Miss Loren has taken to throwing tanties everytime I put her to bed or change her nappy....My lordy..I hope she is not like this when she is 2!!!! Oh yeah she is also practicing vocalising and squealing all day...oh my head
At least she is eating atm...I can't fill her up. Today she had 3 meals and 2 had double serves.

ok so somehow Olivia must have read my last post.. She slept through.. Jacob who has slept through for the past 3 weeks didn't :rolleye: *sigh* but I Only recovered him and went back to bed but still...
Can somene please tell my kids if it is dark outside it is to early to be up???? 3 out of the 4 are awake... Isaac is still snoozing in bed.. for now
my godness nic - u posted at 5.50am this morning, I cant believe so many kiddies were awake. Your house must be buzzing at that time in the morning!
Ash's new word - Dog! hehe he said it yesterday so im teaching him that one now.. :) Mum taught him clock, he cant say it but if she asks wheres clock he looks straight up at the wall!!! clever little boy! eheh We have our 8month check on tuesday wooot can wait to see his stats again! :D

Its good when they watch tv at that hour though but I hate when they are starving and have to eat breakfast lol..
Olivia is bieng fussy this morning.. didn't want breakfast didn't want booby.. Has had a sleep but just wants to get into everything.. agh she is into the wipes now

Lauren- Clever boy Ash!! I think the onlyt thing Ty tries to say is dummy.... he gets the 'dum' part out.
Teena- Disn't slap him, although I was very tempted. i used guilt tactics instead ;)
We had such a good day here yesterday, Ty had 3 day sleeps, one of them for hour and a half, and put himself to sleep for two of them, then put himself to sleep at bedtime. Still 3 night feeds, but no screaming and he let me sleep in till eight... heaven!! Oh and the little pork chop can finally sit up! Yay!! We still get a backwards fall down occasionally, but he's got the core strength going on :D
Teena, :hug: we've been having that with Ella lately too, no matter what we do. it's awful. The thing that gets me thru it, is knowing that Mummy needs to be OK to look after baby & have baby OK too. They won't remember the crying, and the crying is going to happen anyway in that kind of mood. Just take a break & step outside for a minute, or go where you can't here it & breathe deeply. Even just for a few seconds.
Lori, I would have slapped him too. I nearly cried when it looked like DH was feeling too sick just to put Ella to bed - he had to go out to a meeting after that & I was dreading the crying session & whatever else & just wanted 5 min to myself, so I totally think you weren't over-reacting. Mummy time is very rare & precious in the 24 hour job!
wtg Ash. Dunno if Ella's got any words down yet. Think she knows her name & have started teaching her sign for 'milk' which I think she's confused with waving, cos she's started doing it... but not for milk...
too tired to remember other personals, but hope you're all hanging in there.
on the meat, we've given ella cold roast chicken & she has absolutely loved it - very soothing for sore gums.

I went bike riding again this afternoon and I am quite sleepy now.. 5am is way to early to start the day I think :)

Oh boy. We are having some AWFUL nights :( :( Screams and screams and screams. She's got a tooth coming at the top - can see the ridge so hopefully it's almost cut, but nurofen & bonjella just don't seem to be enough. She's fine through the day tho! She's also still having wind problems at night, so perhaps its not just teeth. But boy it's exhausting.
Mum is safely home from the UK, so I'm looking forward to her being over jetlag and helping with the kids again! LOL.
Well, I should go, will try and catch up soon.
And wow at the talking kiddies! Kayla still just says mumma and recognises her name. I think she recognises other names too.. not sure. We've started teaching a few signs too.

Liz: Sorry your nights haven't been so great! I am tired of the night waking and boy she cries when she is awake these days.. Driving me insane...
Olivia woke when we went to bed because Bl@@@@dy Simon coughed really loud.. I have asked him a gazillion times to try cough into his pillow or something .. When she woke I said gee thanks.. He said woops didn't think about muffling the cough..GRR I bet if he was the one who had to get up to her he would be quiet...
I didn't get her up.. she cried for about 15 minutes but put herself back to sleep.. She then woke again at 5:30 but Jacob woke cracking it at 2:30.. Man I am sick of this kid waking. he has been sleeping through again but last night and the night before he woke.. and both nights Olivia was pretty good. Actually I think Olivia woke t midnight and I fed her then :lol: I only just remembered that.. I knew I had got up to her at some stage last night. but still if Jacob had't woken up I would have slept 12 till 5:30 which is pretty decent.. aggghh..

Lauren- That's an old pic too :redface: And I just realised it looks a bit like yours- sorry! I am so bad with taking photos- I usually forget, and the ones I take are hopeless anyway. Took some yesterday but so today I will update my ticker again!! That pic is a month old, and he hasn't put on any weight since then (or has, but lost it all again with the gastro), he's still the same size now- 7.5 kilos. He's such a tiny tater. But so am I- 5 foot 2 and about 50 kilos.
Nic- Aaaaar at the coughing- Tony does that too, I could skin him alive for it....
ETA- Lauren and Nic, the ticker site you guys use, do you have to shrink the picture? I have to on lilypie and it takes forever....

Been busy today.. re arranging the lounge and stuff so its a bit more functionable with a moving baby.. Fingers crossed Simon doesn't come home and hate it...

