Leash - and because she's tired all the time she keeps falling asleep on the boobie, and not finishing her feed, and then she wants to feed earlierit's a vicious circle!

I hear ya babe!! Apparently all I do is sit around chatting to everyone on BB and FB!! LOL!! Sad thing is, it's half true!!But I know DP is only mucking around with me! (TFFT!!)
My 1st DS was a non-sleeper ... if we went anywhere in the pram, he'd fall asleep, but as soon as the pram stopped, he'd be awake ... I think some bubs get to a point where they are more aware of the surroundings and think they'll miss out on something if they go to sleep ... and I used to try and explain the same thing to him!!
Master V, on the other hand went through a "cat-naps during the day" phase not all that long ago, but now, he'll spend pretty much the morning awake (from about 8am to 11am or 12pm if we are out shopping or something) Sometimes he'll go down earlier, then he usually wakes up when I put him in the car at around 2.45pm to go get the kids (but often drifts back off in the car!) When we get home, I put him in the swing so that I can get dinner served up and all the things that need doing before DP goes to work and sometimes he'll go back to sleep in the swing too. But I usually start getting him ready for bed around 4.30-5pm (he often has a good splash and kick in the bath for around half an hour these days!) Then he mega feeds and happily goes off to bed.
Sometimes on the weekends, he'll have 2 x 2.5-3 hour sleeps during the day, depending on what we do - if we stay home or go out .... if we're out, he'll usually cat nap and then crash early in the evening.
Pixie - YAY for the car!!!MummyTummy is down in Melbourne, yes?? and IKWYM about the other thread

LOL! But hey, I have an 8 seater car with 2 empty seats
Vic - YAY for Nakita's weight gain!!

Hi girls!
Just been reading all your messages. A bigto kel and Leasha for the stuff you are going through. Congrats on the BIG weight gains squidipa and Vic! Hoping for another one for you this week
Thanks for you messages about my saga - finally it got taken down after threatening legal action but who knows how often this sort of thing happens, so not cool!!!
The sun is shining here, it's election day in NZ, and I'm trying to get on top of lots of chores.
xox to all![]()
Hi everyone .. I've been so slack at keeping up with personals and stuff - been at work so usually did little posts - and managed to post yesterday in July thread - then boss came in.. lol
Leash & Kel -We should all catch up for a big whinge session
Squidipa - sorry you had a rough day yesterday. I can only say that things will get better - won't be like this foreverYou should come for the big whinge session mentioned above.
Vic - yay on Nak's weight gain!!! She's a total star mate.
Kiwi - glad it was sorted out mate.
Can't remember anything else- bigto MM and Pixie chick - love you guys!!!!!
Err not much to report here. DD is still sleeping through the night and is beginning to self settle - she's the best behaved baby at daycare (but of course!) quite a cruisy baby.
We are getting a screen door put on the french doors today- so DS can go in and out as he pleases - and hopefully the cats won't escape
I was going to say something else. Can't remember now.
Crap.
Oh well. Have a good day everyone!!!![]()
Morning All.
Had a fab day yesterday, I made two lasagnes, took one to my friend house, oh her bump is just looking adorable, it was so lovely to touch it, oh I miss my bump!!! But I am not quite ready for another one yet.. but MM and Pixie I am watching the other threadcan't wait to see the outcome!!!
She also gave us a few adorable Sprout and Bebe outfits for Nakita, ohh theya re soo adorable!!! We are soo spoilt!
Hubby has been a gem, I got to go to bed just after 10:30pm, he gave Nakita her late feed after I had expressed, we have got her up to 160ml, and we had to use a different bottle and he said it took her ages to drink it, so I need to go and buy another TTCN in a larger size or buy some quicker teats for the NUK bottles I have which are larger - ah decisions!!!
Today I am planning to get some washing done, and whipper snip the lawns and clean, we have mothers group (normal playgroup) at our house this week, so I need to make the place look respectable, there is no chance with the front room as it is filled with boxes and stuff already packed up to be moved! But oh well!!
