PK is doing really well, I am still BF which is such a bonis, as I couldnt feed the girls very well... I am co-sleeping so I am waking with every noise which I have to say he makes alot lol, he grunts and squeeks all night long... But never really crys so cant complain, I am just trying to really enjoy every moment with him as he is my last baby... so want to savour every moment I can...

We will have to try to catch up with all the babies once school is back...

Babyluv, she slept from 11am till 3.30!!! Then she was the same unsettled and screaming self till 7.30 and fell asleep on DH and slept till 1am. I am trying to get her to not go to sleep till a bit later than 7.30pm around 9 or 10 would be good then i can go to bed when she does and hopefully get that big sleep then. She doen't want to cooperate though lol!!!

Georgi enjoy next week in Sydney. Go Eden sounds like he is doing great and even better if he is a gem at night, makes the unsettled day seem not as bad.

Hi mums! Haven't been posting for a while coz everytime I get time to sit down with the computer I don't get very far before Claire seems to want me again.
So on Tues we celebrated Claire's full month birthday with my PIL and it was my first time out in the shops since birth. Firstly I couldn't quite find clothes to wear, then at the shops, it felt weird to see people again. PIL left on Weds and we've had 2 days on our own since. Claire's been very kind to me and been sleeping and feeding well though she still has her unsettled times in the evenings from 7pm to 11pm but luckily DH is home then to help. I'm still learning how to do little bits of housework in between her needs but have managed to get dressed in the mornings, do laundry and get dinner on the table through the day.
Re settling bub: We've got the hammock and I've found it to be invaluable. When she's fussy during the day, she feeds, nods off to sleep but wakes up in 10 mins wanting attention/feed again. So I feed her again, (make sher sleepy somehow) then pop her in the hammock and rock away. I do end up spending a lot of time sitting by the hammock and rocking her back to sleep but at least I don't have to carry her and she gets some decent sleep. That way she's not too cranky come evening times. I've heard the miracle blanket is great too but haven't tried it yet.
We also use the dummy during her arsenic hour (if she wants it... sometimes she gags when w use it) and it seems to settle her quite well.
Sounds like everyone's bubs are putting humongous amount of weight. Well done ladies! I'll try to keep up if I can with posting. DH is thinking of getting me a tablet like thing so I can surf belly belly while BF.

Kaylee i am still wearing pg clothes also and the belly belt with my shorts as they don't do up. But my tummy is so disgusting as it stretched so much carrying her it is just like a floppy pancake!!!! So gross!!!! I don't think it will ever recover! 7hrs sleep go Liam!!!!

Mizqtie i just sent a friend request to you on facebook, Renee Taylor, Ava is my pic!

Little_mrs, Thanks i am much happier now. Wonder woman mowing the lawn and cleaning your house top to bottom!!! I'm not even allowed to vaccum the floors it is driving me crazy! I don't think i will last the recommended 6 wks before doing anything! We managed to get ava to bed at 9 last night and she slept till 2 then up at 6 so i think it is definatley worth trying to keep her up that little bit later.

For those who asked i got my swaddle from babies galore and the breastfeeding pillow from target.

Ava slept for 3 hrs today while we were shopping!!! Yeah! I have started to give her a dummy during those screaming periods. DH doesn't really want her to have it but he is never here during her 2-3hr screaming sessions!!!!

    Just subscribing too...

Quiet one here today too, I've finally dusted off my brain (I'm sure it was stashed in the bag with all my pre preg clothes, coz that's when I last used it!) and figured that if I dress Georgia in a full length bodysuit with feet bits to sleep in then she can kick the blanket off at night (we sleep with a/c on pretty cold) and I don't rush to put it back on her, she prefers no blanket so she sleeps better! Yay!

    Happy Friday for tomorrow

    Morning ladies!

Lol mizqtie! I have been thinking about it too but know I am so not ready for it yet, but I am excited to have another one... In about 10-12mths we will be trying again!

Well I think I may have to go off wheat!! Charlotte had been doing really well on the gaviscon n yesterday didn't need any up until her 7-8pm feed, then it was screaming, cluster feeding and a really unsettled baby all night! She finally went down after one pack of G at about 11, when we went to bed she had a massive spew all over her bed and new wrap! So had to get her our change her, wake her up etc and the screaming process started again... So fed heaps n eventually gave her more G and she fell asleep around 1:30am. I had made a really yummy banana bread and eaten a few slices from about 4-5pm onwards. I don't eat wheat very often and hadn't really had any for a few days until yesterday and bam screaming baby is back! I'm going to cut it out for a few days n see how I go.
And I'm going back to the dr cause the gaviscon is making her constipated and have hard poos!! You can almost roll them off her nappy! Poor darling has a hard time busting them out!
But at least when she was screaming last night I wasn't crying too... Lol.

We are going for our first post baby swim today! Considering the Aussie day one failed! Me n C are going to meet DH at base after work (he finishes at 1:30-2 today) and have a swim! We don't have swimming nappies cause they start at 7kgs! So just going to swim her in a normal nappy. What else can I do? Lol.
Oh and my PIL and SIL and her almost 2 yo are coming for the weekend. So not looking forward to it! My mil is lovely and nice, don't get me wrong... She is just very full on, and gets in my face! And we haven't got C settled yet so if she screams n mil gets in the way I might yell. Lol. I am horrible cause it's not like she is mean or anything! So I have to clean the house today, yay... Not! Hahha

What is everyone else doing today? How are babies sleeping?
Caixin hasn't been on for a while so hopefully she is doing alright!!!!

Little Mrs yes it is me, When we lived in Darwin we did the same thing winter jimmys when the air was on, but after awhile I go so use to the heat that I could sleep without it, and my poor winkies would wake up very sweaty lol, same in " winter " I always felt the temp drop so dressed everyone in our winter clothes... Oh I miss the tropics love waking up in the heat its like a big hug lol

Have to say that I could keep having winkies ( but need a partner for that lol ) but know I am finished PK is my last so just trying to enjoy him as much as I can, which is quite easy as he is so good even if he does like to feed every 2 hrs at night... But I LOVE having my big gaps its let me enjoy the baby as the older child could look after themselves to some extent... I dont know how any for you lovely ladys manage with close gaps, but as with everything in life its what you know...

Mrs B, at least you know what makes a screaming baby, its no fun when you have no idea how to help them... Those swimming nappies are a waste of money for little kids as they dont hold in little baby poops it all just comes out the side, it works well for bigger kids once they are on food and their poop is harder... when we used them with DS1 in the local swimming holes in Darwin we used to call it feeding the fish lol as when he would go in the water he would vomit and poop and the fish would go mad, only funny when XH was holding him mind you as the fish used to scare me... gross but funny...

PK is doing really well I am BFing well too, which is so good, as I couldnt feed my girls, he is waking every 2 hrs in the night which is ok for now but will be much harder when school starts as i wont be able to sleep in, not that i am really sleeping now anyway..
