MADB - Did you go to the GP the other day & get a swab? How'd it go?

JULES - Actually Eden hasn't taken to solids too well, he's just not ready. I happened to catch a good shot of him with his zucchini but he's not really interested. I've even tried spoon feeding him farex and again, he's not interested in that either (can't blame him really, yuk). With starting solids all babies, and mums are different and you will find what works for you. If you have time stalk the BB threads, you'll get some ideas there. Are you wanting to start with Baby Led Solids (where they feed themselves) or purees? I have always given solids only 20mins or so after breastfeeds. I find mornings better as baby is more alert & happy after a full nights sleep. Looking forward to hearing how it all goes

EJ - Yep, those teeth are reallly close. Especially the right one. It's buldging a little. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your BB & that rash sounds nasty. Hope it all clears soon

As I mentioned to Jules we've backed off on the solids with Eden, he's just not interested. Which is funny cause DS1 was 4.5months & took to it like a fish to water. Eden just doesn't care for it. I have put off giving him real food to feed himself at this stage & am giving him a teaspoon of Farex at 5.30pm. He doesn't care for that at all, but as he's so settled at night I wonder if that is helping. I don't want to stop it cause I don't want to upset his night sleep. He sleeps till around 6.30 or 7am now. I thought i'd leave it a week before trying him with veges again
