Hi girls!

Bec - Good to hear the CC went well. Its amazing how well our babies do adjust and enjoy the time. Most of the time i think its acutally us that reacts worse! Were you always planning on going back to work so soon??? So obviously there is'nt any plans for #2 yet?? He he! Yeah each to their own re: solids. Every baby is different. I don't give Colby solids everyday, just when my milk does'nt seem to be hitting the spot with her. I can understand you not wanting to give Xav anything yet. Esp if you and DH had allergies. I keep trying to get into IL's heads that babies are meant to have honey, mash potato and gravy on their dummies but no-one listens too me! Oh the joys!

Campari - Milla seems to be growing very nicely. A tooth coming through already??? WOW! I am sure Colby is well on her way to teething aswell. I think she is going to be more of an earlier teether than Briley was. Briley did'nt get her first tooth until she was about 9 months old. Enjoy having the house to yourself! My IL's are away looking after someones house at the moment so its been good. Plus we are going away next week for a week and it will be good not to have someone annoying the sh*t out of me all the time! LOL at your hubbies nickname for Milla! Thats too cute!

Ali - Thats excellent news about Em's weight! She sound as though she is doing so well now. What is roseola virus??? I have heard of it. Too true about kids aging us though. I said to DP on NY's, "I am not really that fussed about NY's anymore. I would rather be somewhere where i can take my kids and just be with my family". Once upon a time i would have be distraught about not doing anything on NY's now its just....Oh look, the fireworks are nice hey!!! LOL! At least i still have some money in my pocket and no hangover on NY's day right!

Rhianon - I've been told that boys are way more active than girls! Kinda scared me for the time of when i have my own boys. If that day comes! I don't know though, Briley is pretty full on too. DP tries and turns her into the tom boy!! I think she will be a lot like me and be able to do boyish things but still be able to go out and get done up and look great. I reckon they are the best girls! Colby is def on the move. She rolls around the lounge room for ages. One minute you will look over at her and she will be in one spot then the next minute she in over the other side of the room! She is def a mover!

Sehra - Good to hear from you hun. Glad to hear that Ela is growing nicely. A tooth already aswell! Gosh babies these days are just growing up so quickly are'nt they! No have'nt thought about swim lesson yet. I have'nt even sent Briley. I guess i was just going to teach them myself. My mum taught me and i am a pretty good swimmer. Did Devrim start school this year or last year??? Yeh Colby has been trying to sit up onto her elbows aswell. When on her stomach she can lift herself right up. I guess it wont be long before she starts trying to sit up properly.

Neuri - I can't wait to read your thesis! You have a def knack for writing! I'd be happy to offer "myself" for your study!

Finances aside, some may not be emotionally prepared at 30 or over whereas others might be mature and confident enough at a much younger age.
You hit the nail on the head here. Only a few of my friends from school are now having babies. I think about 2-3 of them to be precise. The first high school i went to had a rep for drug users and they are all still way caught up in their own lives to even think about having babies. The second high school i went to was quite acedemic and most of the girls are very career orientated. I must have been just one of the few who knew i was ready to have babies early. Maternal i think we call it!

Glad to hear that Willa is rolling! You won't be able to stop her now.

Kim - Yep i saw that young girl too. I really don't think she was a troller cause she posted again saying that she was sure she had posted in here yesterday! Assuming she is a real person with a real pregnancy, I totally understand when you say you just want to protect her. Sad thing was that she did'nt even know she was pregnant until she was just over 24 weeks. Just goes to show the at 12 we don't even know our own bodies enought to tell if we have another human life growing inside us or not. All we can do is offer as much as she wants and needs. I was totally spun out when i read her post. Oh and Happy Birthday for the other day! DP was also 30 on the 22'nd of Dec!

Misty - Briley has slept with a feather pillow since she was a week or so old. She has never had any issues with it. We have just started to sleep Colby on one during the day but never when she wants to sleep on her tummy. I also never sleep her on a pillow at night cause she sleeps on her tummy at night time. Tummy sleeping and pillows....OMG! What kinda mother am i! Each to their own hun. Your baby, your choice. If you think Ella sleeps better with a pillow, let her. A soundly sleeping baby is better than a screaming uncomfortable baby! I honestly don't think there would have been enough alcohol in the egg nog to affect Ella. Unless ofcourse it was an extra strong batch! I don't drink often but somtimes i have a few and still BF. If i plan a bit night out i just put Colby on the bottle. If she refuses the boob, cause it might taste different from the alcohol, then maybe give her some formula or some EBM.

Well i think that everyone....sorry if i missed anyone!

Thought i better get in a proper post before we go away next week. Probably won't have much computer access while we are away.

I will be on the Gold Coast from Monday for a week if you's are keen to come down for the day! I understand if its too far too drive though.

Well i better go now. Such a long post and i have a whiney hungry baby to feed!

BBL!
