I just had the best day!!!

Yesterday was such a great day!! DH was a gem He has been helping a lot, we did washing - me not even having to ask, he got up for Nakita, if I mentioned that I was going to make a cuppa he did it, also he said I need to write down Nakita's feed times and how much - for the top ups, so he can help out more. He gave me an awesome massage, followed by a nap, we went out for dinner watched Wall E, oh the list goes on. Just so happy it was wonderful

Didn't get the garden done yesterday, but that and some more washing to be done today, plus off to the markets when I have finished expressing, back home to cook breakfast then, prepare lunches for the week, ironing and more cleaning if I have time! Plus he has offered another massage, gosh I feel spoilt!

Nakita also slept from her 11.30pm feed to 7:45 am with the slight exception of a 3 am stir cos I forgot to put my breast pads in her bed

Yay for 12 weeks for Kye, it felt like I was waiting for ever for Kye to be born!

Hugs squidipa I hope you got sleep!

    Milky Waterfalls vibes MT!!!

Pixie, sounds like a shocker! I hope today is better!

Kel, I read your other thread too!

hehe MM I will be watching you too!!!

Must go or the day will be over before i know it!

    Morning guys!

Vic - yay for great day yesterday - I love those days!!!! Our days here are pretty good - not too bad having 2 kids - after the initial shock of it all.. lol.. and yay for huge sleep for Nakita!!!! What a good girl she is!!!

Squidipa - you're worrying me with your health issues!!! You're not getting mastitis are you honey? Please take care of yourself xx

    MT - hi

Pixie chick - happy 3 months gorgeous Beth!!!!!!! MWAH!!!!!!!

Sash - happy 12 weeks Kye!!!! Yay for sleep through!!!

MM - right - whats one more Have you tested yet??

Kel - she went pretty good in daycare - I couldn't drop her off the first day, was too upsetting for me.... but I was fine the other days - but still hard dropping her off at the yucky centre - soooo can't wait till february when she goes to the good centre..

Not much to report here. DH has just taken DS down the street - ooh now they are back - DD is sleeping - another sleep through last night - she's such an angel... DS crawled into bed with us at 5am - toooo early...... then he and DH got up at 6 and I got up at 7 with DD.

Going to family dinner today at SIL's. Soooo not looking forward to it. Just don't want to go. Its going to be crap and I just don't feel like making small talk with people who pretend my DD doesn't exist.

    Ahhh well..

    Hey all

Can anyone tell me how I work out how much formula Kye needs total each day?? He is round about 8kg now I would suspect, didnt get him weighed on friday

He is having 5 bottles a day at the moment pretty much 4 hourly or near to - they are always 170ml.
I have sorta been sticking around the 900-1000ml mark per day, is that too much???
As you can see I am still a bit paranoid he is having too much LOL

Pixie - Nah it aint just you, the smileys are buggered for me too!

Vic - yay for the special day yesterday! Was it ya anniversary or was DH just being nice LOL

Well we had another sleep through last night - Kye went to bed at 8pm and slept until 5:30am - so proud of him!! I guess he is sleeping through now because he is managing to get in his quota during the day so doesnt need the feed at 3am which is excellent as it means I can have a decent run of sleep aswell.

He is also starting to get better now at sleeping during the day too. Still have to have him sleep in the bouncer/rocker but yeah yesterday arvo he did like a 2hr block, couldnt believe it LOL

Anyways gotta shoot to the supermarket quickly.... overcast here so want to get home before it rains.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Sash - I can't remember the exact formula to work out the recommended amount - but Miss M takes about 150-200ml per feed - 5 times a day. So he sounds pretty normal to me hon.

I think at 4 months the formula tin says they go up to 250ml 5 times a day?

vic congrats on the sleep threw an the wonderful hubbie.

The breasts mel have calmed down a bit so thats good i think my body is just overly exhausted keeping up with Josh. Normally i have a 3-5pm(starts somewhere i here) body shut down started when pregnant and never really lost it. AHHHHH thats got me thinking iron that might be it. but it seems last 2 days its been here all day everyday

My body is so tired still,
josh has had 5 feeds already so i imagine 9 or 10 total today will be whats gonna happy every 1.5 hours he is back on me. he is so restless at night so i put him in with me and that help(altho i sleep like a sardine) i know he wants more to feed but i just cant do it between 1 and 5am. Think all the sleeping on the couch munted my back its very sore and ive had a constant headache to altho i been drinking so much that i am weeing every 1.5 hours even tho my first real drink of the day is now. been in bed all morning will now progress to couch just thought ld pop me tired head in

sorry sorry sorry cant do personals need to drink/eat then at 12.30 feed again. Might ask hubbie for comfort food pancakes. didnt eat eta last night to tired to make it but hubbie did make my lunch and breaky yesterday gotta weight josh before this feed i hope he hasnt lost more weight or else i am just going to be baffled fair enough im not expressing a i am buggered but he is eating so much more. (don't look forward to tomorrow hubbie at work )

    Hey folks
Well having a MUCH better day today! The Bear took Beth out for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG walk while I went shopping for clothes..... And I actually found some trousers that fit me, cause the only pair I had that fit and I liked were falling apart. The first few shops I tried made me feel like the fattest person in the world, nothing I tried even remotely fit, then I stumbled into this Colorado outlet store and it was fantastic = got 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of black cargos all for $116 and it is all really nice quality stuff, not the trash I normally buy! I'd put a dance smiley in but they don't seem to be working! The Bear and Beth had managed to get all the way to Manly so I went and picked them up, we had a nice breaky and a walk along the beach and went shopping for a new lounge.
All in all a great day! Can't believe Beth is three months old already! It's going toooo quick!
Squidipa = you need to take better care of yourself honey get some rest!
Mel - thanks babe mwah. bugger about the dinner at SIL's!
Sash - yay the sleep through
Vic - sounds like you've got a keeper there!
MT - we might be able to visit you next weekend - if our trip to Melbourne works out, let us know if you're interested?
Anyway, should tidy up a bit, hope everyone is having a great weekend!
