Little mrs: Oh no your poor little man!!! How nasty of the dog next door! grr... Maybe some chicken wire over the fence? YAY for Georgia rolling over! She is one strong bubba!!!! Lol to your MIL fueling my obsession on FB too! haha.

Kirsten: Boo to Quinn being sick! I know how he feels!!! Seems to be going around at the moment. It's sad you didn't get to go to the meet up though! Did you have your appointment this morning? And yeah i got RAK'd but honestly have NO IDEA who did it cause I thought only you girls in here noticed me!! And yes I am in the wars. my damn nipples hurt soooo much from her feeding all the time!! I have to bite my tongue everytime she latches on because it burns!!!! They aren't cracked or blistered, just sore. And this stupid cold is p!ssing me off!!

Well we had another crappy night! She is just so whingey and unsettled and feeding ALL THE TIME! Maybe she is going through a growth spurt?? And she is fighting sleep so hard. Yesterday she only had 2 x 1hr sleeps all day and then didn't go to bed until 1am and woke up max of every 2 hours through till about 7am, then grizzled and whinged the whole morning... now she is fighting going to sleep in her bassinet, she keeps falling asleep then waking up crying. It's so frustrating! Silly babies.

Babyluv: how is Sienna doing? Have you upped her Zantac dose? Hope you guys are doing well!!

Kaylee: BAHAHAHAHA to your dream!! And to the *****ty blue swimsuit, don't you know that's what I wear ?? Yay for the meet up going well! Who was there?
YAY for liam!! What a good little boy! I wish Charlotte would sleep 3 hours let alone like 7!

Oh and I forgot to add, us QLD's are meeting tomorrow too! Me Shelly and Leah (God I cannot remember her BB name!!! lol) are meeting in Brisbane. Big drive for me but I am excited to finally meet people!

Awwww I'm all on my lonely up here, someone move to the territory so I can have a meet up too!

Kirsten: hope Quinn is ok! Boo to missing out, although I'm sure the next one won't be far away!

Bex: lol to you and MIL, I wonder if she's bidding on any... Hmm might get lucky with this one lol... G's been real clingy last couple of days too, hate it when you wait ages for them to be fast asleep and then they wake up and start crying the second you get up! Say hi to shelly and brunette for me tomorrow

Kaylee: yay gp Liam! Thats a great sleep! Did all the bubs behave themselves today?

Kaylee: Was it Mizqtie? It'll take about 2hours for me to get to Brisbane, then I have to drive to the airport to drop off my SIL's suitcases then back home. So about 5 hours driving all up?

Babyluv: I hope she hasn't caught my flu! She doesn't sound clogged up or anything but maybe she just isn't feeling well? her temp is ok. She is currently screaming. yay.

Little mrs; another velcro baby! Ah brunette! That's what her BB name is!! Had the biggest mind blank! haha. Aww sweets, if only DH was working on Tiger helicopters! then we would be in Darwin in 6 months!

Hi Ladies! It was so good seeing all the Melb girls today. It's nice to be able to finally put some faces to names and yes it does seem like we've know each other forever.

Kirsten: Missed you at the meeting. How's Quinn doing now? Better from his sore throat I hope. Did your OB appt go well?

New Dawn: Thank you so much for having us today. It was great! Hope ur appt with this afternoon went ok?

Mrs Bexie: Say hi for me to the Brissy girls too! Hope C is starting to settle better for you. She might be going through a growth spurt... they usually have one at 6 wks I think? I hate it when they go to sleep perfectly but the moment you decide to go do something they start crying without even opening their eyes. Love ur ruffle bum pictures. Can't believe how much ruffle bums there are on FB!

Babyluv: Missed you at the outing today. Hope you'd be able to join us next time. How's Sienna going? Is she crying a bit less for you? Zantac working any good?

Little Mrs: Georgia is one strong bub! Can't believe she's rolling already. Claire doesn't even show any inkling of wanting to roll, just happy to be on her back or tummy. :P Poor Rocky and his face! He was just trying to make friends I'm sure. Too bad the guy next door didn't appreciate his nosing around.

KayleeF: Hope you got home alright. Certainly a very far drive for you! We'll have to go your way one day, love the idea of the winery.

I think all our bubs were pretty well behaved today at New Dawn's. Though there was a point it was like a symphony of cries and those that weren't crying decided that they should join in too since everyone else was crying. It'll be so much fun once they start sitting up and wanting to play more. Claire's absolutely exhausted and slept most of the afternoon after getting home. Hopefully it means she gets a good sleep tonight too.

Wahhhh, I'm so sad that I missed out today sounds like you girls had lots of fun.

New Dawn: DS is fine now, little monkey, he has been a bit of a menace all day, I just thought it would be best if he stayed away, I would hate for any bubs to get a sore throat then you'd all be cursing me for bringing my germy kid along DS was asking after the Ob appt why we weren't going to play with "the girl" I had told him there was a girl his age to play with. And he was very whingy about missing out too.

