Oh thanks Trace. Well munchkin weighed in at 6.95kg so pretty stoked with that. She's still right on her growth chart which is fabbo. I nearly kissed the nurse! She was great with her needles too and is now fast asleep. Time for some food.........

Soph - hope little Lucie is feeling better, how is your morning sickness going, hopefully it will pass soon.

Kirsty - Is Gem all better? Maria and I are both feeling a lot better, we skipped swimming lessons yesterday just in case of a relapse. Not sure if she caught it from childcare or not as a few of our friends have had colds as well. Just think every cold caught will increase Maria's immune system, well at least thats what mum tells me 8-[ 8-[ .

I started work again today. I had to express twice, in the morning I could only express 40mls, but in the afternoon I easily got 100mls, I was stressing a little after the morning milking. Maria is enjoying childcare, that makes going to work easier.

Yay Lucie on your weigh in ....amazing how as babies it is so important to put weight on and then when you become an adult it is so important to keep it off ](*,) hehe. I hope the needles have not upset Lucie to much , Kaitlyn is always in a bad way for about 48Hours after ..temp ..grumpy ..totally out of sorts!

I am sorry to hear that Maria is suffering a cold ..and now you to Louise...get better. Good to hear though that Maria is thriving at the centre, gosh I hope I get a spot in there ...arghhh ..starting to get a bit nervous. I think I will give Kathleen a call later this week.

Kaitlyn and I had Gymbaroo today and had such a great time. It was so funny as she really took notice of the other babies for the first time...they all seemed to really notice each other actually. Instead of looking at us they were grabbing each other toes and hands and just watching each other....makes me smile just thinking about it still!.

Well better head off to bed ...DH and I had a lovelly big seafood dinner with wine followed by mini chocolate cakes for valentines day dinner ..mmm. Hope you girls all had a nice valentines day to!.

Oh Cass what a yummo dinner! Gymbaroo sounds like so much fun too. Wish they had it here!

Louise - Yay for both feeling better. Your cake pics are fantastic too - clever girl! Ms is still around, but I find if I take the Blackmores ms tablets when I get up to go to the loo in the early morning, I am ok. Otherwise....

Had the worst night ever last night  Lucie was sooooo grizzly all night. I feel like a terrible mother too cos it wasn't till 5.30am this morning that I took her temp and realised it was 38.4. Poor thing. She is totally off her feeding (more than usual!) too. 100mls is what she is averaging at the moment. I expect today to be pretty much the same, but will keep up the Neurofen/panadol and maybe we can both catch some  together. Gee I hate immunisations, at least the next lot are not for another 6 months, just before #2 arrrives

Hope you all had a lovely Valentines ladies and were spoilt rotten!

Cass isnt it funny all the things we say we wont do but end up doing..i guess its all part of parenthood being a learning experience. Ive just learnt to never say never haha. Thats so great about the gymbaroo..it must be so funny with bubs all looking at each other..its like they have their own little universal baby language...or maybe its the bald heads that intrigues them so much. When we were shopping yesterday Sammy just couldnt stop giggling at the gentleman serving us who had a shaved head..lol. Your vday dinner sounds gorgeous!

Soph I cant believe that Lucie is moving..what a clever bubba. You poor chookie with the ms...and with the heat.arrghh. I guess the good news is that when you are heavily preggers it wont be hot..which will be great. Poor Luc..i so hope she feels better today. The immunisations can really knock it out of them cant it.

Grr at the daycare Kirsty...i know its all part and parcel kids getting sick but it must be so frustrating for you and lil Gem. My fingers are still crossed for you too btw

Louise..id love to see your cakies...you can email me at [email protected] muchly lovey! Hope Maria is feeling better. Its so great shes settling well into daycare. Sounds like you are doing fantastically with the expressing too..wtg. I can appreciate that it would be no mean feat working and expressing.

Well my darling hubby took yesterday off so we could spend it together. We went shopping and went to a movie..it was so nice. I was so spoilt and got some "Dolce & Gabbana" so smell delish. We went swimming at the pool yesterday arvo and then had a bday party last night to go to with the kids so they are all pretty knackered today so will be early to bed for them tonight. Sammy just loves the water..its so gorgeous to see him get so excited about it. Sammy had a clinic visit too and now weighs in at 9kg and is 70cm long. His weight gain has slowed so much and i actually felt quite alarmed though she worked it out and hes still gaining 110 a week..so felt relieved after that..geez...the pressures we put ourselves through!

Anyway I better go and get little fella ready..hes off to have his photos taken today.

