Adkins - yes it is a huge weight lifted off. but if i think about it i feel very sick in the stomach from nerves. - i think its just the fact of waiting for the unknown..A little like being pregnant the first time LOL

Nic - Yay on the sleep. I dont think i can even remember a night i slept that long.... *sigh*

Trish - nope, no number. I didnt want them ringing me incase i wasnt prepared for it. i just gave them my email addy.
I meant to ask you, how do you deal with Abbey being a squealer? Ash is going nuttso.. and found to quickly shut him up i needed a shock factor and was tapping his hand, i NOT a smacker but nothing else was working. BUT he caught on very quickly and when mum does it he smacks back... when i saw that i was blown away and told her we are never doing that again - i dont want him thinking its ok to smack!
so now ive revolted to blowing in his mouth LOL he hates it but even tho ive done it 100 times, he still gets a shock lol. what do u do?? i cant wait for this phase to be over!!!

Ash is becoming such a little chatter box these days its soo cute. Says up, down (does actions with his hands) says round and round and round when i put his food in the microwave. on and off when we are in the car and the lights turn on and off lol and my absolute FAV!... "Oh O' ! when he crashes toys or drops something he says "Oh O" - this morning he was in the bath and slipped, it was just a little one as i caught him, and he sits up and says "Oh O" i cracked up laughing!
    I just love this age!!

Oh - i just brough ash his first BIG boys bed!! - heres the pic - soooo cute! getting it on monday brought from ebay. $80! sweet as!

Girls - I have been out of the BB forum for months now due to full time work and raising my DD and with her birthday being four days be\fore xmas and all the family catchs up before xmas to do.

I have had a quick skim and and hoping to contribute more as from what I have read everyone is doing great and has provided much support for all on here.

I was just wanting feedback from those who have had their 12 mth needles - hope many needles are there 2 or three? The Doctor I saw was unsure when I asked even though she has an 18mth old herself. I am booked in for DD needles with my regular DR in a week and it has just been playing on my mind.

Has anyones littlies had any adverse reactions? Has any one decided not to have them just yet or have them one by one over a period of time?

This is reallyplaying on my mind and I just can't get it out of my mind.

Kts - Ash had his yesterday. He seems to be fine so far. Barely cried at all after it.
The MMR usually take a week or so for reactions to kick in if there are going to be any.
I was very happy for Ash to have these ones, especially now there saying measles made a come back a few months ago... how ever the nurse was saying there not fully covered till they have had the second dose at 4yrs old i think it was??

It 3 needles at this stage - MMR, Meningococcal C and Hib
I personally wouldnt take Ash to someone who didnt know which needles were supposed to be given, sound sussy to me!

Bekz- GL for your scan on Tues

Buzzie- WTG on posting the letter. A friend of mine got pg and things didnt work out with the guy. He NEVER told his parents. On her DS's 1st birthday she looked his parents up (she'd never met them) and she called them. They organised to meet with her, her parents and her ds's dad- their son. The meeting went well BUT since then they have had NO contact. She is ok with this as she knows she did the right thing. Anyway what i am getting at is no matter what the outcome you should be so proud of yourself to know that you have done the right thing :hugs: Hope you hear from them Mon.

Well finally feeling a bit better today. Took the kids to the Zoo and Molly was so good i couldnt have asked for her to be better

    Hi all,
Aghh Ty is being so whingy today, I think it's the teeth.

Trish- No I haven't got an amber thingy for Ty but a friend suggested one to me not long ago, they are supposed to be fantastic. Let me know if it works pls?

Hoody- How was the zoo? We took Ty to the aquarium the other day and he just loved it

kts- Yep, like Lauren said, 3 needles- I think they do one in each leg and one in the arm, is that right? Haven't got Ty's yet, he always get a bit whingy afterward and I wnated to wait until after Xmas so I didn't have to deal with whingy baby and whingy rellos all at once I think we'll go next week... I want to get him done before I go back to work at the hospital. If you're worried about them, there are some fantastic threads on BB about vaccinations.

Tinsel- Ty's back teeth have just errupted lately, but the good news is they bothered him much less than the top ones. Poor Monique, I hope she cuts them all soon.

Liz and Janine- Howdy Ty is kinda feeding himself from a suction bowl that sticks to the tray. We work with three spoons and he feeds himself yoghurt or very soggy Weetbix. But I sit with a spoon too and pop in big mouthfuls while I can, or it takes forever... but ti is the only way to get him to eat off a spoon.

We went to thetrash and treasure markets this morning. Bloody hot but I picked up a really cool FP ball tower toy for Ty for $5. Not that I need anymore toys here... I just can't walk past a bargain
