    Hey all (and Vic!)

Been at work for the last few days - DH has been a SAHD - which I think he really enjoyed - although he only had to look after DS and not both of them at once - which is much more difficult!!!!! On their own - they are easy peasy to look after - both at once - not so much!!! lol

Anyhoo thats my excuse for not putting my ugly mug in here.

Sasha - woohoo on the weight gain - thats fab!!!!!!

Vic - yeah insane storms up here - unfortunately most of them were around where I am - and not over us - arghhh so frustrating having to deal with the humidity waiting for the storm and then the storm going around us so we don't get any relief... its already in the 80% humidity area and 25 degrees.. yukkoo.. supposed to storm again today, so HOPEFULLY we get something!!!!!!

Don't have a chance to get more personals out - DS is sticking his fingernail under my toe nail on my big toe - and OMG - I hate that sensation soooo much.. makes my skin crawl... better go check on the baby - I put her down and put her dummy in and walked out (cos she self settles usually) so I'd better go check!!!

Love, hugs and kisses to all - my love and affection are FREE you know

    *MWAH!!*

    Hello
Err, busy I guess Vic! Although not entirely sure what I've been doing! Yesterday just went shopping in the morning and mothers' group in the afternoon.... went out for dinner on thursday night... before that just trying to recover from our bear-brained adventure to melbourne last week!
Tonight we said we would go out to dinner for a friends' birthday.... but we didn't realise we couldn't take Beth, we always take her when we go out for dinner. So I will have to ask my SM to babysit.... seems a waste of good babysitting to be honest because it's going to be really truly awful - it's an indian restaurant (that part is fine) with a karaoke bar or show or something.... we were supposed to pick songs for the birthday boy (50 something and very fat texan guy) to sing... I couldn't even bear to look at the options!
Hope all you Qld ladies are ok with those storms, what a wild couple of days!
Squiddy hope you find out what's going on with J
    Vic - cute cargos!
MM - your change table just has .... other priorities!
Leash thanks for adding me on FB
MT - what movie did you see? My folks keep saying we should go to the movies, but that's just cause they are desperate to baby sit!
Got my Yummy Mummy day spa treatment tomorrow at the observatory hotel - birthday pressie from the Bear - it took 5 weeks to get an appointment!
I posted some new photos in my members gallery, of the meetup with one of my July Baby Buddies if anyone is interested
    hope this link works

    Yeah, Vic, busy!

House hunting, dealing with a teething clingy baby ... it's funny, he's fine when I'm holding him, or sitting and looking at him while he's in his rocker or swing - he laughs and smiles, but as soon as I turn my back or just stop looking at him, he cries

Pixie - I understand about taking kids out to dinner ... we always take all of ours everywhere!! LOL! If it's somewhere that the kids aren't welcome, we usually don't go But it's usually too hard to organise someone else to look after them anyway!

Mel - hope Master A is feeling better

Squidipa - I'm pretty crap at guessing ... but I'll go with 210 grams

Anyways, hope everyone else is good. I'm gonna try get some sleep ...

Just quickly before I go, I asked Veygas if we could not have a 3am wake up the other night and he didn't wake til 5am (I was hoping for at least 6am) and then last nigh he slept through again! But I'm not holding my breath, I know he's not in the best of spirits with these toothy pegs trying to pop through....

Hopefully try to get on again tomorrow.

    Night all!

Hey folks.... well Beth had a really odd day, was crying and clingy most of the day, I think she had diarrhea or a tummy upset or something. Bear's parents were going to baby sit but I couldn't leave her with someone when she was feeling so sorry for herself. So we didn't go out to dinner, just stayed at home, the Bear cooked something delish and we watched the Bill. Gave her some panadol and she was good as new!
MM I know what you mean about the clinginess.... Beth is a bit like that when having bad days with her teeth, and it's really not like her at all... and I forgot to say yesterday
    HAPPY FOUR MONTHS VEYGAS!!!!!
    Squidipa I'll guess 300 grams
mel - mwah me wuvs ya
to everyone hope you're having a great weekend!

Had a super busy day yesterdaym but was really good

Bridesmaid dress fitting went well, picked up Nakita's high chair, will put some piccies on our blog later today I hope, she loved it and looks soo cute!! She can just see above the tray

Saturday is no poo day in our house She did an explosive one all over daddy! So much so that I weighed it (and the weight excluded allt he poo on dady and her own clotes and the change table, adn it was 265gram - the nappy of 30grams, it was a clean one too so not a lot of pee!!! I put her on the scales as well and post poo she was 5115 (so 35 grams up from Wed (hehe, which doesn't bother me in the slightest, and was just for fun).

I have just been tot he farmer's markets (a different set than I usually go to) got lots of lovely meats and vegies, costs more than my normal markets but nice for a treat

    HAPPY 4 MONTHS VEYGAS!!!!

Squidipa, hmmm my guess is 290 grams

Nice that Veygas listened to you MM, hopefully he lengthens that out more!

I hope Beth has a better day Pixie, big hugs for her!

Mel I don't envy the humidity, but would lvoe lots mroe rain, we had a bit her yesterday and the night ebfore, but need to theck the BOM site to see what is coming up

Well must runa dn get organised, little miss will be up very shortly, been 4 hours since she has fed (8.15am) and her feed before that was midnight! She is sleeping soundly still, she slept a lot yesterday too, hope she is feeling okay and not coming down with anything!!

    morning all!!! (just!)

Vic - such a gorgeous pic in your ticker!!!! sooo cute!!!!!!!