Wow Jo big bubba Sammy as usual! He would squish Lucie with his big toe! And yeap the pressure, I know what you mean. Apparently bubs weight does slow down heaps when they start moving, can even go backwards a bit. But he is putting on loads! Lucie weighed in at 6kg at 4 months, so in 2 months only put on 1 kilo, but still on chart so doesn't matter too much.

Very cute with Sammy laughing at the bald man!

Lucie has been right off today. Managed to get 200ml into her before although about 1/3rd of that was when she fell asleep on the bottle, but I'll let that go for today. Now both going to have a sleep........

    Hi girls,

Ive just joined BB and thought Id pop in here and introduce myself! Have to admit Ive been lurking a little while, but since you all seem like pretty normal kinda folk , thought I'd step out of the shadows.

Notes: vaginal delivery, born 2.35pm on due date - how organised!

Like Lucie, Jamie has slowed down a bit weight-wise (weighed in 7.05 kg last week) and we're just back on soilds after a week break to try and sort out that pesky constipation problem. Prunes are featuring heavily in this weeks menu!

Im back at work three days a week but have childcare at my workplace, so can keep bf (and its sooo nice to visit three times a day! Who cares about productivity!).

Looking forward to getting to know you all a little.

Louise I would love to see a pic of your cake. Are you going to bring it on Friday to mothergroup? If not I would love for you to email it through to me.

Soph I hope Lucie is feeling better and you both managed to get a little rest tonight. Honestly I DREAD shots day ...Kaitlyn is the same as Lucie. Dont feel bad about not taking her temp until this morning....when we have nights like that I think we are walking around like zombees so we are not all there

Jo your day with your hubby sounds lovely!. You need those date days to really make you appreciate your non date days 9Kgs ...go Sammy.

Welcome Georgie and James! I have only just joined in chatting with the girls a couple of weeks ago. You will find everyone in here very lovely and easy to chat to . I look forward to taking to you soon.

Poor Kaitlyn has her rash back again today and it is bigger then ever. It does not seem to bother her but it worries me!. I purchased some heat rash cream called Neat 3B ...has anyone used this before. I hate using chemicals but dont want it to get worse.

We had a couple of cute moments today ...Kaitlyn and Purrgeot (one of our cats) played together with a big empty box from her nappies. She discovered the vacuum and helped me hold it while I vacuumed the floors. And last but not least she got her first pair of shoes for an engagement we are going to on Saturday ...she thought socks and feet were amazing until she saw and felt her shoes!!!

Soph I hope little missy is feeling 100%better now. Sleeping can just do wonders for babies cant it..oh and you too. Have you started thinking about names? You must be so excited. Any inklings as to what you might be having? Will you find out? Sorry..too many questions lol.

Hello and welcome Georgie and James. :smt039 Nice of you to join our little group. We are not scarey at all...hehe...and well kinda normal..lol.Ouchies at the constipation. Poor James. I hope the prunes help and hes back to his normal self. That is so great that you can continue b/f. Workplaces with childcares are just wonderful.

Awww Cass poor Kaitlyn. Where abouts is she getting her rash? Poor munchkin. I guess its great that it doesnt seem to bother her..but I can understand it worrying you. It would worry me too. Hopefully the heat rash cream will help out with it. I havent heard of it so havent used it. I know what you mean about not wanting to use chemicals though sometimes it can be helpful. I swear by paw paw cream..i use it for everything..lol..i dont know if it would work for heat rash though :-k . Thanks...we had a wonderful day too....DH works long hours so we certainly enjoy the time we have together...Sammy loved all that extra time too!

Louise..ta honey for the pics. You are such a clever lady...what gorgeous cakies you make. You put me to shame... 8-[

Hiya Storm and Zac, Mel and Hunter..hope you guys are both doing really well.

Sammy had his piccies taken today..they were so cute. I cant wait to pick them up in a couple of weeks when they are ready. He had some taken dressed as a bumblebee...tooooooooo cute! Thankfully he was very obliging. It doesnt seem to take much to get him going. He just thinks everyone is hilarious! We have nursery rhymes in the morning...which should be fun.

Jo - You are going to have to show us the pics somehow - they sound gorgeous! Yeah we have started thinking about names: boys we like Ned, Tom and Henry, and girls all we have come up with is Eve. We like simply kinda names. I really want to find out but DH doesn't, and as I am the worst secret keeper in the world, I guess I won't.

Hi Georgie and James! Another pocket rocket, so nice There are quite a few chubba bubs in here which always makes me envious! Hope the prunes do the trick!

