Oh man, so much to catch up on...good to see you guys haven't lost the ability to chat

Mizqtie: your boys look so alike. I hope Kaidyn does a poo for you soon. Poor little thing, they are so unimpressed when they can't poo aren't they?

Caixin: are the gang making you stick to confinement? I find that if I stay inside for ages, I get more daunted about leaving the house the longer I'm inside. We've being going for walks lately and I feel so much better for it, helps you to know when it's day and when it's night too Mother's groups are so good for adult conversation, you just crave it when you're home all day with a baby. I hope you get a good group. When do your gang go home?

Bexie: don't even think about not eating what you want to eat, you have to make milk for Charlotte so you have to eat. I eat non stop all day, right now I am eating a big bag of corn chips, I'm just so hungry all the time when BFing. Hope you get home from Brisbane quickly and that there isn't too much traffic. Mmmm pizza, wish I could have pizza, this no wheat diet is killing me! But at least Ivy is happy, no screaming or pains in the tummy since I totally cut it out. I am such a wheat eater, pasta, bread, pasta....pizza, pasta...cakes. I miss it. I made a beautiful banana cake the other day and couldn't eat any of it (I only made it because we needed to use up some bananas) DP and DS loved it though!!

Babyluv: yay to going to the pub for dinner and for Sienna having a 6 hour sleep! That is wonderful news!!!!!!!!!! Good on you! Bet you felt like a human going out to the pub. Ivy is a champion farter too, she sometimes even lifts the leg to get them out. I love the facial expressions they get on when they are doing a poo or a big fart

LittleMrs: the walks have been great, we are going everyday and sometimes twice a day. And my undercarriage is fine, I think it's totally healed up now, no itching or pain at all anymore, wish the dodgy nipple would do the same and get healed once and for all.

Shelly: awwwww. Poor little Xanthe, a friend of mine has a daughter with a blocked tear duct and the stuff that comes out of it builds up to about the size of a pea and it's yellow. I hope she is feeling better soon? I hate those teary days.

Have I missed anyone? SO sorry if I have.

Well I've had a good day today, Ivy has been eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping. DS sprained his ankle this morning and then went walking around on it, we didn't know he had done it because he didn't tell us he was hurt, but he was whingy on our walk. When we got home he had a really swollen ankle, poor little thing! He's gone to the pool now, so I'm home with Ivy, who is sleeping while I catch up with you guys. Such a nice day here too. to everyone

Babyluv: I'm glad sienna did a big poo!! Lol. Charlotte did a massive one today too! It went up her chest n back n the whole nappy was covered! Lol... Is she feeding or sleeping any better yet?

Mizqtie: hopefully your little man does a poo soon!! Just watch out for it cause it'll be a poonami!! (tsunami of poo! Hahahhaa)

Kirsten: I am still eating what I want but within reason, like I wanted cookies at the servo but didn't get them, I had a musli bar instead. Not the same but healthier! I'm worried though with mum gone and Joe going back to work, that I just won't be bothered to make or eat lunch... I want to produce milk for her but at the same time want to get skinny again! I fit no clothes atm...

Caixin: I am now on my own with cooking but I am a bit worried about how I am going to do anything tomorrow! I can't settle Charlotte most the time cause she smells my milk and just wants to feed! And I hate Leaving her to scream!!
Maybe just take a walk or something before you tackle the shops or major public areas.

Well we are finally home! And I almost cried as I walked past our guest room, I miss my mum already!!! It was soooo lovely having her here! Charlotte did pretty well in the car but thank god we are not going oN anymore long trips anytime soon!! The poor darling has spent so much time in that car seat!

Oh and Charlotte has had tears from like 2 days old!!! No gunk... But actual tears everytime she cries! Is that not normal?

Omg girls. Here I was whinging about my bubba being all unsettled and grumpy yesterday and after i finally got her to sleep just before I posted on here and the lil darling slept through until 3am!! She must've been buggered! My poor boobies weren't happy though, felt like they were going to burst I woke up to a soaked top and had to express before and after I fed her lol.

