LOL Great pic Lauren
Had a great afternoon.. We went down to the beach after school. Olivia gave us a fright.. She was on the boogie board and fell off in ankle deep water and some how took in a lot of water. She seemed a bit breathless for a while there.. and her lips were a funny colour. She seemed fine.. We dressed her and she was a funny colour but by the time I finished dressing her she was back to pink.. we watched her for a whole and realised she must have just been cold.
Off to look at my pics and load tham on FB :)

:happybirthday: Happy Birthday Olivia! :birthday2:
Lauren - Please thank your mum for the wonderful gift! We got it this morning and even though Monique was so tired, we unpacked it and she had a ride. She loves it (although I couldn't get a decent photo of her smiling or even looking at me). She made her motor sounds when she was trying to push herself along. Very cute. I have put some pics in my gallery: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...y.php?cat=1005
Will do, So happy she loves it! there just great. Ash plays with the one at the shop and loves the little bits that flicker when it moves!

Hope work doesn't suck to much janine :)
me I am grumpy :( Simon has gone out.. Olivia screamed her head off for some unknown reason.. She was so tired yet hungry so inbetween screaming fits I gave her a banana and she ended up sobbing herself to sleep on my lap :( I did notive tooth number 8 has finally popped through...
We had a pre prep session at the school for Isaac this morning and he tried on a uniform *sniff sniff* so grown up but baby looking.. He has Ethans preschool teacher so I know who he is going to at least
Hi everyone,
 HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY OLIVIA :birthday2:
MAY YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY,BEST WISHES!!
Also working today, will try to get back later on....Cheers to all.
Aww, Nic, we had a day like that on Tuesday. Jake was a little monster and I had to ring DH to say hurry and get home from work cause I'm at breaking point! Lol, we have our good days and bad days hey! Hope your day gets better hun.
Yep, work still sux and I'm having such an unproductive day, doesn't help that i can't help myself but read posts on bb, oh well better get some work done, only a couple of hours to go and still so much to do!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone.
We have had a great day and are all very tired. I took Olivia to storytime at a bookshop and then to the park. Then tonight we took Olivia swimming for the first time as something special to do on her first birthday. She was very good and loved kicking in the water :D
Must admit I have had a few bouts of tears today to think that my beautiful little bub is growing up so quickly :crying: It is almost impossible to think that a whole year has gone by since she joined our little family.
Too tired to do personals, sorry. Will catch up tomorrow. Night all.
Hi Alicia, sounds like you have a very exciting Birthday, lots of fun!
This year has gone by so very quickly, our little ones are soon to be Toddler`s,lol. Sigh....... Glad you all had a lovely day.;)
Just catching up on studies, all kids sleeping well, here.
Good night all,catch up tomorrow.:asleep:
Morning all,how is everyone?
I?m up & out early today, can`t say I?m used to being out working so early, though.
Off to the city for a few hours today, then home,at least it`s a short day for me today.
Kieren is having a bottle with DH,& the other kids have`nt got up yet!:D PEACE!
Liz- :partysmiley: :hooray: Happy Birthday to Kayla :birthday2:
Well got to run now, peak hour traffic is a killer in Sydney,it will probably take me nearly an hour or more to get to the City Centre, lol. bye all have a nice day.;)
Morning all :)
MoM I think the birthday list might be a little out.. if I remember correctly Kaylas birthday was 5th November.
Olivia was a little wicked last night. She woke at 9 and just wouldn't go back in her cot. Would sleep beautifully in my arms  so at 10 we just put her in the cot and shut our door. she probably cried for about 2 minutes then went to sleep til 5:30 this morning.. We have decided not to do controlled crying anymore but will let her cry when the moment needs it and last night was one of those moments..
