To our thread Beckoes A lovely bunch of chatty Mums, Bubs and the Bear.
Grace is a beautiful name, one of the ones we were considering
Nakita was born on the 30th June but was due on the 14th August, so I stayed with my Belly Buddies when they moved over here as we didn't relate very well with the bubs in the June group!

MM I hope the teething isn't too painful for Veygas! Lots of hugs!

Kel, hopefully you get rid of them in less than a year!! Allegra looks soo cute in the highchair and has the same problem as Nakita - struggling to look over the tray!!

I hope you get to have a huge party Squidipa!!!

Sasha, hmm what's better, little sleep during the day or sleeping all night? I hope he is feeling better and hope the cold doesn't get any worse

Mel I can't believe you told DH over email!!!

MT I loved your story, just beautiful I did 3 tests, and I think i still have them in a zip lock bag!!!

Well been crazy busy day, got to work about 7.45am, worked until 11:30am, bolted home, cooked some bacon, egg, mushroom, tomato and cheese pastries (yummo) and grabbed some fresh cherries (our irrigation guy owns a cherry farm as well!!) and went to mothers group, was a lovely day, then post office and back home. Nakita hardly slept and has been grumpy, she is asleep in the swing atm but I will wake her in 15 min, give her her last feed them into bed for my little munchikin Then I can do a load of nappies, down to one Pea Pod so better get them on the line!!

    So better run!!!

beckoes, good to have you on board! Mel and I are also in the July group, cause our babies were so fashionable they were nearly 2 weeks late!
Mmmm I think the Bear was telling me I was pregnant but I was in denial about it. He was in Singapore for work but I was talking to him on the phone while I did the POAS. I was going to wait until the morning but the Bear couldn't wait LOL The line was really, really faint, so faint I couldn't be sure .... I think I did about 3 in the end!
Kel, love the photo! will have to get a high chair for DD
    Vic - you're such a dynamo! LOL
MM congrats on the home loan! how exciting!
Sash - Beth kicks off her blanket too, have to get her a new sleeping bag. The old one that came with her hammock says 0-6 months but she doesn't like it any more cause it restricts her legs kicking around! She hates to be tied down!
well had a good day today - had coffee and cake with SIL, drove Bear to the airport and then went round to my dad's place for dinner. Saw my brother and his g/friend who is six months pregnant.... came home gave DD a feed and put her to bed! Bay walk tomorrow so fingers crossed the weather is nice!
anyway gonna hit the hay shortly so to squids, melski, MT, rach and everyone else, have a great night

    Hey Everyone!

Welcome Aboard Bec and Grace. You are more than welcome to join in and there is no such thing as being too late... unless you try to join when your bub is 6 years old! I think we get disbanded then!

Sasha - Sorry to hear Kye is sick

MM - Yay on the home loan! Exciting times ahead! I hope you find a house soon, not like us. We looked just about every weekend for 6 months.... but it was worth it. I love my house!

Kel - I commented on your highchair photo - so very very cute!

Hi Mel, Leash, Rach, Kell, SB and anyone else I've missed!

My day has been interesting....sort of. Went for my usual Tuesday morning walk this morning which was really nice. The weather was fantastic, lovely and sunny but not too hot. Tyson, my dog, absolutely loved it bounding around the open spaces, playing with other dogs he met and chasing birds and rabbits. Jett seemed to enjoy it too, stayed awake the whole time. Did a massive poo when we got back though! He seems to have cut his poos down to every 3rd day now. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not... on one hand there isn't a whole stack of pooey nappies sitting around ready to be washed, but on the other hand when there is one OMG!!!! mg:

Then this afternoon we got notification that one of my SIL called Lifeline last night and was now missing. So we did a lot of running around trying to locate her. She came home tonight, so is no longer missing and at least she is safe. But she is denying calling the line and now my other two SILs have told her that we don't know so we have to pretend we know nothing. Not going to be easy. I wish they hadn't and were just truthful about it.

Ok, I'm off! Will chat more tomorrow!

MT - I'm glad your SIL was found - and yes, people just need to be more honest...