Caixin: Ob appt was fine, no dramas there, he did ask me about contraception and I told him I have a small one here and a big one out in the waiting room playing with the toys Yay for Claire having a good sleep in the afternoon Hope she sleeps well for you tonight.

Bexie: aww now I'm jealous of your meet up too say hi to the girls for me too. Oucheroonie to the sore nipples too, I know that awful raw feeling when they've been feeding all day....it's horrid!

Littlemrs: poor you up there on your lonesome, come down here to the next meet up, it's not THAT far really....Next time I'm up that way I'll come visit (note: I was last there when I was 14) Which was the year you were born

Babyluv: Quinn is fine this afternoon, being as naughty as always...I shouldn't say naughty really, he is being a boy. VERY rowdy. How's Sienna going? Hopefully we can both make it to the next meet up

Kaylee: Mmmm snot block....yummmmm......I will definitely try to make it to the next one, I was really disappointed I couldn't make it today. And HOOORAY for the long sleep from Liam! What a little legend!

AFM: nothing much else to report, I'm exhausted from a cranky whingy sicky boy and then a feeling better but hyper and jumpy boy and lots of feeding and pooing from Ivy. Party central here.

    morning ladies,

SorryI haven't posted in ages, I've been reading all your posts though.

So went to the Melb meet up yesterday which was great. KayleeF is right it's like we all had known each other forever, cant wait to do it again ladies. All the babies are just so cute I wanted to take them all home lol! Thanks so much to new dawn for having us and for your fabulous snot blocks :-)

So O & I had our first night away from DH last night and I am very pleased to say that O was a little gem. Had my whole family here for dinner (9ppl to cook for) so O went down at about 10pm (after all her coudles) and has just woken up, woo hoo almost 10 hours. Boy oh boy ladies I wish I knew what we were doing so I could let you all in on the secret, he he, nar I'm sure we just got lucky and got a sleeper!
Otherwise all is going well with O, her hair's growing so fast she is going to need a haircut before we know it, he he! I remember someone mentioned that J&J products were too harsh? O has the same problem with the shampoo (which she clearly needs lol) so we have switched to curash and its awesome.

Littlemrs, oh your poor puppy thats not cool at all. Wow I cant believe G is rolling already, that's fantastic you must be a proud mumma!

Kirsten, poo to Q being sick, we sure did miss you, hopefully you can make it to the next one.

Babyluv, how's S going hun? Hopefully you can make it to the next catch up too.

Bex, yey to the brissy catch up enjoy hun, say hi to them all for me too! How's the beautiful C & all her ruffle bums going? lol!

Not much else to report at this stage, will try to post again soon. Got a new laptop on the weekend and its loads quicker so hopefully I can get on here more often!

Yay to having a good time caixin, ne dawn and keli! Did you get a photo will all the babies?

Caixin: I think it is a growth spurt with Charlotte... And yes, there is heaps of ruffle bum sellers!! I have like 8 in my favs. Lol

New dawn: yay to bulk billing!!! I hate having to pay for drs! Lol. Stingy! An what the hell is a snot block??? Did I miss something? I hte snot so whatever it is, everytime I read that I almost gag. Lol.

Keli: I've missed you!! Yay to olive being pretty much a perfect baby!! I am insanely jealous but very happy for you! Oh how sad she needs a haircut!!! It's way to cute to cut!!! I think you shoul just let it grow and get some clips.

We had another shocker. She will not sleep between 7pm and 12am... And won't let us put her down and won't stop crying. My sure fix doesn't even work anymore (boobies always worked)!! it's so frustrating! Then she feeds 2-3hrl all night. And this morning after her 5am wake up she wouldn't go back to sleep until 7... So I am tired! I wish I could figure out what is wrong!!! I'm already not eating certain things, I only give her Zantac on the bad days so maybe I should give it to her regularly? I hve no idea. I just wish she was happy... And slept.

I am praying so hard she sleeps today In the car and is good because I really don't want to listen to screaming for 2 hours, and it would-be nice to actually enjoy going somewhere.

    Hi all

Just a quick one as i have a screaming baby!!! I am insanely jealous of all you girls both melbourne and brissy at your catch ups!!!! Glad you had a great time and hope the brissy girls have fun today!!!!! Little_mrs we will have to send a pic of us and G and Ava next time they catch up so we can be there, sort of!!!!!!

Those ladies with babies with reflux, can you hear when they have it? What i mean is i can hear when ava vomits but nothing comes up and she swallows it then screams!! It is not all the time just after certain feeds. I have a feeling she has reflux.
I have found that I can hear it gurgle in her throat, It sounds like she is going to vomit but she never does, and yes she screams. For charlotte it's not every feed that I hear the gurgle but she does scream a whole lot!! And it's a painful scream iykwim... It's not just a whinge or a cry. What you can try is getting gaviscon infant from the chemist, no prescription needed and it's a thickener. So it thickens everything in their stomach and helps prevent it coming back up so it doesn't burn their throats. If she seems happier that may be it, however I found it did make Charlotte constipated so after a few days she ended up screaming for a different reason, that's why we went onto Zantac.

