filled the line, Nakita is in her swing sound asleep and I am going to have to put her in the car in 15 min

Off to the city to pick up mum and then bring little miss home for a feed then we will walk to the shops to get prescriptions, chicken and a few other bits and pieces, the home for the night.

No prem playgroup today as my throat is now not sore, but my nose is stuffy and I have a cough, and strict rules, but at least we have normal playgroup tomorrow.

    Aurghhh what a list!!!

Thankyou again everyone for your wishes it means a lot to us MWAH!!!!

Squidipa - how are you feelign today hun? The GP said that some bubs only put on 100-120grams as an average, I know Josh is a bit less than that but hopefully you find your answers very soon.

Leasha - I hope you are in hossy hun getting that abscess drained.

I squirted Nakita all over her face today with milk, first time and it was hilarious - right infront of the GP!!! Must have jsut squeezed it right

yay for the self settling Mel

Woot for Stanthorpe MM, keep on him

Yay for Gymabaroo MT - sounds like fun what do they do?

Must run, little miss is awakening and I need to get organised!!

I told you Day 4 was poo day in our house!
Firstly, Seven threw up all over my black top while in the shopping centre - then, when we got home, she let it rip. I swear there was a 2 minute interval from when I heard the explosion until I got her on the change table and oh holy lord - what a mess. Once again - thank the lord she doesn't go 28 days!

CM4E - Veygas gets it all up his back!?!?!?! And worse, he squirms JUST as I take off the nappy, so it goes EVERYWHERE!!! (being #4 I kinda expect it though!! )

Vic - YAY for the doc upping your motilium!! LOL @ squirting N in the face with milk, that's happened to us a few times!! Hope your dad gets better - must have been scary! And YAY for the work on your house!! I hope that your sister's meds can be subsidised, $1K a day is a bit steep!! Sounds like you could do with a good night's sleep after the day you've had! (I'll swap babies with ya for the night, V has slept through 10+ hours the last 4 nights!)

Must toodle, kidlets are in the bath (well the oldest one anyway) and I need to make sure the others are still dry, as they've already had baths!!

    Hi all,

No not in hospital, dr keeps saying "we want to avoid that" I think he's putting it off as long as possible, giving my body a chance to deal with it. Yesterday there was no change, except no fevers at all yesterday so I think at least its not getting any worse. It's still red, the red isn't going away. This morning after she fed it wasn't as hard as it has been the past few days but I have noticed a kind of lumpiness to my boob which gives me stabbing pain when I poke it, which I think is the abcess (I couldn't tell before as it all felt sore and hard). Dr is seeing my AGAIN this afternoon 4.40pm, we decide what we're doing over the weekend. I don't want to go to hospital, I hate them so bad I couldn't wait to leave after the c/s! But then, if I am going to need to go at all, I'd rather go sooner than later.

Jazz has been a real ***** on my boob though. I haven't given her formula yet, even though she's gotten into biting my, and both nipples are cracked and the left one is bleeding too The things we do.... I have some Lansinoh (i think thats what its called... its the ridiculously expensive purple tube of yellow oily stuff that works wonders lol), which helped clear it up when they started cracking and bleeding in the first 2 weeks. And to think, all this caused by feeding her Sometimes you wonder hey, I'm doing it for her, and of course it IS worth it, but is it REALLY worth it when I think about me too you know...

Real estate rang yesterday, the owners are selling the house and our lease isn't being renewed. Well, we knew the owners were selling, they offered it to us first, but I am psitting chips as our lease runs out on December 22. I doubt anyone would be able to buy and settle a contract between now and then (or does it happen fast? I thought it was a very drawn out process) but as Shel works for the zoo she can't get time off during school holidays to move and its not like I can do it myself with Jazz) but moving in January is pretty much impossible so does anyone know how we can get out of our lease early. Not HEAPS early, you know, just like beginning of December. Do you reckon they'd be ok? I doubt it hey...? What a PITA. I'm so comfy here too, we're so close but far enough away from everything...

Anyway, not much else to say, got a driving lesson on Monday (Kel I'm with Coastwide) so if anyone is in Caboolture WATCH OUT! PMSL! Nah, I'm not a bad driver, I'm just very nervous. Paying $50 a lesson, suppose its gotta be done but I don't like parting with my cash lol!

    Morning all

WRT poo explosions - its so weird.... DS used to shiat up his back - DD is at the front - it MUST be a girl thing!!!!

Leasha - standard sale contracts are 30 days. So yes, it does happen that quickly. Settlement dates can be at any time really - I've once done a contract for 14 days before, and the one on our house was two months. So its actually what ever the parties agree to, but the standard time is 30 days. (can anyone tell that I'm a conveyancer?!? )

Oh, and you can request to break the lease early given the circumstances - talk it over with your real estate - they should have a form for you to request it from your landlord.

Pixie chick - I KNOW.. what the hell was going on?? I was disgusted really, so didn't voice my opinion!!!! well done to Beth this morning - what a good girl!!!!! Have a good time at mothers group!!!

Had another good night last night - both kids were asleep at 9pm (we went to IL's for dinner for FIL's birthday - but don't even ASK me about my MIL ) and didn't hear a peep out of DD for the rest of the night until she woke at 7.30am... unfortunately DS woke up 3 times last night - once from falling out of bed.. hehe... lucky its close to the floor huh...

Got the Austar guy coming around today (yayyy Leasha!!) so I've already changed for the day and brushed my hair (believe me, its a rare thing)

Better go change DD and give her a new nappy - she'll be soaked!!!!!! Plus I need breakfast!!!

    Check yas later!!!