MM - so sorry mate - missed the 4 months for V... sorry sorry sorry!!! forgive me?!?!

Squidipa - no ideas here mate, but I hope its a good one. When are you guys thinking of TTC again (just in relation to your girl comment )

Hello to everyone else - all here is good, well, happy etc..

DS is much better - still gets tired more than usual, but we've stopped the antibiotics now, so hopefully he'll pick up by tomorrow. Now DH is sick it never ends!!!!!

Miss M is on a pretty good routine here at the moment, not sure how long it will last!!! Wake up 6.30 and feed
    Go to bed at 8am
    Wake up 9.30 and feed
Go to bed at 11 am
Wake up at 1.30 and feed
    go to bed at 3pm
Wake up around 4.30 and feed
    Go to bed at 6
We wake her up at 8.30 and feed - then straight back to bed
    Wake up at 6.30am!

Yup, can't ask for a more perfect baby! I think she was up at 5.30 today, but spent about an hour chattering away to herself in the bedroom.. she's such a little angel.. maybe I should stop at her - cos the next one might not be as good.. lol

Suppose I'd better get off my fat butt and do something

Since both kids are asleep and everything. Oh and we tried to get her the next size teat, but she just splutters, coughs and chokes, so she's still on the newborn teats..

Wow Squiipa March next year!!! Good Luck!! I'm not going to be ready then I don't think!!

It was huge - haha!! But it shows that massive difference in weight with poo'ing and pee'ing!!! Especially when little Miss is holding them in for days now!

Oh thanks for your comments about her clothes, I don't think I will be selling them though, waiting to see what we have in the future! She has a lot of "brand" clothing but if I buy it, it is never full price, usually half price of less, and mroe often cheaper than the non brand stuff! I am a bargain hunter!

*EDIT, HIGHCHAIR PICTURES ARE ON OUR BLOG NOW!* LINK BELOW IN SIG.

    Must go back to jobs!!

Mel - Funny you say this as I was thinking on Friday it must just about be time to change K's teat. I checked out the packet in the chemist (been using Pigeon brand) and actually noticed the 'small' teat says 2-3mnth+ .... do you HAVE to change teats as they get older... I'm guessing you would as why else would they make em???
    Whats the difference?

Re: routines - K's is still good. He is still sleeping through the night Most nights is usually in bed by 8:30pm and sleeps through until between 5 and 6am

He had another swim in our pool yesterday, he is so good in the water. I had a hold of him under his armpits and was lifting him up out of the water then lowering him back down and he was cracking up laughing, was sooo cute!! I'm so pleased he hasnt cracked it but I guess being a waterbirth baby he's semi used to it hehe

I've also been looking around to try and find a baby swim class, have found a few but now just need to ring up and enquire as to days, times etc

Anyways the man is asleep so I'm gonna grab something to eat while I can LOL

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

EDIT: I added a pic of Kye taken the other day to my album, i think its such a cute one of him!! https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...hp?photo=10993

Sash - difference is the flow - so as they get older, the newborn teats are apparently too slow for them and they get frustrated with it. Which is what we thought was happening cos she's been off her bottles a bit lately - even daycare thought so too - but NOPE.. still newborn for her.
I wouldn't switch his teats until you think he is getting fussy with the flow. We replace ours every 2 months as well, saves them from getting old and slipping into the bottle neck when they suck (we use the pigeon ones too)

Vic - no babies in march for you huh We'll start trying in June.... well.. we'll see what happens if we move or not

Better go have lunch and check on Miss M... just as I wrote up her normal routine before- she has gone and bloody changed it on me today.. lol

Nah, not just yet, I need to take into consideration that I am high risk
I have a 50% of have a prem, 33% chance it will be between 31-35 weeks. So I need to be in a position to be able to deal with that should it happen (although hoping that we get to go FT!!!). There are so many complicaitons that come with a prem, will depends on how early, care required, time in hospital, having another bub to look after etc. So we have to take all of that into consideration.

Re: routines - K's is still good. He is still sleeping through the night Most nights is usually in bed by 8:30pm and sleeps through until between 5 and 6am
    Awesome Sasha, hope it continues!!!

Goodluck packing SB, hope you move goes well

Must run, my lamb roast is cooked!!!

    Hey folks!
Busy in here today.... I just got back from my day spa treatment the Bear got me as a birthday present.... it was great! so relaxing, felt very pampered! The Bear looked after Beth, but unfortunately we haven't given her a bottle for a while and little miss seems to have forgotten milk comes in bottles as well as boobies! the Bear had a bit of a battle on his hands apparently! Then he gave her all the milk in the fridge - about 240mls! Will have to make sure we give her a bottle every week or so so she doesn't forget again!
anyway Bear is in Singapore next week so it will just be me & DD from tuesday til friday.
Beema woah on the poo - that was huge! you should have named it! LOL
SB ... good luck with the packing and moving!
Mel, Squiddy you're all so keen on the TTC.... not planning the second one - Mel I think I am like you, I'm scared the next one won't be as good as DD! Beema I know what you mean about being high risk, even though we only had that issue with DD not breathing when she was born, and it is unlikely to happen again it still gives me pause when thinking about TTC another one. Well just wait for the mood to strike I guess!
Sash cute pic of Kye, and great that he is sleeping through..... Last night was a good one for DD after all that, last feed at 9.55 and didn't wake up till nearly 8am!
to MM Rach MT and everyone.... gotta run, baby grizzling!