Nic- We've starting babyproofing too. Ty was in his walker in the kitchen the other day and opened the knife drawer and tried to stick his hand in... Foxtel you lucky thing, I am so jealous.
Dh has made up for the other day and taken Ty out out for three hours yaaaay! So I have the house all to myself... and no idea what to do with myself.... I might try and read a book but I have the sneaking suspiscion (sp?) I will end up doing housework instead.
You sit down and do nothing!!!!! housework is for later.. Rest and enjoy the pease and quiet :)

Isaac is screaming by the front door. He out right lied ot me about something so I said he could wait by the front door for me and he hasn't stopped screaming since..
Jacob is back inside and playing with Olivia..
I forgot to get anything out for tea so now we have to have steak (it defrosts the quickest) and as I can't cook it Simon will when he gets home but thats not till after 6... sigh.. good but not good day...

had a horrid night here.. Ashs wind was terrible, i slept sitting up most of the night and didnt give him colic relief till the morning which was dumb, will try before bed tonight. My neck is killing me!!!:(

I went to bed at 10:30 and Olivia woke as soon as my head hit the pillow. I think she went back to bed at 11:30 but not without a lot of screaming.. and then she screamed on and off all night.. I just put her in bed with me and tried to doze.. and you know what Simon said to me this morning.....

I've been lurking away in the background, too busy to post. Mirani's such a handful at the moment. She's trying to crawl but only goes backwards. Which she is finding extremely fustrating.
Haing major problems with Alisha atm. not doing what she's told etc. Which is quite funny considering that on friday she got an honour certificate at assembly from the principal.:wall:
Bought Mirani a tickle me cookie monster and a laugh and giggle elmo from ebay, elmo doesnt vibrate though, but she loves them. they are the older style ones that she can cuddle into. unlike the tmx's.
i also went for my blood test the other day to check my iron levels again, been soooo tired lately. i go back to the drs on thursday. hopefully she'll say that i need another iron infusion, which always makes me feel better afterwards.
i finally confessed to dp that i have been dealing with depression on and off since i was 15. and i got the reaction that i'd expected (not a very supportive one:(). and he asked why i dont/ havent spoken to him about it, and i told him the truth, that he intimidates me and doesnt listen when i want to talk. so he told me to write it all down and give it to him. i havent done it yet, i just dont know where to start.
must leave it here, little miss is a little smelly.
Michelle thats good you got it off your chest, and maybe writing things down will help you too. Men are hopless with that sort of thing. I ruined a relationship due to my depression when i was younger, at least your talking about it now!
Bekz had a good idea is anyone intrested in.... On the 1st Dec or whenever We should all try to be online - an internet birthday party :D If ppl are going away its ok but thought it was a sweet idea as our bubs have grown up together in cyber space since they were little peanuts.. :D hehe

Hey everyone i was just sharing the 'party' idea with mum and she said she will help out - As she owns her own business selling Little Tikes toys she will do a pass the parcel game but internet version - This is for everyone regardless if you are doing the birthday pressie thing... and everyone picks one number 1 - 100 and the closest to the number wins and gets the Pressie a Little Tikes Toy :D hehe How sweet!! I dont know the number so itll be a surprise on the day:hooray: :)
I love the idea about all of us being online at the same time to party and reminisce about our journey since our bubs were peanuts. Hasn't the time gone soooo fast!
Buzzie, that is so sweet of your mum. I got the wiggles dance DVD and really like it. Sam makes funny faces all the time. I also got Dorothy Dinosaur Memory Book DVD which is good too - oh, Monique seems to like them too :D
Monique has her first cold and has the runniest nose and a terrible cough the poor little darling. Hubby is sleeping in the other room now and I put missy in bed with me as I am really tired during our night feeds. I guess it doesn't help when I go to bed late.

Olivia slept through again.. Thank goodness.. I got 5 and a half hours straight sleep.. Day started at 4:30 but hey I can't complain too much :lol:
Olivia is getting into everything today.. She got the books off the shelf, went out to the shoe box lol.. and why won't she stay on the warm mat?? She keeps going off onto the wood floor and its so cold.

also just a suggestion.. Should we mention what our bubs like or what size clothing they are in or need??
for Olivia she lves books with touchy feely things and is not into anything else :lol: and is starting to go into size 0 clothing.. but no need to get her that sort of thing only if you are stuck lol..

nah.. still not getting sleep here. Well, not toooo bad, but no big stretches. I actually put Kayla in a cot in Tallon's room last night to test my theory of me waking her up moving around in bed. Nope.. still woke up, so i just brought her back to the cot next to me hehe. I was actually feeling really sad not having her next to me, which isn't like me at all! LOL
But the kids' room looks quite good with both the bed & cot in there, and Tallon was excited that Kayla was sharing his room. I have a feeling Kayla might be waking up cold actually, but I'm not really sure how to make her warmer.. she's still wrapped, and then put under both a blanket & light cot quilt. I dunno... just have to resign myself to having another non-sleeper I think hehe. Anyway, I'll put her in the cot today to play & for a day sleep.. she was looking around her a bit worried when I put her in there last night, so I'll try and get her used to it.
Well, guess i should get moving and do something slightly productive today. lol. cya!
