SB - We coped by getting take-away and going around to a friends house each night and generally I just went out visiting people and doing things during the day!

I know what you mena about the ear piercing! I wasn't allowed to get mine done until I was 16, but managed to get Mum to cave at about 15, but then found I had a reaction to anything (including gold) being put in my ears so now don't wear earrings!! My holes didn't close over though, so now when I go out somewhere nice I wear some nice earrings and deal with the reaction for the next week!!

Vic - So, what are you up to??? Something sneaky I bet!

Everyone having crappy nights - Yep me too! Last night was a shocker. Kept waking up crying (which is not normal for him) and then he just kept attacking me!!Wouldn't let me put him down on his back, but eventually he settled on his tummy. I think it must have been gut pain, because he is normally very placid in his wake ups and feeds and goes straight back to sleep when I put him down. He always goes down on his back and then he rolls to the side straight away, but nope, last night was def needing to be on his tummy. Several times it looked like he was trying to crawl, but was looking more like a plough!! You know, head down, bum up propelling himself along!!

Everyone having blissful nights - Not fair!!

Squidipa - yay for the new washing machine!

    Everyone else - hey!

Ok, not much to report here. We are all on fire alert for tomorrow again, they are predicting some ridiculous winds and it is going to be hot, not a good combination. that everyone remains safe.

Better go get back to the mountain of paperwork I have to get done for DH.

I am here, I haven't been feeling well

BUT Veygas is ALMOST crawling now - well more like stumbling over his own hands, but I had said to DP that I'd bet he'd be up and about by the end of feb, and it almost happened!

Vic - has it been two weeks yet?? I have totally lost track of time!

Sasha & Squiddy - hope you both have nice hols in NZ!

MT - no power would suck, especially for that long!

to everyone else, still not feeling 100%

folks! sorry been a bit MIA the last few weeks really have got away from me
Beck how exciting, your dream house! That's such great news
Mel and MM are you two up to something
MT how did you go today with the fire danger? did you get evacuated?
Kel - cool about the ear piercing... I was like MT got them done when I was 14 but decided earrings didn't look good on me so let them close up.
Squiddy yay for the washing machine, we went and got a new car seat for Beth the other day I think we got the same one you got for Josh but we got the manual not the retractor. She seems to like it!
Sash good to hear sleeping is going a bit better.
We have had a good run for a few nights with madam going to bed at 8 instead of 9, it makes all the difference to be able to cook and eat a decent meal without trying to juggle her bedtime too.... woops might have spoken too soon, I hear grizzling! BBS
