    Good Morning Mums & Bubs

Saffi: Sorry to hear that bfing isn't going as well as you wished. But well done to get this far, you've certainly given it a good crack

Cheezel: Nice work catching DS on film. I'm with Saffi - possible winner with Funniest Home Videos

Misty: WTG with your Christmas Shopping. I've pretty much got DD done. But still have a lot to do... online.

Willow: What is it with people and their opinions. We are all different shapes and sizes so of course babies are all different shapes and sizes also. DH gets cranky bout people commenting on DD being smaller, although she is catching up quick.

TK: Sorry to hear bout you and DH. We too have had a few arguments, mostly revolving around DH not helping and me feeling like a single mum. Him spending too much money on his motorbike while I try hard to justify buying something we really need. Just remember to measure DD on her corrected age for her development

MegsMum: Great deal on the Bumbo. I'm thinking we should add that to Miss Z list of chrissy presents.

Koru: We too are in the same boat with day sleeping and crankiness. Awesome idea with the first aid course. We have been looking to organise one for our mums group early in the new year.

Happy Mummy: Welcome! Hope to see you around the thread when you get a chance.

Trish: for weight loss I had 4kg to go but seem to be putting it on again... Not happy!!

    Hi to anyone I've missed.

AFU: DD has been crying and hyterically screaming alot. I think it must be her reflux. Although I think we have some movement with teeth also. I ordered amber teething necklace so hopefully it arrives next week. We had needles last Thursday and weigh/measure yesterday so Miss Z is now 5.7kg and 61cm long becoming quite the chubba it's too cute. Her babbling is getting so frequent and LOUD! We are off to Perth next Wednesday to take her to another Paed re: her torticollis and Plagiocephaly.
Hopefully she's happy as DH isn't coming - $423 just for my airfare!! I ordered a medela swing electric pump. Can't wait for it to arrive.

    Hope your all well xx

Heather - M is the same. She has been sleeping a lot today which is unlike her. Don't know if it is a wonder week or the heat (up 35 degrees today).

Hi everyone, E is napping so hopefully I've got a few moments in between repeated checking up on her It is has been a pretty average week this week, just after my last post I found out that my car has done a head gasket - it was in at the mechanics getting checked over cause I found an oil leak in it - and is going to cost almost $2000 to fix Rotten bl00dy thing, DH needs to get to work and DD1 has something on every day of the week so I have to take him and pick him up so I can have the car to run her around. It is a mega pain doing all this extra driving because E hates the car too, but such is life I guess. Might have to look at getting a new car early next year now maybe.

Ellee - GL with the Perth paed and OMG at the airfare! Some of them are still just a rip off aren't they? DH is going to Gladstone in QLD for work next week and its costing (not us the company he works for) just over $1000, pretty exxy if you ask me. Well done on the weigh, sounds like Miss Z is doing great.

Happy Mummy - Maybe worn out from all the feeding LOL I don't know, sounds like it could be a growth spurt to me, with bubs anything is possible I guess.

Saffi - Sorry to hear about the BF But you have done so well to feed her for this long and really you have to do what is right for both of you in the end don't you?

Cheezel - LOL at DS laughing at himself laughing at the computer, they do and laugh at the funniest things sometimes don't they?

misty - Yay for having the shopping all done! We did a bit more on the w/e and have now broken the back of it this early for the first time in history LOL

koru - No worries, glad to help. Did you end up finding a fleece one to try? Sorry I couldn't help on that front, I don't really use it anymore - once I found wool with DD1 I never really went back to fleece because we got too many leaks overnight with it. And I didn't like it for daytime compared to PUL because its fairly bulky. But each to their own, its still worth a try and you may find that you love it. Oh and I meant to mention your pic of Orla too - cute!

Willow - Oh my gosh a tooth I sort of know how you feel about the size comments too - I get them all the time about how small E is For goodness sake she is on the 50th percentile, these people have no idea and it drives me nuts! I got it all with DD1 as well and sometimes I wish people would just zip it with the stupid comments really.

tk - Sorry to hear about you and DH As I'm sure most couples have, DH and I have had our moments too - immediately after my m/c was an especially hard time for us with lots of arguing about various things, mostly his family But we came through and I hope you and your DP can do the same. I hope your nappy problem changes too - cheeky little munchkin!

A big to anyone I've missed!

