Yay go Chrissy :) Happy 2wk mark!
We had a MCHN check up as well. Ripley is a bit jaundice all of a sudden but he's fine otherwise so the nurse didnt seem too concerned. He's weighing in at 3190g, so gained over 200g since his last weigh in on Sunday :) Makes me happy because I know my milk is doing what it should be! Everything else is fine and big brother even got a quick checkup and pronounced perfect in every way (all 13kg of him OMG no wonder I almost fall over when I pick him up lol).
Now the only person left to brave the scales is me. Im trying to put it off even though I feel I look better than I did after having Jett. Im dying to know what I weigh though. I know I shouldnt care.....
Anywho off to read the manual for our new Phil and Teds pram. Going to test it out with my two munchkins tonight grocery shopping.
-
Anna - that's great!!! Go Ripley! As far as weight goes... i've lost 12 kg!.... is strange considering i only put on 4.5kg during my pregnancy!....Happy about that though!!!!!!!! so am looking better than i did before i got PG, except for the flabby blubbery belly! LOL but will start some abdominal exercises once OB gives the all clear and hopefully that'll help a little!
Louise - that's great re Sofia's weight gain!! I broke my kitchen scales last week..i dropped them...hmm so i need to go shopping at some point and buy a new one!...might get one that lets me put Chrissie on too, good idea! :D
-
Haroula: I am pretty sure the soft spot is normal and the Dr thinks so too but measured her head and will redo it next week when she has her needles (:() to double check.. I just wanted to be reassured.
Sounds like you had a fantastic night.. must have been the night for it
Louise: Way to Grow Sofia... Thats great growing :)
Anna: Great growing for your kidlets as well :)
Went to the Drs.. She thinks it is all normal but will recheck it next week to double check..
Olivia has been such a sweety today. Starting to talk to us now and lots of smily eyes.
-
nic - That's great!! I can't wait until Chrissie starts to talk to us and stay awake a little longer for play time!! :D
-
I think Sofia is beginning to make talking sounds as well, the are noises that are not crys anymore.
-
Ali - Thanks for the tip on expressing. I'm having trouble finding time to express at the moment but Tony goes back to work on Monday which means we wont be out everyday visting people so I should have more time to get into a "routine" next week.
Sue - I've just stocked up on maternity pads so it would be just my luck that the bleeding will stop in a couple of weeks ..... I wouldnt complain though if it did.
Anna - I'll try doing some breastfeeding tonight but I do find expressing a lot easier and convenient. I only really resort to formula as needed but he prefers the breastmilk anyway. I braved the scales as soon as I got home and was disappointed to find that I had only lost 4kg BUT I have lost 1kg a day since being home so I'm only a few kg's away from being my pre-pregnancy weight. I had lent all my clothes to my sister during pregnancy as she had lost 25kg while overseas and she had nothing to wear when she got back and I had to go and get them all this morning as I didnt realise I'd be back into them so soon !!!
Haroula - Yay on Chrisie gaining so much weight. Fraser was heavier than that when he was born so he must look like a heffer against Chrissie although I think he looks teeny tiny!
I'm slowly putting together all the Mums with the Bubs so hopefully shortly I'll know who belongs to whom .......
-
Hi all, just a quickie from me as i need some peace, Ash just had a screaming match cos his poor tummy is so stuffed with this damn wind!!! makes me so upset watching him trying to get it out! :( Finally got him to sleep now tho..
Ash is now wearing Crawler nappies as im finding his newborn ones are leaking all the time, so i have an un opened pack of huggies newborn (54in a pack) if any one is needing any, i dont want to waste it so im happy to post it to someone who will get use from it, Let me know if anyone is intrested...........:)
Well off to enjoy some peace and quiet before a rough night of farts. AAAHHH spoke to soon, litle tinker is awake.....
-
Took Olivia to a movie today. She was really good. We sat in the main cinema for most of the movie and just had to go into the crying room for about 15 minutes in the middle when she decided to have a loud chat to herself :-) Olivia has been chatting away for awhile now and stays awake for playtime and chats which is really cool.
