Hun, maybe if you explained to his mum what you're trying to do and the way Rob is responding, and explain you don't want to overwhelm Ash and would like to introduce him the family a little bit at a time, and you don't want to cause any trouble but you'd like to start the process asap, while Ash is still really young. Maybe she'll understand that- she's a mum, after all. And if Rob doesn't like, well then, bad luck!!

I really feel for you. You're trying to do the right thing and he is just making it so difficult.

    Hiya Ladies..

Lauren: I would say give him time but seriously he had 9 months before he was born and now 14 months.. I;m sorry but its time to think of you and Ash. (please don't think I am being mean) I just think bugger what he wants now.. If you want him to know his Grandparents then go right ahead.. When the time comes and Ash asks who is Father os or why he doesn't have much to do with him tell him upfront.. Meeting the Grandparents will just be like you going to a mums group or something and meeting other people.. Ash doesn't have to go there without you.. Drop round for coffee from time to time.. ease into it.. I really hope things work out for Ash and your sake.

My father had every opportunity to get to know me as a child and he never did.. I re met him at my wedding 10 years ago and he still doesn't make an effort.. I haven't seen him for over 3 years and he only lives just over an hour away now.. I knew my Nanna.. I didn't see her much but I knew who she was.. I don't feel like I have missed out on anything great by not having my Father in my life.. I had my Grandfather who was like a father figure to me.. My mum did a wonderful job as a single mum as will you.. Rob has to understand as time goes on it gets harder and harder..

You are doing a wonderful job and I hope you get some great support from his family eveb if he isn't involved

Now I am off my soapbox  (hope I haven't offended Lauren. If I have I don't mean to)

I am a very red girl tonight... We went to Agnes Waters (beach town) today with some people Simon work with.. very long hot but fantastic day.. I made triply sure the kids had sun cream on and I forgot myself.. *sigh* When we got home we went over to one of the guys houses for a swim and I was having a great time till Jacob threw something into the pool and split my eye brown open.. *woops* Danm it hurt.. It didn't need anything but a towel held to it or a while lol.. Jacob kissed it better and said I put a bandaid on it mummy then I take it off when it all better.. Such a sweet heart

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend...

    Hi ladies,
Another wet day here,Kieren is much better, but Tiger has Croupe again.
I wish i knew why he keeps getting it....sighing.....We are having a very quiet weekend just watching kids movies. Today we had a really bad thunder storm come through and the little one were crying it kept making us jump, the thunder was deafening,we even had hail, what is it with our stupid weather.

Nic- I love your sexy Avi,hun! looking good, lol. Hope you eye isn`t too sore,i bet that was a shock.....kids! Sounds like you had a really good family day.

Buzzie- Well hun,I think Lori & Nic have summed things up really well,I think you should just get on with your life, gradually introduce the Grandparents if they seem keen, but as for Ash`s dad, well, words can`t really describe a bogan like him,you don`t need him hun.
Lauren you must make Ash your first priority! which we know you do,your a terrific Mum & you need to focus on Ash & yourself now, stuff Rob,it`s his loss, bloody Tosser! Sorry hun,but how much more upset do you need to go through,ay..... I?m with Nic...sorry i try not to offend, but Ash needs people in his life who want to be with him, hun.
I really hope thing work out the way you would like then too.

Lori-Hi how is ya? Sounds like your been out party hard my luv, lol. You have fun, hun, enjoy yourself while you can. How`s little Ty going? Hey,did you get that bad storm today,it was scary.....

Well hope everyone is doing well,I?m so tired from the kids being sick, but crap happens. night all.

Thankyou everyone, no im not offened because you are all very right, how long do i have to keep hurting myself and as well as ash also when hes old enough to undertsand his dad is messing him around. He never ended up msging me yesterday.

One other reason i wanted his family to know besides so ash could know them was so he can start taking responsibility for his actions and start having some family pressures, so i guess at least he has some of that i guess...maybe..

ok time to move on and just get on with me and ash..hes NOT getting my new address when i move anyway, so dont have to worry about that.

    thanks so much everyone...

susan, hope Tiger gets over this round of croupe asap...poor bubba

    Hi all,

Lauren- Big sweetie... I wish I could personally give him a huge kick up the butt for you...

Susan- We didn't get that storm hun, it must have gone around us. You poor things, I hate thunder storms. Hope Tiger's croup gets better, croup is so nasty. **touch wood** it's been a while since Ty's last bout of it.

Nic- Ouchies on the eyebrow!! But kisses make it better, awwwwwww.

I am just so lazy atm, I can't be bothered doing anything... I am going to a BB meet up tomorrow (woot!!) and I have to give a speech on Tuesday that I only just found out about so haven't written yet

Buzzie - Wow you are having a tough time of it. Hugs sweets. I think Nic, Lori and Susan have given some great advice.

Susan - Glad Kieran is better and I wish Tiger a quick recovery.

Nic - Oouch Nic. I hope your eye gets better and your sunburn

Liz - I hope your DS gets better too.

Not much happening with us here. Loren is into everything as usual. She is quite cute atm, does Twinkle Little Star, dances in circles and gives her dolly a hug and kiss. Day 2 of daycare was harder. She cried for 1 hour after I dropped her off, but she settled and had a good time after that.

I was a bit stressy for a couple of days because I had the house sprayed for ****ies and then I got asthma and I did not feel bub move for 48 hours. I thought that the chemicals did some thing to the baby (what an idiot). Anyhow bub moved this morning for me so I think everything is ok. On the name choices so far Eva is winning. We just can't think of anything else.

Best go Miss Loren is having a hissy