Simon is at work today and I have a semi idea of scrubbing the house. I really want to but I know I will start then one of the kids will distract me and I will lose all motivation for it.. might start in one room and get that sparkling..
yes her bday is 5th Novemeber, sorry i had it written down here as November but must of had a spaz moment and typed december.. lol sorry
its ok Ash isn't one yet you cn still blame baby brain!!
im having a crap day :( kids feral.. Olivia was in a mood.. I tried cleaning and everytime I got up she cried and followed me but if I sat down she would go and play happily.. *sigh* she is asleep now though.. Jacob just bit Isaac and broke the skin.. why has my 3yr old decided biting is the onnly way of defence.. if I could swear on here without getting in trouble you can bet this post would be a touch more colourful
Morning all,
I am having a bad case of the mummy guilts today. Ty has been having huge screaming fits every day for the last three. They last about an hour and he works himself into such a state. And the last three mornings he's woken up at about 3am with a fever and will only be feed back to sleep, which I hate doing because it gives me a back ache. And dh keeps piking out to the spare room. So this morning I got real cranky with Ty and now I feel so bad, he's sick.
And now I gotta go Ty is awake after half hour sleep, bbl...
 Lori
yes i  hear you nic LOL, i had one of those days yesterday, had a terrible night with ashs tummy so i started the day tired and i was trying to shop for dinner and ash was just screamming at the top of his lungs throughout the whole of coles, just cos he could. EVERYONE was staring at me. I was sooo angry. i stormed home and just ate chocolate all arvo feeling sorry for myself
As soon as mum got home i handed over ash and said im going for a walk. - Thankgod she was more than happy to look after him. - It was just beautiful outside, muchly enjoyed it and came back feeling much better!
I think Ash is starting to become a home body, just hates going out and wants to stay home and play.... hmmm maybe itll be different when he can actally walk around and not be carried everywhere... mind u im gonna be in so much trouble then if he wants EVERYTHING!! - *shakes at the thought* :crying: - im starting to think childcare will be very good for him - 8 hours of continuous play and attention in the one place all day, no being carted around and going in the car.
Anyone taking there bubs to Carols by candlelight????
We're going tomorrow night so excited. but Ash hasnt seen fireworks before so i hope he doesnt get scared!! :o
I was going to but SImon is working Sunday night :(
Too hard to go to big public places and try walk home at night with 4 kids :(
We are taking Olivia to the local carols on the 20th. I don't think the fireworks will bother her, she hasn't been fazed by much at all yet. I hope the weather is nice for them.
Hi again,
Feeling a bit better now. I hate getting cranky in the middle of the night, I always feel so guilty. I am just sooo tired no matter how early I go to bed. And dh leaving me to deal with it all doesn't help.
We probably will go to Carols, but I have no idea when they are on. Just the local ones I think, no fireworks there. I'll have to check that, thanks for reminding me Lauren.
Ty has been on round the clock Nurofen for about 36 hours now. Time to give his little body a break I think but the Panadol just isn't cutting it and his fever keeps going up and it making him so miserable. Don't know what to do.
And yesterday I forgot to double check the gate on the stairs and was washing up in the kitchen, I could hear a slapping sound. Popped back in to check on Ty and he was half way up the stairs. So luckyI checked when I did.
Like I said, case of the mummy guilts today...
want something to make you feel better
I found Olivia playing with the toilet for the 2nd time this week *vomit* first of my kids to find thier way into the toilet.. ugh.. scrubbed hands .. gross.. lol.
i am less grumpy this afternoon.. Olivia is in bed asleep (for now) but has been for for well over an hour now. boys have been watching tv.. pretty quietly.. I might go for a walk to the park with them this afternoon.. stinking hot though. maybe we should take our swimmers and paddle in the shallow water at the beach?? not sure how I feel about taking 4 kids to the beach for a swim on my own.. won't do it most likely.. too risky
Must be something in the air. i feel like crap here too. Can i just crawl up in bed and hide for the day...??!!!
Trying to work out if its hormonal or im just loosing the plot. These headaches arent helping tho.
Took ash to see the local occasional care centre. Enrolled him and he only was there 15mins whilst i signed him up but he loved it, went off the second i put him down and didnt look back.
So im going to take him for a couple hours on monday and start having some time to myself. If he enjoys it, why not?!?