Bex you nutter C is too lil for you to be worrying about your weight already!! You need to eat loads to keep being a good cow I have been very bad with food since she's been out, I'm always starving. I figure once my we've made it to 6 weeks and my milk supply is stable and I've got the all clear from the physio (since I have some ab issues from my monsterous bub) we'll start working on slow and steady weightloss. to your Mummy going home. On the bright side my MIL is gone too, lol. I am worried about being lonely when Dh goes back to work tomorrow too.

Kirsten, yup that sounds exactly like Miss X's eye. It looks so nasty and sore but apparently doesn't hurt them. Bugger about no wheat! I had to cut out all wheat & dairy with DD1 too and it was SO hard! Cheese and pasta are my fave things, along with a glass of Sauv Blanc of course The things we sacrifice for our bubs hey? Good thing they're worth it

Babyluv & Mizqtie, BF babies can poo every nappy change or not for a week and it can be normal. It depends on growth spurts etc, as sometimes they're using all the milk to grow. If you are FF as well it's different though. I wouldn't give a baby a laxative unless on Dr's advice though.

Caixin, how good are chest naps? I love sleeping like that with Xani. I can't wait for the photos either! I'm going to be so impatient waiting for them for the next 2 weeks lol.

little_mrs, I wanted squishy shots of Miss X and to preserve her tinyness which is why we had the shoot. I'll be having another one at some stage this year when my SIL (photographer) makes it over, so am hoping to catch her personality and get some good shots of her with DD1 then too. Nurserytime sounds great, i really need to find a mothers group or something. Xani won't take a bottle at all, so i have a syringe to give her EBM if I need to. I'm sure with perseverence G will take the bottle again though.

So sorry if I missed anyone

We've had a good day. Xan is far more settled again although I'm still pretty weak and dizzy and barely made it round the supermarket today. Have to get my Hgb checked again tomorrow, FX it's increased again.

SHelly: Hahah to being a good cow... I know I shouldn't be worrying about my weight but I swear it's ingrained into me! LOL... and it wouldn't be so bad if I could at least walk or do some form of exercise!!! So at least I know I can txt you tomorrow if I am too lonely or freak ouT!! haha... We will both be alone for the first time!! YAY to Xan settling and sleeping so long!! It's lovely isn't it! Yay to the MIL leaving!! HYou have your house back! How long do you have before DD1 comes home?
Praying your Hgb has increased!! Are you still on crazy amounts of iron? Oh god and I know what you mean about unhappy boobies!!! If I go like 4hrs they are like porn star boobs! Rock hard and so huge and perky! At least that's one good thing... they are perky and firm! It's like I have implants! hahaha...

Bex, hehe DH tells me I'm a good cow all the time, it's charming hey? Haha yeah I can imagine it's pretty ingrained, oh well try not to worry about it anyway. FX the hip & the hoohaa heal soon so you can start walking. Hehe, it's great having my house back!! the vibe is totally different now. DD1 is home next Sunday which is great cause I miss her oodles and she's getting sad that she hasn't met Xan. Yup still taking 3 different types of iron, it's ridiculous and not doing much my Hgb hasn't increased since the last transfusion so I'm not sure what will happen if it's still low this time.
you are right! they are just like fakies!!! Pity thry're too sore for DH to take advantage of I so want to DTD but I'm yet to convince him.

Wow DTD?? I am waay to scared!! My stitches haven't fully healed yet and I would be way to scared it would rip open! You don't have stitches but doesn't it still hurt!? I think all the car trips haven't helped one bit with the healing!! DH had a "play" down there the other day and I made sure he didn't go near the hole at all, it felt a little bruised after so I'm not ready yet... I miss it like crazy tho!!!!!! DH has been getting relief tho cause I am so Randy at least I can make sure he is looked after haha
Oh it'll be lovely to had DD1 home!!! She would be so excited to see X hey?? Oh and I bought my ergo here so don't need her to bring it back (even though it was soo much cheaper from nz! I needed it for my grandads funeral!)

