hi leasha, i so hear you about doing fewer feeds wow does it make a difference.I bet you feel more rested?

Josh was up at 3.30 so i had to get up and come to lounge room. I ended up falling asleep on couch with Josiah and DS3 awoke me slightly when he woke as he came in lounge and put a blanket on me i was really wowed out about that but to tired at time to comment.

Josiah is on a round 8 feeds a day, and we can so tell he is gaining...his official weigh in is tomorrow and its such a wonderful feeling knowing he is gaining weight not loosing. Josiah doesn't sleep during day very much and its all a bit full on wants to be cuddled constantly or played with constantly. At after 3pm he then goes down to sleep for few hours if we are lucky then wake to feed and straight back out at 8 then wake to feed again at 11.30 then again at 2 and 5 then up for the day so i guess i cant complain to much i think maybe i need to go to bed earlier.

so anyone want to submit any last minute guesses on Josiah's weigh in tomorrow?

mel i hope you get time off also over Christmas seems like its all a juggling act at the moment poor you big

Pixie good on ay going to pump class!!! well DONE!!! no way i am up for that!

    HAPPY 4 MONTHS TO EVERYONE!!!!

becka i so hear ya on the wow factor of 4 months there is such a big difference in them from 4 moths back. even with Josiah growing so slow.

Hubbie started new job today but once again not many hours and it may just be for 2 weeks but doesn't matter at least it pays hey. been flat out catching up up things yesterday i finally sanded down the park bench and sealed it looks great now. and catching up on things round house. Well Josiah is sleep so i much go hang these clothes out while i can and sneak something to eat too.

    Hi everyone!

Leash - so glad Jazz is co-operating with you!! And yay for her solids!! It's good that she likes the melons and pumpkin - they're some of the more watery foods, so possibly she is finding them easier to digest than the carb-loaded potatoes! Have you tried mixing pumpkin and potato together to make it a bit more watery? I used to do big batches of veges and freeze them in ice cube trays, then put the frozen cubes in zip lock bags with what vege they are and the date they were frozen - that way, you can start mixing and matching veges But unfortunately with V's eczema, I have been told to wait a bit before solids and then to introduce one at a time to make sure he doesn't have reactions ...

Bummer about having a high maintenance family And woohoo for the new dress!!

Pixie - definitely come visit when we've moved!! I'm excited about it (but not about the packing and moving!! ) I think V's wake-up the other night was a freak occurrence - he slept all the way through again last night! That was almost like all the babies got on the phone to each other making arrangements to all wake up around the same time! LOL!

Squidipa - I'm glad Joshie is picking up his game! How cute about your DS putting a blanket on you!

Big to Vic, Sash, MT, Mel, Kat, Alesia, Bec, Kel, CM4E, Rachel (did I miss anyone??? Sorry if I did) Hope everyone is having a good day!

    mwah! xxx

mm, i bought these really great tupperware ice cube trays off ebay, pink and purple, with a lid so the cubes dont get covered in freezer guck. I havent tried mixing yet though, will give it a go, though she probably takes after Shel in that lol, Shel hates mashed potato with a passion!

Hi all, just a really quick one, a bit of a vent....sorry.

Had Graces immunisations at 2 today, she was fine, a bit of a cry but only for a few mins, i was worse!! we saw the doc for literally two mins before the jabs, wasnt our normal doc as she was on hol, never seen this other doc before, she marched in to the room, had a really quick look at Grace, asked her age and weight then proceded to tell me i should think about substituting my milk with formular as grace wasnt over the ''line'' (50th persentile line in red book, she is 6kgs...to be over the line she should be 6.2kg,) she was so rude about it and even if she was a little under weight there are ways of dealing with it, even DH thought she was off.

Well, anyway have to run, hope all are well.

Oh Bec! Here is my worth! That doc sounds horrible and don't you dare listen to her! We've had many discussions in here about weight of the babies, and the conclusion is that there has to be some babies at the 0 line and some at the 100 line, otherwise how do they get the 50th line??? Some babies grow slower than others, or will always be under average due to genetics, but that doesn't mean they are underweight. My bub is one of them. We had a scare a few weeks ago where he only put on 60gms in 4 weeks, but the last 4 weeks he put on 700gms and before that he always put on weight at a steady, but slow rate. He is on the 10th percentile for weight and HC, but his height is at the 50th line. My health nurse has looked at him and said that he is happy, he looks healthy and in proportion so there is no problem. And from what I can see in your photo Grace looks healthy, in proportion and cute as a button!

Leasha - I have those ice cube trays too for the same reason. Haven't got round to buying the veges yet to put in them! lucky he's not yet on solids! We also have the bumbo with the tray and it is really good for his toys. They too get pushed off but I think that is half the fun for him!