It would be nice to drop him off to do some shopping without screaming the place down the entire time!
ooooooooooooooh better run ash is eating the dog food... hmmmmmmm im surprised he hasnt started growing fur yet...
Lol Nic, Ty's new favorite game is playing drums on the toilet...
Lauren- That occasional child care is a brilliant idea, I might try that- there is one in the big shopping centre near me :D Ty loves being with other babies and it might make him a bit less clingy.
lori - the one near me is great, no fees of any sort or contracts or set times - nothing!
Just pay as u need for $10 an hour. Min 2 hour max 5. But he said the first time doesnt matter, just go for a coffee and come back if i want too, thought that was nice of them.
Hes booked in for monday 1-3pm CANT WAIT!! lol
Ive pulled out my old books ive loved to read and going to just sit and have a couple hours to myself in peace!!
Hello everyone, sounds like some of us have had a rough day.
Our two & half year old Tiger went to bite Kieren on the arm today,as he didn`t want him to play with his big scoop truck,it really suprised us,he`s due to start pre-school after xmas, hope he`s not going to start this now.
Nic, Sorry you are having a bad day,it`s never ending sometimes, hope tommorrow is better for you. It`s really hard when your by yourself to manage so many kids, even i have trouble keeping up with mine, especially at the shops. lol. take care.
Lori, It`s the pits when they are sick and just want to cry all bloody day & night, drives us all nuts ay! Hope you get a break & Ty is feeling better.
Oh,on the occassional care it`s terrific, when you want to get the kids use to a pre-school setting,it makes for an easier transition if you can use occassional care,i did it with mine when i wanted to go shopping in peace with friends or if DH & myself wanted time out foe a little while to look around at things.
Buzzie,Hi I kept the Birthday list you typed up,lol.Well I supose i was a tad late ay! not to worry.;) I know how you feel when the little ones start their tanties at the shops, everyone just stares & makes their little comments. If I?m in a bad mood,I usually tell people to F--- off!!!........:o All kids have their moments no matter what age they are.I?m suprised my hair isn`t grey, lol. hope your days are better soon too.
Alicia, Your lucky your little one isn`t fayzed by noise, our Tiger hates loud noises,so I don`t think we will be going to Candles by Candle light either. He is heisteracle when we get a thunder storm & cries, just couldn`t go through with the crap from him.:wall:
I will be glad to have a break from my casual work next week, the early hours & getting out the door is so dam hard some mornings.........Sighing.Today was only three hours thankfully.
We took all the kids swimming this afternoon,Tiger really peeved me off, that kid of ours doesn`t like the water. Kieren is like a fish, loves it. Well going to spend some time with Dh & have a nice cuppa. Hope everyone has a better night with the little ones, see you all tommorrow. Sweet Dreams!!.........:asleep:
Hi again everyone,
I forgot to mention that I have a new job starting next year!!!
I wasn't really planning on going back to work yet but the chance to teach just one day a week came up and I couldn't really let it pass. I think it will do me, and Olivia, some good to have me out doing somthing else one day a week :) Actually feeling a little nervous about facing a bunch of littlies again after more than a year out of teaching :o
That's great Alicia!!
Susan- i'm suprised you don'thave grey hair too. I do, and i only have one little darling to drive me round the bend!! ;)
yay alicia! Thats great your excited about it. Its funny ur say ur nervous after being out for a yr. Ive being nursing for 6 yrs and still am nervous ive forgotten everything LOL
Will you put olivia in care for one day?
:happybirthday: Happy Birthday Summer:happybirthday:
Have a Great Day!!!
Hi all,
Alicia, you will be fine hun,if i can do it you can, lol. It is a bit scary though! I like the break away,& you get to have adult convesations.......
Lori,LOL maybe i do but i change my hair colour every couple of months maybe i just havent looked hard enough  I never stay one colour for long!
Nic,Hi how r u? Whats the weather like up your way? In Sydney we already have reached 36 deg, We might go swimming again later today,if i can be bothered.
 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUMMER!!! :partysmiley:
See you ladies later, just got washing to fold up now,it`s all dried quickly today.
its a little warm up this way susan..