It is so hot here today (hence the movie trip to keep cool). Our lack of aircon is getting silly. I don't think we will have a good night tonight with Olivia, it is just too hot and tomorrow will be worse :-(
-
Lauren: Olivia has gone up a size in nappies too. they are a little big but the huggies newborns were just to small.. I bought the 4-6kg huggies and the up to 8kg snugglers.. :) Sorry Ash is having tummy troubles. It is so hard to watch them cry and then knowing the more they cry the more it is going to hurt.. Poor little man and poor mumma!!! I hope you get a good night...
Alicia: ah a movie.. What did you go and see?? I would like to go but it is to exxy for us with our tribe  plus seeing as I live in the middle of no where ;) there is only one session a week for mums with babes :) Oh well..
Olivia has had such a good day today, she slept for 3 hours 9-1 and then another 3 hours from 3-6.. Happily playing on the floor at the moment.. I got to have a nice bath with Jacob tonight while she slept.. Then I felt the biggest letdown coming and without fail she wakes within 5-10 mins of me getting it so I got out of the tub and sure enough by the time I got myself and jacob dressed she woke  Simon said.. see I always knew you had incredible boobs
-
We saw 27 Dresses (the movie offered in the crying room). It was cute but not as good as I was hoping.
-
I have heard of that but can't remember what it was about
We watched Mr Beans Holiday on dvd tonight with the boys.. Gee it was funny.. Jacob was sitting on the couch and he doesn't watch tv and even he was giggling at bits
-
evening Ladies ...... here i am up with a windy baby again :(
I think it's going to be a long night .... i'm going to do leg rotations in a minute.. a friend just told me if i do them at every feed then the wind should almost stop and become normal... Oh i hope so
Tash is up a size in the huggies as well .. i also got the 4-8kg ones a little big but at least they don't leave a leg mark... i'm going to get her weighed tomorrow
Night ladies hope it's a good night for babies all around
-
Is my baby the only one still fitting in newborns ?? The tab's still almost meet in the middle. LOL. Poor little skinny Abbey.
Sue, hope your night got better hun. And yes, leg rotations should help some for Tash.
Nic, LOL at your incredible boobs hun :D It would cost me a fortune to take all my kids to the movies too. DVD's it is here for us. Or only 2 go at a time to the movies. YAY on Olivia's good sleep. Hope she was good lastnight for you too.
Alicia, out theatre doesn't have a crying room. Noah asked me yesterday when I was going to take him to the movies. Thinking I will have to dump Teh at mum's and take him and Abbey. My plan is if she starts to make a noise I will shove a boob in her mouth !!
Lauren, I hope that little Ash settled down for you lastnight. Alot of the other girls are using Infants Friend for wind, have you thought about giving it a go ?
Tonydayl, it's confusing matching mum's and bub's hey. Esp when we have 3 Olivia's and an Oliver in here.
Louise, YAY for Sofia's good growing. Clever girl.
Haroula, great weight loss hun. I am hearing you on the flubber belly too. Let me just say after 5 babies there is no more elastic in my skin. It is no longer springing back like it used to.
Anna, Jett weighs just under what Tehya does. She is 14kgs last check and will be 3 in March :D Ripley sounds like he is growing good too. It's good to know that your boobies are doing it all hey.
OMG what an afternoon I had. I took the kids shopping, bought Noah's school uniform :( Too cute though. They started out really good but soon turn into "those" kids. So I brang them home. Abbey had 3 feeds in the space of an hour and a half in the centre, right before we left and still screamed in the car. About half the way. DP came home and we went back into the shops around 6pm. Abbey was fed and fine. She cried on the way in there, finally fell to sleep as we parked the car so she slept in the pram a while. Got Noah's school shoes, had tea, while I fed Abbey, picked up my birth photos (finally got them done) and left. Abbey screamed her head off the WHOLE way home, she was hysterical, it's a 15 minute drive and I swear it felt like an hour. Obviously Abbey just cannot cope with not being held. That is what I am putting it down to. I mean, she is fed and dry, burped, the whole lot when we go anywhere. And within a few minutes she is a mess.
Atleast Tehya only spews in the car !!
Have Abbey's follow up appt with the paed this morning, the one I don't like. Wonder how it will go. I'm sure I will be back with something to b!tch about.
-
morning ladies!
Hope you all had a better night! We had wsome wind issues again last night.,... but again lasted between 9pm-11:30pm then she managed to get to sleep in daddy's arms..! so she then slept well until 3:30and then woke again at 7am! So so far so good!... as long as that wind eases by midnight we all seem to have a good night!
it's been so hot here yesterday and overnight! I don't know how you ladies do it without aircon! :( .. supposed to be a cool change early afternoon! here's hoping!!