Squidipa big hugs for your difficult day yesterday, countless times I have wanted to give up, especially when facing the pump again or a cracked nipple and trying to feed through the pain, but you know that it will get better and you forget about the bad days. I am almost fully BF'ing, if I can get a couple of extra expresses in during the day I get enough for giver her a top up around dinner time, plus her big bottle late at night, but if I don't then I just have to add a little bit of formula to those bottles. My supply has definitely improved, but I just don't have the time to express after every feed. But in the end the amount of F that goes into those bottles isn't vey much, so between 0-100ml a day of F.
Yay for the sleeping through the night Mel!!! Yay Mehkelti!!
Nakita woke this morning at 5:48am, and I went to change her bum and it was sooooo wet and hade a poo too, I reckon it weighed nearly 500grams!!!! But amazingly enough it was all contained! She wasn't very settled after tha t but she wasn't hungry she ended up feeding just before 8pm, hopefully she will be sleeping a bit longer tonight.
So glad that things seem to be sorted out Rachel, oo election day I saw that you voted on FB!!
Yay Pixie on the car!! MT will be thrilled to finally get to catch up with a Baby Buddy, would be fab if it works out!!
Leasha and Pixie, Nakita did the same, which was part of her reason for also not putting on enough weight, so I sit her up and feed and tickle her under the chin to keep her awake!
I forgot to mention that last night and the night before Nakita totally refused my bbs, it was at the 6:30pm feed, Thursday night I gave up, she just screamed with her mouth open and wasn't going to latch on at all, got a ottle of EBM and and she drank away happily, but I think she was trying to tell me that she was too tired to drink from the boobie!! Last night I perservered and she eventually took the bbs, then took a top up of 80ml of EBM anyway!!!
Poo's are nice and regular again too!
Sasha, MT, Kel, Kell, Mel huge hi there, crap I have to go Nakita is awake ready for some playtime!! Hopefully I will get back to finish!!
Hi everyone,
Thank you thank you thankyou for your messages you all made me feel much better. and after a HUGE D & M we talked out our problems and are now happier then ever.
Vic- Nakita is doing so well and she looks so healthy you wouldn't know she was born really early.
Mel- I would love to catch up with you guys November is out for me though I have sooooo many bookings and catch ups with friends I've had to wirte them down so I don't miss one. Thats great miss M is a cruisy baby How did you go putting her into day care? I might have to do it with Allegra but I said to DF I don't want to cos she's still fresh
Kiwigirl- I'm so glad they took the pics down I read the blog on face book very scary
Squidipa- so sorry for the weight loss do you have another doc appointment soon? If you want to increase your supply try blessed thistle I got some and I wake up with swollen Pamela Anderson boobies
MM- you might have to fill those 2 empty seats in your car can't have them going to waste![]()
Pixie- how exciting a new car! LMAO lazy eye Allegra gets those and her eyes roll back into her head looks a little freaky when you can see a slither of her eye colour and the rest is white.
Leash- none of my kids had a routine to be honest I didn't have the patience to get them to sleep when they didn't want to. How are your driving lessons going?
I'm going to write in another thread about why I'm paranoid I didn't think it was appropriate to put it here
Howdy all!
Rach - I'm glad they took down your photos! As far as I'm concerned, they really had no choice in the matter!
Squidipa - I'm sorry you had a bad day
Kel - glad everything is sorted with DFHope it all stays good
Vic - LOL I think (for me anyway) you get to a point where you think "what's one more gonna hurt??" LOL. But Master V is such a gem of a baby (99% of the time) - he just better get used to the idea of getting himself mobile!Well, we'll wait and see anyway!
Mel - sucks that you're back at work
My 2.5yo is sitting on my lap PHSL at the "doh" smiley - he thinks it is putting a hat on and according to him, the "praying" one has a funny dummy!!
Master V has decided it's really fun to alternate between my nipple and his thumb while feedingit's not like anything comes out of his thumb!! LOL
Pixie & Bear - hope the car pick up is going well! And the quick visit to Melbourne!
AAAAAAHHHHHHHH just lost my post and it was really long and my stupid keyboard was doing that over typing thing so when I would backspace it would type over what I just wrotethe stupid key board will be meeting that stupid little home key (where ever that is) or DF will come home to the keyboard through the monitor.