I just took the little kids out the front in the only shady patch and filled Olivias wading pool.. had a nice 40 min swim cool down for them.. upstairs back in the Ac now.. Ethan and his mate are playing Xbox so I kinda have nothing to do now.. Well housework but pooey to that :P
Wish I knew the neighbour across the road better. her son is going to school with Isaac next year and it would be nice to have adult company during the day especially as our Dh's are on the same shifts.. but alas I am to shy :( I have spoken to her though but not confident enough to invite her over for coffee or something kwim? *sigh* oh and one more depressing thing I thought I was 31  only realised this morning I am actually 32..
nic I always have to really think to work out my age, I know I am 34 in May next year.
Been busy here and just a bit stressed out. Work is really manic atm, not sure if my job will be continuing in sydney and as a contractor it is just a month's notice and thats it. Kind of resigned to the fact that the job will go but it will not be the end of the world as I feel as I have been the best mum I can be to the girls this last 6 months. I cannot remember the last time I read a book to the girls without thinking just go to sleep so I can get my hours done from home. The money is good but the kids are just so much more important.
On a happier note Sofia is much more mobile now and I would not be suprised if she was walking by Christmas
hi everyone,
mirani's hernia op went great on wednesday. it was just day surgery so we were home that night.
and she's healing up nicely, no stitches, just sutures. and she hasnt had any pain meds since thurs.
and she now says 'hi cheeky'. which is so cute.
glad to hear that everyones bubs are growing like little sprouts. a friend of ours has a baby who is around 5 months old and is soooo tiny next to mirani.
take care everyone.
Hi Michelle.. so glad Miranis op went well.. How cute of her saying Hi cheeky.. That much be so adorable!!
Louise: so will you stay at home for a while or look for other work?
Had a really good day today.. Was just nice.. Kids were great.. life is so easy when the kids behave :D
Anyways we are going to watch a movie tonight.
Happy Birthday Summer!
Michelle - how wonderful that Mirani's op went well and she is doing great. "Hi Cheeky" how gorgeous is that!
Nic - I always have to think about my age too and for years I was 28 LOL. I'm shy too so I know what you mean but next time you see her, make a coffee date. She could be just as shy as you but would like to hang out too.
kitten - I hope all works out for you.
MoM - I hope you all cooled down today. How nice to go swimming. I got my first grey hair at 19 and now I have loads! I will be putting a dye through it before Monique's party next weekend though much to DH's disgust. He doesn't like me to dye my hair while preggers.
alicia - that is great about your job next year. I'm nervous about going back too because it is a whole new team except my Manager and a different system where lots has changed as well as a new enterprise agreement that I have to get familiar with (I work in HR). By the time I get into the swing of things, it will be time to go on maternity leave again
Buzzie - how wonderful to have 2 hours "me" time.
Lori - I get cranky in the middle of the night too and I feel really bad about it afterwards. Just when I'm really tired and she just won't settle. DH is in the other room so I get no help during the night.
Speaking of which, I made the transition the other night and went to bed with DH rather than in the room with Monique and he is a blooming night owl and had the light on until midnight which is way too late for me and then Monique screamed the house down at 1.10am so I took my pillow and went back in there.
Monique cut the second bottom tooth as well as one of the top teeth but it is giving her so much grief. She had a slight fever all night and today and was whimpering in her sleep the poor little darling. She is super clingy too.
Lauren, I was teaching for 8 years before Olivia arrived but it is stll weird going back to something after a long break.
Today we set up Olivia's sandpit (part of her birthday present), it is only a little one in a fish shape but it is big enough for her. Anyway she refused to out her hands in the sand and when she did would imediately pick her hand back up and wipe off all the sand :-D Don't start thinking that she is a little neat cherub though because when she got out of the sandpit she crawled straight through some mud, played in the mud and even ate some mud! She just wouldn't have a bar of the sand, crazy little girl :-)
Headache here tonight so off to bed for me. Family bbq tomorrow for Olivia's birthday, not really looking forward to it at the moment...
