Hi everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Anyway, i just read from the beginning of the thread to try and know what you are all talking about, so hopefully i'll get a little while in peace and quiet to write now..

Thanks for welcoming me into your group, all the Jan girls disappeared, but i think you are right Meg, after a while those 4 weeks don't make so much of a difference...

Meg - Congrats on finding a place, very exciting! how did the signing/loan arrangement go in the end? We also had a problem with our homeloan place not sending out the paper work in enough time, only got it the Thursday b4 the Monday we were signing on... I was getting so stressed out and calling them to yell at them in the end! But it all worked out... How long is settlement?? Have you started packing yet? moving is such hard work, but at least you get to spring clean at the same time!

Mel - Yah for the exam! What are you studying? I used to think that everyone who left early must be really smart, but the more i think about it, the more i realise they are probably the ppl with no clue! I'm almost finished a b.sci in genetics, but looking to transfer to something (haven't quite decided yet). I think its incredible that you are studying with having a baby - its so hard to do anything and uni takes a lot of hard work, so well done! Its so great you got a picture - now you can put it up on the fridge!

Danni - How did getting the bird go? It's cute that Jett likes them...

D.A. gets really excited by my parents and PIL cat, and when our builder had his dog over i thought he was going to have a fit! But he is a bit of a bully, so i think he would just terrorise any animal he can get his hands on, and trust me, it would end VERY badly.. so the animals are outside while he visits, and he just bangs at the through the glass! We went to the aquariam a few weeks ago, he got so worked up from the fish i thought he was going to break the glass!

Does Jett try to touch the birds, or does he sit there nicely??

Sarajo - your birthday sounded so nice! Its great that everyone made a fuss, i think we all need that every once in a while! DH forgot about my bday this year, but it was ok as we had a lot on our plate then (i was due the day b4, and his dad was very sick with a stroke & infection overseas and they were talking about him flying over to be there with him and missing the birth), so really my bday was the last thing on my mind... Infact now that i think about it, i was promised a massage as a present which i've never redeemed, so i really should do that b4 my bday comes around again!

Its good to hear you are better again.. How is the stopping bf going?? How is Abby taking it? Have you changed over to cows milk yet?

Beck - Yah for Maddy sleeping better!! D.A. also went through a stage at being bad at night, and since he was sick he seems to be back in a good pattern with only 1 wake up.. Its incredible the difference it can make to your day with even a tiny bit extra! Did you do anything to change it, or did she do it herself??

Tiff - How is the sleeping going?? I also don't think anything is strange if it gets them to sleep.. Can i just ask, how do you even cope with twins?? It just seems like so much work!? Do you ever get to rest How did the weekend go??

Kate - I get so clucky when i see little ones... Somebody at my mothers club is pregnant already with her 2nd, and when i heard the wonderful news it made me really realise how much i want to be also.. But i think its really something you need to be 100% sure about for a long time.. Good luck making a decision

Renee - That is so gorgeous about Marnie clapping! DA has just worked out how to clap today, and he is so proud of himself everytime he does it! But that she did it for you without being prompted, that is so special! Must have made you had a huge smile the whole match - your own personal cheer squad! (now you just have to get her some pom poms!). How is the playgroup going? Who is it organised through??

Anyway... i'm so tired now that i want to crash, but i want to get the house cleaned up b4 i go to bed, so at least it is nice when i get up in the morning..

Went to work today for the 4th time and i am really starting to hate it.. Its for like 86 year old woman, who is a millionaire many times over and owns around 50 commerical investment properties... Anywaym i'm doing just general officework help for her, and she pays me $25p/h which is awesome, but she is old and stuck in her ways.

She still uses recipe cards to write down rent payments, and her office is very un-effiencent. Its so frustrating because there is so much potential to fix it up and organise it all, but i've realised she will never do it! So i spent them time photocopying a few things and filing a few things and she insists on watching me do it all (i have no idea why she is paying me for it at all!)

... But i'm so bored there.. besides going back for money, i also wanted to be mentally stimulated, and so now i'l really let down, but i can't quit cos we need to money! At least it is only 4 hrs a week. I really wanted to do around 10, but i think i'll look for something else to fill my time instead. I said to DH i would rather do ppls ironing at home - at least i can listen to music etc and do it in my own house.. but i would rather try and find something exciting.. Probs is if i look for something it would only be for 1 more afternoon a week (dont have a babysitter the rest of the time, and its not worth paying for child care, and i don't want to leave him to much anyway).

You girls are so organised thinking about birthday party's already... I'm not so much into huge bdays anyway (at least not until they remember it so i get some points for spending so much $$), but def. not this year as DH lost his father 3 months ago, so according to our laws of mourning we don't have gatherings >8 ppl for 12 months, DH can't listen to music, go to celebrations, shave, cut his hear (these 2 only for 3 months, which ends this Sunday so i'm excited as i feel like i'm married to the ape man atm)... we will probs have something small, just immediate family over for a BBQ and cake.

We are official TTC since the last 2 weeks, so i'm hoping soon we will have great news.. But i'm still bf and since coming off the minipill i haven't had my period, so i don't even know if i'm ovulating or not... Guess we will just wait and see how long it takes.

Had more UV therapy.. i am praying it works... The dermatologist will review me in 3 months, but i will probs have 6 months of it. Hopefully i can see if it is working in around 3 weeks... At the moment my hands are really good, but dermatitis goes in cycles of good& bad, so i'm not getting my hopes up. Someone asked if i had this since birth? No, only since i got pregnant. Well, i had a tiny little bit since i was a teenager, and i guess it has been getting a little more each year, but it flared up all over my body last April... I gues if i flares up again we will know we are having another baby Lets hope not, but my dr said it is likely it will happen every time (something about slightly higher body temp). Its hard to adjust to no cleaning, gloves for lots of stuff, but i am getting there and try not to get 2 depressed about it... Its only hard when my entire palms are covered in open sores and it like all the skin is missing of parts and then i get golden staph infections!

But ppl have it worse so i am very lucky, and i would go it many times over just for having such a great little boy!

Anyway, must run as i'm falling on my face.

Have a good night everyone.

Yael
