CRIKEY HOLY MOSES! What a healhty young lad! Nice work!
PMSL Kye was 8lb 9 1/2 born so just a tad difference between him and Seven

I am happy in the fact he has only put on 600g or so in three weeks but yeah not so happy that he is "off the graph"; concerns me a wee bit but will wait to see if it continues when he gets weighed next friday.

I am not overfeeding him; well I dont think I am. I am still making up his bottles with only 150ml of water which with formula usually takes it to about 170ml.
    His feeds are pretty much 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 9pm or thereabouts.

maybe he is just going to be a baby that is way bigger than what they class as "average". He is off the chart for his height too

    What does everyone think?

i wouldn't be to worried as long as its all proportionate but would keep an eye as well i mean he is growing in all directions height too that good other wise i would be concerned. Josh has only grown 5.5 cm since birth. how much has he grown? has josh grown the least guys???

I don't know (i haven't been to the ECHC for measurements) but Veygas is still in 000's (and some things like tracksuits are STILL really baggy on him, like the waist part comes up under his arms!) and I still have to fold up sleeves on jumpers and jackets ...

No-one even delivers to our place LOL! Except for our local pizza joint, and it costs us nearly $50 for 2 large pizza's garlic bread and a 1.25L soft drink cause they actually charge for delivery on top (and they're only like an 8 minute drive away!)

We don't order out all that often, but sometimes we'll go get chinese takeaway - 6 dishes and 2 large fried rice sets us back about $65, but it lasts us lunch and dinner! We haven't done that for ages, and we've only eaten out twice in the past 3 months and one of those times was fathers day!

yeah that sounds like an alright deal hey i LOVE Chinese but last time i ate it was just a year ago for my 1st wedding anniversary and it made me crook, there must have been to much floured foods on my plate i would have been just fallen preggers to and it did not agree with me at all i got excessive nausia due to wind.

thanks for the response hey my 3year old stripped of and dancing brb
he things its daycare day haha.

    Hello All.

So, all in all had a reasonable day with Seven. Tried very hard to get her to go 2 hours in between feeds...and only failed twice, so thats good! Its easier now that she is 'kind of' sucking on a dummy.

Also, DF is ****ting me AGAIN!
not that makes ya feel much better but yeah if hubbie tries something like that witch it normally si storm related that keeps him up anything weather like. I say DONT YOU DARE USE THE EXCUSE OF YOUR TIERED!!! and he wouldn't dare after i say that haha.

Just like you i have been so flat out with josh and he seem to find minimum 3 hours up to 8 hours a day to spend time doing weather related stuff online . Like you i don't want to say ya cant but keep it in check and ya do have a family IYKWIM. Today he has gone to a storm/wethor convention thing where they boast about the best storm and show of footage. He left very early wont be back till after 6 i expect maybe later who knows he will tell me tho if he is going to be late tho OR ELSE!!! I am one of these ppl whom always feels second to something in our marragie i know he loves me and cares for me but i am always second on the list when weather is always here. Even in diff country's. Honestly i would have ratherd him stay home do a feed witch i did ask last night but weathor took over. And maybe l,et em sleep. but dont want to stand in the way of his life long passion hey i cant compete with it. I dont want to be controlling either.

CM4E i understand you must be so warn out BFing takes it seriously out of you do keep up with it and i hope that this new thing keeps working for you.
I still only lost 2kg this last month. Dunno... maybe I should weigh myself when my boobs are EMPTY
thats good weight loss.. hehe i weighed my self after feed and lost 100 grams, i havnt lost any weight not gonna try any thing till josh is sorted but i am staying round the same!

Our sleep through streak is over Beth woke at 4.20 on Thursday and 3.30 last night, but it was just a quick dummy replacement and she went back to sleep thankfully!
:hugs: i hope she drops back to sleeping through. josh dont even sleep during day

VIC.... i love those whimperin noises its so cute ..

woke to find ds3 had cracked egs on my kitchen rug awww

Can i be so bold as to ask who here has had thier first period since birth????? i havn't i had spotting just once thats it.

Squidipa - Kye was 54.5cm at birth so he has gained 10.5cm in 10 weeks ... looking at his book in 23 days (since 1-10-08) he'd gone from 59.5cm to 65cm, hell of a growth spurt!! hehe

MM - Yep could say DH is tall hehe He is 198 cm I think from memory and I'm about 168cm I think?

Kel - had to laugh when you said future sports star When DH was younger he was in a cpl of Nth QLD sport teams so maybe Kye might do the same.... lmfao

Anyways the boy is whinging so must go......

    Super Cute piccies Leasha!!

I put some more on facebook, but I have to update my blog at some stage...

That is one crazy growth spurth Sasha! What size clothes is Kye in now?

For MM, Pixie and The Bear - yay for you all catching up today, can't wait to see some photos!!

Bought some Huggies Infant nappies yesterday, but wasn't quick enough changing her when we got home, gave her a feed then she was sitting up (aided) on the pillow on my lap and the rumbles cam through and OMG!!!! Pooh spurted out the side, all over the pillow and Nakita, I jsut managed to grab the side of the pillow to stop it flowing onto me!! YEEEAAAAUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! So I had to clean up Nakita, chuck a load of washing in the machine and little miss in the bath, we told her that next time she wants a bath to just let us know and that she doesn't have to poo everywhere to get a bath!!

Nakita also had her first night in the cot, in her bassinet, she slep the same so I am going to just put her in the cot tonight to see how she goes, now it is time to debate whether to keep wrapping, use a sleeping bag or sheets, last night was quite warm, but tonight will be cooler - the cool change has hit yay!!