I weighed Charlotte today at the airport (lol) and she has gained another 200gns!! So all up she has gained 1kg!!!! Only 800gms above her birth weight but she lost and regained 200gms so 1kg all up in 13 days! My little chubba who just eats ALL the time!!! Almost every hour she just screams and screams until u feed her, nothig else calms her down and she sucks hard and has a full feed so I know it's not just her whinging!! She really is hungry every hour!!! Any other babies like that?? I cannot stretch her out to 2hr feeds!

    Good morning ladies,

Guess what! Sienna slept for 7hrs last night the top up is definitely helping her, she is much more settled now and she only had one episode of painful reflux yesterday so the Zantac is kicking in too
Really hoping this lasts, my bub is much happier!
We are off to sleep school today & now thinking we may not need it!
    Have a great day ladies

Yay sienna!!!! Fx that she stays like this!! Good luck at the sleep school today!
I bet you feel much better after a good nights sleep hey?

Charlotte last night was screaming hysterically from like 6pm-10:30! She just wanted to keep feeding. Skin to skin wasn't working and both me n DH were getting upset and had no idea what to do!! She just wouldn't stop and wouldn't attach with BF either! I swear she was full but just wanted to suck. I fed her in bed skin to skin and she fell asleep about 10:45ish and so I fell asleep sitting up n didnt wake until 3:30 when I fed her again, then put her next to me and she woke for a fed when dh got up at 5:15... I have mastered the art of BF Laying down too!! So this morning at the 5:15, 8:00 an 10:00 feeds I just put her on while I was laying on my side and went back to sleep! Lol... Works a treat! I'm just so glad she settled last night cause I honestly was bout to cry!!!
Now she is just finishing her feed and we might go for a hobble with vixen cause it's a lovely sunny day! And I say hobble cause I can't walk. Lol...

    Hey Girls,
How do you get your babies to sleep for more than 4 hours? Its impossible in our household, and then he goes for a feed every hour!! Its quite exhausting.

Bexie, I couldnt keep Liam in with me at the hospital the first night, they had no beds in maternarty ward. The second night he was able to stay, ever since our seperation though he has been very clingy. boo to your hip! hopefully it all recovers well.

Lil_mrs, my MIL went nuts and bought us all of the avent stuff, avent bottles, avent sterilizer, avent electric breast pump, i also have a manual one that dh bought.

babyluv, glad to hear that Sienna did a poo!

Kirsten, Karen was fantastic at the photoshoot and so patient, Liam was very good the whole way through it until about 20 mins after she left. She showed me a pic of Ivy she is so precious!!! I cant wait until the photos are done, i will have such a hard time deciding!

My c/s scar has healed well, and my belly is shrinking. I hope the flab wont become a flap! gotta keep up with the creams!! I've lost half of the weight i put on but that was all fluid, I am in no rush though to lose the rest as long as it comes off nicely.
I know about the DTD craving, I think I am already back to my old self hehe!!

Liam is having some awake time I better go and bond with him!

*hugs* to everyones parents leaving, my mum flies back to Rome next week and I will miss her. It's still a week and a half away but still it will go by so quick!

poor fella is either full of wind or has reflux im not sure what one (well i def know he has bad wind and wont bring it up) so thinking something from the dr hopefully will help

Bexie: Not fitting into clothes is really annoying!! But as Shelly said, gotta keep feeding that little baby of yours, especially if she is feeding every hour! How do your poor porn boobs keep up?? at porn boobs, they so are porn boobs aren't they, until they start leaking milk of course...and you're such a good wife, speaking of porn...making sure your DH is "looked after" hee hee hee. You're so clever with the lay down feeding, I wish my nipples were healed enough to be able to do that, I used to do it all the time with DS, feed and sleep at the same time

Shelly: poor thing with the tear duct, my friend's daughter who has it doesn't seem bothered by it, she has had a couple of operations and is still not bothered by it at all. Yay to X sleeping so well and boo to the leaky boobs and wet top! Mmm sauv blanc....mmmm cheese and pasta.....yum. I can still eat dairy so cheese is still on the menu Hoping your Hgb increases. What do they do if it hasn't. You're amazing being a supermum with all the dizziness and fainting!!

babyluv: yipppeeeeee to the long sleep from Sienna!!! And yay for sleep school, lots of people I know found the things they learnt at sleep school to be invaluable, so hopefully you get some tips and it helps you guys out!

