Michelle - happy to hear the op went well! btw - sutures is just a medical term for stiches - she prob had internal dissovable ones.:lol: there great these days with that sort of thing. I couldnt believe i had no sutures on the outside of my c/sect. :o

Alicia - yuko on the mud. - hope she likes the sand pit when shes ready lol

Tinsel - Ash is cutting 3 teeth at the top atm, i think we have it pretty lucky hes not in too much stress about them. havent used nurofen in ages!

Didnt end you going to carols last night, it was chucking it down here so didnt risk it. Will go to our local one.

Michelle- Glad Mirani's op went well. She must be a tough little cookie!! :)

Tinsel- I left dh in Ty's room last night to deal with him and tried to sleep through the screaming. It took about 45 minutes. Felt bad for both of them but stuff it, I do it all the time, he does it maybe once a month so he just had to deal with it. He is still in bed now but, having a sleep in :rolleyes:

Lauren- :o I'm amazed that you had no stitches on the outside from your cs too. If you don't mind me asking, did it leave a scar?

Alicia- Ty won't have a bar of sand either. But he was like that with grass for a while, so :dunno: , he might get used to it. I think I'm going to get a clam shell sandpit for Ty with the $$ I'm getting off people for his birthday (all mine and dh's family are giving us $$ instead of pressies, so we can but what we need, which is ok with me I think. Hoping we get some pressies but- what's a birthday party without present?)

Went to my mg xmas party yesterday. It was great, but 34 degrees outside and we were there for 3 hours (in the shade, but still bloody hot).

And remember how I said Ty slammed his finger the other day? I really didn't think much of it, I could move it and put pressure on it and it didn't bother him and wasn't causing any pain. But looked at it yesterday arvo and his whole fingernail had peeled off and was only hanging on by a little bit. Took him to after hours gp, who reckons it iwll just fall off evntually, or maybe get ripped off while he's playing. Eep. Gave us some anitbiotics in case it got red or pussy or Ty had a fever, but it's not even infected. Poor kid (actually, it's still not bothering him but totally grossing me out :sick: )

aww Poor Ty.. Hope his finger continues to remain unbothered. I too am grossed out by that sort of thing lol...

lori: I didn't have stitches on the outside this time either (for my c/s) actually I have 3 very fine lines where I had my 3 c/s. all about a cm or so apart

Olivia is so cute these days.. she came up to me when I was eating my breakfast and started yelling MINE MINE lol.. so I gave her some and then she yelled MORE. I just love thislearning stage its so cool

she is walking about 50% of the time now.. she will walk but when she wants to get there in a hurry sh crawls..

Had a pretty decent day today.. Was just nice.. very hot though.. big storm went thriough about 7 and another one hitting us now but just rain this time not the incredible lightening and thunder.. Poor Olivia didn't like it.. she was clinging to me like anything... but still went to sleep ok

OMG i am finally back............its been over a week and i have had severe withdrawals. Our comp got a really bad virus or something (i dunno its all too complicated) but needless to say we have had NO internet access since fri over a week ago. It only got fixed by one of DH's friends an hour ago and although its late and i'm knackered i had to pop in quickly. I have 158 emails to check etc so the next few days will be interesting.

Few updates from us-
Molly has 2 new teeth so now we have 8
Molly is pulling herself up.
I got my nose pierced on Mon (yes i am mad but hey it was spur of the moment and i love it)
Molly has had the runs and vomitting since Mon so off to Dr's tomo although its not like a bug to be honest i think its a sensitivity to milk as its only after milk or yoghurt iykwim but we will see.
DH and i doing really well again our marriage problems have settled and i am really HAPPY.

I havent read and caught up i think i'd be here all night if i tried so i might be behind for a few days but i will be back tomo i promise i have lost time to make up for hehe.

Hoody your not crazy - i love tattoo and piercings. i have my nose done too. - I had my belly done 3 times my tongue and 9 ears holes but i took everything out when i was pregnant cos i didnt want to look like a young trashie mum. - All my tattoos are very nice and have D&M meanings - like when my doggies died etc - so i dont look that bad, but i do miss not wearing my nose. I only took that one out cos i was worried ash would rip it out :S

Hi Hoody glad you are back :) I love tats and piercings too- I got my nose done again a couple of months but it got infected so had to come out :( I've had belly, tongue and a stack in my ears. I've got a tiny little tat too, but my dh is covered in them.
Ty's fingernail is just about off, hanging on by a thread, poor little booger.

ouchy Lori.. Im shocking I would have to pull it off lol..