Cass - Sounds like Kaitlyn was very cute today! With the rash, I've seen quite a few herbal baby wash things around the place - usually markets and stuff, that claim to help with that sort of stuff. I know there were a few posts re eczema somewhere too - not that it sounds like that, but the same stuff may help her? I'll have a little look. Poor thing - both of you!

A bit better night sleep last night, she onlywoke about 2-3 times. Had 150ml this morning - better than 100ml last night that had me in tears again. Just so tough having a bubba that doesn't like to eat, I feel trapped at home a lot of the time because feeding her in other places is an even bigger nightmare.

Just a quick post - Im at work and just got back to the office after feeding James. He's suddenly got really efficient at feeding, down to about 10 mins from 30, so Im still claiming to be on my "lactation break" Thankyou for making us feel so welcome.

Cass, Ive been using the Dermaveen products for James' excema, and they certainly help when he gets a little heat rash. They've got "colloidal oatmeal" as their main agent which is supposed to be really calming, and his skin has responded well to them. There's a moisturiser as well as a bath wash and a shampoo (which did wonders for his itchy scalp that was keeping us all awake). Havent tried the one you mentioned though. Hope its better soon.

Better get back to the coalface....

Soph soon as I pic up the pics I will put some online..they come with the disk. I love your names. Eve is just so pretty and the boys names will go great with Lucie. Lol at finding out....maybe as it gets closer your hubbie will change his mind. I couldnt keep it a secret either though...thankfully we both wanted to find out. Sorry to hear that you are still having feeding issues. Does Lucie just not want to finish a bottle? Or is she distracted in other things? I can understand it would be very upsetting for you. Sam when feeding will get distracted and pull of me and look around and i get milk squirting everywhere..not the most dignified of times i can assure you I hope today is a better day for you..and just watch out for this big fatty you are growing now whos gonna love food!

Georgie that is so great that you have the full 30mins break..how many of those are you entitled to each day..is that how it works? It is funny how efficient they get isnt it?

My lil fella is still asleep. Darren took the kids to school for me today to let him sleep a bit..poor darling is getting woken up all over the place now..yesterday it was to pick Livvy up from a friends house. How do all you guys go...do you let your bubbies sleep and wait? Please dont let me be the only horrible one 8-[

Oh Jodon't feel bad about waking Sammy up. It has to happen sometimes, I've had to do it heaps aswell, it's a shame, normally though if we want to go out we wait, but for getting kids from school, appointments & stuff we wake him. I know how sad it is, ( & horrible) but you've got to do whats got to be done

Soph my heart goes out to you. I don't think I could cope with what you go through, you are tremendous. =D> This precious little bubba will be a great feeder. Poor Lucie, pretty soon she wont be on just formula& having more solids, things should be easier then....Love the names you have picked out.

Hi Georgie & James welcome!! wow at "lactation breaks" how cool is that?????

Cass I'm no help with the heat rash either. Zac has had it too, but it doesn't seem to bother him, so I haven't had to treat it.Sorry.

My little man got the all clear at his specialist \/ still has the hyrdocele, but nothing to worry about.I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!!!!!
He also had his needles on Saturday & you know what.... it didn't bother him at all  last time he screamed constantly this time a whimper.
But today he has made up for it. He drank 180mls at 11am got wingy again at 12, so I made up 60ml wooffed it, then another 60, cried another 60- cried- another 60 that's 420mls in the space of 1&1/2 hours.......gee thank heavens he is asleep!!!! He has spent the best part of today crying, not like him, wonder if something is up. The last few days he has had a croaky voice, wonder if he his getting a cold Oh I hope not.

Well I should go still got washing to hang out.

MEL, where are you? How is Hunter??

Thanks Jo - I really am hoping #2 is a hungry munchkin. Life would be so different without feeding stresses! And about waking Sammy - at the moment I don't wake Lucie, but we go out after a feed generally and she sleeps when we get back. But you have a heap of kids to look after so you can't be so accomodating with your time, you have to wake him if you need to head out. I wouldn't stress about it!

Thanks Storm too. Now I am going to give you a cyber-punch for having such a hungry boy 420ml!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Georgie - Sounds like you have a great employer. And I say as you are a BF mum, you need that extra 20 mins for special you time, to eat and drink properly!

Today I am in a bit better frame of mind, despite the continued hunger strike. She's happy and healthy and that's what I need to focus on.....Ah it all sounds so logical, the pg hormones aren't helping though I don't think.
