    YAY Nakita!!!!!! Woohoo!

Squidipa, we are fully BFing here.

Hey just wondering, how much do your bubs sleep during the day? Do they have a big stint, or mostly just cat naps?

Jazz used to have a few big ones during the day, and she (and we!) were so much happier for it. Starting last week so stopped her big sleeps and is now having 10-30 minute cat naps here and there(or aroundabout). Nothing regular AT ALL. It really sucks...

I made a driving lesson yesterday and my instructor said "Oh well lets do it around your bubs sleeping routine, whens best for you" and I was like "routine? yeah we don't have one" and the instructor went "how old is she, 3 months? You should have a routine by now..."

Basically all I know is that Jazz will sleep for 2-3 hours after she wakes up from her night sleep. Pretty much guarenteed that she'll be asleep until 8-9am, and after that is anyones guess. She gets sooooooooooooooooooo cranky, but just won't sleep (even when I explain that if she slept she's feel so much better ).

Squiddy - still fully BFing here too
Leash - I know what you mean - Beth is all over the place at the moment too... some days she will have a megasleep = the other day she slept from the end of one feed to the beginning of the next, like 2.5 hours! Then other days she'll catnap for half an hour here and there and rouse really easily. I notice now that she gets really stroppy before she crashes out, she's so agitated and cranky I wonder if she really is tired - stretching herself out rigid in the rocker and making agitated cranky noises, and I rock her for a bit and I see the lazy eye she gets when she's tired, and then she passes out. funny, but annoying! yesterday was mostly a catnap day and i thought well at least she will sleep tonight.... instead she woke up at 2am and the only way I could get her to go back to sleep was to put her on the boobie.... she fell asleep after 5 mins but it's not a habit I want to start!
Vic YAY FOR NAKITA'S WEIGHT GAIN!!! YOU GO GIRL!

Pixie.... what you just described is just just happened. Jazz was whingey and crying and squirming, wouldn't go down at all, but i put her in her rocker and rocked and she whinged then spaced out then crashed. Lets hope this is a big crash out!!!! I have uni things to do!

Leash - and because she's tired all the time she keeps falling asleep on the boobie, and not finishing her feed, and then she wants to feed earlier it's a vicious circle!

Just a quick one right now, gotta do stuff (as apparently I don't do anything pfffft).
I hear ya babe!! Apparently all I do is sit around chatting to everyone on BB and FB!! LOL!! Sad thing is, it's half true!! But I know DP is only mucking around with me! (TFFT!!)

My 1st DS was a non-sleeper ... if we went anywhere in the pram, he'd fall asleep, but as soon as the pram stopped, he'd be awake ... I think some bubs get to a point where they are more aware of the surroundings and think they'll miss out on something if they go to sleep ... and I used to try and explain the same thing to him!!

Master V, on the other hand went through a "cat-naps during the day" phase not all that long ago, but now, he'll spend pretty much the morning awake (from about 8am to 11am or 12pm if we are out shopping or something) Sometimes he'll go down earlier, then he usually wakes up when I put him in the car at around 2.45pm to go get the kids (but often drifts back off in the car!) When we get home, I put him in the swing so that I can get dinner served up and all the things that need doing before DP goes to work and sometimes he'll go back to sleep in the swing too. But I usually start getting him ready for bed around 4.30-5pm (he often has a good splash and kick in the bath for around half an hour these days!) Then he mega feeds and happily goes off to bed.

Sometimes on the weekends, he'll have 2 x 2.5-3 hour sleeps during the day, depending on what we do - if we stay home or go out .... if we're out, he'll usually cat nap and then crash early in the evening.

Pixie - YAY for the car!!! MummyTummy is down in Melbourne, yes?? and IKWYM about the other thread it is a bit LOL! But hey, I have an 8 seater car with 2 empty seats

Vic - YAY for Nakita's weight gain!!

Squidipa - still fully BF-ing here too.

Well must go, I gotta eat before picking up the kids (i sooooo totally missed lunchtime!)

    Hugs to all! Mwaaaaah! xxx

Thanks for you messages about my saga - finally it got taken down after threatening legal action but who knows how often this sort of thing happens, so not cool!!!
