That's terrible you're having nightmares, poor thing. Understandable though, it must have been a very scary and stressful experience.

Will probably start DD with swimming in term 4, when it's warmer. plus our local place is closed for refurbishment (or something) next term.

We have nearly 3 years between these two and I'm thinking if we have another (we'll probably try at least) then maybe even go for a 3-4 year gap. We only have 2 embryos left, who knows what will happen The thought of having babies close together gives me the willies Cannot do it, but hat off to those that manage it. After DS there was no way in hell we were ready to try before he was 18 months old - it was just too hard. DD has been easier, lack of sleep aside, but you never know what you're going to get. In the end I think you just make do with what youv'e got, though, don't you?

Gosh EJ - Doesn't sound like much fun at your place!! I'm SOOOOOOOO thankful that DH doesn't snore....he only does it occasionally when he's got a cold/flu. You poor thing. On one hand I hope the medication works so she's more comfortable but on the other I'm hoping it's just her teeth and it'll pass without having to deal with MORE reflux issues....man, I HATE reflux!!

Charlotte - Thank you! I think he's pretty gorgeous too How clever is Hannah!! Rolling already, she's keeping up with the group just fine!! luckily you didn't join the group for her actual due date, she'd be kicking some butt! hehe Sounds like Tuesday will be a rough day for you, that everything goes as smooth as possible. you poor thing about having nightmares...I hope you can find a way of dealing with it soon so you don't have to remember it as such a bad time. Next baby...hmmmmm, DH would like them to be no more than 2 years apart but of course HE can say that....he hasn't had a sleepless night since we left hospital!!! I would like to enjoy some full nights sleeps before I go back again....having said that, I do look forward to having another one in the next year or so. I'd ideally like to try when Jacob is around 2.

MadB - You definately just deal with what you're given....there's no other choice really is there? They are more than worth it though Hope Miri is doing well.

All good here - Jacob had his needles today He was such a brave little man...had a small cry but as soon as I picked him up and smothered him in cuddles and kisses he stopped and had a snuggle. He's been a little out of sorts today which is to be expected. Luckily mum is out here helping me at the moment, Jacob didn't sleep more than twenty mins at a time today...I think they injected him with red bull!!! It's so nice to have the company with mum visiting...I've done a massive overhaul clean of my house while she's spent quality Nonna time with Jacob (in between mummy cuddles), I am so happy to have a clean house again! Just have to tell my muscles that tomorrow

Off to focus on the origin, bit hard typing, watching and yawning all at the same time!! Hope you're all well!

Wow Audax sounds like your little one is thriving!! The cloth nappies can make it tricky but the big butts are so cute

Jules Aidan was a 'big' in other peoples eyes also, to me he was just my boy. I'd just say that is must have been my milk I'm hoping for a much better night tonight Jules. Fingers crossed.

I'm trying Miri in a sleeping bag tonight.... I've been putting it off because I didn't want to upset her sleep.
However, as I pointed out to myself this afternoon, it's pretty crap anyway.
But, I rejoined, it could be worse.
Perhaps, I had to admit to myself, but not by much.

I'm the same as you EJ I can't keep up with all the chatter on forum so very sorry that I don't do many personals.
madB - how did the sleeping bag go?
EJ - How is Harper and the boys ?
Jules - Poor little man, Charlie is off on Monday for his needles. Charlie slept for 3 hours yesterday which is not like him it must be the weather.

Charlie is moving, he goes around and around in circles, he ends up in the kitchen. Only 2 more week of school and the kids are on holidays. How quick is the year going?

hmmm not very well!!
im a lot more fragile than i ever was so stress tends to upset me a LOT but having DH here helped and we survived, hopefully we dont have to do it again soon!

weekend went well thanks hun!
carpet was all ripped up, we didnt finish the painting but there isnt a lot more to do!
new carpet is in as well!

She nearly in a U shape trying to get onto her tummy. She's soo close!! Everytime she goes to roll we hold our breath thinking that she's going to make it. lol

Got injections and physio on Tuesday, so that should be fun!!

How many of you guys do swimming lessons for the little ones?