Trish - hehehe Chrissie still fits in newborns! although i have noticed they have gotten tighter... i have two more boxes!! so they better fit a little longer!! :o
bbl xxx
-
Trish, Ripley is still in newborn size nappies, he's a skinny little runt  I only bought one pack because Jett was in the 4-8kg ones from a week or so old so Ive had to go and buy more. Good luck with your appointment!
Ugh I hear ya on the heat, last night was ridiculous! Ripley ended up just sleeping in a nappy and I was almost ready to go starkers (obviously I cant).
A ? about the baby bonus - who's applied for and got theirs already? How long did it take to get it and for payments to be adjusted?
-
Morning ladies..
Well after being windy for 4 hours and crying from 6pm till 10pm (last feed)... Tash went 4 hourly only waking at 4:30am for a feed.
Anna .. i feel for you guys with a newborn and the heat ... haha i have Tash in long sleeves because or rain is back and it has bought a cool wind .. go figure this crazy weather ....
RE: the baby bonus i actually fluked it i think.. all up it took ten yes 10 days if you take out the public holidays over the xmas period :D
Oh it's raining here and i need to go to the shops later and to get Tash weighed oh i hope it eases just till we get in the car.
-
Trish - Sofia is still in newborn nappies and she is the eldest of all the new bubs in this group.
-
It sounds like there is a lot of windy babies at the moment. Fraser was up from 2.30am until 8am this morning with wind and it breaks my heart to watch him try to squeeze it out. He was lying in bed with me this morning wide awake when I heard this almighty farty/poo noise and it was the biggest poo I had ever seen. He has been asleep ever since (maybe it was constipation???).
I'm sorry to hear that a lot of you have awful weather. For the first time in a looooong time, our weather is quite pleasant as we have a few cyclones hanging around up north which is giving us lots of much needed rain. I dont think it has been over 27 degrees for the past week and a half so I'm making the most of the cooler weather while it lasts.
I sent the Baby Bonus application away on Tuesday so we will see how long it takes to get.
Fraser is still in newborn nappies too and the tabs still almost meet in the middle but they do leave a very slight imprint around the legs but nothing too obvious yet. I went out and bought 108 newborn nappies again yesterday so upon reading these posts, I hope he gets some use out of them (I didnt even think about him being almost 4kg now).
For those of you who know Bindy, she has been emailing me and she and Madeleine are doing very well but is yet to log onto BB to introduce herself.
Anyway, I havent slept since 2.30am this morning so I might go and take a nap as we have people coming over for afternoon tea at 2pm ......
-
Trish - Olivia is still in the newborn nappies although they only just fit now. I am hoping we can use the rest of the open box before changing to the next size. Will give the unopened box to my sister.
Nic - 27 Dresses is about a woman who has been a bridesmaid 27 times. Like I said it was ok but not as good as it could have been.
Haroula - I don't know how I am making it without aircon. Am really trying to convince DH to get it asap but he is not convinced :-(
Crappy night here but it was me, not Olivia, being the pain. I really wasn't feeling well and had a temperature. Of course immediately got all worried about the infection from the hospital being back but seems to be a bit better this morning. Olivia went to bed early last night (about 10:30) and didn't wake for a feed til 4:30 this morning which was great. However she has been awake since then and is still awake chatting to herself in the bassinet.
-
Well last night wasnt too much of a disaster! Got some good sleep thankgod, the wind didnt kick in till this morning and i finally got him back to sleep
Trish - I think i will definatly give the infants friend a go now. Does seem to be helping alot of bubs!
Kitten - How big is sofia now??
Teena - can u PM ur address and ill post them off, we use a courier with my mums company so we be easy to send off :)
Alicia - thats so awsome about the movies... ive been looking into the mums and bubs sessions that village do once a week. Would be soo nice to get out, as paranoid as i am about him crying! i didnt realise they had crying rooms. Which cinema did u go to?
If any melb girls are up some time to do a mums and bubs movie session we should try to get together, maybe when the weather is nicer, but its an idea :D
-
Anna - umm we did ours last week...we'll see how long it takes..
Sue - don't you just feel for them when you se then struggling with wind :( poor darlings!
