teena that sucks- what a dillemma for you! i hope you have gotten some rellief and the dr's have worked out what the problem is, or perhaps you've found alternative pain relief that is effective (whack on the head with a 4b2?- that way you can still breast feed unconcious). i'd be more inclined to give breast milk from a smoker than formula- what do the maternal health nurses suggest?

haroula - chrissie sounds pretty normal to me. except for all that sleeping through the night - that's never been my experience.

i think back to when we used to put olly to sleep gendong bobo (walking around cuddling him till he dropped off) and now there's no way i would, even if i could (and i cant with a two year old on my heels). i have access to so much info this time that i'm trying all the different techniques if i agree with the rationale - like not feeding mylo 10 times in the night - letting him fall asleep in his bed without me after he's fed, which should hopefully decrease his waking.

i'm loving the double pram- best 20 i ever spent. we even took it on the bus today (had to wait for 6 to go past before one could take us)- as mylo had an eye clinic appointment that they made when he was born. apparently his retinas dont reflect evenly, they're pale and streaky. but his eyes are fine, it turns out. to test they had to dilate his eyes w drops, wait, examine with a light, examine with eye opening clamps and a bright light. not nice, much screaming...and many hours of entertaining/containing a crazy/bored 2 yo while we waited. glad its over now.

m22 nic- libido on holiday in south france. i miss it so much and dont even get a postcard. blame it on bfing. dh has been on heat ever since the birth.. oh well, we get by.

hi to everyone else.
