ended up getting the fisher price plat tent from dealsdirect - too hard to shop with a 3 year old
took mirani to the dr's this morning for what i thought was just a heat rash, but its something calles roseola virus. should clear itself in the next few days.
buzz, the cais doesnt affect boys, its just harder to have them! with each preg i have a 3 in 4 chance of having a girl! i told dp before that i would love to try for a boy but in a few years when mirani's a bit bigger.
thanks for all the best wishes.
Lori: huge  from me as well.. Sleep deprivation is just horrible and it makes you feel horrendous! I hope you had a slightly better day...
i will come back later and do more personals
Simon and I decided to hve reef and beef tonight but have waited till the kids went to bed to eat and Simon is just cooking it now.. im starving.. BBL..
Wow,so quiet in here tonight, all the bubs must be keeping everyone busy.
Nic - Hi, your dinner sounds lovely tonight, you and Simon have some peace tonight, lol. we had casserole and mash tatoe. The weather in Sydney is freezin cold,I got the heater back out today,it feels like winter.
i hope to get a good night sleep, but Kieren is unsettled, had to give him Nuerofen,I think he has sore gums or an ear ache, poor bubba.
Well I hope everyone is doin ok,Iam going to bed early tonight, trying to catch up on some zzzzzzzzzzz`s.
ARGH what a day. Molly woke up super cranky today with a temp of 39 and runny nose, watery eyes etc etc so as you can imagine our day wasnt great. DD1 has been really good but tonight has had an allergic reaction to something. She is highly allergic to eggs and nut but we dont have any in the house so i dont know what she came into contact with. Her eyes swelled shut, her face all welted and she was starting to have trouble breathing needless to say i panicked big time. At least i didnt have to give her a shot with the epi pen. She is asleep on the couch i am too scared to put her to bed. She wasnt eating so i am at a loss to what she touched.
Well off to shower and stuff while i can its bound to be a long night for us.
Hi all,
Just a quick one...
Hoody- how scary. Hope she is ok
MoM- Hope you got your zzzzz's.
Minor vicotry last night. Ty stayed in his own bed till 6am. There was two hours of screaming (from him) and shushing and patting from me (laying under a doona on the floor with my hand poking into the cot), but we got there.
So mum won. Score is Ty-500, but mum'n'dad- 1 ;)
Lori- SO glad you had a better night i hope they only get better from here on in :)
DD1 still looks like she has been in a fight her face is so swollen :)
Molly is def coming down with another cold lots of coughing, sneezing, watery eyes and snot with a nice temp to top it off. Why does it feel like my kids are always unwell. I hate ppl asking me how the girls are as my answer is always negative iykwim. I'm starting to think to an outsider i must look like i over react a hell of a lot *sigh*
Hi all again.. Bit slack with the personals again but I do read
not much going in here just thought I would drop by and say hi. We were meant to go camping tonight but someone took our camping spot :( lol.. didn't feel like going anywhere else so we decided to not go.. Next weekend hopefully
Well my little eyes are closing so it is close to my bed time
was up about 5 times with Molly last night she is so full of cold again so is very miserable :( DD1 is all better and all the swelling has subsided. I'm supposed to be going on a girls night tonight leaving DH wiht the girls but really anxious about it as i know he doesnt cope well when the are unwell and Molly is super grumpy. He doesnt really get that she might just want a cuddle iykwim he likes to be able to *fix* the problem and have her happy but not so easy when they feel crappy.
Hi everyone.
Just a quick update;
SUMMER IS CRAWLING!! YAYAYAYA. Now its annoying me becuase she is following me absolutely everywhere and as soon as i open a cupboard she's in there! The first day i was up north she decided to crawl ... poor DH had to miss out for a whole 9 days!!