Dayl - glad you guys are getting better weather up there! How gorgeous are the photos Bindy sent through! ?! :)
Sorry you had a rough night! It's hard to watch them scrunch up in a little ball trying so hard to get the air out! makes me
Alicia - i can't believe you are having trouble convincing DH!! sheesh what about Olivia?! yesterday would have been terrible for her! We upgraded out air con in November as the system we had before was old and would have struggled one more year.. i don't know what i would have done without it?!
Lauren - i'm in for a meeting at some point!!
-
Trish: Olivia did sleep well :) 10-2:30 then 3:30 -8:30. Dh and children woke us though.. lots of fighting was going on.. I hear ya on the car trips thing.. Olivia is generally ok but some days OMG the screaming drives me nuts. We are lucky we can pretty much pull over anywhere so we do I feed her calm her down and she tends to be ok then
Haroula: hoping it cools down for you soon. I too simply couldn't do without my AC.. It has been cool here the last 2 days so we haven't needed it but it is still humid which sucks
Anna: re the baby bonus. I got mine within 14 days and my payment was adjusted then as well. :)
Louise: Sofia will grown bigger soon and you wil missthose newborn nappies  I know I miss Olivia's already. Although she still wears 0000 sometimes which is weird for me.. my boys are usually in some 00 stuff at this age
Dayl: IMo I don't think it was constipation but more likey just trapped wind.. What I don't get is how something liquidy has trouble coming out lol... I guess it takes a while for your gut to mature.. Thanks for the update on Bindy. Even though i haven't "met" her yet I was following (stalkin ) you all over there :)
Alicia: I remember the movie now.. I hope you are feeling better today.. yay for Olivia sleeping well..
Lauren: Glad you had a good night..
Well sending you all cooling down vibes.. It is ok here today, still sticky but not hot . Olivia is laying on the floor falling asleep thrn waking up having a chat. I don't think she will go to sleep just yet. I better get up and help Simon. He has been busy cleaning all morning and all I hav done in the hour I have been awake is feed the baby change the baby drink a coffee and check my emails and BB hee ee... Have a great day everyone...
Oh and where is everyone from?
I live in QLD right on the coast of central QLD. About 120km south of Rockhampton...
-
Hi All,
I thought it about time to pop in and say "hi". Sammy was born 17th December. So far he's been a pretty relaxed little man most of the time, although he's been plagued by windy pains for the last few days or so. From the little bit of this thread that I've read it seems that other mums are dealing with this at the moment too. Not a lot of fun in the middle of the night!
Anyhow, I find it tricky to get on the computer as hubby is on it playing computer games most of the time, but I'll check in when I can.
-
Im in northern victoria until June then we move on - probably to Sydney.
-
Juliette: Hi!! Welcome to our group.. Sam is gorgeous. Kick hubby off for a while ;) we are a very chatty bunch hee hee
Anna: YOu must be super hot down there.. and all those fires.. scary stuff..
Lovely walk today.. Took a few more family photo's.. went shopping kids were good for once :) came home bathed the miss fed her and now she is asleep.. Kids in bedrooms Dh watching a movie and I am semi watching it
-
I'm a Sydney chicky here :D
Come on up Anna !!
Juliette, hi and welcome. Sorry to hear you have a windy bubba too.Tell your hubby to get off the puter too. BB time is far more important than games ;)
Nic, sounds like you had a pretty good night. And what is it with men and kids fighting. On the off chance of me laying in I always here whinging and fighting going on. Come to think of it, thats all I ever bloody hear these days.
Funny that you asked where we were all from. I was wondering to myself where Boyne Island was. I had assumed QLD.
Lauren, glad to hear that your night wasn't too bad. Hope Asher learns how to fart good and proper soon ;)
Alicia, I hope that your not getting unwell again. Remember that your supposed to be taking it easy still.
Louise, that's cheating hun. Sofia was insy winsy when she was born :D I'm sure she'll be in newborns for a while yet.
Paed appt was suprisingly good. He was on time for once too. Abbey now weighs 4.01kgs !! Bare weight. WTG Abbey, she's finally growing. And best of all, we don't have to go back !! A down side though was the last liver function test that was done (the one I got done at the hosp)has been lost. The Dr had no results for it, and the stupid hosp and no results ever for any liver function test done on her. Even though there was one done when she was last in hosp. Dr had those results in front of him but not the new ones. He has decided though as she looked and seemed fine he didn't want them repeated. Lucky !!
