Hi everyone .. I've been so slack at keeping up with personals and stuff - been at work so usually did little posts - and managed to post yesterday in July thread - then boss came in.. lol

Leash & Kel - We should all catch up for a big whinge session

Squidipa - sorry you had a rough day yesterday. I can only say that things will get better - won't be like this forever You should come for the big whinge session mentioned above.

Vic - yay on Nak's weight gain!!! She's a total star mate.

Kiwi - glad it was sorted out mate.

Can't remember anything else- big to MM and Pixie chick - love you guys!!!!!

Err not much to report here. DD is still sleeping through the night and is beginning to self settle - she's the best behaved baby at daycare (but of course!) quite a cruisy baby.

We are getting a screen door put on the french doors today- so DS can go in and out as he pleases - and hopefully the cats won't escape

I was going to say something else. Can't remember now.

    Crap.

Oh well. Have a good day everyone!!!

    Morning All.

Had a fab day yesterday, I made two lasagnes, took one to my friend house, oh her bump is just looking adorable, it was so lovely to touch it, oh I miss my bump!!! But I am not quite ready for another one yet.. but MM and Pixie I am watching the other thread can't wait to see the outcome!!!

She also gave us a few adorable Sprout and Bebe outfits for Nakita, ohh theya re soo adorable!!! We are soo spoilt!

Hubby has been a gem, I got to go to bed just after 10:30pm, he gave Nakita her late feed after I had expressed, we have got her up to 160ml, and we had to use a different bottle and he said it took her ages to drink it, so I need to go and buy another TTCN in a larger size or buy some quicker teats for the NUK bottles I have which are larger - ah decisions!!!

Today I am planning to get some washing done, and whipper snip the lawns and clean, we have mothers group (normal playgroup) at our house this week, so I need to make the place look respectable, there is no chance with the front room as it is filled with boxes and stuff already packed up to be moved! But oh well!!

Squidipa big hugs for your difficult day yesterday, countless times I have wanted to give up, especially when facing the pump again or a cracked nipple and trying to feed through the pain, but you know that it will get better and you forget about the bad days. I am almost fully BF'ing, if I can get a couple of extra expresses in during the day I get enough for giver her a top up around dinner time, plus her big bottle late at night, but if I don't then I just have to add a little bit of formula to those bottles. My supply has definitely improved, but I just don't have the time to express after every feed. But in the end the amount of F that goes into those bottles isn't vey much, so between 0-100ml a day of F.

Yay for the sleeping through the night Mel!!! Yay Mehkelti!!

Nakita woke this morning at 5:48am, and I went to change her bum and it was sooooo wet and hade a poo too, I reckon it weighed nearly 500grams!!!! But amazingly enough it was all contained! She wasn't very settled after tha t but she wasn't hungry she ended up feeding just before 8pm, hopefully she will be sleeping a bit longer tonight.

So glad that things seem to be sorted out Rachel, oo election day I saw that you voted on FB!!

Yay Pixie on the car!! MT will be thrilled to finally get to catch up with a Baby Buddy, would be fab if it works out!!

Leasha and Pixie, Nakita did the same, which was part of her reason for also not putting on enough weight, so I sit her up and feed and tickle her under the chin to keep her awake!

I forgot to mention that last night and the night before Nakita totally refused my bbs, it was at the 6:30pm feed, Thursday night I gave up, she just screamed with her mouth open and wasn't going to latch on at all, got a ottle of EBM and and she drank away happily, but I think she was trying to tell me that she was too tired to drink from the boobie!! Last night I perservered and she eventually took the bbs, then took a top up of 80ml of EBM anyway!!!

Poo's are nice and regular again too!

Sasha, MT, Kel, Kell, Mel huge hi there, crap I have to go Nakita is awake ready for some playtime!! Hopefully I will get back to finish!!

    Hi everyone,

Thank you thank you thankyou for your messages you all made me feel much better. and after a HUGE D & M we talked out our problems and are now happier then ever.

Vic- Nakita is doing so well and she looks so healthy you wouldn't know she was born really early.