Happy Mummy I must have been writing when you were. DD has been doing the same thing. Every 2 hrs even hourly at some points. She's been doing this since Friday. MCHN said yesterday that 3-4months they do big growth spurt. I think if he is happy and seems healthy then it should be fine... Even though its a PITA for us hehee

    Hi everyone,
Just about to head away for the weekend. We are going to singleton for a Family (DH's) Christmas party. Truth is, I don't want to go. But it is very important to DH (particularly since his father died) so I'll suck it up.

Anyway, will chat with you all when I come back, we are leaving the computer and internet at home because we don't get internet (or phone) reception on the property we are staying at.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    Hi girls

Sorry, not much time today for personals!!
DS has been feeding more & sleeping heaps this week. I went to the MCHN just to weigh him today & he's put on 300g in 2 weeks
I saw my newest niece on Thursday who was born 4 weeks prem, but is now 8 weeks old. She weighs the same as DS did born (9lb), I cannot remember him being that small!! But on the other hand I certainly can't imagine anything that size fitting inside me lol.
Hope you're all ready for Christmas, not too far away now!! Last night we were wrapping DS's pressies. I commented to DH how silly I felt wrapping all this stuff when we're the ones who're going to be opening them again!! Ah the things you do I guess.

Been a bit quiet in here again...

Just popping in to say we now have tooth #2

Popped some time over the weekend. He was a champ this time though, I didnt' even know it had happened.

Since cutting his first tooth he has been a lot more settled of an evening again which has been great, sleeping from 7 till at least 11.30pm before a feed. We've even had a few nights where he's only woken once - would be very happy if he did that every night! LOL

He is also getting really good at rolling from back to tummy....can't quite get back over yet so mummy has to come and rescue him when he's had enough tummy time! LOL

Have been making more of an effort to leave him on the floor the last few days. With two older kids running around it's tempting to just leave him in his rocker, bumbo etc out of harms way but I don't want to slow down his gross motor skills (rolling, crawling etc) by doing that.

Speaking of the bumbo...was a huge fizzer for us. He just looked so awkward and uncomfortable in it. His thunder thighs were wedged in there and DH hated me putting him in it. Thankfully we borrowed it from a friend so I gave it back to her the other day.

    Just quickly..

Cheezel - IKWYM about wrapping presents only for you to have to unwrap them. That will change tho and you will find even ones meant for you will not be unwrapped by you anymore.
Willow - congrats on tooth #2!

Spent the morning Xmas shopping with M. Mainly bought stuff for DS but got some swimmers and also bookends for M. Just can't bring myself to buy toys!

Taking M for her 4mth vaccinations this afternoon. Haven't weighed her in close to a month so will be interesting to see what she weighs now.

Hello to everyone. Hope you are all well.

mad4e - no lip biting here.

M's checkup went really well. She got through the injections with only a little cry. She now weighs 6.6kgs and head measurement is 41.8cm which puts her in the 75th percentile for both. Big chubba bubba.

    Hello everyone.

lol!! Best enjoy it while I can.

mad4e - DS kind of bites his lip. He gums down on his bottom lip as he doesn't have any teeth yet, all I can see is his top lip when he does it. Is that what you mean?

    Hi all!

Misty - Grrr @ losing your post and grrr @ your space bar not working LOL! Have you tried taking the space bar off and cleaning underneath? Sometimes they just have dust or crumbs underneath. I hope Thursday's vacc's go well, I hate getting them done.

Saffi - Yay for M being such a chubba girl! She is doing brilliantly

mad4e - No lip biting here

Willow - Wow @ D getting a second tooth! It certainly explains what was going on with him a couple of weeks ago doesn't it?!

Cheezel - Woohoo @ your DS's weight gain! All those extra feeds are doing something!

megsmum - D'oh @ blowing a head gasket! I've had that happen with my old car and it was so expensive to get fixed.

Ellee - I hope your DD's crying/screaming has calmed down, it's so stressful when they do that . Have you considered taking her to a paediatric chiro? They have great success with sorting out reflux babies.

Happy Mummy - How has your DS been going? Is he still going through the growth spurt?

Hi to anyone I've missed .

AFU - Alana, DS2 and I all have colds atm so it's not much fun. The last two nights have been a bit dodgy with Alana couging, which makes her spit her dummy out and then needing me to go and put it back in. Very tiring! I can't wait for it to pass. Apart from that she is going well. She had a 3 1/2 month check up last week and was 6.1kg and 64cm long (I think!). She's still a very happy little lady who loves to grab things and loves to squeal .

Well, I'd better run. Got to get Alana up so I can drop DS1 off to kinder. I hate having to wake her!!

cheezle its a bit like that, ds takes his whole bottom lip into his mouth and gums down on it, i was thinking it might be because he has started teething but not quite sure.