Oh i am loving the weather. I cant believe all of our babies will be 1 in the next 2 months!! Where has the time gone!! Must be time for another soon haha
Hello ladies, our family spent the day having a picnic and paddle at Clifton Gardens(over near Taronga Zoo)those who are in Sydney might know of it ,its beautiful there. A large park with bbq`s by the netted beach our little ones love it, our two year old built his first sand castle today, with help from his brother & sister.Looks like our weather is getting back to normal, last week it was like winter.Today was 30 deg.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend, we are lovin the fresh air & the out doors,, makes the kids sleep, lol. cheers.;)
MoM - We are counting on the fresh air helping Olivia sleep! We spent today at a bbq with friends and then visited my sister and her kids on the way home. Poor Olivia has gone to bed totally knackered - hope she stays in there!
outdoors for us as well, we had a picnic at centennial park where we fed ducks and saw baby ducks
Bah, you're all making me jealous... I worked all day and was stuck indoors :) Had a bbq tonight but, with Ty sitting out the back in his highchair, throwing his food on the ground for the dog to eat- he thought that was pretty funny. So maybe the fresh air will help him sleep too? **crosses fingers for luck**
ahhhhhhh fresh air, muchly needed here. Poor Ashie was so sick last night. i was up all night with him, vomiting big time. He was so upset, i changed my pjs 3 times he drenched me that much. He's so exhausted today tho, he was very floppy and weak wen we got up cos he was tossing and turning all night. :crying:
i think i might crawl into bed too whilst hes asleep :asleep:
Hope everyones having a better time atm
Buzzie- I hope Ash is feeling better today and you get to catch up on that sleep :)
Everyone else sounds like they are having good weekends.
Well i went on my girls night last night and was a bit naughty and didnt get home til 3am this morning. Luckily for me DH let me sleep until 11 although DD1 came and got into bed with us about 4am and tossed and turned keeping me awake til her and DH got up. Molly had a better night though is still full of cold. I have no idea how they pick up so many bugs. Its one cold after another. Well off to tidy the house as when DH is left alone with the girls they manage to get every toy possible out and scattered through the house, the breakfast things have been left for me, PJ's tossed where he dressed them etc etc. My man is not very domesticated but i dont mind as he has taken DD1 out with him for a few hours and Molly is back in bed so i can potter around in peace. Daylight savings came in for us today so it will be interesting to see how DD1 goes at bed time normally if its light she says "no mummy not night time the stars arent out yet" lol.
Hi all. I am having such a nice day :) Had a great day yesterday too
even though I hate the heat in summer it allows for fun water activities.. and the bigger plus is that the kids sleep  Went to SIL yesterday and Olivia came in for a swim with me.. She had a ball.. Cried when we took her out even though she was shivering lol..
today I filled up the paddling pool and we sat out the front in the shade and her and Isaac and Jacob played in there. then the boys went for a ride around the yard and she happily splashed and played with the hose.. now she is out like a light in bed lol..
We even went for a walk to the beach this morning.. I wish I had been motivated enought o go at 7 but left it till 10.. oh well.. always next weekend to go that early.. The turtles are out everywhere that early..
now off to browse and relax for a bit..
Ash started singing ba ba black sheep today.. omg sooo cute lol
Hoody - whoohoo 3am. very nice, Those were the days lol
Nic - how cute with a paddly pool. i so want one for ash in summer :)
Ash is still under the weather. vomited this morning but seems to be little better atm, did some shocker poos, omg i nearly vomited myself. i have no idea what has happened to him.
one of my friends at mothers group gave birth this morning to number 2, going to visit on tuesday SOO cant wait, im gonna go so mushy again. Same hospital Ash was born at so nice to go there again :)
Robs sister inlaw was due yesterday, bring on the baby ... counting down till he tells his parents!! eeep..
Hello everyone,It`s been a really good weekend to be out doors with all the family, the kids have been lovin our warm weather. We stayed home today but the kids kept themselves entertained with water bombs today in the back yard,it sure was funny, our dog would chase them and they would bust, Iam sure the dog must have thought they were strange balls.
alicia- Isnt it good to have the little ones out and know they will go home to have the best nights sleep, just heavenly, lol.
Lori- Sorry you had to work, you missed out on some great sunshine, well it looks like our warm weather is going to hang around for a little while, hope you are well.;)
Buzzie- I hope Ash is feeling better soon,it`s terriable when there not well. Get better little man.
Hoody- Hi, lucky girl getting out for a night,I dont remember the last time i went out, without the bloody kids in toe, lol.Hope you enjoyed it.:D hope the girls get better soon.