-
Its ridiculously hot. The a/c is running all the time from wake up to bedtime, not even keeping the house dark helps with the heat. Sucks that I cant even go walking because the kids would roast being outside for even 5min.
Anyone else have an unsettled baby? Rips has been sooking all morning and feeding like he's never been fed before. Ive *just* got him to settle in his bassinette and Jett is awake so no nap for me.
Ew I smell something foul, better go change the big man.
-
Trish: if you gogle where I live you will see it :) well duh that was an irish statement (no offence to any irishladies)
Anna: I wish it would cool down for you guys. I am not a summer girl.. I despise it.. Thankfully we are having a relatively mild summer at the moment..
uploaded new family pics into gallery :)
-
Ohh Nic, it looks lovely up there. Very nice.
Anna, I have a baby like that alot of the time atm. Abbey has been quite unsettled. In saying that though I have been in and out heaps. I really do need to spend more time at home with her.
Of to look at Nic's new pics (hehe, that rhymes)
-
I hate summer and winter lol Im an inbetween girl, the nice sunny days of 26-28deg with a nice breeze where you can go outside without dehydrating in 5 seconds in a singlet and shorts. Unfortunately its pretty hardcore here, we go from below freezin weather to scorching hot in the blink of an eye, I think the only months we have of bearable weather is Sept and April.
Where abouts in Sydney are you Trish? For some reason I always thought you were in Melbourne lol I really need to learn to read the Location section up top huh. If we move to Sydney (and Im betting we will be but with the Army until your actually there, never ever be 100% sure of it) we'll be out towards Liverpool/Campbelltown. Unless I spot a super cool house somewhere fun like Coogee and the army lets us have it
For all the Been-there-done-that Mama's -
Have you noticed youve bounced back better this time round vs the first/second etc time? I almost feel like I didnt even have a baby, body-wise I look 10x better - the tum isnt as jiggly, my love handles have disappeared - and sleep-wise Im probably getting less sleep than I did with my first baby but am coping better with it? I thought Id be a wreck for awhile after Ripley arrived lol
-
Anna- I definatley feel like I am coping better second time round, even though I am lots lots busier I am actualley getting more done- I have lost more wieht than I put on so happy about that, and just generally feeling better in myself ( I think being more confident helps with the mental state).
Well I am very excited, my SIL just had her baby this morning he was 3.83kgs, she is tiny only 5ft and a size 8-10, so she was induced a week early, but managed to have a v/delivery with the help of an epi. They called him Henry James Anthony, I am so excited to go and visit them on the weekend.
-
We think so too Trish :) and you rhymer you
Anna: I bounced back pretty quickly from my first and second births/babies then i did 3 and 4.. Not sure why.. It took me ages to lose the weight first time round but I was skinny again within the year but I guess age caught up with me  I find it harder and harder each time to keep the weight off and to stop that jelly belly... sleep wise I cope heaps better... especially this time.. I hardly have any day naps or even feel the need for one
I have a goal though to lose 20 kg by this Xmas.. It might sound like a lot but in reality it isn't...
Ali: Congrats on a new baby in the family.. How nice for the cousins to be slo close in age
-
WTG with all those bubs growing and getting chubby.
there's nothing cuter than a chubby baby.;)
i did a huge post but before i got to submit it, i pressed the wrong button and lost it all, now i'm going to start again.
firstly, hi to everyone.:hello:
I put my forms in for the payment the monday after Mirani was born and the following monday (xmas eve) the money was there. i think it just depends on how busy clink is.
my bleeding has stopped this week, now just the wait for the monthly monster to start arriving again (not looking forward to that one). and for the contraception discussion to take place.
Mirani is still in newborn size nappies as well, i have 2/3 of a box left and after those are gone, she'll be going up to the next size. she too is in a 000. I dont know how much she weighs though, she hasnt been weighed since she was a week old and my kitchen scales dont go up that high. she has her CHC appt next week so will see then.
Mirani's still a little bit windy and i think a little constipated as well.
but apart from that, we are all doing great.
sorry trish but i had to have a giggle about tehya puking in the car, my brother used to get car sick on long trips when we were kids. we always had to take at lest one ice cream bucket with us.
