morning well Josiah was thinking about being a big stirer last night in a way i am like thank you God!!! i had an engorged boob so at 2.30 i fed him and i felt better. Now maybe i could sleep josh like everyday ended up in bed with me.

PEAD appointment i do hope they thourally investigate i don't think it should be this hard for him to gain weight i mean i been testing theroys out and 4 or 5 feeds a day he looses weight he needs more like 6 feeds plus 300 ml expressed. Or 9 or 10 feeds a day like what i am doing now. Doesn't that sound ridiculous. Got lots of milk here.

I hope they dont just say oh 9 feed a day thats o.k if he is gaining ahh hellloooo ill be like come on thats not normal is it?

BTW i added a new pic to my ticker

how many feeds do you all do dailey and how many ml's of expressed or otehr is that?
plus how many mins total a day do you feed for ours is just under 4 hours in total not sleepy time on boob i don't allow that well cant can i?

    Just quickly ...

Squidipa - wow!! Joshie's holding up his head and sitting!!!????!!! That's fantastic! Veygas is way behind The best he does is try to do sit-ups!! LOL!

We feed 5, maybe 6 times a day, 99% of the time is straight from the boobies. Sometimes on shoppings days, I'll express if I have time, or if he is still asleep when I wake up and has slept through the night, I'll express in the shower, but that is rare. However from the few times I have done it, I have expressed about 200mls and he has scoffed the lot and come back for more! Total daily feeding time is probably an hour / hour and a half?

DS1 fed every 2 hours around the clock for like the first six months and he was a big boy - but I think he needed the extra feeds because he was so big! So yeah, that was 12 times a day for about half an hour each feed!

    GL with the paed hun!

    I'll BBL for more personals!

MM - Beth doesn't try to sit up but can sit pretty well with a bit of support, although she generally gets way too interested in her toes or goes over sideways so it usually ends up in a bit of a faceplant! She seems to have kind of given up on rolling, she will roll onto one side, but since she is usually holding her toes, she isn't going to go any further! her favourite game is still 'baby goes up baby goes down' - sit her on her bottom and hold her hands and pull and she will stand up - sit down - stand up again. She has been into that for ages!
Squiddy - we feed usually 6 or 7 times a day for 20-30 minutes - that's proper feeding time not faffing around or falling asleep on the boobie.
    Leash yay for the driving!

MM - Funny you say this as when I saw the pic I thought something similar.

I had Kye sitting all by himself the other night for about 20 seconds, didnt fall back or forward so I'm gathering he is starting to get good strength in his spine
He's starting to get better on his tummy but tends to be lazy and lie there and suck on his fist hahaha
I guess in his own time he'll get better LOL cant push these things!

On another note, had another sleep through last night 8:00pm till 5:30am

Today has been weird but - he has only drunk small amounts then fallen asleep then woken up then fallen asleep again LOL

Anyways gotta get dinner organised while he's sleeping....

Hi All, been MIA the last couple of days been really busy, DH has been sick, and I had mothers group at my house today, work this morning, but didn't get much done yesterday.

Rachel I just read the latest updates on your little friend, and it has had me in tears, life can be so unfair, I hope she is pain free very soon.

I "sniped" some baby scales on EBAY tonight, for $6.26 (Getzi Electronic Baby Scale) postage was $25 but the RRP is $99 so I am very happy with that price!

I hired a gardener, he maintains the landscaping around our office and I ran out and saw him last week and asked if he did private properties and he did, said it would be 2-3 weeks, that was cool, sent me and sms last night and he came today!! Such an awesome job, we are doing a catchup (weeds!!) today and next time he comes in 3 weeks, then it will be $25 to cut and edge all the lawns, then extra for what ever else he does. I am really happy with that as it is just something I don't need to worry about.

Got a bridesmaid dress fitting tomorrow night so it will be interesting to see if it fits , wedding is in January.

Hope you have a wonderful wedding Kell!!

Yay for all these clever babies sitting lots of rolling, aww so cute!!

Looks like we might be starting solids around Christmas time, Nakita's Paed said to get her started based on her corrected age being 4 months, as her gut would be developed like a 6 month only bub, which is what she will be at Christmas time I can't believe that we will be trying solids in 6 weeks time!!!

    Yay for driving Leasha!!

Hope your Paed appointment went well Squidipa.

Aurrgghhh I am now lost, I will try more personals tomorrow, gotta express and go to bed DH is doing the late feed so I better take advantage and get and early night!

    Morning guys

Squidipa - I have no suggestions for your room/cot problem - I'm sure you will come up with a solution that makes you happy.... but if you want him in your room for as long as possible, I can't see any problem with that Miss M is in her own room now, in her cot, she doesn't seem to have a problem with it!!! And that is such a cute pic on your ticker.. he is getting so big and strong!!!!

Leasha - thats a huge drive honey!!! Well done!!! And I take it no other cars were hurt at all hehe.. I really shouldn't tease, I nearly ran over an old lady when I was having my driving exam in Caloundra.. hehe... (and to think I still got my licence?? lol) When are we meeting up again.. I'm getting bored on my days off!!!!!

Vic - we sooo need a gardener here.. we are pathetic... we did move some stones/rocks into an old sand pit.. then the stupid dogs dug them all up, so now we have little rocks and sand all over the backyard... *sigh* and for starting solids... that has come around so quickly!!!!!

Nothing new here.. Miss M still sleeping through, Master A still isn't... lol

Better go get out of my jarmies I guess.. Miss M sounds as if she is getting a bit tired... Master A is a bit clingy today, so she might have to be settled by her swing me thinks!!!!!

    Good morning Everyone!

I know, I went missing again.... just so much on at the moment and I always think that I will read posts now, and reply when I can sit down and really concentrate on it.... but that time never comes. When will I learn?

Well, I did go and Jett weighed on Monday, just to see if we are moving in the right direction after only 60gm gain in 4 weeks. After stressing over my milk supply and generally feeling like crap and helpless last week I think my milk finally came good over the weekend and the result was

    195gm gain in a week!!

What a relief! So we are at least on the way. My milk is still a bit up and down and I am still having to play with the feeding amount and times as I think feeding both sides every 2hours ish is still resulting in overfeeding (when my milk is good) as he has woken up screaming a couple of times, but only feeding one side every 2hours ish is not allowing me to maintain my supply. So I am experimenting a little this week and I will go back next Monday and see what the result is. We will then make a decision on what is the best way forward from here. But overall I am happy, Jett is still happy but his feeding is much calmer which is fantastic.

We have our last official mothers group today so we are going to the pub for lunch! Yum! Now I just need Jett to fall asleep so I can go and have a shower!

I will try to come back for personals later.... and I do mean it, I promise!