MM - Yay on putting an offer on a house! Exciting times for you! It will be so nice for you to move in to a house that you love! Is it on realestate website? Are there pics we can see? I hope V's scratch heals up quickly. Strange for a scratch to keep bleeding though... I hope it is nothing to worry about either.

Mel - Just thought you needed one!

    to everyone else!

Jett is still snuffly, but at least he didn't wake up in the middle of the night again last night. He has actually slept most of today, but was a bit grizzly when he was awake. Hopefully this will pass soon.

I was writing my birth story the other night (link is in my sig if you are interested, but don't feel obliged ) and I was going through our old belly buddies thread. It brought tears to my eyes reading all the excitement we all had as people went and had their babies (eg. Squidipa), or were waiting for something, anything to happen (Kel and Sasha). Vic was offering cheers of support and eviction! I was right back there while reading it, even though I wasn't able to be on line then. I just thought I would share that with you! Worth a read if you can be bothered!!

whats gonna work teeeeam work! omg I hear that every day Cadence loves the wonder pets.

Bec- Don't worry about the 'line" Cadence was for ever under it what a stupid doctor. No wonder mums get post natal depression! you're doing a great job

MT- I hope Jett doesn't want to party all night if he's slept all day For some reason I was thinking about how I would sit at the computer running to the toilet early pregnancy and with my big belly in the way late pregnancy it seems like years ago now hee hee

MM- PMSL Norman Gunston! is everything ok now?

Squidipa- It melts our heart when kids do something so special like wrapping you up with a rug how gorgeous. I reckon a weight gain of 150g congrats to your hubby for his job!

Pixie- you'll have to keep us informed on the teething front. any signs of the teeth breaking through the gums? Teeth are funny as they can go up and down especially the molars but they are a while off yet

Leash- thats fantastic that Jazz has favourite foods and i'm glad that her feeds are a little less demanding on you she was just ready for something more a little earlier by the sounds of it

Mel- I hope today was a little less busy for you. I have to say Hi 5 annoys the crap out of me I hate how they talk like babies especially Charli and there's a song that goes "Heeeeeeeey what ya doin hey whats cooking what ya cooking up for me" I think ah ha so thats were they pick up the million question thing

hello everyone I missed lots of hugs and baby slobery kisses

I have to say I am VERY happy with Allegras routine bed at 10:30pm awake at 8am I'm just waiting for the change or a bad night.
Does anyone elses baby get really excited and kick their arms and legs really fast? Allegra does it a lot when she's on the change mat she's at chest height for me and my poor boobies get kicked around like soccer balls and it hurts like hell

Kel - K has changed his routine. I had two nights of him waking up at 3:30am but last night he slept through again
He did go to bed later last night - gave him his last bottle at 8:30pm (has been having it around 7:30pm for a weeks now) so I'm thinking this is the new routine we will be on now for a while

K gets excited too when I have him on his change mat. I figured it was because he can see the border that we have on the wall all around his room as he always looks up and tilts his head back. Goes mental with his legs, its quite hiliarious actually

MM - good explanation as to babies weights/percentiles!

Bec - Try to ignore that doctor. Dont ya just love it how docs do that. I am truly lucky I have the greatest doctor. When I saw him last time round he commented and said "hes a big boy isnt he" I'm like ahhhh yeah got DH to thank for that LOL

K has always been big right from birth and I have had MANY people tell me that so I beat them to it now and say "yes hes a big boy" before they do
I think all that matters is that G is PUTTING ON weight and at a consistent rate and that she is in proportion and she's happy! I let things get to me for a while cause they were saying K is putting on too much weight each week but I know I aint overfeeding him. He is happy so to me thats all that matters!

Dont take any notice of that doctor re: starting formula. Thats a ridiculous thing to say. You are breastfeeding and doing a great job, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Anyways busy morning ahead, Yoga again at 11am hopefully Kye will sleep today

Better run and get organised before he wakes up.

    Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Congrads, you done it!!! Well, don't eve bother to listen this stupid doc., besides being rude, she is just very unprofessional. We are 5.5kg and not a single doc said us we have to switch to formula - that's just the most rediculous thing ever suggested!

    Hello to everyone girls!
I have a question - who intreoduced solids and been couple weeks on them, what is poop of your bubs? and how much do they eat?
We switched to plastecine poop, no more liquid one. Was a bit convinced but it doesnt worry pumpkin at all. She does them couple times a day, but the question is it permanent consistence
We eat all 110ml of veges, favourites are corn and pumpkin, carror and zukkini goes well too. I started about 2 weeks ago, and did not think she could go to this volume so quick. Katya starts to cry if I stop on half of jar so I have to keep going and after all she still have a drink from one boobie - little piggy!!!! Which volume your bubs eat now?
Wish you all good nights, without night parties!
    cheers