Sorry can't do personals will bbl for them
I had the biggest teary last night we moved Allegra from the bassinet to the cot in her own room. When I looked over at the empty bassinet it made me cry then I looked at the empty spot where it used to be next to our bed and I cried THEN I thought about her being all alone in her cot and cried then I thought about how I will never again have that little baby next to my bed making squeeky baby noises in their sleep because we're not having anymore and guess what I CRIED. DF cuddled me to comfort me I really felt silly but he understood
Hello Lovelies!
Been a while since Ive been on, but have been so terribly busy! Had my Best Friend fly in from England on Friday morning. Friday night was my hens night. Dinner and Bowling! Yeeha! Then sat was spent tidying up the house. Yesterday was Sevens Baptism, and this week is all getting ready for NEXT sunday which is D Day! OMG so much too do not enough time to do it in!
Seven is a gem, sleeping well, feeding well, and pooping lots! LOL
I will endeavour to get pictures up of the weekend but my computer is having a meltdown so it may take a while.

i so understand kel BIG HUGSi havnt moved josh yet normally i have moved the kids at 8 weeks old but i just cant seem to do it. I keep thinking he is getting too big but i still cant move him. Mind you he has only grown 7cm's since birth
. I am just lucky that he isn't rolling yet or else i would have to move him. I am scared that i wont be able to see him. Silly yeah especially being baby 4 but that doesn't mean i care any less IYKWIM.
I had the excuse for a while the cot is full of the cupboard food but its been empty for some time now. Then it was, i have to get him used to the cot during the day and i have been and Josh loves it and goo's and gahhh'sall the time, he loves the butterfly mobile too. So whats my excuse.... UMMMM i cant see him. We have a night light next to my bed so i can see him Now as soon as i open my eye's at night and if he is in his room i wont be able to see if he had pulled anything over his face or check to see if he is breathing. Yeah CrAzY me.... i wake up at night and sorta poke him to check. I pray
all the time that he is protected at night and will still be with me when i wake int he morning. Sometimes i get myself all worked up that i cant even sleep i just want to watch him and make sure he is alright.
Now i have a new excuse not to move him... our Room has no windows only French doors to the porch and a air con which we don't use. It needs a good clean dunno if it even works!!! Our room is connected by French doors into Josiah's room where there is two windows near his cot. So obviously in this humid weather we sleep with them open but wont be able to when josh goes in there. This is sorta a good thing but sorta a bad thing. So what to do move the cot yeah, ya could do that but there really isn't anywhere else for it to go in that room the draft will still be passing the cot IYKWIM. So ahhhi guess the cot has to come into our room till this warm weather is over hey. I am sorta happy but sorta not. Mind you ill be happy
i can see him some what at night. Ill have to move my chair and foot stool out of my room and where his cot is. Ill only be able to see the end of the cot not him directly in our room. I guess that maybe progress.
There is another option take DS3 out of his room and put him in Josiah's room and joshie share with DS7 i think DS7 would LOVE that! He sleeps through everything ad all noise but that would mean i am a whole doorway and hallway 2 walls and another door away from josh and i cant bear that right yet! PLUS heres another excuse or is it? DS3 would have to walk through our room to his room HRMMMMM. or maybe i could unblock the door in the Kitchen and then Block off the door in our room but then ya have the air issue hrmmm. Cant win I do have windows on top of our door that connects to Josiah's room that we could open tho.
The eventual goal is to move josh in with the boys but need to wait till DS3 is older so he doesn't give him small things when i am NOT looking IYKWIM
any ideas anyone? yeah i think this is doing my head in i guess i am just not ready. Plus i don't really want to have to get up get dressed to walk to DS7's room to get josh even if it is every 2nd week. I am obviously NOT ready????
Who here has rolling babies? JOSHIE is good at holding his head up and sitting for short periods of time.
Oh yeah i sorta had a period started with day 1 brown spot then day two spotting red, then late day 2 a gush then NOTHING then day 3 nothing day 4 a brown bit
BTW 8 feeds so far today so maybe 1 or 2 more for josh