*shudders* don't even say that Nic the thought of it grosses me out so much. I'm just trying not to look and ignore it :D

Lori - your poor little guy with the nail, hope it's not bugging him too much and comes off on its own, I couldn't pull it, I'd be grossed out!
I love tats and piercing too... had my belly done but took it out when i was pregnant and i have 3 tats as well, all quite tasteful and in places not too noticeable unless i'm wearing my bathers lol
Well.. Jake is now walking!! Yea!He's been taking steps for around 2 weeks but is getting better and better every day and yesterday walked from one side of the lounge to the other (mind you, he did fall over a few times but got straight back up!) I'm so proud of my little man!

I`ve just collect our mail today,to find three out of eight Chrissy cards delivered today,have been ripped open or tampered with,talk about peeded off,just as well my loving 87 year old Great Grandfather sent our kids a cheque for Chrissy or i suppose that would have dissapeared!!!...........What mungrals some people are!!!!

Well, I`ll try to be later,hope everyone is having a good day. I?m off to pick up a slippery slide for the kids this afternoon,we have been buying them some out door things so they enjoy being out side with out being too bored,iykwim,lol. E-Bay has had some really good bargains lately!!!

Well went to the drs this mo and got him to check Molly out. He too thinks she might have a sensitivity to the cows milk. Like me he doesnt want to jump to conclusions just because of DD1s allergies but we are going to try soy milk for a few days and see what happens and take it from there. Molly has finally converted to just the one sleep every day now and goes down from about 11.30 for anything from 1-4hrs. DD1 had a bit of a reaction at playgroup this morning to some gingerbread that someone bought in obviously they forgot she is allergic to eggs and i wasnt paying enough attention :wall: Thankfully she only licked the icing off it but still it was enough to make her swell and welt. I guess i should be thankful she didnt eat it and go into anaphylactic shock but still i'm a bit annoyed iykwim. Its like on the weekend i took her to the Myers Xmas party and specifically told them of her allergy so they would cater for her. On arrival all kids had set seats and a lunchbox with brunch in it. Some stupid mother decided that she wanted a pink lunchbox instead of a purple so SWAPPED it for DD's b4 we were seated. Luckily i checked what was in it but again i was so annoyed some ppl who's kids dont have allergies have NO idea i tell ya. Sorry for the rant i'm obviously not in hte best mood :redface:

Hoody - I totally understand where you're coming from, you have every right to have a rant about that! Jake doesn't have any allergies that we know of yet but I do know a little boy who has a potentially fatal reaction to nuts, you're right - people who don't have kids with allergies just don't give a rats, it's just wrong! Hope your day gets better xx

Adkins we have to be SO careful. DD1 is allergic to all tree nuts and eggs so i guess i am a little over the top but i believe i have every right to be iykwim.

And Hoody- Again, :angry: That mum swapping the lunch box would have ticked me right off too. After years of working with kids I am pretty clued up- watching a three year old go into analphalytic (sp?) shock at a b'day party a few years ago was enough for me. The mum hosting the party hadn't been careful enough with the food prep. Was the scariest thing I have ever seen.

Sposed to be 31 degrees here today but still cold and cloudy so far. Ty's nail is still not fallen off. And last night the poor baby fell over in the kitchen- face frist- and split the inside of his mouth with his dummy. OUCH!!!! Poor little man, he is just so in the wars at the moment :(

hi all, just a quickie. Yesterday didnt go as well as i hoped. He was tired to start off with so it had disaster written all over it. he cried 3-4 times in 45mins i ended up leaving him - i thought 2hours was too much to start. and he clinged to the lady like a koala not letting go, screamed when i got there! was soooo sad. i almost bawled when i left him. So the guy didnt charge me for the day and we will try again tomorrow for an hour.
They are going to be closed for 2 weeks ofver chrissy and i think its going to get him back to square one by the time he has to go back, so they sudjested ringing ABC and seeing if he can do some time there.

Also went to see santa in the morning.. omg i have never seen a child scream and shake in so much fear!! we wont be doing that this yr!! :lol:

Has anyone got there goverment grant yet??? im dying for mine!! ive spent too much for ash this yr eeeep!

Hoody, Adkins- It always amazes me how some people couldn`t give a toss about other peoples kiddies,especially when they know they have servere allergies,that can potentially kill them........:o Some people just don`t think!!! :wall:
I got into an argument over Peanut M & M`s, that my sister in-law wanted to put out at a kids party,I asked her did she know if any of the kids coming had allergies and she didnt ask.....So I was kinda in her bad books for bringing it up,but I`ve seen what this does to our kids and it`s no fun going to Hospital. How are both of you going?