-
Congrats Aunty Ali!!!
Yeah I think the confidence factor is a big influence this time round. I dont find myself second guessing everything and I often just change nappies/feed/burp without even thinking about what Im doing. Even the whole toddler/newborn situation isnt as bad as I thought - sure we've had our moments but nowhere near what everyone had me expecting.
Nic - do you have a weightloss plan? Im probably going to go with Weight Watchers again, I lost most of my baby weight through following WW last time without feeling like I was sacrificing everything yummy I like to eat. Plus theyre breastfeeding friendly which I have to take into account this time. Im not to stressed about it atm, Im giving myself the first 6wks to just get organised and relax. My friend and I are going to do pole dancing classes once Im able to leave bub with DH - a friend of ours did it for 2mths before her wedding and she looked fabulously taunt and terrific, reckons it was so much fun. I think we're giving pilates a go too.
-
Anna, first of all never get comfortable with the toddler/ newborn thing. In a blink of an eye that can all change ;)
I am coping pretty well so far with Abbey. The only thing that is killing me is that she won't just go in her rocker for 10 minutes. The jelly belly, well I am resigned that unless I have a tummy tuck I will never have a flat stomach again. I am still loosing my weight (i think) and slowly getting back into a size 12. I know that I won't get to a 10 without starving myself so I will stay here.
Michelle, we have an ice cream bucket in each car. The minute Tehya says spew - yes, she tells us. It's a mad grab for the bucket.
Nic, I hope you achieve your weight loss hun. Of course you will. You have all those kiddies to run around after.
Ali, congrats on your new nephew. Not a bad sized bub for one so small. By brothers gf had my nephew earlier this year. She is 4 foot 9 and he weighed 4.04kgs. V birth, not a stich in sight. She did a great job.
-
I have a clingy baby here today, she has just gone off to sleep, hopefully until I have to pick Maria up from CC.
-
Michelle: Hi.. I think my Af is already on her way back.. why can't I get what most Bf mummy's get and thats a break from Af for a few months!! *sigh*
Anna: not a weight loss plan as such.. just healthy eating and moderate exercise.. My friends partner is a personal trainer so I email him my weekly eating habits and exercise and he tells me if I am being good or not and whay I can do to improve it :) He lives in Bris so if I am really norty he rings me and yells at me  in a fun tone though..
Trish: I know I will never have a flat tummy without a tuck either but I just want to lose my double chin :( and sigh I just want my pre pre pre pre pregnancy body back
-
Ali - Congrats on new nephew
Anna - Pole dancing sounds like fun. I wanted to do that as a Hens Night thing I organised for a friend but she wasn't into it so we did the regular male stripper and lots of drinking thing. A few years ago I did bellydancing (you don't have to show your belly) which was heaps of fun and helped me lose weight, I would love to take it up again but need to find a friend to go along with...
Bugger DH calling BBL
-
Oooh DH used Ikea's online planner to design a new kitchen - looks nice (not getting my hopes up on it getting done quickly though)
Nic - Your family pic looks great.
Lauren - I went to the movies at Victoria Gardens. As far as I know they are the only cinema with separate crying rooms in the theaters but I think all cinemas offer mums and bubs sessions. I would definitely be up for a movie with the Melb girls :-D
Trish - I am trying to take it easy but I am getting a little sick of feeling useless and having a 'minder' all the time (mum and DH are taking shifts). Also not being able to drive is so constricting! DH keeps telling me that I am doing the important stuff with looking after Olivia but the rest of the stuff I can't do is annoying me - shopping, visiting, even housework! Anyway am feeling a bit better and temp has gone done so should stop being a paranoid woman and just ask my nurse about it on her visit here tomorrow.
Olivia has been restless today, even after the cool change. Have a feeling it will be a bad night :-(
-
Thanks Alicia!!
I bet you are sick of doing nothing.. How long till you can do stuff? and yes girly you ask the nurse.. We don't want you getting sick again..
this is sad but.. on my DDF (due date forum) I joined ages ago. (it is a US one) one of the bubs is 3 weeks old and she has meningitis :( The drs have said she is going to survive but they don't know how much damage she has if any to her brain.. I feel so bad for them.. It must be so sad... I can't imagine if Olivia was sick.. It would just break my heart... So any good thoughts you could spare....