Mel- I would love to catch up with you guys November is out for me though I have sooooo many bookings and catch ups with friends I've had to wirte them down so I don't miss one. Thats great miss M is a cruisy baby How did you go putting her into day care? I might have to do it with Allegra but I said to DF I don't want to cos she's still fresh

Kiwigirl- I'm so glad they took the pics down I read the blog on face book very scary

Squidipa- so sorry for the weight loss do you have another doc appointment soon? If you want to increase your supply try blessed thistle I got some and I wake up with swollen Pamela Anderson boobies

MM- you might have to fill those 2 empty seats in your car can't have them going to waste

Pixie- how exciting a new car! LMAO lazy eye Allegra gets those and her eyes roll back into her head looks a little freaky when you can see a slither of her eye colour and the rest is white.

Leash- none of my kids had a routine to be honest I didn't have the patience to get them to sleep when they didn't want to. How are your driving lessons going?

I'm going to write in another thread about why I'm paranoid I didn't think it was appropriate to put it here

    Howdy all!

Rach - I'm glad they took down your photos! As far as I'm concerned, they really had no choice in the matter!

Squidipa - I'm sorry you had a bad day

Kel - glad everything is sorted with DF Hope it all stays good

Vic - LOL I think (for me anyway) you get to a point where you think "what's one more gonna hurt??" LOL. But Master V is such a gem of a baby (99% of the time) - he just better get used to the idea of getting himself mobile! Well, we'll wait and see anyway!

Mel - sucks that you're back at work

My 2.5yo is sitting on my lap PHSL at the "doh" smiley - he thinks it is putting a hat on and according to him, the "praying" one has a funny dummy!!

Master V has decided it's really fun to alternate between my nipple and his thumb while feeding it's not like anything comes out of his thumb!! LOL

Pixie & Bear - hope the car pick up is going well! And the quick visit to Melbourne!

Hey folks.... quiet in here today
    :tumbleweed:
well today was a bit of a nightmare but tomorrow we are not doing anything. if anyone asks - we're not home, we're not going out and we're not answering the phone! Didn't help that I had two wake ups last night and the Bear is tired too so basically no one was in a good mood to start with.
MM - we are probably going to melbourne next weekend, depending on when the car is ready
Kel - good to hear things are worked out with your DP right there with ya on the paranoid factor!
Vic sounds like you had a great day yesterday
Squiddy - hope you're getting some rest
MT - happy 3rd anniversary and HAPPY 3 MONTHS JETT!!! where is the time going!? I can't believe Beth is 3 months tomorrow...
big wave to everyone else.... is there something up with smileys today or is it just me?

    Hey everyone!

I've been MIA over the last few days again. I went to post the other night but my wireless kept playing up so I couldn't get in. So frustrating!! and since then I have been crazy busy.

I want to write more but I am typing one-handed while expressing so just wanted to say Yay Pixie!, Let's catch up! Where are you picking the car up from?

Squiddy, I am still fully BF, but as I mentioned the other day Jett's 60gm gain for four weeks is putting that in jeopardy, but it is all starting to look promising again

ok, that's my limit, will hopefully get on again tomorrow

    Mwah!

I just had the best day!!!

Yesterday was such a great day!! DH was a gem He has been helping a lot, we did washing - me not even having to ask, he got up for Nakita, if I mentioned that I was going to make a cuppa he did it, also he said I need to write down Nakita's feed times and how much - for the top ups, so he can help out more. He gave me an awesome massage, followed by a nap, we went out for dinner watched Wall E, oh the list goes on. Just so happy it was wonderful

Didn't get the garden done yesterday, but that and some more washing to be done today, plus off to the markets when I have finished expressing, back home to cook breakfast then, prepare lunches for the week, ironing and more cleaning if I have time! Plus he has offered another massage, gosh I feel spoilt!

Nakita also slept from her 11.30pm feed to 7:45 am with the slight exception of a 3 am stir cos I forgot to put my breast pads in her bed

Yay for 12 weeks for Kye, it felt like I was waiting for ever for Kye to be born!

