Alicia-Sounds like Olivia is very happy with her new pets,hun.that`s so cute.
My little ones used to like all the bubbles as well as the fish....keeps them entertained forever,lol.;)

Kts 64- Hi there,Kieren has a bottle before bed of a night,and I knoe I`am naughty,but I`ve been putting half a teaspoon of Milo in his Milk,as he has gonr off it,and doesn`t eem to want to drink the plain cows milk...sometimes he takes his brother`s bottle with the Soya Milk...lol.
I wouldn`t be too worried about your little girl being a chubby bub...my DD,was very chubby ubtil she was three,then just became more active,went to day care...and got taller and slimmed right down,she is taller than average for her hight,but in now in the normal weight range,even though she is 8.....some kids drop weight all of a sudden,just keep up with your heathy choices hun...your doing well,hugs.
My DH and i are both overweight,but would only have a takeaway meal if we are lucky once aweek or even a fortnight.the kids dont eat junk food here all home cooked fresh meals,lol.....they complain.....but are used to it,lol.

Nic-Hi how are you hun? Miss Olivia sounds like such a clever cookie......I think girls are so much smarter than boys...just my opinion...lol.
Olivia knows heaps of words Nic,your a credit to her. Way to go withe toilet too,my two little ones hate the toilet,even with the insert in it & Tiger hates the potty at home, but will use the toilet at day care...Grrr.....my boys are a bit lazy i think....but i think i will leave thr training until Spring now....see how they go then,I hate toilet training,my DD was so easy to train.

Buzzie - I think that pic was taken 4wks ago.

Kts - Loren is no shrinking violet!! I am not sure what she weighs but I am sure it is around 11kgs. She eats more than DD1 (not hard) and she has milk before bed, although she doesn't have any other milk through out the day. Sounds like you are doing a great job. Everything in moderation I say. Hope your dad gets better.

I will be starting toilet training in summer, reason being the weather is hotter and there is less clothes to wash and they can walk around nappy free without getting cold. I started Sara at 18months and she didn't get it until she was 2years and 3 months. I think I started too early with her, but Loren is already starting to show interest in the potty/ and toilet so I am hoping training will be easier with her.

Hi girls.....boy have i had a crap day......kids have been total asswipes today....Kieren is starting to copy Tiger and Tantrums are starting,I got a Shoe thrown at my mouth & have a big fat bottom lip.:rolleyes:

Last night Kieren was running through the house & ran into the lounge room door way,has an egg on his head,and his nose started to bleed.....it scared the crap out of me.....screamed the house down! :wall:

Dh ,did a lovely thing for me today he ordered me a new Desk Top Tower,& I think I get it on Saturday.... We had a power Surge & lost our DVD Player & PC- Tower Stuffed up,hasn`t been a good week.
Why is it when you start to build up your savings it all goes down hill again....I think I need a good stiff scotch...lol.

I am exhausted.. Such a busy day today.. We are going camping to a place called Cania gorge tomorrow for 3 nights.. I spent nearly all day shopping or packing.. now i am shattered. I just put my last load of washing on and once the kids are asleep the girl across the road (they are coming too) we are going to transfer things between fridges to make it easier for packing the eskies in the morning..

both our partners are working tonight.. Simon is finishing at midnight though and her partner is finishing around 2.. Or at least the hope to :lol: We plan to get away by 8:30 ish.. Its only a 2 hour drive but easier to set up before the midday heat..

Miss Olivia has another new word tonight.. Nanny.. finally :) Nanny was pretty happy too

OH and she asked to go to the toilet tonight :) and she did a wee. I am so excited..

Well I better go.. things to do. Kids in bed almost asleep.. I hope to get some chill out time before bed though :)

Nic - 10wks..OMG!!!! She can't come until the end of the financial year..Her Daddy is very busy at this time and he can't get away from work ( I have been told this by DH's boss). Although mummy wouldn't mind a pre July 1 baby because bubba can go to school a whole year earlier!!!

We had a nice weekend away up on the Central Coast,my Great Grandfather lives there,went into The Entrance for Anzac Day,was really nice,right by the water.

I'm finally, finally, finally back online... it's been a long six weeks. I'm not even going to try and read back through, I'll just jump in from here. Anything major happened? I missed you all, I hope you've all been well and the kidlets are doing fine.

