Dont worry Nic, i would be upset about that too. At least it was something i guess ??

I think im starting a really bad habbit with Ash. I'm letting him have his day naps in my bed he has 2 sleeps durning the day and if hes in his cot im lucky to get 20mins out of him, yet in my bed every time he will sleep for at least 2 hours! I just love the 'me' time - hence why ive been a BB nut this week hehe - but im sure its not prob a good idea to get him used to.

Yay finally the damn pigeons im looking after are going on wednesday! -Those who dont have facebook, 2 babies fell out a nest and ive been looking after them, i swear its like having triplets this last couple weeks!! driving me nutts. one of them is hurt so i have to keep putting betadine on him. Yesterday i had there box outside and brought it in my room for the night and TWICE durning the night i felt something crawl over me.. damn earrwigs!!! aaaaaaaah they had crawled into the box and come inside. there were 2 more on my curtain when i woke up!! YUKO! So i said to mum my niceness is up and there going! ahhh

hehe ok thought i would share that! lol

Have a nice day everyone, and get better soon Olivia!

Lauren - Tallon slept on our bed for day sleeps, and I'm tempted to start it with Kayla too. One good thing is it makes the transition to their own big bed really easy when they're used to sleeping on a bed You just have to keep a closer ear out for them waking up so they don't crawl off!

Thanks liz, i feel better about it now i think the time to myself is just wonderful and im sure he feels better for a bigger sleep. Hes never been a cot baby, everytime i go to put him down he knows and wakes. i told mum i reckon its the sense of dropping (as u put them down, if you know what i mean) but if i put him on anything my level where hes still against my body, eg, couch etc, he will stay asleep. i think he will be better in a 'big' boys bed when hes ready than a cot.

Yeah, the cot is proving a pain for us too. I'm thinking of trying a pillow next to her in the cot tho, coz I think nuzzling up to our pillows or leaning her back on a pillow helps her feel safe and sleep longer, so before I ditch the cot all together I might try a pillow in there for her to snuggle up to.

We've had some AWFUL AWFUL evenings lately. She just cries and cries and won't sleep. And if we do manage to rock her to sleep she wakes as soon as we put her down. She doesn't go down for a restful sleep until after midnight A friend of mine asked if we can get help anywhere and i told her what I thought of sleep schools LOL.. but I also said that whenever I reach my wits end and even consider what to do about it, she changes. Anyway.. after saying that.. today I noticed she's cutting two more top teeth.. so there ya go.. there's usually a reason! How cruel would it have been to be 'training' her with sleep when she's suffering with her teeth. Poor chook. Anyway.. DH is picking up some nurofen today, so hopefully we'll have a more restful night tonight.. and we're going to try chamomile tea again.. seemed to help her last night to calm down when she got overtired.

    Hello ladies & bubs.

Lori- Yes I?m an E-bay addict, lol. We bought our DD,a lovely piece of white furniture on the weekend,it`s a shelf unit with 9 spaces with zip up coloured clothe storage boxes, adds colour to her room,it`s very nice,a real bargain for $20,it was worth over $100. I love to chase a good bargain. How about you,do you buy off E-bay too.?

Nic & hoody- cant remember the last time i had a drink, use to be a social drinker, but once all the kids come we dont get out much anymore.

About cots,I`ve tried so many times to put Kieren into a big cot,and he screams the house down, doesnt go to sleep,so i put him back into his portable cot,in our room,as it alot smaller and its the only thing that he has been in since birth, but i hope he might move into the bigger one soon, otherwise I think i will be selling it too.

Hope all mums with sick bubs get better & you get some sleep.Take care all.

Lauren: most of my kids have had day sleeps at one time or another on the big bed.. Olivia had one today for ages.. she slept better cus I lay down with her and then I crept away

Liz: I do the pillow thing when she is on my bed.. I sneak it in as I am creeping out lol..

Olivia has been up and down all day.. temp hasn't been any higher then 38.5 which by my standars isn't a high temp but is starting to get up there..

Well miss is still awake but is now calling for boo boo..
