LOL Lauren - that's adorable! I wish my kids were laughers. Neither of them have been. Altho I did get a 4mth giggle out of Kayla which I just LOVED, but she didn't turn out to be a giggler either. I just LOVE hearing kids laugh. I have to tickle mine to get em to laugh like that! Altho now there's two of them there's a bit more spontaneous laughter.

Lauren: how adorable!!! had me giggling too.. I love baby laughs. Miss Olivia seems to be above laughter
He is such an adorable boy

Olivia has FINALLY gone to sleep.. I ended up walking to the school in this horrendous heat to take Isaac to a Pre-prep session.. i swear I thought i was going to melt lol.. We got home about 10:30.

Olivia had a teeny nap on the way home.. She was also awake at 4:30 so I am hoping for a good 2 hour nap now..

yeh there good little buddies lol

    - Whats everyones opinion on babies this age wearing shoes??? I have pretty much been against babies wearing shoes till there old enough to be walking and really need it (thats not including the soft little ones that dont muck up there feet), more like the harder sole shoe or sneakers.
Ash broke his big toe nail almost half off today, didnt seem to bothered by it but it was bleeding, and he is always breaking his toe nails when he crawls, even tho i always have socks on him when hes outside or on rough surfaces.
I have bandaided up his toe and put his slippers on now. Was thinking taking him to get properly fitting with some good shoes, or does anyone think i should wait a bit longer ??? would love some opinions...

So cute Lauren - Ash sounds almost hysterical! Re shoes Olivia wears the soft soled pre-walkers sometimes when we are out and about, I'm not going to get her proper shoes until she is walking properly as I have heard it is bad to have them wear soles before then.

Nic - ahhh the wonders of the internet, I am sure that is what it was invented for ;-)

I am very, very grumpy over stupid people being too bloody stupid to do their own stupid jobs today (long story and replace 'stupid' with swear word of your choice). Did have a nice lunch in the city with a friend though.

Lauren - keep him barefoot as much as possible before school age. If you do need to get shoes.. make sure they are soft & flexible.. even 'proper' shoes that are fitted by the fitting people (lol) are usually very stiff and this can make kids very clumsy.

What a gorgeous clip of Ash What type of dog is Tya?

The only time Molly laughs like that is if DD1 is throwing things at her Its a game and very cute but oh so dangerous so obviously not encouraged.

Liz- Wow thinking of No 3. I am a little jealous. I really wanted one more but DH wasnt so sure and now things arent great i dont want one for at least a few yrs but then i think well the girls are just getting a bit easier iykwim why go back to hard work and no sleep. Oh its all too hard. I must really want another though as i'd be over the moon if i was pg lol.

Molly has been a star today. She went to bed at 6pm last night and didnt get up til 9.45am this mo (dont mean to brag) she must have needed it as is so happy today. Dont worry for those not sleeping through i didnt get a full nights sleep DD1 came into our bed at 1am and wanted to play, watch tv etc etc. Said she wasnt tired and drove us mad til about 3am. I was SOOOO frustrated when she then woke up at 6.30am as normal. Today as you can imagine she has been a monster as she is tired. Cant win always one or the other.

Picked up some family portraits today and they are awesome very happy with them Well off to get my girls ready for bed its 5pm so an hour til bed time (can you tell i'm tired today and hanging out for a break)

What a great sleep hood! Shame Mia didn't think to do the same im right there with ya.. its one or the other..

I to don't put shoes on the kids until they are well and truly walking.. Olivia just wore some shoes with her pretty dress cus she could.. they were on for about 2 hours I think... She owns heaps of pairs though thanks to my sister and mum.. Well 3 pairs but thats more then me

i am so hot tonight.. Ethan and Isaac are peeving me off.. Jacob is out like a light.. he might be a stubborn little bugger but when he gets put to bed he falls asleep within minutes.. Olivia is also asleep. She has taken to having cereal about 10 mins before she has her last booby feed. doesn't help her sleep through but she seems to settle quicker..

Yeah, we have dressy kinda slipper type shoes to go with dresses. Some dresses don't look right with bare feet! hehe.

Molly has super fat feet so i havent even bothered with shoes haha. I have heaps from DD1 but none of them fit molly with the width poor girl i hope they thin down a bit for her when she wants pretty sandals lol.

Lauren- i asked about the dog breed cos i thought i saw Chihuahua in Tya I have a Chihuahua who is such a beautiful boy and loves my girls to pieces even though he does get put in the toy shopping trolley/pram etc all day long. He is really tolerant.

Well both my girls in bed and sound asleep. Having trouble getting DD1 to bed these days which is really frustrating as we have NEVER b4 had an issue. I think it all started when DH went to Vietnam and its all insecurity issues. She cries to sleep in "mummies bed" or wants me to tickle her back on the couch til she falls asleep *sigh* I dont like to put her in my bed when she goes to bed as then i cant go in my room etc and she keeps me awake when i go to bed. I dont mind if she comes through in the night at all (and most night she does) i jsut like her to start the night off in her bed.

I'm sat here waiting for DH to come home yet again. I am feeling really uptight as we are both supposed to be making an effort (and he has been) but last night he told me at 8.30pm he had a friend coming over for drinks- he didnt get home til 8pm though so no us time. Then today he got home from work at 4pm and went fishing at 5pm promising to be home by dark. Well its 8.50pm and i can assure you its well and truly dark. He wanted me to wait b4 cooking dinner til he comes home but i can tell you i am NOT cooking now. So i'm hungry and grumpy cos for 2 days he's seen the kids no more than an hour all up (well except for DD1 when she was up last night in the night lol)

OK i've ranted and rambled enough. Gonna go have some cereal and a cuppa then i'm going to bed.