All good here. It's Tanty Town atm though. Ty has finally hit 10 kilos and looks about to cut his last four teeth (for a few months anyway). He has a two massive purple eggs on his forhead and a scrape on his nose atm, poor kid is so clumsy and just runs at 100 miles an hour when he's excited, and this time he hit the edge of a brick wall *ouch!*

I have a belly :D and I feel pretty good apart from a sore back and occasional morning vomit.

Missed youa ll :D so glad I have my 'puta back...

Mom - I hope your mirgrane leaves you quicly..nothing worse.

We all have the snots and coughs here. We are not too bad though. I have to go back and have another glucose test. It seems my levels came back high from the last test. I have never been called back before so hopefully the second test will come back ok

We are home. We got home around 4:30 yesterday. I just want to go back. It was so nice. the kids had blast. Livi has even more words :lol: When we drove home yesterday she yelled MUMMY COW!! was very cute. she has come home with bruuises, scrapes and mozzie bites. She walked into the trailer when we were setting up and got a nice little bruise right between the eyes *sigh*

Sleep wasn't so flash. that first night I was ready to pack up and come home but once te sun finally rose I was all good :lol:

Anyways hope everyone else is all good.. Will hopefully upload some pics today

Nic, Ty and Olivia have identical bruises :lol: Ty has one, same shape and size and same place- I'll have to put a pic up tonight once I clear the massive backlog of pics on the camera. I felt like a bad mummy taking him shopping today- between the bump and the scab on his nose, poor kid looked like noone owned him...

We have been very sick here, im finally getting over my cold and ash has gotten worse.. havent slept in 3 days!! he coughs all night then cries cos i think it hurts his throat.

well interesting news here.. robs sister announced on the weekend shes pregnant again (9weeks) ... couldnt help but feel a little jealous but very excited to see a new born again! hehe

Buzzie - Get better hon. I had 3 bad nights with Loren coughing and cying etc. Congrates to Rob's sister, although I know how you feel. My SIL feel pg when I was trying for number 2 then I lost number 2 and she was still pg..It was a bit hard to take but thats history:)

Lori - You should see Loren...green snot running down her face with big red bites!! She looks very negectled atm. Your belly will be big before you know it and you won't be able to get out of bed..like me!!

Miss Sara has been so horrible to Loren. My whole day seems to be telling Sara off for pushing, pulling Loren etc. Grrr they were getting along so well too.

Oh hugs to all that have kids with bruises, bumps and colds. Kids have given DH and I yukky colds which we are getting over slowly and the kids are antagonising each other all day, Maria is not doing so well in the sharing aspect of playing lately, and Fia, well she likes to play with anything that Maria is playing with.

Fia was funny in Forbes last week, I took some stuff into the Salvation Army shop for mum and Maria and Fia went to the toys corner, well she comes up to me with a doll and said Fia's baby, it is identical to Maria's except the skin tone is a bit browner, so we have an addition to the family which my dad scrubbed up beautifully named Sally by my mum.

OMG Ash finally cut his first molar today!! woot.. LOL soo cute! hope he goes ok with it. poor bubba. been waiting for him to be able to chew properly!!

Lauren - Olivia just cut her third molar and there is absolutely no stopping her in the eating stakes now :D She loves to eat a big piece of meat!

Nic - Love the new ticker. How grown up are our littlies looking now?! Today I told Olivia that she had to be gentle with a friends baby because she is only little and when I said 'Will you be gentle?' Olivia nodded her head and said 'little' - soooo cute!

Bek and Lori - Wow the time seems to be flying for you two. DH and I have just started discussing number 2 - scary but exciting too :D

Susan - Sorry you aren't feeling well. I get migraines with AF so I know how you feel, they totally suck.

I don't have time to do much these days but I have been lurking. Will be so glad not to be full time working soon and not be so tired.

Lori - welcome back! So happy your belly is growing nicely. Poor little Ty in the wars. Monique often has bruises mostly on her legs and arms and marks here and there.

MoM - Blooming AF. How awful to get a migraine with it too. Hope you are feeling better.

Alicia - good luck with the TTC for number 2. It is scary and exciting all at the same time.

Kitten - welcome Sally! I bet Fia loves her. Monique is into wrapping her teddies and cabbage patch up and patting them to sleep lately. She sings the same song to them but I have no idea what it is. I think they must sing it to her at childcare - must ask them.

Nic - poor little Olivia with her bumps and scratches. Sounds like camping was nice though.

Bek - Less than 10 weeks - EEEEEK! I cuddled my new little nephew on the weekend who is now 6 weeks old and is the same size that Monique came out but couldn't believe how tiny he was. I don't think I am quite ready for a newborn in the house so am glad I am leaving work 6 weeks before the due date to get organised. Hope you get over your colds soon. Nice belly pics too. I think we are about the same size.