It was asked a few weeks ago, but I'll ask now!! Now that our little angels are half a year old, anyone thinking of another bubba? Its crossed my mind a few times, we've even picked out a name and we're really hoping for another little girl.
I know I'm not ready!! Maybe a honeymoon baby in September? lol...

summah is the same! nearly turns herself inside out trying to roll from back to front! has master belly to back mind u!

how did hannah go with her needles?

swimming lessons- we are going to enrol for next term! cant wait, Summah loves the water!

as for another baby- well after my tirade last time it was asked i have watched the video from when summah was born and i have lifted my "no way never again" and might think about it in a few more years!
i want to get some financial stuff sorted out, enjoy summah as a bub and when she is more independant then ill consider it, so after she is 3 at least!

how did u find the 3 year Gap hun??
ours, if we go back again, will be a minimum 3 year gap, but prob closer to 4 or 5 years....

AFU: well we have been flat out!!

we ripped up the carpet on the weekend and then did some of the painting and all that sort of fun stuff...

new carpet went down yesterday, looks good, will do the job till we do our full on reno's and then we will upgrade and get a nicer, plusher carpet...

summah hit 6 months on tuesday, and had needles today.
she did ok, screamed when she was jabbed and then paed picked her up and as usual she snuggled into his chest, kid loves him even after the pain!

summah has also cut a bottle out...
so now has 3 solid meals a day and 3 bottles, i wasnt overly happy and spoke to her paed and he said as long as she is healthy and doing as she should there is no issue, ive made a extra mchn appt to talk to her about it, but she seems to be fine so i guess we will just go with it for now

We had needles yesterday too. I cried more than the baby did She did so well, was just sitting on the floor and playing afterwards, while all the other bubbas were crying or feeding out their distress. Today she is out of sorts though. Really sore leg on the Provenar side, and a bit constipated too, to make it worse. Hope Jacob and Summah are faring a bit better. I'm still in my jarmies!

Next baby... well, I have learned better than to try and plan children. So we are planning to not plan! We're doing the NTNP thing until Eleanor is 20 months or so, and if nothing by then, we might start actually trying. We're going to let the universe decide about the next baby.

cathie, Eleanor does circle work too! She also likes to crab crawl on her back, it's pretty funny. Most of all though, she likes to sit. Preferably playing with kitchen utensils. She also loves to be hip carried in the sling, where she can grab fridge magnets and other "things" Today I also let her sit on the bench while I cooked. Loved that.

summah is doing ok so far....

got home at 11 and put her down, she didnt wake till 2, and has just gone back down...
our day is shot but thats ok, ill get her up at 530 and give her dinner and just keep her up a bit later tonight and we should be back on schedule tomorrow.

is a bit grumpy but thats about it....

Yeah, needles ... can't believe that they are all 6 months!!!!!

Pip's just turned four, and the age difference works quite well I think. He's old enough to understand, and to have had lots of mummy & daddy time before the baby comes.

Will's pretty much crawling now, commando-style. I'm finding it fun, cause Pip never actually crawled!!!! And frustrating - he sees a toy then goes off to get it!!!!
BFing still, down to 1-2 feeds from me a day, the rest is formula, 210mls a hit.

Hey gals... Thought i'd drop in while my internet is working. It's been playing up badly, I need to get it sorted soon.
We're all good here. Eden is such a beautiful baby. Such a lovely personality. So interactive. I can whistle at him & he moves his head from side to side like he's dancing lol, very cute. He is still having 4 breastfeeds a day and 2 to 3 solids a day depending if he's awake for lunch. The baby led solids is going really well. Though alot of the time he doesn't ingest much at all. One of his faves is avocado on toast. He absolutely loved the rump steak the other night lol. His sleeping is great. Still having 3 sleeps a day. They do vary in length from day to day. He goes to bed at 7.45pm & usually wakes around 7am.

Definately no more babies for us. The thought of going through pregnancy again just sends shivers up my spine!

I haven't had a chance to read through much here but will try to pop in again soon

Hi all!

Just a really quick "Guten Tag" from Germany! Staying in the tiny village of Bollensen in Central Germany with DH's uncle. It's raining today but has been heavenly otherwise. It's light from about 4am to 10.30pm and with the equinox next week we're looking at only 4 hours of darkness!

Millie has been an absolute champ. No probs equalising on ascent or descent, the only issue was the basinette provided on the second leg. She flat out refused to sleep in it. It was hard as a rock and even lined with a blanket she wasn't happy. So lots of baby wearing and very little sleep for all concerned. She's taking it all in though, her senses seem to be firing on all cylinders. Bub safety standards and dietary guidelines seem to be very different here - there's milk in a lot of prepared foods from 4 months and you don't want to know how dodgy the car seats are... I guess the Germans figure their cars are build like spacecraft so they're safe enough for babies anyway!

I had a quick read through your posts but Millie is waking up so can't do persies. Hope you're all well, thinking of you all!