Nic- Hi, isnt great letting the kids get out in the yard to play in nice weather, sure does make them tied. How is Olivia going,is your no crying working out for you,I do the same for Kieren very rarely let him cry,it`s better that way for me too.hope your well.;)
kitten 2 b- Hi, havent we had lovely weather this weekend,Centenial park is a lovely spot, too.Do the horses still get walked around there? I remember going there when i was a child, many years ago, lol. ;) Our kids like to feed the ducks in Parramatta Park, its something all of them like to do,they get so excited.
Hope everyone is well, enjoy your evening.
Buzzie - I hope Ash is all better soon. How cute that he sings ba ba black sheep. Its so good Rob is telling his parents about Ash soon.
Hoodie - woohoo. Glad you had a lovely time out.
MoM - I would love a backyard. We are renting and we have lots of lovely open space around us but its not the same.
Nikki - Yippee for Summer - clever girl. Monique loves the cupboard, fridge and drawers. She got her little fingers stuck in the bathroom drawer today. We can't screw in any of the child proof things because we are renting so are looking out for alternatives.
We had a lovely weekend too. There was a community festival that we went to on Saturday and Monique LOVED the petting paddock. She squealed and squealed with delight and wanted to jump out of my arms to touch all the animals. They were so cute. DH went fishing in the mountains today and I'm still waiting for him to get home  Oh well, he is looking after Monique when I go to Melbourne for Australian Open in January so its all good.
Well girls, I have an announcement that I can hardly believe myself and it is EARLY days but I got a :bfp: on Friday! I am still in denial and will wait a few weeks to announce it in the BB thread but I am excited and worried and tired. Will do another test in the morning just to make sure ;) I am a serial tester.
Oops, Monique is stirring so best be off.
congratulations Tinsel - wow you must be the first from this group to go back for another bubs, for me I cannot see us having anymore unless we win lotto.
WEll better get Sofia back to bed and finish her birthday cake for childcare tomorrow - cannot believe she is 1 on wednesday
Congradulation's Tinsel and family
Tinsel- A huge congrats and lots of sticky vibes your way :) I found out i was pg with Molly the weekend of my DD1's first birthday and i love having my girls so close. I was a serial tester too pmsl my DH used to think i was mad lol.
OMG i am so tired after getting in so late last night. Molly seems to be getting better slowly and was pretty good this arvo. I have just made a heap of party invites for her. We have decided to have it at home and borrow a friends bouncy castle for the bigger kids. I am getting really excited about it. Her b'day is Thurs the 13th but we are having the party Sat the 15th its a shame non of you are perthies or you'd all be invited too. Now jsut to get everything organised and to work out what food to do etc. There will be about 20 kids ranging from 8months to 6yrs. I dont want lots of junk food but i want them to enjoy it lol so i think i will check out some of the threads on here that i have seen around and pinch some ideas.
Congrats Tinsel :) How exciting!!
Louise: Its come up so fast hasn't it? A friend of mine her sons 1st birthday is also Wednesday :)
Hoody: wow a jumping castle.. Cool.. I wish I lived in Perth.. I will get there one day.. Maybe 2010 :)
I went to bed at 9 last night :O lol.. Thats so early for me.. lucky I did cus Olivia woke at 3:30 and though oo goody I can play now. I don't know what time she eventually went back to sleep but I woke again at 5:20 and got up wit Simon for a little while. Ethan is awake already *sigh* I wish eh would realise its ok to sleep past 6:30 especially on a school morning. He will be so tired and emotional by this afternoon...
Well off to enjoy my morning coffee befoe the rest of my tribe wake up
OMG congrats Tinsel, sticky vibes coming your way :) have u been to gp and got a DD yet or still giving it more time??
Wow Tinsel - Congratulations!
Well the 'fresh air trick' didn't work for us :-( We were outside and out and about all Saturday and Sunday and Olivia has slept terribly both nights. Last night she just wouldn't go to sleep at all and then was up in the early hours again and then up early to start the day. I am a total zombie this morning! Hopefully Gymbaroo today will wear her out a little *fingers crossed*
Thanks everyone. I did another test this morning and the line is definitely there but it is not as dark as the control line yet. I think I will give it more time before I go to the GP but according to my calcs, I would be due around 4 July (I usually have a 35 day cycle). I am hoping it is a sticky little one and I've only heard positive comments on having kids this close together which is great. We kind of wanted it that way as well and this will be my last bub too.
