Mel - pmsl BIG TIME at elmo still being on!! Happens here all the time! DS2 sits in our bed at night til Veygas is asleep and watches nick jr or playhouse disney, and sometimes I find like an hour after I've put him to bed, it's still on!! LOL! PMSL at not doing housework too! I've got one at school, one at preschool, one asleep and one quietly playing and I'm sitting here with a cuppa and wasting the day away on BB!! LOL!

Yeah, I sooooooooo wanna be on the sunny coast!! Sick to death of the cold, and because of this bullsh*t weather, the kids are all chesty again! I know weather is weather wherever you go, but here, a drop in 10 degrees is the difference between a nice day and a fricken freezing day! At least up there, it's a hot day or a warm day! LOL!!

I just got Seven off to sleep without feeding her! WOOOHOOOOO. I'm trying to hold her off until at least 2.45 until she has another feed.

Oh and Vic - the dummy works! She's not that good at it, but she is happy enough atm with it so THANKYOU!

I weighed Nakita she put on 50grams!

So we are aiming for a total of 300grams a month which is what the LC said all she expected from her, the Child Youth Health Nurse said to weigh her again next week to see what happens but she said it was all fine. She is sleeping well, happy, content, not fussing at the boob.

I am relieved that both are happy with her, they think she looks great - so do I!!

Hugs Squidipa, just don't leave it too long to get more help. I would try to get some more into him, another feed if you can. even if it is just a bottle of EBM, it would be better to try that rather than having to go to Emergency.

Hi everyone!

Just popping in to say hi quickly! Been busy with MIL here, one more week before she heads home - going to be sad to see her go. She is already saying how hard it is going to be for her to leave Kye.

Had a weigh in today. Last one was done on the 1st October so thought it was time to see where he was at. His weight today was 7620g, length was 65cm and HC was 43cm. Stats on 1st Oct were weight - 6980g (weighed with clothes on), length well she was slack and didnt do it, HC was 42cm
So yeah hes off the graph so to speak for his height and weight have to be a bit more stringent with his routine for the rest of the week and see whether it makes a difference next Friday.

Not gonna bother to do personals, far too much to try and catch up on.

Jazz is on my boob AGAIN. Today has been soooooooooooooooooo long... her sleeps have been less than 20 minutes each... I'd say she hasnt had more than 2 hours since 5.30am. We're both a bit cranky.

Josiah doesnt sleep during day no more than few mins its all velcro baby everyday wears ya out cant do anything its hard i understand what your going through

And don't feel bad about being cranky ... When you've been awake that long and "left holding the baby" so to speak, it's only natural to feel tired and cranky!

wooohooooo Vic!!!! Never thought about propping the base up before, I always just angle the head and the base (so they're like a triangle with the floor) and then sit on the floor and use my knees to prop up the other end!! (that prolly doesn't make too much sense, but I am tired ... )

He is the same age as Seven and she was only 5.4 on October 15, and I thought SHE was porking it up! What a healhty young lad! Nice work!

PMSL Kye was 8lb 9 1/2 born so just a tad difference between him and Seven

I am happy in the fact he has only put on 600g or so in three weeks but yeah not so happy that he is "off the graph"; concerns me a wee bit but will wait to see if it continues when he gets weighed next friday.

I am not overfeeding him; well I dont think I am. I am still making up his bottles with only 150ml of water which with formula usually takes it to about 170ml.
His feeds are pretty much 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 9pm or thereabouts.

i wouldn't be to worried as long as its all proportionate but would keep an eye as well i mean he is growing in all directions height too that good other wise i would be concerned. Josh has only grown 5.5 cm since birth. how much has he grown? has josh grown the least guys???

sasha - DS1 was 9lb 1oz (4.1kg) at birth and going by his PHR book was 4750g at 12 days old, 6.5kg at 8 weeks and 8250g at 3.5 months old ... BUT he was totally breastfed ... and I am only little and his dad was average height, so I would have worried if he was bigger ... are you and DH tall?

Anyway, now, he is one of the smaller kids in his class, and at almost 8 I don't think he has even hit 20kg yet! And he is now really thin! (and eats like a horse! )

If Kye is off the chart both weight and height, i would say he is proportionate!

ETA: DS1 was off the charts for the first three months right from the start!

I don't know (i haven't been to the ECHC for measurements) but Veygas is still in 000's (and some things like tracksuits are STILL really baggy on him, like the waist part comes up under his arms!) and I still have to fold up sleeves on jumpers and jackets ...