Hugs squidipa I hope you got sleep!

    Milky Waterfalls vibes MT!!!

Pixie, sounds like a shocker! I hope today is better!

Kel, I read your other thread too!

hehe MM I will be watching you too!!!

Must go or the day will be over before i know it!

    Morning guys!

Vic - yay for great day yesterday - I love those days!!!! Our days here are pretty good - not too bad having 2 kids - after the initial shock of it all.. lol.. and yay for huge sleep for Nakita!!!! What a good girl she is!!!

Squidipa - you're worrying me with your health issues!!! You're not getting mastitis are you honey? Please take care of yourself xx

    MT - hi

Pixie chick - happy 3 months gorgeous Beth!!!!!!! MWAH!!!!!!!

Sash - happy 12 weeks Kye!!!! Yay for sleep through!!!

MM - right - whats one more Have you tested yet??

Kel - she went pretty good in daycare - I couldn't drop her off the first day, was too upsetting for me.... but I was fine the other days - but still hard dropping her off at the yucky centre - soooo can't wait till february when she goes to the good centre..

Not much to report here. DH has just taken DS down the street - ooh now they are back - DD is sleeping - another sleep through last night - she's such an angel... DS crawled into bed with us at 5am - toooo early...... then he and DH got up at 6 and I got up at 7 with DD.

Going to family dinner today at SIL's. Soooo not looking forward to it. Just don't want to go. Its going to be crap and I just don't feel like making small talk with people who pretend my DD doesn't exist.

    Ahhh well..

    Hey all

Can anyone tell me how I work out how much formula Kye needs total each day?? He is round about 8kg now I would suspect, didnt get him weighed on friday

He is having 5 bottles a day at the moment pretty much 4 hourly or near to - they are always 170ml.
I have sorta been sticking around the 900-1000ml mark per day, is that too much???
As you can see I am still a bit paranoid he is having too much LOL

Pixie - Nah it aint just you, the smileys are buggered for me too!

Vic - yay for the special day yesterday! Was it ya anniversary or was DH just being nice LOL

Well we had another sleep through last night - Kye went to bed at 8pm and slept until 5:30am - so proud of him!! I guess he is sleeping through now because he is managing to get in his quota during the day so doesnt need the feed at 3am which is excellent as it means I can have a decent run of sleep aswell.

He is also starting to get better now at sleeping during the day too. Still have to have him sleep in the bouncer/rocker but yeah yesterday arvo he did like a 2hr block, couldnt believe it LOL

Anyways gotta shoot to the supermarket quickly.... overcast here so want to get home before it rains.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Sash - I can't remember the exact formula to work out the recommended amount - but Miss M takes about 150-200ml per feed - 5 times a day. So he sounds pretty normal to me hon.

I think at 4 months the formula tin says they go up to 250ml 5 times a day?

sasha i think your giving the correct amount
vic congrats on the sleep threw an the wonderful hubbie.

The breasts mel have calmed down a bit so thats good i think my body is just overly exhausted keeping up with Josh. Normally i have a 3-5pm(starts somewhere i here) body shut down started when pregnant and never really lost it. AHHHHH thats got me thinking iron that might be it. but it seems last 2 days its been here all day everyday

My body is so tired still,
josh has had 5 feeds already so i imagine 9 or 10 total today will be whats gonna happy every 1.5 hours he is back on me. he is so restless at night so i put him in with me and that help(altho i sleep like a sardine) i know he wants more to feed but i just cant do it between 1 and 5am. Think all the sleeping on the couch munted my back its very sore and ive had a constant headache to altho i been drinking so much that i am weeing every 1.5 hours even tho my first real drink of the day is now. been in bed all morning will now progress to couch just thought ld pop me tired head in

sorry sorry sorry cant do personals need to drink/eat then at 12.30 feed again. Might ask hubbie for comfort food pancakes. didnt eat eta last night to tired to make it but hubbie did make my lunch and breaky yesterday gotta weight josh before this feed i hope he hasnt lost more weight or else i am just going to be baffled fair enough im not expressing a i am buggered but he is eating so much more. (don't look forward to tomorrow hubbie at work )

