yeah, but what else would you be doing Bec? Sure, socialising, shopping, cleaning the house, spending quality time with you DH & DS... but sometimes you just have to give into the BB thing! My DH is playing in the garage, DD has a friend over, DS is in bed. Sure I could be taking down the Christmas tree, but it's nice and quiet, and I'm happy here. I don't get too many moments like this
Oh I could be doing lots of other things, but they are lots of other things I don't really want to be doing. I'll be off in a mo though because Jonah is up from his nap and I can hearing him pressing the eject button on the vcr and then pushing the tape back in and then repeating the process. Ben is in bed because he has to work tonight and everything else I could be doing is house work which I don't want to be doing, at all, lol.
I've just gottne home from our mini-holiday down at our beach house, tired but happy. Kate - good luck with your Ebaying, I'm about ot list a whole heap of stuff soon too 9was just waiting for Xmas to be over) - if you need any help give us an 'Oi!'
Ooh! Should we ask what you're selling Kate? I Love ebay, but I'm not an expert. I've just read your other thread about accepting offer before the auction ends. There's a lady selling her stash of nappies and I wouldnt' mind giving her an offer for some seeing I've bought a couple, perhaps she'll accept an offer for some more.
Caz, sounds like a lovely thing to do - have a mini holiday at the holiday house, even if it means coming back and doing all the unpacking and washing. I hope you got a chance to relax
We bundled up and braved the crazy fireworks everywhere to go to a party about a half hour walk from here. Al was Mr Social Butterfly and stayed awake until we got home about 10pm. DH and I made our own little party with leftover choccies and biscuits from xmas and drank ginger beer in champagne glasses! I was asleep by about 12:15AM.
DH is still crook and has been planted on the couch for about 1 week now! Very frustrating as you can imagine, we all know what sick men can be like :-/. But anyway, I should be doing some housework, it has been piling up around here...after a little more browsing around..:-)
Sorry I have been MIA for a while. We only have dial up at home and isn’t good so I usually only post on BB at work and have just come back after 12 days off. A belated Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!!
I have had a quick read of your posts and I am really sorry I cannot do a decent post today.
Kate, I am so glad to read that Rylee’s tests came back normal. What a relief and I hope she starts to feel better soon. Maybe the meds take a while to work properly. Good luck with eBay.
Rach, the market went well on Xmas Eve but I am probably only going to do one more. Hope the gorgeous Blake is well. It was good to catch up before Xmas and Amy had fun playing with Blake's toys.
Hay, sorry you have not been well but it is a good thing?
Hi Vanita, how’s your clan? I hope Dion has improved since the smoke has cleared.
Deb, wow at being 27 weeks, time does fly!
Hi Bec, how is Jonah going in his bed? Amy has been crashing into the walls a bit lately so I am wanting to put her in a big bed.
Amy is great and we had such a good time hanging out together these past 12 days. I think DH only got her up once from her sleeps. We bought her a playgym with a slide and a ride on tractor (& trailer) with pedals which she loves. She got a kitchen for Xmas too which she loves as she is really into imitation playing ATM. Toilet training is going so well. On NYE she did poos for the first time on the potty and now does everything on her own. She tells us when she needs to go and I take off her nappy and she goes on the potty but most afternoons she has no nappy and just runs to the potty saying ‘toilet’ which she finds lots of fun. She is funny as she was saying ‘mum’ and pointing to the toilet door telling me to sit on the toilet when she sits on the potty. She is learning at least one new word a day and associates the word with what it means. Oh and she kisses properly now and waves and blows kisses when SH or I put her to bed. CD9 today and a big BD fest about to begin. Ordered lots of OPK’s and HPT from Lullaby.
I will catch up with you all soon. Bye.

Ooh Gemma, I'm on CD11 so we're gonna start the BD fest too! I've got Tracey's left over OPK's which she got from someone else, so hopefully those and the lucky yellow booties well help! Sending you heaps of baby dust! Amy is growing up so quickly. She is such an advanced girl.. I couldn't imagine Blake TT yet, nor talk! He's still such a grunter!
We went into the city this morning to have breakfast at the Pancake Parlour and to see the Myer Christmas windows. Blake loved them, as did the rest of us. And well the PP wasn't on my TF diet, but it was a family day so I wanted to be a part of it. I'll be good for the rest of the day. I even lost weight over Christmas too. Only 400g but it's still a loss, so I'm happy.
DD & DH are off the the driving range so I'm going to finish surfing here, put on some washing and have a sleep - Blake was awake from 12 - 2 or 3am this morning. No idea why, but he wasn't wanting to sleep. Hence, I'm exhausted.
Oh and Deb, I so hear you about DH's and germs. We've all been sick since Boxing day, but who's the only one to be lying around on the couch? Yep, you guessed it!
I think the sickness thing is going around. DH was in bed all day the other day and is still not 100%, my young cousin who is visiting had the sicks and squirts and now my mum is not well. I've heard of many others that have not been near us that have been crook too. Yuk!
Not much going on here. Bracing ourselves for the onslaught of hot weather coming tomorrow, Thurs and Fri (high 30's). Still buggered from Xmas/NY and probably the pg too.
Hayseed, that is so natural to be tired at this stage, the heat should give you an extra excuse to stay somewhere cool. I don't think I managed to post on here much at all during 1st trimester due to sheer exhaustion.
Rachel - good on you for losing weight over xmas! That is something, as it is usually a time when we gain the kgs. DH is back at work today, so the couch is vacant for the first time in a week lol. What a bugger!
Gemma - great to hear from you and to hear how Amy the wonderkid is doing. She is still jumping ahead in leaps and bounds, clever girl.
On the TT topic, my MIL informed me over xmas, that my DH was TT by the time he was 1. So was wondering what was taking so long with Al? hmmmmmmm...(smack!). I just said he wasn't ready yet and then I pointed out that none of the other kids in day care are toilet trained either, so it really isn't so unusual in these days. Big deal!
Hi there busy girls. Weather must be good and you're all out and enjoying the summer sunshine (except you Hayseed).
Everything is smooth here- still half deaf. Al is tip top and at day care which is working out well. I am loving having some me time again. We looked at a new house today! Please be the one we get, it was (comparatively) so wonderful!! If any of you are pray-ers please put a word in for us, I really want to move!
Kate, well it sounds as if you are on the right track at least. I mean no real solutions, but some definte diagnosis, and hopefully they will be able to assist with methods of coping / settling for you all. sounds like some waiting lists on the cards.
Deb, good that Al is enjoying day care. I am praying for your house for you. good luck.
Gemma, wowee your little lady certainly is advanced. great that you had some quality time with her enjoying life.
Rachel, TF has to just pause a little for special occasions. good on you for continuing to lose.
Bec, heya gorgeous.
Hay, sorry to hear the exhaustion is upon you, heres to feeling chipper again ASAP..
Brooke sweetie, how are you?? Is life being kind?? Hope so.