Louise - TonyDayl was in the other December thread to ours and she is due 15 March and I have been in touch with her and she is doing great. Maybe Bek will be the next.
Hoody - I am a shocker with the testing. I did OPK"s with the last pregnancies as well (I had a missed miscarriage the first time) and then doing the pg test after the TWW. I was addicted and glad I got the cheap ones online. I used to hide them from DH because he thought I was mad too LOL. The party sounds great! I really wish we had a yard. It would be so much easier. I made Monique's invites and they turned out really well. I just need to finalise a location now.
It is going to be hot here today so when Missy wakes up from her nap, we need to do grocery shopping. Have a good day everyone.
Hi all,
Tinsel- Wow congrats. We've been talking about having anither here too. If I start getting proper sleep again I'll never want another one so maybe we should do it now too- get all my sleep deprivation out in one go :)
Lauren- Your poor little man :( Hope he feels better soon.
MoM- Ty and I love to feed the ducks, we've got a little duck pond about a two minute walk away, it's great. Although I did run over a black snake there the other day (in the car, not with the pram!!) so we have to be careful (and yes, this is in the middle of the suburbs!!!!!!!!).
That's another two nights in a row Ty has stayed in his own bed yayyy! and last night was with only about 5 minutes fo screaming. We are on the right track here.
We're off to the clinic to get weighed and head measured- Ty's fontanelle has closed up really early- at nine months- so we have to make sure his head is still growing. I'm sure it is- he's a boofhead :)
Gonna be a very hot day here by the looks of it, so I might even send Ty and dh to the pools this arvo and have some mummy time :)
OMG tinsel, wow. so happy for you.
just got back from mirani's ultrsound this morning, now just have to wait for the endochronologist to call with the results. so we can schedule surgery.
fidget was so good at keeping her little bladder full.
now i think she might be asleep:shhh:
my grandparents are coming over for xmas this year but they arrive on the 12/12 which is fidget's 1st birthday, so we are going to have a family party on the 13th. and i havent even thought of what to get her for her birthday let alone xmas!
Michelle- You have more time than Me. Its Molly's birthday 2 weeks on thurs and i have NO idea what i am getting her. SHe doesnt need anything and coming from a large family i know she is going to get spoilt. Its all just to hard lol. I hope you get the results you need so you can schedule the surgery.
Lori- woohoo on the improvement of your nights.
Tinsel- Glad your re testing confirmed the 1st one lol. Is DH excited? Will you wait til 12 wks to tell family? I told the world with both my girls at 4wks
Aussienic- I'm so jealous of your early night. Not so much with the early start though pmsl. Hope you have had a good day.
All is ok here. Went food shopping this mo then came home and put Molly down for a nap. Whilst she was asleep i made a huge tuna pasta bake thing for the girls (i always like to have some in the freezer for when i am been lazy) and i also made a potato bake and prepared tea. We then went to the park with a friend and let the bigger kids run wild lol. It has been a lovely day weather wise. Molly is still really snotty and her cough sounds more like a bark but other than looking and sounding ***** she appears much better in herself. I hope you all had good days.
Hello Ladies,
I have been lurking from time to time, but DH is o/s and I have been flat out. Only 7 more sleeps till he is home....Sara is not coping with her Daddy being away. I had her asking for Daddy at 1am this morning!!! Apparently Spiderman was in her room and she needed Daddy to get him out.
Michelle - Glad you are feeling better. Hugs regarding Mirani. You sound like you've got it all sorted though.
Tinsel - WOW a huge congratulations!!! We started ttc this month. I am now in the TWW!!!
We are loving the sunny weather too. I fill up a water table for Sara and she has all sorts of fun, mind you Loren is getting in amongst it too, much to Sara's displeasure.
Buzzie - Poor little Ash...get better vibes coming his way. How cute on the singing. Loren has just started to say na...at least it is more than just da which is all she normally says.
Kitten - I can't believe one of our bubs is 1 this week..
Hoody - Get better vibes to Molly. You are so brave to stay out till 3am, it would take me a week to get over that.
Lori - So glad Ty has had a couple of good nights.
Loren is standing on her own more and more, I am expecting her to start walking very soon.
I am supposed to be doing house work now, but I really can't be buggered. I think I may have a shower and an early night.
Just a quick drop by.. hi to everyone!