Kel - thats a great pic.. she loooks soooo relaxed..soo verry chilled out.. man...

Vic - nooo not down to one nappy!!! lol... I hate that feeling.. luckily it hardly ever happens here - unless there has been 5 days of rain or something *cough cough*

MM - yay on the loan - looking to the sunny coast for houses? hehe

Hmmm.. Aricyn is chucking a tantie.. dunno why.. he asked for "mulk..." then "cow" which is his words for "can i have a yoghurt please mummy" and then i get it for him, and he runs off and starts bumping his head into the carpet.. meh.. I'll never understand toddlers..

Been a few rough nights here - I suspect its the bath water that she has swallowed - her belly doesn't like it... well. thats what I THINK has been the problem.

Arrghh now toddler is annoying me... better go!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi to all

:Mel and I are also in the July group, cause our babies were so fashionable they were nearly 2 weeks late!
    leap:
Grace was born almost two weeks over her due date aswell, was almost induced but luckily went in to labour a day before i was due to have the induction.

Squidipa: congrats on your little ones weight gain.

Saw a few photos, have to try and work out how to get a photo of Grace on here.

Kel84, mountain mummy: checked her gums and they look abit swollen and white, and seems much happier when chewing on something (anything) . so could well be teething!!

Well, been struggling to get her to sleep in the days much, even though i can see she is so tired, we have an electric rocker we used when she was a baby and that is the only place she will sleep in the day, although she will be too big for it soon...try every sleep time to get her to put her in her cot, but she just screams till she is beside herself. sleeps great in there at night.
Also,I have been wrapping her since birth and she has just started to get herself unwrapped and wakes up...was up every two hours last night to re-wrap...should i try to teach her to sleep unwrapped, any tips??

    Thanks

Been catching up on all the posts, well trying anyway... Haven't been online since last Saturday, my sis has been up since Monday.

Went to the dr, found that Jazz DOESN'T have craniostenosis which is EXCELLENT!!!! Still an incredibley bumpy and flat head so off to the chiro Mel goes to (finally lol) and lots of things to try and sort it out.

Had our CHN appointment Monday too, to talk about her day feeds and sleeps. Got some ok strategies. Still working on it. I have to be a strong mummy when she protests her day sleeps. Tuesday was pretty rough, yesterday was great, today not so much. Yesterday we had two big sleeps (one was 1hr 50min, the other was 1hr 20min) plus one 35 minute sleep. The feeds were still all over the place, our aim is less than 10 feeds a day with each feed at least 2 hrs apart and for 20 minutes or more, and 2-3 day sleeps that are 1-2 hrs each... which would be great for me, at the moment she's all over the place with 10minute feeds every 60-90 minutes, and cat napping 10-30 minutes at a time maybe 3 times a day. I so hope this works or I'll be going to a day stay to save my sanity. Nights are fine though, 8pm til 1.30-3.30am, and then til sleep 4-6am. She doesnt party at her night wake anymore either, just awake for booby then sleep.

Ok, geez my computer turned itself onto standby... have been trying to settle her for the last hour Friggen screaming blue murder at me... I feel like crying with her most times
    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
For crying out loud, she's awake again

Leasha: hi, how are you, ive talked to you on BB before, Jazz looks so cute in your photo!! she sounds just like Grace the way she feeds and sleeps!! i have to admit that i feed her to settle her nearly 100% of the time, which i probably shouldnt! glad she is well.

Leash honey, if it makes you feel better then by all means cry with her!! When my eldest was a baby, he was very similar to Jazz - never wanting to sleep, always wanting to feed and sometimes when he cried, I'd just hold him and sit on the lounge or lie on the bed and cry too ... in fact, I have done that with all of them now! Big for you hun! And for Jazz not having craniostenosis!!! with the chiro!

That reminds me - does anyone know how to get allergy tested? DD came up all blotchy / welts and swollen the other day, out of the blue and all over her body, face, arms, legs ... took her to the ED where they checked her over, gave her a dose of antihistamines and said it was an allergic reaction that could have been caused by ANYTHING!!!

Anyway, might post in medical conditions forum as well!

    mwah! xxx
