Nic, huge hugs to both you and Olivia (just don't breath on me ok) It is heartbreaking when your babies get sick. I was the same with Tehya when she ended up in hosp at 11 weeks (omg Abbeys age now) she had bronchilitis which turned into pneumonia and ended up in the kids hosp on a drip. I too thought that as she was breastfed she shouldn't get ill. What a fool I was. Not saying that you are too of course. Ahhhh Talkign in circles. Anyway. Don't leave her too long, get her checked over by your GP, hopefully it is only a cold. Have you got Fess for her. Heaps better than having her struggle for a feed due to a blocked up nose.
Alicia, my 15 year old dropped out of school at 15, but not before he wrecked it for himself. A week ago he called his old school and asked if he could go back, they told him there were no positions available for himWork is too hard for him too, and now that his mates have all finished he's hanging out with them all day. As for Brandon, God only knows what I am going to do with him. At his age, thankfully, dropping out is not an option.
Teena and Haroula, have your gp's told you to massage your babies tearduct ? Just use your pinky and do little circular movements underneath their eye close to the duct, this will help to clear it out. My nephew has a blocked duct and even now at 11 months has issues with crusty, gunky eyes, Looks shocking. Poor bubba's.
Great growing there too Chrissie. Clever girl.
Suse, PMSL at poor Euan and his hands. It's even better when he get's bigger and you put a rattle in his hand for him to hit himself withWooHoo on the R word too. It's nice when things run smoothly hey.
Morgan, I hope the sleep fairy visits you guy's tonight.
Teena, how dare that child demand to be fedMine are the same too. Always when I sit down to feed Abbey they want food, or Tehya want's her bum wiped. Ahhh the joys hey.
Do any of your babies pull their own hair ? Abbey has done this pretty much since birth and screams like nothing else when she does it, which results in her fist getting clenched tighter and harder for me to stop her pulling it. Not sure how I can stop it, short of shaving her head or putting mittens on her.
Abbey has been pretty good today, although I know I am going to have a crap one tonight. I should be in bed already. She fell asleep early tonight, but only after having a restless and grumpy afternoon. She pooed all through her bed so I had to strip and bath her, strip her bed too. Just what I need, more washing.
Ok, best be off, the washing machine has finished now so I can chuck my jeans in the drier. Having a little meet up with some other bb girls tomorrow. Liz, it's still on hun if you want to catch up![]()