Monique is doing well and has 3 molars all the way through now. Her speech is really coming along and I can't wait until she speaks sentences. She has moved up to the bigger kids room at childcare and loves it but we will be reducing her from full time to 2 days in a months time. She is such a handful these days into everything and she never listens to me :rolleyes: She is so much fun though.

Tinsel - hello lovely.. I have just asked about you in the BB thread. I bet you are tired atm. I am getting very tired and cranky lately. Loren is cutting her eye teeth and she is such a handful, although she is no where near as active as Sara was thankfully. Mind you she chuck more tanties. Loren has also started putting her babies to bed and giving them a bottle and feeding them. Very cute, this was some thing Sara never did until recently. How is Monique going in the big bed?

Well Poor olivia has more lumps and scratches to add.. *sigh* Last night the neighbours DD pushed Livi to the ground on concrete. 3 scrapes up the side of her face and a bruise right in the middle if her head.. Then today I was sitting right next to her on a chair while she ate and she slipped forward and whacked right under her eye.. Poor thing .. She takes it all in her stride though.. Most times she doesn't even cry but if she does a quick cuddle usually fixes it. sometimes she wants Boo then shes right

She was a holy terror last night. Woke at 11ish finally let me go to sleep at 1 then she was awake on and off all night. She refuses to wear a blanket so gets cold but it isn't cold enough to rug her up heaps.. So she just has flannies on.. then she woke at 5 demandind boo.. then she slept till 7:45 but alas I couldn't.. School boys to get ready..

susan: sorry to hear you are taking a break from BB but will see you on FB.. Hope you cook me another yummy meal at RC ;)

Well I am supposed to be doing housework but all motivation is gone for now.. Kitchen is clean and all ready to mess up for dinner again :/ Ethan is off to a school disco tonight he leaves at 5 and gets home at 9:30. hope he goes to bed well when he gets home though.

Nic- Poor Livi! She sounds even worse than Ty when it comes to face scrapes. Having the same night time problem with Ty- likes to pull his socks off, and gets cranky in a wondersuit, but won't have blankets either, so he ends up freezing.

It's tanty town here, Ty has been a screaming, non sleeping mess the last few days. I think he's finally cutting his eye teeth, then that should be it for a while until the next set of molars.

What is everyone doing with day sleeps atm? Ty was pretty firmly on two naps, one at 9ish and one at 2ish, but I think maybe some of the sleep dramas we've been having are him- dramatically- dropping a nap?

Im here. I tried posting the other day and it kept timing out and then I had to go out so left it..

Livi and I have head colds and Poor Livi is getting 4 teeth at once. Jacob did the same thing at almost the same age. We have more new words

Mobike (motorbike), Kangarooooooooo Duck and Quack, she is starting to say Ollie which is our cats name. and she can say Coke :lol: She has never had any but I think perhaps I drink to much lol.. surprised she can't say scotch as well hahaha (ps never have drinks in front of the kids lol)

Well its bedtime in our house WOOOOT..

We had an eventful Sunday night. DH was off fishing and Monique and I had a lovely day catching up with my sisters but after her afternoon nap she wasn't herself and was very clingy. She didn't want any dinner and practically fell asleep in her highchair. She was so tired I didn't even give her a bath. When she went to bed I noticed she was breathing a bit fast so I kept checking on her every 20 minutes. DH got home about 8.30pm and I said that something might be wrong with baby girl and when we checked on her, her heart rate was very fast and she was still breathing fast as well as making whimpering sounds in her sleep. We took her out to the loungeroom to keep an eye on her and she was so lethargic. I called the health intake line and after doing an assessment decided that we should take her to emergency to get checked out. So off we went at 9.30pm ish and they checked her heart rate which was 197bpm (normally 150bpm or below). She was dosed up on Panadol and Neurofen which helped a lot but her heart rate didn't come down until around midnight. We got checked out by the doctor and he said it was an infection of some sort she was fighting and we decided to go home to watch her. I didn't get much sleep with her beside me and I stayed home with her on Monday but she perked up by dinner time and was fine for childcare on Tuesday.

Other than that, everything is going well here. Only 2.5 weeks of work left.

Tinsel - i am following you around BB atm..haha!! I had to post wishing Monique a speedy recovery. Poor little miss.

tinsel - ooh poor thing. how scary for u to not know what was happening. Good to hear she recovered well.