    Hey folks
Well having a MUCH better day today! The Bear took Beth out for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG walk while I went shopping for clothes..... And I actually found some trousers that fit me, cause the only pair I had that fit and I liked were falling apart. The first few shops I tried made me feel like the fattest person in the world, nothing I tried even remotely fit, then I stumbled into this Colorado outlet store and it was fantastic = got 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of black cargos all for $116 and it is all really nice quality stuff, not the trash I normally buy! I'd put a dance smiley in but they don't seem to be working! The Bear and Beth had managed to get all the way to Manly so I went and picked them up, we had a nice breaky and a walk along the beach and went shopping for a new lounge.
All in all a great day! Can't believe Beth is three months old already! It's going toooo quick!
Squidipa = you need to take better care of yourself honey get some rest!
Mel - thanks babe mwah. bugger about the dinner at SIL's!
Sash - yay the sleep through
Vic - sounds like you've got a keeper there!
MT - we might be able to visit you next weekend - if our trip to Melbourne works out, let us know if you're interested?
Anyway, should tidy up a bit, hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Woohoo! Just finished expressing my left boob for the night (just fed Jett before I started from the rhs) and got 150mls, so thanks for the milky waterfalls vibe Vic! I might go and weigh him in the morning to see if something is happening with his weight gain.

Pixie - ooh yep I'm up for a meet up if you are interested! Let me know what your plans are and I'm sure we can figure something out!

Squidipa - I know how you must be feeling with all that feeding and how sore it makes your boobs. I really really hope that Josh doesn't lose any more weight and just starts to stack it on!

Mel - Hi back at ya! I hope SILs dinner wasn't too painful for you!

Sasha - Oh yay for the sleep throughs! And happy 3 months Kye!

As usual I haven't got anything done that I wanted to today. Spent the afternoon doing DH's paperwork so we can get his BAS statement done! So bloody painful! Literally! Being a mechanic workshop it is not set up for doing this sort of thing so I spend my time perched on a very uncomfortable and well worn stool, with the keyboard higher than my elbows and my feet resting on a shelf underneath the desk which is too high and makes my feet and legs go numb. Oh well, hopefully I'll get it all finished in the next couple of days and then I won't have to do it again until next year!

Ok, I really think I should get to bed....

Goodnight all, sleep tight, and sleep well little bubs!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH just lost my post and it was really long and my stupid keyboard was doing that over typing thing so when I would backspace it would type over what I just wrote the stupid key board will be meeting that stupid little home key (where ever that is) or DF will come home to the keyboard through the monitor.

Sorry can't do personals will bbl for them

I had the biggest teary last night we moved Allegra from the bassinet to the cot in her own room. When I looked over at the empty bassinet it made me cry then I looked at the empty spot where it used to be next to our bed and I cried THEN I thought about her being all alone in her cot and cried then I thought about how I will never again have that little baby next to my bed making squeeky baby noises in their sleep because we're not having anymore and guess what I CRIED. DF cuddled me to comfort me I really felt silly but he understood

    Hello Lovelies!

Been a while since Ive been on, but have been so terribly busy! Had my Best Friend fly in from England on Friday morning. Friday night was my hens night. Dinner and Bowling! Yeeha! Then sat was spent tidying up the house. Yesterday was Sevens Baptism, and this week is all getting ready for NEXT sunday which is D Day! OMG so much too do not enough time to do it in!
Seven is a gem, sleeping well, feeding well, and pooping lots! LOL

I will endeavour to get pictures up of the weekend but my computer is having a meltdown so it may take a while.

Sorry for no personals. It might be like that this week I think!

    Hope you are all well.

    Love & Hugs

    Heya everyone ..,

I am still around, have been reading posts, but guess what? I get distracted when I go to reply ... like right now, it was quiet, but it seems like as soon as i hit reply, something happens ... Master V needs a bath and a feed and bed methinks, before he falls asleep in the swing again!

    Try to BBL for personals!