Lori , If it doesn`t rain it pours! Poor little Ty,gee he is having a bad run lately ay! :hug:
I put in a complaint to our local post office yesty they said they would look into the mail being touch! Like Yeah,PIGS MIGHT FLY !!! :angry: The weather has been weird lately we got a hell of a thunder storm here yesty after 4pm & i had to drive in pooring rain.

Buzzie, I felt for you Hun,believe me it does get easier,after the little ones settle in,the clingyness could last about a month though,so just be prepared for the tears. It wouldn`t be the first time I`ve walked away from day care with tears rolling down my face,but in the end,Ash will have a ball !;)

The Wiggles was great fun except they broke the big red car in the session before ours so we didn't get to see it. Monique loved seeing Wags, Henry and Dorothy and she grooved and clapped along which was really cute. She got a bit cranky and tired towards the end though. There was this boy in front of us maybe about 3 who slapped Monique's hand because she had her hand on the back of his chair (he wasn't sitting in it at the time) and then closed his fist ready to whack her and I pulled her away quick smart and he hit his mums arm. I gave him a death stare, pointed at him and said NO. Felt like a really protective mummy and would have had words to his mother had she noticed. Meanwhile the mother was giving my sister stares like why aren't you controlling your children and hers were chucking tanties, screaming and hitting my child WTF!? My poor sister had her two kids plus the little boy she cares for twice a week who is a real handful but we had them under control.

MoM - I would have been cranky if my mail was tampered with too. Did the kids get some good pressies today?

Buzzie - I had to have a giggle about Santa. I have been driving Monique by Santa for a while now but I don't think she will like him esp because she is very clingy at the moment. The Santa in our Westfield is apparently very good with the kids and tells the parents step by step what to do like put the child on my lap, don't break eye contact, smile etc. He sounds great. I'm sure Ash will get used to being away from you eventually. I'm sure we will go through the same thing in January when I go back to work :crying: We don't get our govt bonus until tax time because we don't get fortnightly payments. It should arrive soon though.

Lori - poor little Ty. Hope he is okay. I would be grossed out with the nail too. I told DH that I wasn't doing the belly button cord but we didn't have to worry about it in the end anyway. Yuk, gross me out.

Hoody - hello and welcome back. I would have been so cranky at the stoopid mum swapping the lunchbox. Blooming heck. Thank goodness she didn't eat the gingerbread man. That is so wonderful to hear that you and DH are back on track and that you are happy. The pg is going well although I am so anxious to have my scan to make sure everything is going well. It happens on 19 Dec so a week and a half away. My tummy is so big at the moment and I think my sister suspects but we are telling our families at Monique's birthday party this weekend.The all day sickness has pretty much gone which is great but I think the extra iron supplement really helps.

adkins - yippee on the walking that is a great effort for Jake. Still no walking here but Monique has finally mastered getting down on the ground after standing up instead of screaming for me to get her down.

My Aunty came over today,she bought the kids their Chrissy presents,and she wanted them to open them,as she was going away,so she stayed until the big ones came home from school,they got some beautiful things today,very lucky.

Olivia was walking so well today.. like hardly wobbling at all. still 50/50 walk/crawl. She is getting very demanding with the boys which is very funny to watch.. Scary at the beach.. Went there this afternoon and i was winding the kite in and assumed Simon was watching her but he was taking pics and I looked up just as she reached the water .. woop.s....

Can't take your eyes off her for a second I tells ya.. Climbed on the coffee table yesterday..

Well i have officially finished and wrapped ALL my Xmas presents well they have been done since Fri. Very proud of my self for been so organised. We took the girls out tonight to see the Xmas lights and they had a ball. Both are full of colds and out of their routines anyway so figured that we may as well go tonight as they are bound to be grumpy tomo anyway. Silly logic but i hadnt left the house all day and Molly wouldnt settle so off we went at 9pm. If i told my IL's they'd think i've gone mad i am normally so strict on bed time haha. As i said i am living in the house of boogers so didnt do anything today apart from house work and some parking off on the couch. I did manage to clean my car when both girls where asleep though so the day wasnt entirely wasted i guess. Molly is super clingy at the minute but i think its just her not feeling great (well i'm hoping when she is better she wont be as much) SO much green snot, the runs causing the most brutal nappy rash and a low grade temp too- poor baby always seems to get every cold that goes around.

Thanks Nic :) Little grumble bum is in fine form, has done nothing but whinge since he got up *sigh* But he got his first pressie- a peek-a-block dump truck, so that made him happy :) That was off a friend, waiting till dh gets home to open the ball tent and bag of balls. he will really love that.