Nic - so cute on the words. I just love the things ashie says now. it just amazes me how quickly they can repeat something, even when they havent heard it before!

Lori - ohhhhh god sleep! not a good topic in this house. I am off to see the sleep specialist next wednesday CANT WAIT!! need serious help here.
Ash has an apt with the gastrointerolegist tomorrow so hopefully some more answers there tho.. But he got so bad now since his cold. hes 10 times more clingy, but i dont want to start any new routines till i see the sleep lady on wednesday.

Tinsel - sorry to hear you had a scare but luckily Monique recovered quickly.

Lori - with the day naps situation I usually work around what we have on and how Olivia is doing. She still likes to have 2 shorter (about 1.5hr) naps but if we need to be out we will often skip the morning nap and she will have a longer afternoon nap, I just go with what she seems capable of. For example she should be having her morning nap now but she is still playing quite happily so I will leave her for a bit longer and see how she goes. We do have a routine, it is just not too strict.

Nic - Do you think Olivia is picking up more words as she is the 4th child? My Livi talks all the time and we know what she is saying but I'm not sure her words are clear enough for lots of other people to understand. She very clearly says 'fishies' though now that she is soooo in love with her goldfish :D

Lauren - That's no good about Ash's sleep, I hope the specialists can help.

My poor little Livi is covered in bruises too. She seems to constantly be bumping herself on things but it doesn't worry her at all, she just gets up and keeps going. We bought her a top that has 'Little Miss Daredevil' on the front and it totally suits her :lol: She has 11 teeth now (8 at the front and 3 molars) and is starting to look really tall!

DH and I are thinking of trying for number 2 at the end of the year. There are some things we need/want to get done around the house before there is another little munchkin around, but I am starting to get clucky..... Poor DH said the other night that he was glad I was getting clucky as at one stage her thought I wasn't going to want another bub and he was disappointed. He is right, after all the drama with Livi's birth, all the complications afterwards and the long recovery the furthest thing from my mind last year was going through all that again, but now I think I could do it as the little bubba at the end would be worth it.

Nic - Olivia is so good at talking. Sara was like that. Thankfully Loren has started to chat in her own way heaps lately, pitty we don't understand it yet. Although Sara talks so much that it does my head in some days so I am glad Loren has joined her atm

Well I have exploded in both my belly and my butt!!! Uncomfy town is here, although I am enjoying seeing the little foot protruding from my belly.

Ive had the worst week EVER... and just to top off my crappy week i had to pick Ash up early from ABC to take him to the doctors apt and i walked down the hall and one of the staff was walking down the hall way with washing and goes 'oh ash is crying at the door'
so i walked fast up to the closed door and saw his little face in the window screaming crying with tears streaming down his face, his face was red raw, like they have been crying for an hour straight look! i picked him up and said what happened and the first lady said he cried cos i had to leave to do the washing and the there was NO one in the room cos the assistant was in the ajoining room putting a baby to bed.. so she comes out the room and says oh yeh started crying when the room leader -another lady- went on her lunch break (i know he likes her but..) so i asked what time was that.. 2 pm... i say.. well and what time is it now... 2.20. They had left him screaming at the door by himself the whole time! I was FUMING!! How dare that lady put damn washing before my child when she could of been comforting him!! i could see the look on her face when i walked through the door like Oh Crap your here and ash is crying! I stormed out of there sooo angry and as soon as i got in the car burst out crying just from having a crap week to them doing this to Ash.!! So im going to go physco at the director on monday and tell her im sick of this crap and i will be pulling him out!! As far as im consered if i caught them doing it then, im sure that was not the first!!! Grrrhh makes my blood boil thinking about it now!

Ive applied for another place today and its so perfect, much better than the others and right next door to a day care i would love to put ash in!!! praying so much i get it!! but as usual, heaps of applicants applied :(

My lovely kids have made me a poster which is hiding away. I handed them a bag and said go fill this with leaves and flowers and so on and you can make me a poster. So they did lol.. I can semi see it and its so cute. Will take a pic tomorrow and share.

Well my clever little monkey I swear is getting cleverer. She can now say Camera lol and can count to 10 copying me. you should hear her say six.. Its so freakin adorable lol..

Does anyone have anything special planned for tomorrow? Us well. Simon is cooking me a lamb curry in the camp oven. He was going to do it in a fire in the yard but due to night shift doesn't think he will have enough time to do it intime for the kids to eat as well .. But I think we will have a little fire anyways and roast marshmallows :D