Olivia learnt new things today.. She can say Up and Yuck and oooh.. when she says yuck she is copying me and says yu yu yu.. so cute.. and when you say livvy Stand up she stands up and lets go then dives onto you. so adorable!! She is such a doll..
Bekz - thats so cute with the spiderman!! aweeeeeee
Fingers crossed for your 2WW !!! :crossfingers: how nerve racking!!
Nic - love the yu yu yu LOL they learn the best things first hehe
Off to the hospital today.. yippie cant wait to see the little bubba! :D
Ash is finally back to himself thank goodness poor thing was miserable!
have a good one everyone!
Nic - Loren does the stand and launch maneuver too. Poor Sara gets terrorised whenever she is sitting on her bean bag. Loren just loves to launch herself at her
Buzzie - I am trying not to think about the TWW. I really don't think we'll manage to conceive after trying just the once, but I guess that is all it took for Sara and Loren. You know how it goes when you try you don't get but when you don't try you get...A couple of ladies from my old bb thread have announced their pregnancies, so now I hope I can too, because they were great Belly Buddies, although I did leave them early due to m/c
OMG what a day we are having. We take 2 steps forward then 6 back i am sure. Cant seem to get on top of anything and to top it off i've been wee'd, poo'd, snotted and thrown up on *sigh* Molly is obviously feeling off due to her cold and there for been a velcro bub so its impossible to do anything. Well off to cuddle her some more as she is crying AGAIN.
Oh do you all like my ticker? I cant believe how grown up my baby is starting to look
Hoody - Hugs. Is that Molly in your ticker..She looks like my DD did at that age, very grown up.
omg hoody - Molly looks like a young lady there! wow so grown up! Hope your day starts to improve! *hugs*
ok i got all gooshy seeing the little bubba today.. awwwww but i know my time is not for a while now, so im back into reality now. :(
Brought Ash his birthday present today, early i know but kmart had a massive clearance. got this huge monster truck, its almost bigger than him lol but he just LOVEs cars and wheels. :D i want to give it to him now LOL
Yes its molly in the ticker. DD1 had way more hair at 11months. I took the photo this morning b4 things went down hill. Still having a yuk day but both girls are playing together and have been for about 10 mins so i am having a mini break. Molly hasnt slept at all today not through lack of trying though i think i have put her down about 15 times but its just not working iykwim. Hopefully it means she will sleep tonight but i doubt it. I am off to puppy school at 7pm and very much looking forward to my hours peace away from the girls. Though now i say that i am feeling guilty. Having such i blah day roll on tomorrow with happy children :)
This is from another thread i started but thought i'd see what you girls think too:
This probably sounds really ridiculous considering i am her mother but i am at a complete loss at what to get my DD2 for her birthday. She will be turning 1 in 2wks time. As my DD1 is only 20months older we have way too many toys, clothes in abundance etc etc. In other words there is nothing she needs and i dont want to just spend for the sake of it. Has anyone ever just put the money into there dd or ds's bank acc instead of buying presents or is this a "cop out" as my IL's have told me. Its not like she understands the concept of presents yet and we are having a party so we will be celebrating the day etc i just dont have any idea what to get for her and TBH dont have the $$ to waste on cr@p we dont need iykwim. With both sets of grand parents, 6 sets of Aunts/uncles and friends etc i know she is going to get spoilt.
So what do you BB girls think- money into bank acc or can you give me a gift idea
Hi all,
Just a quick one to say..
Hoody- I think we are doing just that. We have bought two small toys and any other money we would have spent is going into Ty's account (we have a piggy bank that we put all our change into and then deposit it in his account every couple of months). We have waaaaay too many toys and are only going to get way more.
Hope you're all having a good day. I've read evryone's posts but am feeling so lazy and can't be bothered doing personals *yawn*. Will probably bbl :)
Hoody - My girls have soooo many toys. Loren has got all of Sara's baby toys plus her cousins, she really doesn't need a thing. The only thing I am doing for Birthday is a picture board for her bed room. I will be taking some pics of her, and hopefully getting some artistic ones then mounting them on nice paper and framing it. For Christmas my mum has given me money to buy for the girls and I will be buying big bedroom stuff for Loren, sheets, bedrail, doona....There is no point in spending money just for the sake of it.
