Wow Catherine, Jenson was tiny i thought Kyana was little fitting into 5 O's! For about a week lol! Sorry I can't help with the eye patch but I'm sure it would be a difficult thing to have to combat.
No news here except my house if full of sicky's with colds I'm the only one not with it ATM....
Sammi, I've been saying Kyana's gonna cut a tooth for about a month now but still nothing but she too was up all night just about last night so it's gotta be close.
dd: I kept the six zero outfits to remind me and him just how small he was.
My house was the same with both boys and me sick with the flu.
Jensen has five teeth and I think one more on the more.
Hope you all get well.
Which part of melbourne do you live in?

: had not finished
dd yucky colds Sending some get well vibes and hoping you don't get it too!
Catherine I just clicked on to where you live...do you know Astrolady?
Sarah I found your SMS this morning. I lost my phone...well Caleb lost my phone. I found it under a pile of washing that I finally got around to folding. I should know better that to give it to him to play with Hopefully next week we can meet up at FG!
Caleb has been a bit rowdy and still no teeth! I got him settled at 9 then I was just about to go to bed at 10:30 and he woke up so it took me till 12 to get him back to sleep so I stayed up watching the footy with DH. He must have had wind pain because he was farting like a trumpet Then he was awake again at 4 then at 7:30 but DH played with him for a while so I could have some more sleep. When he brought him into the bedroom he was happy to see me and giggled! Very cute...but man I'm tired
NEWS - Kyana is cutting her first tooth and she's turning one in 2 weeks! Well actually it looks like she's getting two at the bottom.
Catherine isn't it funny how we keep these things - I've kept a 5 O's little jacket that just fit Kyana but cause she wore it I kept it too as a reminder.
Had Kyana weighed again and she's gained weight finally but she's still under 9kgs - I still have her car seat facing the other way shes' just so little to me....
Sammi I hope Caleb is sleeping better now or has cut a tooth!
Taylor was born on 10th August 2006.....a little about us, I am a SAHM (almost 31), DH (36 in 2 days) works in the mines, we have two feral dogs
Taylor has unfortunately decided to do things early......
(pls don't think I am bragging as I soo am not - I really wish she was still crawling, I really think that her doing things early has made me lose out on her "baby" stage)
* 2 teeth at 4 months - she now has 8 and is getting both sets of top & bottom molars
* She crawled at 6 months, stood at 7 months and walked 1 week prior to turning 9 months (eeekkkk)
* She is in 0's and is under 9kgs!!!
* She has recently learnt to clap (YAY!!!)
* She eats anything you put in front of her - including the lemons she found in a bag last week
* She doesn't sleep through the night (only wakes once normally but can wake 2-3 times)
We started trying for #2 in Feb and had a missed m/c in June....so we are on the 3 month wait and then TTC again.
Well that's all about us..I hope to get to know you girls.
Kelly

: spelling
Yay for Kyana getting a toothie and OMG on her being almost 1! No teeth in Calebs mouth yet *sigh* I don't know how much longer I can blame these sleepless nights on teething
Hi Kelly and welcome. We're a quiet little group in here but that's a nice change of pace from some of the busier threads I'm sure I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I wish you all the best for TTC when you are ready to try again
Sounds like you've got a busy little girl there!
My boy Caleb was born on August 21st (8 days overdue) and has been early for doing things too ~ except the teeth though!
He rolled at 4 months, crawled at 6 and walked at 9.
He wasn't too keen on solids though and it was a battle to get him to even open his mouth till he was almost 8 months but now he's a regular guts!
Hello anyone out there in cyber land if you're too busy to post! Sarah...Dawn...Catherine...Hope you can say hello soon...
I am fine with a quiet thread! It would be nice to see what other bubs in DD's age range are up to, my mother's group has babies that range from 9 months to 13 months, with none of them being born in August.
I wish DD wasn't a guts, she will probably eat us out of house and home before too much longer! LOL
Is anyone's elses baby not sleeping through?????? DD is a shocker, although I guess I am lucky in that she only normally wakes once for a bottle and then she is straight back to sleep.
Hi Kelly, welcome, I'm really a July mum but was due in August and these guys couldn't really get rid of me!LOL! that's great that Taylor is early I think they all go at their own pace my older DD was early with most things except teeth and Kyana my 11 and 1/2 month old was walking at 8 months so I'm with you on that one, but we're only just cutting our first teeth this week. Kyana is not a very good eater at all but my other DD would all but inhale her food she ate so much and she's still not too bad on the tooth we even hide food from her but she's really active so I guess she burns it off.
Kyana goes through stages of not sleeping but I've had her in sleep clinic twice to help her and they've worked she's really a pretty good sleeper now.
Sammi, I still reckon it's the teeth cause they must move about abit in there to cause discomfort and remember when we lay them down to sleep all the blood must go to their gums so that would have to be uncomfortable for them I know how sore I was with my wisdom teeth.
Hi to everyone.
xxdd
Oh my i didn't realize how long it had been since i posted until i got an email from admin saying that i hadn't hehehe.
Sorry girls, it's been full on here, Mason has been sick for over 2 weeks, got diagnosed with bronchitis and both ears infected then on Saturday he was getting worse not better so took him to a different doc and she said it was bronchiolitis and his ears were still infected so changed AB's and she put him on steroid liquid. Then Sunday night he was bad and at 1:30am was coughing so much he could hardly breathe cause he couldn't stop, so i took him to Casey Hospital emergency and they gave him some oxygen as his sats were a bit low and gave him some ventolin, we were there for 4 hours got home at 7am. He wasn't any better yesterday, he's been so clingey and whingey the poor thing, it's doing my back in picking him up (all 13kg of him lol)
I'm hoping that once the AB's kick in that he will be on the road to recovery. I've read that the cough can last up to a month, he must be so sick of it
Hi to everyone, we've been busy with b'days and now school hols, it doesn't stop when you've got 5
Oh and dh went and had the snip, well that didn't go well, he ended up in a lot of pain from a blood clot, so had to go back and get AB's but it seems to be getting back to normal now.
Will have to go as Mason has finally gone down for a nap so i'm going to put my feet up, haven't had much sleep the last week or so.
Welcome Kelly, i have Mason who was born 15th Aug, he's 13kg and started crawling at 8 months (my earliest crawler) i have 4 boys and 1 girl (who is 4 on Thursday ) Mason was eating well til he got sick and is bottlefed. He's cruising the furniture and stood alone on the w/end but not sure if that was a fluke lol. That's ok he's my last so i'm happy for him to not grow up too fast and he only has 3 teeth one bottom and both his eye teeth, crazy.
bye for now,