What is everyone doing at the moment re wrapping, sleeping bags or sheets/blanket?

Well must go to the markets early before they get too busy and Nakita is sound asleep in her swing, I also must write invoices today, do washing, make lunches, clean, some friends are catching up at the beach this arvo, so if I am organised perhaps we will go for a catch up...

    Have a great day!

    Morning everyone,
I'm feeling very refreshed today (apart form a cold) Allegra slept all night from 12am to quarter to 8 what a little champ!

Sasha- Wow what a sporty family you may have then aaaawww just think how cute they look in there tiny little sports uniforms

Vic- nappy blow out! hee hee I had one too! Goodluck for tonight with the sleeping in the cot

Squidipa- Good on you guys thats amazing and strong of you to take on another child and provide the family they deserve I hope it works out for you.

Pixie, the bear and MM- I hope your play date goes well

Leash- Jazz is just gorgeous she looks like she's a really happy smiley baby do you get giggles now? Allegra gives us some but not very often.

Hello SB, kiwigirl, CM4E, MT and Mel

Speaking of facebook I have a page and would love to have more friends (I always add new photos on there of the kids to) If you'd like you can PM me your email and I can add you.

Like Vic I had the biggest nappy blow out I have ever had. Allegra was on my lap and the nappy must have opened a little around her legs, I felt something warm run down BOTH legs I looked down Yep it was pooey. It went up her back, up her tummy, on the couch and on the floor I yelled to Cadence to get a towel she came running over saw the pooey started dry reaching and ran off yelling NOOOOOOOO so I had to waddle down the hall way to the linen closet and grab a towel THEN clean up the trail of pooey I left So I now buy nappies that are slightly too big for her they seem to hold me in and don't leak!

I am still wrapping Veygas (although it is still quite cool here) and I also have a bottom sheet, top sheet (cotton, not flanelette - I hate it!) and a thermal blanket in the cot ... seems to do the trick though, cause I can put him straight in the cot while he is still awake and 99% of the time, he'll self settle and go to sleep, day or night!

Speaking of facebook I have a page and would love to have more friends (I always add new photos on there of the kids to) If you'd like you can PM me your email and I can add you.
I have a FB link in my siggie which should take you straight to my profile where you can add me!

Anyway, better make my house look mildly presentable before Pixie and Bear get here! LOL!

Have a good one everyone, and big HELLO's to all!!

    Morning all

Squidipa- Congrats thats great that Josiah had a weight gain!

Pixie and MM- great to hear you meet up went well
Pixie- DF's dad is a great cook unfortunatly DF didn't pick up that gene

Mel- hey the 80's are coming back haven't you seen the fluro pants and baggy t shirt and don't forget the boys in their skinny jeans

CM4E- I hate when they make noises in their sleep I wake at every little one. when I saw NASA I thought wow working with NASA (space) how cool

hello to all mummies and babies I missed

Our neighbour told us that on the weekend that a stupid idiot climbed DF's truck jumped off the roof and really hurt himself, He had to get a chicky he was walking with to help him walk. DF is now paranoid that someone will climb the truck hurt themself and try and sue! This is why I want to move people are so stupid it makes me angry I mean what did the idiot think would happen jumping off the roof of a truck onto the road! sorry for the rant I'm calming down now

Kel - Some people are just morons, hey!

Squidipa - YAY for Joshie's weight gain!!!

CM4E - I'm so glad that Seven had another good night!! Shame about your sleep, though hopefully Seven will settle into this new routine quite well!

Mel - I'm sure the insulation people would have loved your elmo pj's And what is wrong with the 80's??? I'm still living in the 80's!! Our kids love 80's music ... Ok so I don't have the spiral perm any more, and I don't wear a million ribbons and rags in my hair like Boy George ... but Kaliah is starting to like the 80's fashion (seeing as it's sort of coming back in again!!) ... you know, the leggings with a short skirt ...

Big for you all who are heading back to work I'm STILL trying to get my printer working (from like 6 months ago!!!) so that I can start making $$$$ again! Oh well, lucky DP is sooooo understanding about the whole situation!

Oh and by the way, the link I posted before has a couple of photos from when Pixie and Bear were here!! (I knew I forgot to say something in the actual post!!)

MM - I knew the pics were of that meet up - great pics too.. sooo jealous!!!! Master V is a big boy huh!!!!! And I LUUUURVE the 80's!!!! I still think we are the luckiest generation, cos we got to grow up with excellent music, and great cartoons like Astroboy!!! WOOOOT!!!

Kel - I'd check out your insurance on the truck to make sure they cover you for public liability - just in case

Yeah back to work for me guys - next week - for three days a week

Still haven't gone down to the daycare - cos DH took the remote for the garage with him to work (cos its on the keyring to the other car still) so I'm locked in..
    PMSL...

sasha - DS1 was 9lb 1oz (4.1kg) at birth and going by his PHR book was 4750g at 12 days old, 6.5kg at 8 weeks and 8250g at 3.5 months old ... BUT he was totally breastfed ... and I am only little and his dad was average height, so I would have worried if he was bigger ... are you and DH tall?

Anyway, now, he is one of the smaller kids in his class, and at almost 8 I don't think he has even hit 20kg yet! And he is now really thin! (and eats like a horse! )

If Kye is off the chart both weight and height, i would say he is proportionate!

ETA: DS1 was off the charts for the first three months right from the start!