Susan- i'm good hun how are you? I hate driving in the rain too, it scares me. Last weekend after work I drove home from the city, in the dark, on the freeway and it was p!ssing down. I was terrified. How are all your little ones? Would you beleive my dh has strung the chrissie lights on the balcony but not actually connected them to the power yet- they have been like that for a week :wall:

Kellie- Glad your sickness is a bit better. How cool, telling people at Monique's party, that will be so exciting!!

Hoody- We've been meaning to take Ty for a walk and look at the lights but it is difficult to get to, he is never up late enough!!

Ty's nail finally fell off yesterday, and it seems to be bothering him even less now. Tough cookie! :)

Thanks Nic for Loren's birthday wishes. Our computer broke last week then we went on holidays to the Sunshine Coast. Hence I haven't been on BB.

We came home yesterday only to walk in on a smelly kitchen...My fridge turned it self off whilst we were away.

Poor Loren did not have much of a birthday. After travelling home then coming home to a horrible mess. Then we had to get to Sara's daycare Christmas Party. I'll make up for it on Sunday when we have a family party for her.

I hope everyone is ok. DH and I talked whilst on holidays and I have promised to give BB a break for a while. We are so busy atm and it seems that I love BB a bit too much. So if you don't hear from me for a while please pm me or email me on bekzajac@bigpond.com to catch up.

Buzzie - I can't find the birthday list in the posts. If you have it saved somewhere, can you please paste it into your post again. I will make sure I copy it this time.

Monique is driving me crazy at the moment. She will not keep still on the change table now and will grab hold of me and then when I get her down she flips over :rolleyes: very hard to change a nappy and get her dressed.

She is also grinding her bottom and top tooth together - eeeeeewwwww the noise freaks me out completely and I have to hold my teeth with my tongue if that makes sense.

Now for the last two nights she wakes up at 8pm and won't go back to sleep even though she is dead tired and has been waking up screaming in the night. I know it is teeth but the only way to settle her is to feed her which I want to stop doing during the night because it is a habit for her now. Maybe when the teeth don't hurt so much.

Yesterday she started pulling my shirt up to get a drink :o she has never done that before and thought the Wiggles was a good place to start. She did it again today and it is always when we are out. Pretty funny. Might get an early night. Hope everyone is doing better than us at the moment.

I`ve been up since 5:45am Kieren has been waking early & wants to play.......Well he will be going down for a sleep soon,as I want to go & get our Sants Photo`s done this morning. It`s P!ssing down here today.

Talk about having troubles with nappy changes & getting Kieren dressed,takes me all day,then he has learn`t to crawl to the edge of the bed & get off head first,it`s funny,but not if your not watching,iykwim.but luckly no accident here,lol.Take care.

As for watching the kids. i don't go very often on my own. too scary lol and definetly not to swim.. I will go to a pool to swim but not the ocean when I am on my own.. Ethan is quite scary. He is at an age where he thinks he is invincible and simon and I are quite paranoid about water. He keeps going out deep to "catch a wave" but he doesn't get the ocean is to unpredictable. So we try go to pools of water rather then where the ocean is.. There is usually a sandbar between us and the ocean. Anyways its jellyfish time here and they are everywhere so it looks like out beach time is off for a while..

Susan- Ty had a lovely birthday, thanks for asking. We got him a pop up tent with balls to go in it, and he got a stack of other pressies as well, and more to come on Saturday :o TIme for a toy clean out I think. Hope your Santa piccies go well :)

Tinsel- Nappy changes drive me nuts atm, Ty has a big tanty every time. And he has started pulling my shirt down in public too :rolleyes: not fun- i try and keep an eye on him so I can give him water and a biccie before he gets too hungry, that's when it seems to happen most.

Nic- Are they box jellyfish, the really scary ones, you get up there?

Raining here too, pretty miserable. Getting things roganised fo the party- all non-perishables bought, soft srinks, dispoable cutlery, plates, etc, candles for the cake, banner... list goes on. Just have to pick up one cake, bake another, and get meat, bread, and salads. And start my anti-rain dance in the back yard :D

- im still around, just having some stress issues atm not doing too well, but im ok.
Its finally come time for me to spread my wings and get my own place again so as soon as i start work full time in march im up and out, which is long overdue i think! I will miss mum tho, but i need to start being more responsible for Ash and make him a 'real' home.

Ash isnt going to occasional care anymore as ABC said there happy to do 2 weeks of orentation before he starts on his own, so i was very happy with that, so thats not till begining of jan.

Better go, off to yell at the stupid barking dogs again - whom i was seconds from rehoming yesterday cos im seriously loosing the plot with her barking!! grrrh