Kaylee: Yay!! Karen is awesome, she's a great photographer too and yes, very patient, she has 2 kids of her own so she knows all about babies and kids She took some great shots of Ivy and I agree she is precious. The deciding which ones to get is the hardest part Glad that your scar has healed well and you're feeling a lot better. I don't know how you lot can be wanting to DTD already, but then again I'm still bleeding and so not up for it at all My poor DP.

Mizqtie: yay to Kaidyn doing a poo but bugger to the wind, it's so awful when they can't bring their wind up. Ouch to the sore nippples

AFM all good here, Ivy slept in our bed for most of the night, she was really unsettled at 4 and so DP just put her in with us and she slept until about 8 this morning She seems to have 2 feeds close together in the morning and then before bed at night, so about 8am and 10 am, then later she feeds at about 7pm and then 9pm then sleeps till about 2am then feeds then sleeps till 7 or 8am again.

Kaylee: YAY to the scar healing!!! I am sure the flab won't turn into a fat flap!! It'll go down slowly! I could imagine it'd be scary for Liam being soo small and being taken out of this dark comfy place inside you to a big scary open world! I am sure he will learn that you are not going anywhere and he will stop being so clingy! He just needs rthe reassurance you are going to be there if he needs you!

Mizqtie: Hopefully you can get into the dr!! I feel ya on the sore nipples! Mine are hurting a little cause she feeds so much! especially after the horrendous evening we had last night!!!Oh I wish I could DTD!!!!!! How I miss it!!!

kirsten: Making sure DH is looked after is the closest I can get to it so why not? lol. If these stitches would hurry and be healed we could try cause I am not really bleed anymore, gone 2 days without blood now. I still wear pads tho just in case!! the slim night ones are good cause they are still long enough to cover me if I did bleed but are nice and thin so you csn't see them through clothes! Oh thank god for lay down feeding!!!!! Just pop her on and off to sleep I go!! haha... your poor nipple! Is It getting any better?? can't wait to see the photos of Ivy!!

I wish this child would sleep without being on me so I could get dressed and go for a walk!!! Everytime I put her down she screams!!!

    Hi all,

Sorry I am still MIA, still struggling with all my emotions, as I said before i have days where I am not so bad but some days just so damn teary and emotional. I have triciliian or karitane coming tomorrow, if you can believe it, cant even remember what time and which one of them is coming. You would think I would have written it down. Still struggling with Bfing even expressing gets time consuming as i feel like everything that needs to be done around the home never ends and by the time i get to sit Chloe wants to eat now, now now..... Poor little thing screams the house down until she gets the bottle. Yet I will continue to perservere and hopefully when the kids go back to school I can relax a bit more and have the chance to try harder with getting her to the (.)(.)'s. Ohh I am also taking Motillium to help increase my milk supply, yet I might just give actavite a try as well.
Also Little Chloe seems like a different baby since having her on the mylanta as per Dr's orders, she seems so much more relaxed so sleeping has improved especially at night. So for now though I wont get to excited except for the fact that since Friday night she slept for 5hours and not upto 3hours for her feed.
This Friday is Chloe hearing test, so thankfully I wont be going alone Dh is coming which is what I expected him to do, by what i expect is not what Dh would have normally done. Hopefully it wont be a long day and all goes well and she passes.
Little Miss V is really loving her little sister and is quite protective of her, especially with the MW's that come around home. She tells them not to touch bubby, lol. Its really cute, she jumps up next to her and pushes their hands away, and tells them No.

Ohhh and check out my ticker...... heres my little Chloe. I had her pic's done at the hospital on the day we were discharged. Im really happy with the photos, they arrived today, cant wait to show DH.

BabyLuv- Im so glad all is looking up for you. Lots of hugs.....