Wow talk about a thread killer Mason is heaps better today thank goodness he slept through last night which was such a relief, would've been good if dd didn't wake up needing to go to the loo (she's decided she doesn't want to wear nappies to bed)
It's her b'day today, can't believe she's 4 they grow up so fast, before i know it she'll be off to school.
Well better go, we're off to Maccas for a b'day dinner, which is Haileys fav.
Sorry Dawn I did read your post but haven't had a chance to say hi back. Glad to hear Mason is doing better. BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Hailey!!!! They do grow too quickly Shynelle just turned 3 in June I suddenly freaked at how tall she is! She's already in size 4 she seems to have skipped size three altogether....
I'm soooo tired this morning have been up most of the night with Kyana I think her teeth are hurting her poor bubba, she has cut one through on the bottom but the one next to it is cutting now so she seems to be getting them all at once.
That's ok dd i don't mind talking to myself hehehe poor Kyana Mason was up at 3am this morning he thought it was time to play grrrrrrrrrrrr took us an hour to get him back to sleep.
Morning all
I hate teething!!!!! Taylor has been teething since she was 8 weeks old....will it ever stop???? (I am hoping that once her top & bottom molars come through - almost out - that she won't get anymore teeth for a while and give us a break), I can feel for both of you Dawn & dd311 (sorry can't seem to find your name?).
We went out last night for DH birthday & a farewell dinner at the local rsl (i wouldn't really call it an rsl but anyways), there was another little girl there who is almost 16months old and tay and her played really well.... very cute.
She didn't end up in bed till just after 9.30pm and then was up at 12am but then slept till after 6am - not too bad, at least I am starting to feel like I am getting some decent sleep! Too bad she couldn't have been this way 3 months ago when I was needing it
Well, we are going for a friends first birthday party tomorrow, should be fun!
Have a nice weekend if I don't chat to you sooner....
Kelly
Hi kelly
Welcome to our special group.
I am in shock that i am writing invites to my little mans 1st birthday party!
Hasn't it gone so quickly!
hope everyone is warm, it's freezing here!!
Sorry I keep meaning to pop in here but my BB time is in quick bursts ATM I forget where I've been. Blame baby brain
Dawn you sound like you've had a dramatic time with Mason being sick and DH getting the snip. Hope they are both recovering well! dd those pesky teeth come through yet? Kelly did you have a nice time at your dinner out? Catherine it's been a crazy year and how fast has it gone! I had MIL on the phone today asking what am I doing for Calebs birthday. Not sure what yet but I think it will be a small affair.
Us, well Caleb has really picked up with the walking. Most of the time he's toddling about the house. Doesn't crawl much now at all.
He's got an ear infection ATM which I feel terribly bad about. I was blaming his narkyness on teething till he broke out in a rash. I freaked out and took him to the Dr and they said his ears were all red and bulging. He's on antibiotics now and I can see the difference in him already thank goodness.