Does it sound like she is in pain when she is screaming?

Bex yes all of a sudden she will let out a scream that sounds as if i have pinched her! A real ouch scream. I may try the gaviscon and see if it helps, Thanks. Hope you are having a nice catch up with the girls.
Yeah def try the gaviscon and if that doesn't work maybe go to your dr to try something else. Sounds like the acid is burning her causing those random screams... It scares me web she does them! I'm always scared she has been bitten by a spider or something!!

New_dawn, Yep they are ours, doesnt matter you can keep them! hehe They are my favourite pants, although a little girly!

Just a quickone, last night we went to SIL ad i saw his tired signs, but we didnt have his bed there, and my SIL brought out toys and wow was he so over stimulated. Cried all the way home. barely slept last night, This morning he didnt want breast milk only the bottle So i dont know if i ate something thats upsetting him??
Ive just done the dishes, and he is asleep in his rocker, i hope he sleeps for another hour so i can get the bathroom done!!

babyluv & kirsten, you were both missed yesterday I hope next time you guys can make it, I have offered to have a meet up here, and then we can do a day thing like go to the wineries or have a picnic at one of the tracks here.

    Hello lovelies,

Renee: ooh sounds nasty, poor little thing. Hope the gaviscon helps Ava.

Keli: you are a superstar!! How did you manage to feed all of those people AND deal with a new baby! I bet you are a natural mother. And 10 hours sleeping - that is so wonderful, I bet you feel great!! I will be doing everything I can to make it to the next one. When are we planning it for I love O's hair, it's so gorgeous, clips are a great idea, you can get some great ones.

Bexie: heh heh heh heh to the snot blocks! snot block is a vanilla slice at you gagging at the thought of a snot block. I feel so sorry for you and for poor charlotte with all of that screaming. I can't even begin to imagine how exhausted you would be from that. You're a super trooper of a mum! Hope you're having fun today at the meet up!

New Dawn: Ivy is a poo star too, I think she must do at least 5 poos a day!

Kaylee: oooh that sounds fancy! Overstimulation is awful isn't it??? So hard to get them to sleep after that.

AFM: Ivy is being gorgeous, DS is being good today - but fell over at sport and cut both lips on his teeth, he is still telling me he has a sore tooth. Other than that nothing else happening. Ivy woke up last night at 2:30 and was still awake after feeding at 4...I like the 8+ hours MUCH better. OK Someone wants some milk gotta go

Gosh I've missed so much today
I'll have to catch up slowly as I'm on my phone!

Renee: yes to your qs regarding reflux. I hear it come up sometimes and she swallows it and screams. Sometimes I don't hear it but she coughs, chokes, holds her breath goes bright red & screams. She also screams when she has the hiccups do you find this? I haven't read anyone elses responses yet 'so sorry if I doubled up.

Sorry I missed the catch up ladies, I was seeing my sister and hadn't seen her since I came home from hospy. Hope I can make it to the next one, I'm really looking fwd to meeting you all. Sounds like you had a great time
S is doing better, I've upped her Zantac and it seems to have helped. S slept 7hrs straight last night, had a sleepy feed & slept another 3. I was so shocked, she's never slept so long!
Is this going to muck up my supply?
Someone asked me' today if by patting and rocking my bub to sleep am I making it hard for her to learn how to sleep on her own. I wasn't sure what do you think? S can never fall asleep without being rocked, walked, patted etc. I know some of you have bubs who have fallen asleep on their own, how hehe?

babyluv, Liam will fall asleep on his own if i leave him in his bed, or in the rocker, as much as it hurts my boobs i sometimes have to let him cry for up to 10 minutes to let him settle by him self. I can tell by his cry whether he is tired and needs to sleep or is screaming in hunger.

Im back... H just skyped with the winkies...

Baby luv, I cuddle PK to sleep, did the same with the others, I can tell you now I dont have to rock or tap any of them to sleep now I say do what feels right for you and your baby, with any advise your give ( same goes with my advise ) take from it what you want other wise just smile and say thanks but I am happy doing it my way... you only have a little baby for such a short time enjoy them while you can... I am not trying to make light of your question it just annoys me when people say this to new mums...

BTW PK doesnt have set day naps either, he doesnt go to sleep in his bed unless I am going too, otherwise he naps in my arms if I am lucky I can put him in his swing or on the floor, but he normally wakes not no after, so if I want him to have a good sleep I make sure I have my water near by and the lappy close by so I dont have to get up

    nothing new here

    * This is typed with two fingers one handed as I have a sleeping baby on me *
