    Hi all

So, you might be thinking what the heck am I doing posting at 1:40 in the morning. Well the boy decided to wake up didnt he, just given him a drink and he's fast asleep again He ended up only having about 680ml for the day yesterday (I know not very much) so I was expecting him to wake up for another bottle but more like around 9pm-10pm not now LOL oh well ..... got tied up with the tennis last night so didnt get a chance to get back to catch up on the posts so thought I'd do it now before going back to bed.

Official results from yesterday's weigh in:
    Weight - 10.1kg
    Length - 74cm

Kel - welcome back! Re: teeth it looks like Kye has one on the bottom left coming up. I saw it yesterday when he was laughing. Could be ages before it breaks through but

MT - your camping trip sounded great. Good to hear Jett is going well with the BLS. How's he doing weight wise now?

Mel - sorry to hear Miss M had an unsettled day yesterday, K was similar too actually. I had to go out twice and he soooo didnt wanna be in his car seat, cracked it majorly while I was trying to do the belt up, once we got going though he fell straight asleep, little bugger LOL

Anyways back to bed for me - I'm walking with a friend at 6:30am so I guess I better get a few more hours sleep!

    Morning all

Sasha - I hope you woke up well this morning after your late night Today has started off better than yesterday already - she's down for a nap now - huge improvement from yesterday. I think she has a tooth coming through as well - also on the bottom - but on the right DS got both the middle teeth through at once when he was first teething, but it feels like she is just cutting the one.
And OMG - 10kg?!?!?! Geez mine needs to stack some weight on me thinks!!!! lol.... I'll take mine to the docs next week if I can get an appointment - have to take DS for his 2 year check up anyway.

    Hello to everyone else

Going to take DS down to daycare today - he starts junior kindy on friday instead of being in the toddler room, so thought I should take him down there and get him acquainted with the new people, new toys etc.... plus get the girls in the baby room to actually meet Miss M - she starts her first day there on Friday (yayyy out of the yucky ABC centre for good!)

Thats all from here! Have a good day all.

    Morning everyone
wow Sasha I hope you caught up on sleep. 10KG thats awsome! I was expecting teeth a lot sooner but I think Allegra is going to do things a lot later then Cadence.

Mel- All ABC centres must be the same I had Cadence in one when she was 9 months and it was very yucky.

Squidipa- Monday at the new time suits me I can't wait to catch up! Goodluck car seat hunting.

MT- Camping sounds like sooo much fun! I've never heard of a baby loving lettuce very healthy food choice there mr Jett

I forgot to mention I have Allegra in daycare one day a week now while I go to work. Today was here second day she was a very good girl on her first day. When I left both times she stared back at me with her big blue eyes as if to say mum where are you going? breaks my heart

I can't believe it, Beth just fell asleep on my shoulder. She hasn't done that for nearly 3 months! She must be completely knackered! put her to bed hopefully she will have a nice long nap and I can get some mummy time!
Kel - great to see you back - I LMAO at your Joys of Parenthood thread! classic!
Mel - mwah! hope you're having a better day!
Sash 10kg!!! wow you must have such a sore arm, bet you're packing some serious biceps!
squiddy I can relate re the computer, had the same thing last week, my mac cracked it and I had to use my old laptop for a week... seemed very clunky going back to it!
MT Beth loves banana and bread too - although most of it gets smeared on her fact and clothes ... haven't tried carrot, did you cook it first? We have heaps so I should probably give it a go.
Anyhoo, better go do stuff while bubba is asleep.... big to all

Forecast for the next week is nuts too, not looking forward to it at all!!

N has just crashed, finally!!! I think we might be skipping solids tonight and just more boob... will wait and see, she usually has solids shortly but had an extra boob instead and I am not waking her up now!!

Cut my hair off today, 13 inches!!! Now I have a nice short dark bob

    Wow Sasha!! that is impressive!

So the 8th Feb aye Mel!! Better be worth the wait!!! Nappy Queen!!! Yay for the new daycare too

Glad you had a very Aussie weekend MT, just thing thing to celebrate Australia Day!

Pixie - Yeah I cook the carrot first. Cook it so it is soft but still holds form. If I don't cook it enough he ends up biting off pieces that are a bit big and then spends the whole meal gagging it back up and trying again!! The smearing is half the fun of food!!

Kel - That look you are talking about will break my heart when I eventually go back to work too. I hate leaving him in the gym creche for an hour!! I am gonna miss my daily doses of smiles!

Mel - Awww! Junior kindy....no longer a toddler? Why do they have to grow up so quick?

Sasha - Wow! 10kgs, that is too hard for me to imagine. Jett is only just over 6kgs!!

Squidipa - Poo about the pooter. That is so frustrating!

ETA: Beema - Wow!! Hot here too, has just peaked (in my local area) at 42.4, at 5.00pm!! Stoopid weather... am thinking I will hang out in a shopping centre tomorrow!! I need to get Jett out of the house, but it needs to be cool.

I think Jett can recognise his name now.... I called it out today and he stopped grizzling, looked at me and waved his arms and legs about very excitedly. I said it a few more times, added a few other phrases and words and each time I said "Jett" he would pause and wave his arms and legs about. Maybe?

ETAA: Ooh and since writing my post, Jett has just sat on his own for the first time. I haven't practiced it much with him cos he always prefers to stand. We had a little go yesterday with very limited success, so I thought I would give him another go just now and he did it straight away. Even had the fine tuning movements happening and was able to reach out and play with a toy!! I'm such a proud Mummy right now, cos it looks like he just figured it out on his own last night before going to sleep!!! I can just see him nows while playing with his fingers thinking to himself "Next time I'll try putting my hands out in front of me and if I wiggle my butt a little bit I just might be able to stay upright.....yeah I'll give that a go next time...."

Vic- what voucher? I may have thrown it away I hope you don't need it WAAAHH!
45 degrees HOLY MOLY! I'd be making sure my pool gets built quick smart

Pixie- I was laughing at all the other stories too! LOL at the banana facial. It's so cute when they fall asleep in your arms makes you feel so special.

MT- I know she cried when she had to go gt changed before I could take her home and she couldn't see me anymore there was a tiny little tear rolling down her face. How long till you go back you reckon? I say if you can go back part time or casual to start with going back full time is soooo hard. Thats fantastic that Jett recognises his name

I just had one of those tear up moments I was singing (that heaven song) to Allegra as she was drifting off to sleep sucking on the bottle she was fighting so hard to just stare in my eyes I REALLY love those moments I will miss them when she grows up to Cadences age.

    Hey all

Well Kye tried sweet potato today for lunch and it went down well so another one to add to the 'can use' list YAY!! Cooked a few corn cobs yesterday and whizzed them up this morning to a puree so gonna try that on it's own tomorrow for lunch. If that one is ok I am going to mix with sweet potato and corn together.

He is really loving the Rafferty's spinach, broccoli, pea and apple sachet at the moment too. Gobbles 2 tablespoons down in no time, such a strange combination but yeah its seems to be the one he likes the most oh that and carrot and beans pureed up. I did a huge pot of that the other day and now have like two weeks supply in the freezer haha

MT - for Jett sitting up on his own! It is always such a great moment! I can't wait for K's next milestone when he starts getting onto his hands and knees to crawl

Vic - I really feel for you having to deal with 45 degree heat. That's just insane!

Anyways K is asleep so gotta have dinner!

    Catcha's tomorrow!
